A Sweet Little Epilogue
Well, it’s really more than an epilogue, it’s a complete short story with a bad guy and adventures and everything. Of course, everything ends happily, and the final chapter is the sweetest little family glimpse, so all’s well that ends well.
Yoohoo…! Macey and her man are back! Amber gets an egg and ofcourse Macey and Amber go to see what the egg could be. But as you know with the Warden series, nothing is as it seems or is ever easy. What is in the egg? A little research turns up that it is an egg like no other. Apparently, Macey and her crew will need to save the world again, but in a much more enjoyable way. You will have to read it to find out!

The life of a warden is never dull and the adventure is never over. Once more into the fray for our heroine.
This is book 7.5 of the series, something of an epilogue or sequel. It actually works pretty well as a standalone, but might contain spoilers if you have not read the main series.
This is a paranormal romance story with a heavy dose of Scottish folklore. The story is well written and easy to read as I would expect. The characters and setting are also well developed and quite intriguing, almost as much fun as the plot itself. I particularly liked the Scottish elements seeded throughout. It was fun to have the gang together for one more adventure. Overall, another fun story.
Highly recommended.

Oh my waffles! I love this bonus story. This is like an epilogue and a peek at the future for the Seven Wardens. (It’s best read after all the other books.) This tale has more fun with mythology (this time Greek mythos is the focus), lots of fast-paced action, as well as a bit of mystery. I laughed out loud, too. There is also another mission to save (or not save) the world. This incredible, inedible egg holds what might be a dragon, so things get complicated.
I love how we get to see more of the support characters (Nessie!) as the Wardens visit old friends during this fantastic adventure. I also enjoyed the trip to the library and the book worm.

Amber gets what she thought is a dragon egg from her husband. She later discovers that it is similar to the egg that created the world. This egg will destroy this world and create another. Now it is up to them to save the world again. Will they save the world or succumb to the damage?

A Smooth Ending to this Series
“Inside the Egg” finally gives us some closure for Macey, Amber, and the other wardens, while giving us the final battle against the evil in the world. This series was so exciting and fresh that it gives us hope of a spin-off with the children. How cool is that!

Really enjoyed this action packed magical adventure filled with exciting and engaging charters, witty dialog, heart racing twists and emotionally passionate turns. Was a great read!
A fun story that had a mysterious egg that caused a bit of a problem. It made me laugh as I enjoyed seeing everyone. The story started out making me laugh and got even better. Just an entertaining quick read.
The story is placed a while after the end of the 7 WARDENS series. Amber received a dragon’s egg from Izban. Only it turns out to not be a dragon’s egg at all. When a small snake comes out of a small hole in the egg it reveals that it is an ophic egg, an egg to birth a god of creation.
But creation often means destruction of the old …
A great short sequel to the wardens series, with a new adventure and surprises all around.
I loved revisiting the wardens and mates and see what happened to them (and Nessie) after the original story ended.

Inside The Egg is a quick, entertaining story about an egg, the Wardens and saving the world. This is a well written story with well developed characters and an interesting ending. I look forward to reading more books from The Seven Wardens series.
Macey asked Amber if she was sure the golden egg she held in her hands was really a dragon egg. Amber told her she it was going to be her pet! With her own wonderful partners – wraiths Cam and Flint, incubus Jared, selkie Ronan, and daimon Luc, she had more than enough company and didn’t need a pet. Macey offered to go with her to the library to get information on raising a dragon. Unfortunately, Amber chose to take the egg with them in case it hatched.
At the library, Macey went through a book of 350 kinds of dragons to find which one matched the egg. Amber continued the search for how to care for a baby dragon. When Amber let out a scream, Macey put the egg down and ran to help her friend. Amber had tripped over her own feet and clutched a bookworm in her hand, a larger caterpillar type creature that absorbed the knowledge in the books. She put the bookworm back on the shelf and they walked to the desk. Macey saw a crack in the egg and, as she held it, it vibrated and a green snakelike critter with scales slithered through the hole in the shell and wrapped around the egg’s exterior! As a beithir, Amber spoke “serpent” and they decided to ask the creature what it was. The snake said it was an orphic egg. The librarian told Macey that according to Ancient Greek mythology, the very first god hatched from the orphic egg; Phanes, a hermaphroditic god, then created all the other Greek gods, including Zeus. If there were more than one, it would start creation again and herald a new beginning – and possibly the end of everything that had already existed before! A world-egg such as that could bring devastation to the world as they knew it! Would Macey and the other Wardens have to save the world this time?
The story got more and more exciting as Macey and Amber found out what kind of egg they had found! By the time Macey got back to Amber, the snake had wrapped around her wrist instead of around the egg. Will that be a complication? Are they ready to deal with the orphic egg? Grab your copy and find out what all of this means and if they can defend against what may be coming!
This is an action-packed fantasy reverse harem romance that kept me glued to the screen. I couldn’t flip the pages fast enough. It’s intense and mysterious, with the right dash of sexiness.
