INSTINCT. His was to bite me. Mine was to run.Death has never been so tempting. No one ever cares that they’re dying, when it feels this good to die. Farah’s life is over in this PNR Novelette from USA Today Bestselling Author, Hanleigh Bradley.I’m not like the vampires in your books, little girl. I’m not agonising over my own soul or the ethics of drinking your blood.I don’t want saving or to … drinking your blood.
I don’t want saving or to find some great love that will alter my very existence. I’m not a monster. I’m the devil himself and I have no problem playing that role.
I take what I want and right now, what I want is you… And there’s nothing you can do to stop me.

I have completed a few series by Hanleigh Bradley and this one is different.
Instinct was a quick read but I enjoyed it so much, I decided to put it down a few times to prolong the story. Farah and Everette experience something most of us do at some point in our lives, being attracted to something we shouldn’t be knowing they should walk away but can force themselves to do it. Instinct is the first book in the series promising mystery, suspense, desire, and emotional curiosities. I highly recommend this series for anyone looking for a fun quick vampire read that is not filled with the stereotypical story lines.
This is different from any other books written by Hanleigh
Is mysterious, sensual. Intriguing. Vampire and Human
Everett and Fara relationship is amazing, base just on instinct. They talk, they believe in each other words ,they know the outcome could be different. They are so immerse in feelings .
Will theirs Instincts guide them to distraction or happiness. I vote for latter
Everette and Farah; the hunter and his prey. This is a story that you will be hanging on every word. I like that it has a dual POV giving both sides of the story. This is a great start to their story and I cannot wait to read Craving. I received an advanced copy and am voluntarily leaving an unbiased, honest review.
Farah is human, a waitress, who loves to read about vampires. Everette is a vampire, who has an obsession with Farah. It’s very interesting to see how they interact with each other. Just when things are heating up, you are faced with a cliffhanger. I can’t wait to read Craving!
ARC review
This is a seating type of read. It flows well and the it grabs you from the beginning. And boy, the scenes are super hot.
I like the way how the intimacy scenes were not just I have to be careful she is a human but more the struggle of how he wanted her vs how he wanted to bite her.
But like she does the cliffhangers kill me!
Instinct, it’s all definitely about instinct. Her to be afraid of him, and him to pursue her. But also her to understanding how he is, what he is, wanting him. And him wanting her, possessing her. A vampire to drain her, and her to accept it. I am questioning where will it lead, being really curious and impatient to read more. Who should I kill to know what happen next? Because the wait is killing me.
