Save the world again. Amber’s husband gave her what he thought was a dragon egg. Amber is excited to have a pet but then she and Macey find out the egg is dangerous. It is identical to the egg that started the Gods and the world. If what is in the egg is the same as the original one, it could destroy the world to start a new one all over again. Omg such a great ending to a great series …….. Another adventure to save the world with her gorgeous men at her side …will they do it and defeat this new evil or will they succumb to it ….well you guys will just have to read this awesome book to find out ……..I’m going to miss Macey and her wardens ….I loved this book and it was a brilliant way to end the series
This is a cute quick read. I love reading about Macey and her men. Obviously they are always saving the world from something. This time it seems to be more about saving their futures. A large golden egg that was thought to be a dragon egg but not. Well then what kind of egg is it? Why does the guardians need to have children now? Hmm, something seems fishy! Well you will need to read this to find out. It does have a happily ever after ending.
Will Macey and the other Wardens have to save the world…again? This is a fast, fun read that brings the gang back together for one more adventure. When Izban gives Amber an egg, will what comes out of it begin or end a world…or both. It was great to see the Wardens a little further on, and another nice slice of mythology.

Macey and Amber are trying to figure out what kind of dragon egg Amber has. She wants it as a pet. When the situation changes and the egg cracks, things go from interesting to very bad. More mythology about the creation of the Gods and the world restarting. Great characters and the storyline was entertaining.

“Macey thought she was done saving the world…she was wrong.”
Just when I think the adventures of the Seven Wardens were finished, I find myself reading ‘Inside the Egg, book 7.5 in series. Once again we’re immersed in the drama, adventure, action, with a great deal of humor to boot.
Amber gets an egg and Macey and Amber go looking to see what the egg could be. But as you know with the Warden series, nothing is ever easy. What’s in the egg? Read it!
Oh no! Amber has come home with what she thinks is a dragon egg! After some research, Macey asks Luc to come and see the egg. As soon as he does, Luc does not seem happy. Yikes, they might have found an orphic egg that will hatch a god! Oh my, what are they going to do now? This story is a comical end to a great storyline. It contains no true action but includes the trademark romantic antics and lots of steam. It also ends in a HEA. Highly recommended.

Just about the time, I thought the adventures were finished, I find myself reading ‘Inside the Egg, book 7.5 of Laura Greenwood, and Skye MacKinnon’s “Seven Wardens” series. Once again we’re given drama, adventure, action, and a great deal of humor. A new species in introduced from Greek mythology which made this rather exciting. This was a short, easy read that just added a bit more to the entire series. How fun.
An HEA that is fun and sweet! The egg being try’s to deceive the wardens but Luc and Ronan figure out the game being played. The wardens pass judgement and sentence him. Life goes on and the story ends several years later with both Amber and Macey having children. Amber just returning with her new daughter and letting the men know Macey will be having a third child soon…. all is right with the wardens.
Great series!

This was a cute short story about the seven wardens. Amber received an egg from Izban but it is more than it appears to be and now they have all been told they need to have a baby or bad things will happen. Had to laugh at how they get out of this one. I would recommend this book and series.

It was sweet and gross. Seeing “Eros” in my minds eye the way you described him when Macey and the gang first saw him and then after. Pardon the pun but a biiiiggg difference. I hope there’s more to come with the Warden’s story.

This book takes place after the main events in the Seven Warden series and starts with a dragon egg that Izban bought as a special present for Amber. Amber and Macey go to the special library to research how to look after a dragon egg and the small dragon that will emerge. What they don’t know, is that the egg is not a dragon egg, but something much more dangerous. An accident leads to the bottom of the egg cracking and a small snake like figure coming out, which only Amber can talk to. She is infatuated by this snake, but there is more to come as they find the special egg could bring about the end of the world. Inhabited by a god, a being Macey had never managed to believe in, no matter what amazing and strange things she has seen in her life so far. This god has certain demands of the Wardens and if they do not comply, then he will bring about a great evil and destroy their world. They need to figure out a way of delaying agreeing to the god’s demands, for as long as possible, while they try to work out another way to stop anything evil happening. The seven Wardens, Luc and Ronan must split up into separate rooms in their house in the mist, while they comply with the god’s first demand after getting home. The god had followed them to Nessie’s new holiday home and tried to shoot an arrow at Macey, but Nessie jumped in to save her.
When Nessie finds out the real truth and identity of this being, she may well be deeply disappointed. The two non-Wardens are the main ones to solve the puzzle and with Jared’s experience of such matters, sort out what to do next. All is not as it seems and someone has been using magic to trick them all, wanting more power for themselves and for them to procreate immediately, to produce more Wardens. This book shows the Wardens some way into the future, with their powers and abilities still in existence, even if there isn’t much call for them to save the world yet again. Small incidents will no doubt exist and occur at times and Macey has her promises to the Loch and Sea Kelpies to keep, by visiting them each week. With five men of her own, that causes a few scheduling issues, but she and Amber are both of child bearing age at last and happy with their partners. A seemingly serious problem to overcome yet again, which is easier than most of their past exploits and certainly less dangerous. Great to see how they turn out later in their lives and manage all together, in the house in the mists, no matter how much Izban wants a separate home. Last but not least, the infamous waffles, as often as they can manage! A satisfying ending of the series. I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.
This is a great short story that shows a little bit of life after the Wardens saved the world. They finally seem to have break from defending the world. Macey and her men are enjoying their time in their home in the mists. Amber has gotten a dragon egg from her love and fellow Warden, Izbun. Amber and Macey are looking for books on caring for dragons when the egg cracks a little. A snake comes out stating that the egg is really an orphic egg. The Wardens must tread carefully though because things aren’t as they appear. Will they be able to figure out what is going on?

Loved this additional story after the last book in the ‘Seven Wardens’ series. Once again we are drawn into the kelpie world and this book includes everthing that is exciting. Danger, anticipation, mystery, and best of all….sex! I am so happy that we get one last look at Macey and her men. This book also includes Amber and her man. Amber finds a golden egg and plans to keep it as her pet but the egg is a lot more dangerous than she expects. This book was exciting and steamy and I read it in a day because I could not bring myself to put it down. I would recommend reading this book after you have read all the previous ‘Seven Wardens’ books because it may give you some spoilers. What a great read!

I loved this little novella, it was a great humorous read that had me giggling at times. I loved the story and it was great to see the characters again and see how they were coping with the end of dealing with the Wardens. I loved seeing them all again.
Five out of five stars.

Oh, My Goodness. I have loved reading these amazing books. You feel so invested in the characters and story when you read them. These books were gripping, beautifully written and the chemistry between the characters was just awesome!!
This is a short novella that takes place after book seven. While I think it can be read as a standalone it really should be read after reading the series. If you like paranormal reverse harem books, you’ll enjoy this one. Just when Macey thinks they finally have the peace and quiet, Amber is gifted a dragon egg from Izban. Only the egg isn’t a dragon and it may cause a threat to the world. The wardens have no choice but to figure out what the egg is and if its evil.

This is a very fast pace, fast read novella. It revolves around an egg of course but what kind of egg you ask. It’s an Orphic egg. What’s an Orphic egg??? I’m not telling but it does/can brilliantly start new adventures for Macey, Amber & the wardens. Here’s hoping a new series for this madcap group is on the horizon.
Laura Greenwood & Skye MacKinnon really compliment each other. I suggest you grab this whole series and everything else written by the Dynamic Duo. Together or separately ALL their books/audiobooks are so very worth it!
A Seven Wardens story, it is well written with a very good storyline. This time there is a egg and things are not what it seems to be. Read this story to find out exactly what happens. The story was well worth reading. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
