A brand new series set in a whole new world. Dalton: Women are a perk of my lifestyle. I work hard. I deserve to play harder. But I didn’t get on the Forbes List of Rising Entrepreneurs by getting lost in the baggage and disruption that comes with dating. I’ve seen dozens of men fail when they fall in love. Pathetic. That’s why I chose the Bachelor Tower. It was designed by a genius, my hero: the … genius, my hero: the late, Garry F. Brockton. He created an all-male haven for ambitious men who want to live like kings and play by their own rules. Casino nights, a fully equipped gym and lap pool, cigar and Scotch bar, and a media room with screens the size of the average movie theater. The list is endless. I easily network with men trying to launch their careers or those at the top who want to stay hungry. The best part: the tower attracts women, beautiful women who hang out in the lobby bar and vie for an invite upstairs. Easy, like fishing in a barrel.
Until Brockton dies and Penny Fuller moves into the apartment next to me because the new owner doesn’t share his vision.
Everyone agrees Penny can’t stay. I don’t want to get involved, but she doesn’t understand the lengths my fellow building mates will go to to get her out. She’s not only irresistibly sexy and painfully optimistic, she’s also in real danger.
Siding with her would be career suicide.
Betraying her was never my intention.

Young entrepreneur men live in an all-male bachelor building which caters to them specifically, but the situation changes when the owner dies, leaving the building to his niece. Woman entrepreneur Kylie leases an apartment but needs to be out of town, so her sister Penny moves into the building to get the place ready. And of course, the fact that women are moving in doesn’t go over well with the men who are living there. Penny gets to know her next door neighbor Dalton who can be a real jerk, but all at once sparks fly.
The first in a sexy new series by author Ruth Cardello, Insatiable Bachelor is a unique flirty romance filled with passion and well developed secondary characters. The rest of the series promises to be equally fun, as well as entertaining, and I can’t wait to the see what the author has in store for the remaining bachelors!
Fun concept about a Bachelor Tower. Ruth writes with humor and so much creativity, I never know what’s coming next. Thoroughly enjoyed this book.
Rough start but worth the read in the end. The male lead in the story was tough to like at all in the beginning and I almost put the book down (it was a little bit TOO crass for my taste) but it improved. The premise is interesting and I like the characters in the next book in the series. There is a little bit of mystery to this story line and I actually am intrigued the most about the new building owner Christen. Can’t wait to be introduced to that character. I have a feeling her book will be phenomenal.
Good read
Very well written. Great characters from the H&h to the “villians” along with difficult family situations. H learning was is more important in life, more money & promotions or people and enjoying the small things. Very well done.
I enjoyed the interaction between Dalton and Penny. As well as his young friend and her sister. Penny is determined to keep her sister’s apartment and doesn’t let anything get to her. Dalton is entranced by her spirit. Ms. Cardello is a great author.
fun, quick read. Nothing earth shattering but a good diversion for a couple of hours.
The premise of an all men’s apartment building full of bro’y pigs has its amusing elements in spite of total lack of realism. Most of the women are portrayed as just chasing a rich husband which I didn’t care for either. But, it’s a competently written romance in which two very different personalities discover they can both be people together.
rhe novel had lots of sex and little plot
Easy read steamy passages. Enjoyed the characters. First time I have read this author. Will look for more
Loved this story!
The male characters are infantile and so annoying, I skipped most of the book. It’s just not my cup of tea, causal misogyny disguised as “boys will be boys” patter.
I really wanted to enjoy the book cause of the concept of an all male ivory tower residence but……alas I didn’t.
I really liked this story. The concept of the Bachelor Tower apartments, and all the perks to living there, was unique and a lot of fun to read about. Dalton was not only an insatiable bachelor, but he was insufferable too. He was the type of guy that you have a hard time liking at first. His arrogance and elitist attitude made me want to punch him many times. Luckily, as the story progresses, he changes and grows into a new man. Penny was a delight. The exact opposite of Dalton’s workaholic, all business demeanor. I loved that she never wavered and continued to get back up every time the men of the building tried to knock her down. I think these two were perfect for each other, because they gave something that the other needed to better themselves. I liked how things evolved slowly between Dalton and Penny. It built the tension up and made things even more passionate when they got together. The supporting characters were wonderful as well, and I can’t wait for the next story.
Penny and Dalton were such a fun a HOT start to the Bachelor Tower Series! What a different idea for a series! I was not expecting this from Ruth Cardello, but it honestly surprised me in the best way!
Penny moves into the Bachelor Towers, an all male apartment building, while her sister finishes up a project overseas for the month. Dalton is her next door neighbor, and it is definitely messing with his well laid plans!
The banter and sexual tension between these two was sizzling, and I LOVED how their relationship was built up before the two of them hooked up. But Dalton hasn’t shared the whole truth about everything with Penny as the two of them unexpectedly grow closer. Will they be able to get their HEA? Can love truly change someone for the better?
This book had me HOOKED throughout, I really didn’t want it to end! I cannot wait to see what Ruth will bring us in book number 2!
Written in the first person with dual point of view (bravo Ruth – you did an excellent job!), this is the story of Penny and Dalton. Dalton living in an all-male apartment building and sweet, innocent Penny is laying claim on her sisters’ apartment in the Bachelors Tower until she returns from China. Those living in the apartment building have declared war and try to drive Penny out. While Dalton agrees Penny needs to go, he finds himself helping her. When it backfires, the sparks really begin. I loved this book and can’t wait to read the next on in the series!
Sizzling!! Dalton is rich, self-centered and feels entitled to everything he has. Penny is easy going, fun loving and very optimistic about life. Dalton & Penny are TOTAL opposites but when they together the sparks fly!!
This story is written from both the hero and heroin’s point of view and I think it was the perfect way to tell this story. The banter between Dalton and Penny was fun and enlightening and I loved it!
Author Ruth Cardello turns up the heat in this wonderfully entertaining book. As she kicks off a fun new series featuring the occupants of the Bachelor Tower we get to meet some great characters that should give us quite a few fun stories in the future. In this one Dalton and Penny are fantastic characters and I love how their relationship was developed. It’s a slow easy build with lots of witty banter and back and forth between them. This made for a very enjoyable read.
Dalton is enjoying his life. Single, successful, and living in the best place in the city. That is until the peace and drama free atmosphere is shattered when his sexy new neighbor Penny moves in next door. Dalton loves women but having one live next door tempting him in ways he doesn’t want to be tempted is a problem. Getting her out of Bachelor Tower is his priority. Too bad her calm happy demeanor slowly works it’s way under his skin and breaking him down. Will he eventually choose her or his fun loving lifestyle?
I highly recommend this one.
Looking for a fun, flirty romance with a male lead who’s life takes a full 180 when he meets his match? Look no further than Insatiable Bachelor.
Dalton is perfectly happy in his stable, perfect world. He’s a resident of the Bachelor Tower where women are welcome to come warm his bed but not stay the night. He has concierge services at his finger tips, anything and everything he wants and needs is just a call away. Life is fabulous. Predictable. Until Penny moves in next door.
Penny is holding down the fort until her high powered CEO of a Fortune 500 company can move in. Penny’s sweet, smart, and sexy. And everything Dalton never knew he wanted.
A woman. In Bachelor Towers. Inconceivable. Apparently not. Ownership of Bachelor Towers has changed and the vision for the building is now in flux. But the residents aren’t taking these changes sitting down. They’re going to fight and fight dirty. Who will be left standing when it all shakes out?
I kinda adored Dalton’s curmudgeonly ways. How stuck in a rut he was and didn’t realize all that he was missing out on in life. He was smart, sexy and noble in his quest to help, but not help Penny–in and out of his bed. And Penny, I loved her. She was no pushover and I loved her positive outlook on life and love. But I really enjoyed Dalton and Penny together–they clicked so perfectly that I couldn’t help but root for them to beat the bullies! Can’t wait for more in this series!
Insatiable Bachelor is a little bit of a different feel from Ruth Cardello’s other romance books. This one is written in first person and I personally thought it was great. Dalton and Penny have such a hot and cold feel to them. Dalton doesn’t want to like her as she is trying to destroy something that he has found to be a good thing for a confirmed bachelor like himself, but when she is being threatened his defensive side comes out and I’ll admit I really like that side of him. Throw in a little bit of the humor we are so used to seeing in Ms Cardello’s book and a story that will captivate your attention and I’d say we have a great way to spend some time away from your real life here. Hope you enjoy Dalton as much as I did.
Insatiable Bachelor is the best slow burn there is! Flirting and sexual tension so high it just fans off the pages! I need me a Dalton! Sexy bachelor who loves his ways. He sees not one thing wrong with living in Bachelor Tower where only men live and women aren’t allowed in except for a quick romp. He enjoys working constantly and playing on the weekends. Then enters beautiful Penny to shaken things up a bit. She’s sassy, happy go lucky, and possibly the most gullible sounding person ever. Yet she’s so smart and may come off gullible, weak, and shy but she has a strong personality and doesn’t let anyone get in her way. If they do, she brushes it off. The men of Bachelor Tower concoct some plans to get rid of Penny who is watching the apartment for her sister. The try to break her, she proves she isn’t that breakable.
I’m not a fan of slow burns, unless they are done like this! There was no wishy washy feelings, it was a true slow burn. Getting to know each other, flirting, and finally when the sexual tension was so high they had fun. I’m hooked on Ruth Cardello’s flawless writing and need more of Penny and Dalton. I can’t wait for the next one to get some glimpses at them but also to see how badly Penny’s sister puts the men of Bachelor Tower in their place!
I loved the idea of the Bachelor Tower with different guys and their stories – brilliant set up and a great plot line. Dalton Croft is the perfect bachelor for this setting. He sees this as a great life for himself, having everything he wants at his fingertips no matter what that is. Penny Fuller is the perfect woman to shake up Dalton’s world. She is a fly by the seat of her pants, taking nothing serious in this world type of girl. Dalton’s life was totally organized and exactly as he wanted it. Penny is apartment sitting for her sister and when the men in the complex try to drive her out, because women just aren’t allowed, Dalton has to figure out which side he is on. In the meantime, Penny worms her way under Dalton’s skin by being totally honest, and being so unlike anyone he’s ever met. When the unthinkable happens and they become friends, both come to realize what they were holding on to wasn’t really what they needed.
I am in love with this series at Book One! I wasn’t so sure in the first chapter if I was even going to like Dalton but when he became who Penny knew he could be I fell in love. This author writes with such wonderful humor, and pure heat while putting everything together in such a nice package at the end. I absolutely loved the last chapter in this book. Mrs. Cardello put a nice red bow on the ending! I loved it and cannot wait for book two!!!
