I didn’t mean to see him naked–it was an accident. It had to be, right?Because Noah McCormick and I have never been anything more than friends. In all the years I’ve known him, he’s never once laid a finger on me. And even though he was a cute lifeguard at 16 and a hotter-than-hell sheriff’s deputy at 34, he’s always been that protective guy I could trust to keep his hands to himself. I never … I never wanted to mess with that.
Until I walked in on him getting out of the shower and saw his hard, muscular body totally bare and dripping wet. At that moment I never wanted to mess with anything so badly in my entire life.
I should have covered my eyes. Said I was sorry. At the very least, I could have handed him a towel.
After all, I was only in town for a few days, and he was just doing me a favor by escorting me to my sister’s wedding. It wasn’t a real date.
But I didn’t apologize. And he didn’t cover up.
(Talk about a hot mess.)
After all those years of being just friends, suddenly we’re insatiable.
He’s made it clear he’s not interested in romance. Which is fine with me because
I’ve got a plane ticket back to my real life at the end of the week.
It’s all in fun…or is it?

Insatiable takes us back to Cloverleigh Farm in Michigan to reconnect with the Sawyer sisters in the third book of the series. This interconnected stand alone focuses on Meg. We haven’t seen a lot of her up to this point as she has been living in Washington DC. A personal shake up has Meg returning earlier than expected for youngest sister, Frannie’s, wedding and reconnecting with life long friend, Noah.
From a character stand point, I found myself genuinely liking Meg, Noah, and the secondary cast of siblings, parents, and friends. They are people I could see myself hanging out with.
On the story/plot front, I appreciated that Meg was facing a bit of a cross roads and how she handled things. It was sweet to see her lean on her sisters and really listen to herself as she was trying to decide the direction she wanted life to go. For Noah – his journey was a bit different. It was fun to see him open himself up to Meg even when it violated his own sense of masculinity. The impact his siblings had on his decision making just highlighted the potential he and Meg had to be a good fit.
Insatiable is a well written family centric, friends to lovers story. It continues the excellent world building around the Cloverleigh Farm/Sawyer sisters, but new readers to the series could easily start here. If you have been following the series, you will be glad for glimpses of previous characters. There are also hints about what maybe coming, but this is very definitely Meg’s story.
I enjoyed the balance Ms Harlow had in Insatiable. Not only is there a romantic relationship, but family relationships play key roles in the story. Add in the emotional elements that Meg, Noah, and several of the secondary characters are dealing with and you have a must read story.
4.5 stars!
Insatiable is one of the better friends to lovers romances that I’ve read in a while. Sexy, swoony with a dash of angst, Melanie Harlow shines again. Book 3 in the Cloverleigh Farms series made me feel everything. Every single thing. I swooned, I laughed, and truth be told I shed a tear or two. If you’re looking for a book that you can lose yourself in then Insatiable is a definite must read. I just absolutely adored this book.
I am so in love with the chemistry and friendship between Noah and Meg. There’s an ease to them. A natural flow. Their feelings for one another had been simmering for years. So when those feelings are unleashed, it’s explosive.
Gah! Noah is so hot. Now, while my heart still belongs to Mack from Irresistible, Noah definitely put up a good fight. He’s such a great guy with a bit of a deliciously dirty side to him. *cough* Handcuffs. Nothing about him is potato salad. He’s the perfect fit for Meg. Speaking of Meg. I love her! She’s career driven and goal oriented but with the biggest heart. I couldn’t help but be in awe of her.
I am obsessed with Melanie Harlow’s books. She has a way of sucking you in with her heartfelt words and outstanding characters. The Cloverleigh Farms series especially has a special place in my heart. I can’t wait to get the other Sawyer sisters’ stories
5 Insatiable Stars
This is the first book by Melanie that I have read, and I have to say it won’t be my last. Melanie has created the perfect mixture of heat, heart and angst that will keep you wanting more. This story seriously checked all the boxes for me, and I couldn’t be happier. Melanie’s words will draw you completely into the story and won’t let you go until the last page!!
“But she was like gravity—no matter what I did, I couldn’t fight the physical pull of her. I was never going to win.”
Noah and Meg were complete Perfection. Friends since high school they are at home with each other and utterly comfortable. They don’t want to mess up their friendship but at the same time there has always been an attraction between them, one that they’ve fought for years. Well when Meg comes home for her sister’s wedding they cave into their attraction and all bets are off. I’m not normally a huge fan of friends to lovers, but the way that Melanie wrote them you can’t help but fall in love with them.
The intense heat between them was pure freaking FIRE!! You could feel the chemistry jump off the pages and heat your skin with its intensity. Melanie wrote it so well it felt like a completely natural progression from their interactions in the story.
“Cum again for me,” I demanded. “Let me feel you.”
I loved everything about this book. The whole story felt natural and the progression from friends to lovers was perfect. Melanie has a phenomenal way with words that will draw you in and hold you completely captivated. The raw angst from this story will have you aching down to your soul. And only Melanie’s words will help sooth that ache. As I said before this is the first book by Melanie that I have read, apparently, I’ve been living under a rock. So please excuse me while I go and read her entire back list…. Don’t miss out on this sensational friends to lovers romance that will give you Every. Single. One. Of. The. FEELS……
Excellent read by Melanie Harlow. Noah and Meg a true friends to lovers that started at the age of sixteen. As adults their chemistry between them was amazing. You will laugh and have emotional that resolved the love they have conquers all. A must read for sure.
It’s sweet and sexy with some angst. I was completely hooked from start to finish. It has all the feels you’re looking for. You will totally fall in love with the characters. I loved their connection, the banter and the sizzling sparks. It’s an entertaining story and absolutely a must read.
A chance meeting, and Noah KNEW it would always be Sawyer. But life goes on, priorities change, yet friendship remains. Noah, a twin, feels as though he doesn’t deserve to be happy. Everything has always been easy for Noah. He feels guilty that he was born healthy and his twin brother wasn’t. He hides behind the guilt by becoming the best deputy sheriff, while helping his mom with Asher. Noah believes he’ll never find a woman who will accept that Asher will always be a part of his life, so he vows to never be anyone’s boyfriend again, Until Meg comes back to town…
Meg Sawyer, a successful attorney, has always put work before relationships. When her relationship with Brooks fails, Meg realizes she’s not all that heartbroken. Meg wants the house, the husband, the family, the dream. She’s just not sure whom is willing to fight for her. After texting Noah and stuffing herself with Twinkies, Meg decides to extend her stay in Cloverleigh and head home.
Holy smokes. Noah and Meg’s chemistry was off the charts! I loved the contrast of Noah’s Alpha, sexy male in the bedroom to his caring, loving side. He’s protective, loving, caring, supportive, vulnerable, and funny. He’s great with his brother, his nieces and nephews, his mom, and his service dog Renzo. Noah excels as a sheriff and is a valuable member of the community. Meg, aka Sawyer, has had a crush on Noah since he saved her life. She’s stumbled in previous relationships because she used her job as a crutch to not put forth the effort it takes to make a relationship work. Until Noah…But will Noah fight for Meg? Highly recommended! I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.
“Sometimes we don’t see something right away. . . Even if it’s been there all along.”
Dynamic, emotional, sensual and wonderfully balanced with heart and humor. Noah and Meg’s story is everything and more that I’ve come to anticipate from the Cloverleigh Farms series of standalone novels and I cannot wait for more!
Meg and Noah were such an amazing couple!! I loved how they never let anything stand in the way of their friendship. Time or distance didn’t matter.
I really hope Sylvia is next. I need her to have her own HEA!!
Five hot steamy stars!
Insatiable is the third book in the Cloverleigh Farms series. All of the books in this series can be read separately.
This book is about Meg and Noah a friends to lovers romance. Noah is a Deputy and lives in Michigan and Meg is a political Strategist who lives in DC. Meg comes back home to Cloverleigh Farms early for her sisters wedding after another failed relationship. What starts out as friends quickly turns into fireworks between Meg and Noah.
I now have a new favorite book in the Cloverleigh Farms series. Insatiable is a must read with all the feels that had me laughing and crying at times. You won’t be disappointed in this well written friends to lovers book.
Friends to Lovers perfection!!
Meg and Noah have been friends forever. But the lines blur and sparks fly when Meg comes home for her sister’s wedding. Both thinking this is just a little fling and we will just go back to being friends..HA!!
Noah!! His commitment to his family and what he willing to give up was beautiful.
Meg was my favorite Sawyer sister to date. She was willing to take that chance on Noah and give up everything for him. That sexy cop..I just wanted to smack him!
Grab this sexy and sweet story now!!
Melanie Harlow has outdone herself yet again! Her latest friends to lovers book blows many others out of the water! I just loved Noah and Meg. They are so good together as friends, but as lovers…OMG they are perfection! Insatiable was so much fun, HOT and all. of. the. emotions! I was sucked in from word one and couldn’t put it down.
They’ve known each other since they were kids. They’ve always been there for each other no matter what. But what happens when there’s an mistaken peek of a birthday suit and a roll between the sheets after? He doesn’t wants a relationship or anything past good sex. She can’t find the right one and is sick of falling for the wrong guy and getting her heart broken. Can these friends come to an agreement on where they go from here?
What more could you ask for? There’s a hot cop with a police dog! Noah is veteran who now lives in his hometown working as a sheriff with his dog Renzo. His heart is pure gold. All he wants to do is take care of his family even if it means sacrificing his own heart. As a teenager he saved Meg’s life and from there they developed a deep friendship which he never wanted to ruin despite his longtime feelings for her. But when she comes back to town for her sisters wedding after another failed relationship both of their hearts are put to the test. Through the whole story you’re just rooting for them. They are both so lovable. And the sex is hot! Melanie Harlow does not disappoint with Insatiable.
4.5 Stars
Insatiable is the third book in the Cloverleigh Farms series. I am loving this series and the Sawyer family so much. And it’s no surprise that this series is becoming one of my favorites.
I loved Meg and Noah’s story so much. This friends to lovers romance hit me right in the feels. The friendship between Meg and Noah is so pure and just everything.
Meg is a successful attorney living in a big city. She has a career she loves, and a boyfriend she’s been with for years—so everything should be good, right? But after her boyfriend dumps her she realizes that the life she’s been living is anything but great. She decides to go back home sooner than what she had planned to. And maybe being back in a familiar place she’ll get some clarity, but she never expected to feel more than friendship for her good fiend, Noah.
Noah is a sexy as sin cop. And being a cop takes up a lot of his time. He also has family obligations that makes him unavailable for a serious relationship. But when Meg, his longtime friend is in town, she starts to stir up feelings in Noah that makes it hard for him to hold back and resist—even though he knows he should.
Meg and Noah have had a lifelong friendship. And once Meg starts hanging out with Noah with her trip home she begins to see him as more than a friend. There’s no denying Meg and Noah’s attraction. And as much as Noah tries to push Meg away he can’t push away his feelings for her. Meg and Noah were scorching hot—they’re so good together. Their friendship is easygoing and playful, but as a couple it brings another depth to their love.
Insatiable brought all those sweet, swoony and steamy moments I look for in a friends to lovers romance. I loved Meg and Noah’s story so much. I also loved getting to know what the other Sawyer sisters were up to. A very enjoyable read and another exceptional addition to the Cloverleigh Farms series.
5 star Review Insatiable (Cloverleigh Farms # 3) by Melanie Harlow
I am becoming addicted to this series. Insatiable is a friends to lovers story that I couldn’t put down. Meg and Noah McCormick has been friends for many years and neither of them has ever thought to cross the invisible line.
Although Noah is not looking for a committed relationship he is attracted to recently dumped Meg who has returned to town early for her sister’s wedding. When Meg accidentally walks in on a naked Noah, lines will be crossed, even if it is only temporary.
I loved Noah and Meg, both as individuals and definitely as a couple. Meg is such a fabulous character; strong, determined, feisty and above all committed to her family. Whilst Noah, is a seriously hot cop who is caring, protective and an all around good guy. The chemistry between Noah and Meg is intense and it only grew as the story progressed.
The secondary characters were entertaining and each time I read a Cloverleigh Farms book I feel as though I am among friends. This is a sweet, romantic story, with a little angst thrown in to the mix full of love of family.
Another great read from Melanie Harlow and I look forward to reading more in this series soon.
This is the third book in the Cloverleigh series but can be read as a stand-alone. Noah and Meg met when Noah saved Meg from drowning. They’ve been friends ever since…keeping in touch over the years and lending an ear when needed during a breakup. They’ve only ever been friends even though they may have both thought of more. This was a super cute friends to lovers story. And it intertwined with the first two books so you see more of those characters.
A incredible friends to lovers romance that will keep you on your toes. I adore this book for so many reasons. The characters are relatable and I loved the back and forth banter. Seeing Meg and Noah plunge into the deep end from friends to something more was emotional but also very fun loving. Their friendship ran deep so they had great humor towards one another. The writing was complete perfection and I had to finish this book in one sitting to see how it all turned out. This series is easily becoming one of my all time favorites and I suggest you get a copy of this book you won’t be disappointed.
This book was perfection and I just couldn’t get enough of it! Noah and Meg were everything I needed and more.
Meg and Noah were terrific. I think this is my favorite book of the series so far. This is a great example of friends to lovers done well. Noah is a cop with an adorable K9 partner Renzo (and I’m not even a dog lover) so many of you will enjoy that aspect of the story. The family and sisterhood is still strong here, and the setting makes me wish I was at Cloverleigh Farms to meet these wonderful people and attend a beautiful wedding! I can’t wait for the rest of the sisters’ stories. But for now, Meg and Noah definitely do not disappoint.
I was hooked at Twinkie. Meg and Noah have a friendship that can survive time, distance and attraction. But can they survive being together? This book was a masterpiece that I couldn’t put down. Tension and desire on every page had me wanting more of them. I love this series it just keeps getting better! I can’t wait for what comes next!
Another favorite written by my go to author, Melanie Harlow. I was ecstatic when I knew she was releasing a new book for the Cloverleigh Farms series. I love getting lost in that place. Once Noah came along in the story, I was sold! I love a man in uniform and Noah is no exception. I love his personality which is kind, strong, and all around a good man. When he and Meg get to point of no return, the alpha just had me weak in the knees.
I loved Meg! There is a few obstacles that she has to overcome and when she makes it on the other side, you will be amazed with her beauty, strength, and determination.
There is so many things I could list that will make you want to have this book in your hands. I smiled, and teared up a few times. My heart flopped a time or two. Insatiable will melt your heart and give you that “Coming back to home” feeling.
