I didn’t mean to see him naked–it was an accident. It had to be, right?Because Noah McCormick and I have never been anything more than friends. In all the years I’ve known him, he’s never once laid a finger on me. And even though he was a cute lifeguard at 16 and a hotter-than-hell sheriff’s deputy at 34, he’s always been that protective guy I could trust to keep his hands to himself. I never … I never wanted to mess with that.
Until I walked in on him getting out of the shower and saw his hard, muscular body totally bare and dripping wet. At that moment I never wanted to mess with anything so badly in my entire life.
I should have covered my eyes. Said I was sorry. At the very least, I could have handed him a towel.
After all, I was only in town for a few days, and he was just doing me a favor by escorting me to my sister’s wedding. It wasn’t a real date.
But I didn’t apologize. And he didn’t cover up.
(Talk about a hot mess.)
After all those years of being just friends, suddenly we’re insatiable.
He’s made it clear he’s not interested in romance. Which is fine with me because
I’ve got a plane ticket back to my real life at the end of the week.
It’s all in fun…or is it?

Insatiable is a fantastic friends-to-lovers romance with all the heart, humor, and heat you can ask for, and a great addition to the Cloverleigh Farms series. Meg is the middle of five girls and after seeing three of her sisters find love, she can’t help but want it too. She is a busy attorney who has been unlucky in love and after her most recent breakup, she needs to surround herself with the people who have always been there for her. She heads home a few days earlier than planned for the wedding of her youngest sister, Frannie (from Irresistible ), to hang out with her family and best friend, Noah.
Noah is a police officer who loves helping people. He knows the demands of his job and he isn’t looking for love but he wouldn’t mind a night of fun once in a while. He has a huge heart and puts his family and friends first, and is an all around wonderful man.
Even though they are obviously attracted to each other, Noah and Meg have only ever been just friends. I love their friendship and what it means to them, and I understand not wanting to ruin what they share. Their friendship is easy and their banter is entertaining. I loved the fun they have and I enjoyed seeing how comfortable they are with each other.
Now that they are back together, Meg and Noah relish in their friendship but the dynamics feel different. There is a spark and though they never allowed themselves to think about being more, they do now when they start thinking about the “what ifs.” Denying their attraction cranks up the sexual tension with every moment they spend together and it becomes harder to ignore the temptation. When they decide to have a week of no-strings attached fun, it is intense and all-consuming, and they give each other what they’ve been missing. I loved that Noah challenges Meg and pushes her out of her comfort zone. And I loved that Meg understands Noah and everything that matters in his life.
It’s sweet and steamy and so much fun but sometimes things don’t work out the way you want them to when unexpected feelings get thrown into the mix. Meg and Noah have a lot to figure out before they can be together and I thought the emotion was real. I was rooting for them and while I understood why they made the decisions they did, I was still frustrated at times. I appreciated that the drama wasn’t drawn out or over the top, and the gesture at the end was totally swoony. I loved how everything played out once they realized what they were willing to fight for.
I enjoyed getting more of the other Sawyer sisters again and can’t wait for more from this series. I also loved seeing Noah’s relationship with his twin brother, Asher. My heart went out to the both of them and all they have to face. They stick together though and Noah really shows us how amazing he is. And Renzo!! I loved him! Such a sweet addition to the story!
Yay! It’s back to Cloverleigh Farms, this time for Meg’s story. Not only do I get to spend time in one of my very favorite book worlds, but it’s set in a place near and dear to my heart, the beautiful state of Michigan. It’s time for Frannie and Mack’s wedding which brings the whole family back together, and you’ll fall in love with every member of the Sawyer clan.
The timing couldn’t be better for Meg Sawyer since her boyfriend just broke up with her, so time with her family and lifelong friend, Noah McCormick, will help soothe the sting. Noah and Meg have been BFFs since he saved her from drowning as teenagers, and no matter where life takes them, she can always count on him.
This is small-town charm, close-knit family, and friends to lovers at its best! Harlow once again delivers with this heartfelt story that wraps the reader in its cozy warmth while turning up the heat in the bedroom. And the kitchen. And the living room . . . well, you get the idea. Meg and Noah are both perfectly crafted strong and mature characters, but with flaws and vulnerabilities that make them all the more endearing.
Meg is a wonderful heroine, strong and intelligent with enviable family relationships, but it was Noah who stole my heart. He’s a fierce protector of both the townsfolk and those he loves, with a strong sense of responsibility and a few beliefs about himself and love that are a bit myopic and need some tweaking. And boy, does he get some timely lessons to help him along the way.
With a captivating storyline that practically reads itself, complex and endearing characters, well-timed humor and tons of heart, you’ll definitely want to add Meg and Noah’s heart warming, spicy, phenomenal story to your TBR!
Meg is coming home for the week to attend her sister’s wedding! She loves her busy, yet boring life in DC but something about coming home is calling to her. Something about spending time with her sisters and her best friend, Noah, makes her feel comfortable. Noah is the town deputy. He is all work and family. He doesn’t have time for a relationship but he can’t wait to have a beer with his friend, Meg. Can these two friends find something more?
What a beautiful story! You will fall in love with Meg and Noah. Full of passion, heartache, love, and healing, this book will snatch up your heart and won’t let go.
There isn’t part of this book that I didn’t love wholeheartedly! I was captivated by the author’s amazingly exquisite words. So full of emotion and passion. This is an absolute MUST READ!
Absolutely perfect is the only words I can think of to describe this book. And I’m so mad at myself for missing the first two of the series, even though they are stand alones I really am just mad at myself for missing two of her books somehow!! Meg and Noah were the exactly the couple and the book I needed. I think every woman alive can connect to Meg and that’s what makes this book so much more sweeter. Melanie has also had that perfect balance of romance, comedy and hit you in the gut feels that make me want to read everything she puts out. I would definitely recommend this book!!! By Tina

What another great read by Melanie Harlow. The story of Noah and Meg is a fabulous addition to this series of Sawyer sisters. The entertainment factor between these women is never short on laughs and smiles.
Noah and Meg have been close friends since high school, so it’s no surprise that when they catch up after not talking for a while, they can pick right up where they left off. The foundation of their relationship is a alive and kicking, the comfort level they have with one another is still present. The attraction to one another that seemed to linger is now bubbling to the surface, the slow burn is hot and sexy.
The connection that continues to develop between these two is pure magic. Melanie turned up the heat factor between these friends to lovers. The sex and dirty talk will have you clamoring for more. Noah is the ultimate book boyfriend…thoughtful, attentive, gorgeous and most importantly a family man. He was perfection. Meg was smart, driven, a small town girl at heart. She doesn’t want to lose what her and Noah have as friends, but there is no denying who her heart belongs to. I recommend jumping into this small town loveliness
Meg and Noah- a great friends to lovers story. They’ve been friends for years. Meg is headed home after a break up for her sisters wedding. Her and Noah reconnect on their friendship. They can see how their feeling are developing but they don’t want to ruin their friendship.
Meg is a workaholic. Noah is and incredible guy. Loyal to his family- everyone’s dream guy.
As they hang out during Meg’s week home- they give into their feeling. How the get to their happily ever after is an incredible sweet story you will fall in love with.
This book has amazing supporting and honest characters. Real family and real friends!! A must read!!!
ARC REVIEW
I can’t believe how sweet and romantic and pure passionate this book was!
I had been dying to be back in the amazing world that is the Cloverleigh Farms series!
‘Insatiable’ by Melanie Harlow is the third book in this incredible series that follows the Sawyer Sisters in their journey to find love, and this crazy journey has Meg as the main character.
If you have previously read the other books in this series, then you know to expect a quick romance full of love and passion, crazy families, big ambitions, realness and tons of good steam. Well, this book is no different, in fact, it will make you remember why you loved this series in the first place and why you can’t wait to read more!
Books like this are exactly why I love reading and why I specifically love reading romance. A book like this one that brings all kinds of emotions out of you, making you view life from a different angle and giving you a reality check while also leaving you breathless and with a head full of dreams and love.
Meg is one of the Sawyer sisters, and just like the others, she is pure, beautiful, driven, hard-working and caring. She is as close as you can be with all her sisters, she adores her family, is amazing at her job and at friendships, the only department she is not doing so good is relationships. Meg is truly unique inside and out, she is quirky and fun, sarcastic and loving, she is a crime show addict and a Twinkie connoisseur.
She hasn’t found someone who brings the fire out of her yet, someone who lights her up and dances in the flames alongside her, and being back in her hometown for one of her sisters’ wedding is just driving that point home. The only consolation is that she will be able to see a certain someone who saved her life when she was a teenager, someone who has changed a lot since then.
Noah is the son of the beloved county’s sheriff that town had ever seen, he is a sheriff’s deputy himself, someone who is devoted to helping others and loves doing so.
He is passionate, funny, talented, smart, calculated and caring, especially towards his family, his number one priority. He has an amazing dog called Renzo, who’s part of the K-9 unit and this duo is know all over the county, they are that amazing.
Noah is doesn’t want to be in a relationship, he knows what he wants for his future and is dead set on it, even though it might end up hurting him in the end.
He has an incredible relationship with Meg, a relationship that has lasted half their lives and has gotten them through rocky roads they wouldn’t have been able to get through alone otherwise. A relationship that can’t be ruined over something as simple as an attraction.
Too bad it isn’t that simple.
Things between the two of them become very hot very quickly, despite all of their attempts at resisting it, and when they finally collide they are explosive. Insatiable.
They share something unique and sweet, something that should be considered sacred. They care for each other, ignite each other’s souls, get along with their families and just connect in ways neither thought possible. They learn how to overcome their fears and with each other’s help, they become the happiest they have ever been.
The only problem is, this arrangement is temporary. Something light and fun, no attachments.
Too bad their feelings don’t get the memo and their bodies decide to ignore it altogether.
This book has put a permanent smile on my face all day, it has opened my eyes, made me fall deeper in love with these series, made me ‘aww’ and ‘ahh’ and ‘omggg’, it has made my day brighter and brought me back to a place that never fails to pull me in and make me forget about real life.
Seeing how this couple navigates through their problems, while also keeping up to date with the other characters from this series we all know and love has really made me appreciate this book even more. It made it all much more fun and put my head in my own little world created by these amazing characters.
This is a must-read if you love quirky heroines and dreamy heroes that make for a fast-paced, quick but packed with emotions romance.
Move over Mack and Oliver, there’s a new favorite man in Cloverleigh Farms. Well, technically he lives in the neighboring town of Hadley Harbor, but that’s not really important.
It’s always the quiet ones, isn’t it? You’re going to flip for Noah right from the beginning. He’s such a passionate person, and I don’t just mean in the bedroom (but believe me, he’s definitely not lacking in passion there). He’s loyal, protective, and focused. He’s a family man through and through. He’s funny, sweet, and wickedly dirty. But sometimes that passion bubbles over in a negative way, so he can also be broody, grumpy, and even an occasional jerk too. It’s these flaws that help balance out all the perfection. You’re going to love him.
Meg is great. Despite things not going her way, she’s determined to push through and make the best of her current situation. She quirky and fun, with a great sense of humor, and a desire to break away from the mundane. She has a good heart, and her desire to do good in the world makes her instantly lovable.
If you’re looking for a great friends-to-lovers romance, this one really hits the spot. There are plenty feels packed in here and quite a bit of heat; toe-curling, sinfully dirty heat that will make you look at Noah completely differently. I’m telling you, you’re going to melt over this man. And it’s also fun to peek into the lives of the other Sawyer sisters too. I can’t wait to read more from this family.
To be fair, one of my fave romance tropes is friends-to-lovers, and combined with Melanie Harlow’s exceptional writing, I knew I would love this story before I even started – and it was even better that I hoped! I loved career driven Meg, independent, and going after her own dreams. She left home at 18 and never looked back, but stayed in touch with Noah, a good friend of hers who became a K9 officer. When she needs a date to a wedding, of course Noah steps up, and the sparks Meg has long kept hidden from Noah ignite. As usual, Melanie has delivered a great romance with a solid plot line. There is always a sweet and soft element to her stories, but she sprinkles in the steam perfectly. I loved this latest Cloverleigh Farms story and would definitely recommend it.
Insatiable is the third book in the Cloverleigh Farms series. Melanie Harlow’s writing has this way of making my heart feel as if it’s being hugged. Insatiable is a comfort for the soul, feeling as if I’m part of two wonderful families. The bond of sisterhood and friendship is strong and heartfelt. I wish I could have prepared for a day that I didn’t want to be interrupted and a sleepless night. I was not a happy camper any time that I had to walk away from my kindle.
Noah McCormick and Meg Sawyer are wonderful together, best friends who take a chance on becoming lovers. Noah is the town’s sheriff deputy, a strong man wanting to be there for everyone. Noah carries a heavy burden, he blames himself for something that was out of his hands. That blame has him pushing away the best thing that has come back into his life. Meg is an independent woman, her workaholic tendencies push away a chance to allow time for relationships. The week of Meg’s sister’s wedding may be the perfect chance they get to realize the feelings that they have always had for each other.
I love this story! I love the characters, the chemistry, and the friendship between Noah and Meg. This story goes beyond the hot as hell deputy or the sexy independent woman who is trying to find herself and where she’s meant to be. This story is about family, their struggles and love.
5 Must Read Stars!
I am so excited that we are back to Cloverleigh Farms with Melanie Harlows newest release, Insatiable. This idyllic little town has fast become one of my new favorite series from Melanie.
In book three, we get the story between Meg and Noah. After a bad breakup, Meg finds herself leaning on long-time friend Noah to help soothe her heart. What she doesn’t expect to find is a new insatiable attraction that keeps drawing these friends into lovers.
Probably my new favorite of the series, Insatiable brings us all the small-town romance we have come to love from Melanie. Her characters continue to be easy to love, charming, and have a chemistry that blazes.
Melanie Harlow does it again with another standalone in her Cloverleigh series! It’s small town, friends to lovers, childhood friends and emotional rom com. Amazing alll in one!
ALL THE FEELS.
That is all coming to my mind after finishing Insatiable by Melanie Harlow. This small town romance with an epic friends to lover story is simply beautiful and absolutely adorable. And the steam and passion increases the attraction of this story so much!
Noah and Meg has been friends forever. Though they live a completely separate lives now, their connection never cut. Noah is the beloved and respected cop at the small town which is the home town of Meg. Meg left Cloverleigh Farm to pursue her career and she has achieved so much. But her personal life is a failure. So she decides on impulse to visit her town for an extended time. And she reconnects with Noah. Now Noah’s life is a mess and he carries a heavy emotional baggage. They cannot deny this explosive chemistry and decides to have fun. But the casual sex turns into so much more. But Meg lives in big city for her highly demanding job and Noah has chains tying him in the town.
I loved the sweetest romantic moments and hottest passion fuelled moments equally. Noah is the perfect man. His plate is full right now. His mother grieving his father’s death. His brother with special abilities struggling every day. His own guilt and heartbreak eating him alive every single day. My heart was aching to soothe his vulnerable heart. He is so much obsessed with his worthlessness and determined that he does not deserve a chance at his own HEA. And it’s so intense and overwhelming that he ended up pushing Meg even if she is the best thing happening to him. Meg has own issues and she thinks no one will fight for her. This smart, confident, compassionate and sweetheart of a woman falls hard for Noah. Because who can resist this gorgeous, protective and caring man with a golden heart. I loved the sizzling hot chemistry between them. It has the edge of slow burn with push and pull. The angsty emotions were killing me as Meg and Noah worked out their issues.
Insatiable by Melanie Harlow is all about taking chance and risks for romance. Meg and Noah had so many obstacles and indecisions in their love sick hearts but once they went all in, love did all the work for them. A sweet, sexy, intense and swoonworthy love story you cannot miss.
Received ARC for Honest review
Insatiable by Melanie Harlow a five-star read that will whet your appetite. This is the third novel in the Cloverleigh series and they each tell us a different sister’s story, and I have never wanted sisters so much in my life, each novel can be read as stand alone. This one touched my heart in ways that the first two didn’t, and I adored both of them, and it wasn’t Noah and his best friend and Sawyer sister. It was the secondary characters including the settings and places mentioned they added something special to this whole story. Noah McCormack is an out and out hero, saving a life as a teen, serving his country as a man and then helping old ladies as a slightly older man. But that’s not the only way he is a hero in my eyes, he was a hero about the way he struggled coping with life, and how he dealt with the hand god gave him and his family. I don’t know if it was the timing of this story as just a few days before I read this story, my childhood bestie lost her mum and she faced a life much like Noah had worried about, and dealt with it in much the same way, with dignity and honour. This is a powerful story and one that I was honoured to read, this series is one you need in your life.
Where do I even begin? First off, this is a standalone, you don’t need to read the other two books in the series, but you’ll want to go back and read them because the stories are amazing. But, back to Insatiable… Meg and Noah’s story is AMAZING. There is something about a friends to lovers story that gets me every time, their story is no different. The chemistry between these two is unreal. I couldn’t get enough of them. Their history has friends and their untold feelings had me wanting their HEA, they both deserve it. I think out of all the books in this series so far, Noah and Meg’s is my favorite.
I love small town romances and friends to lovers gives me ALL the FEELS!
Melanie has my heart with this one! You’re going to love it!
Each book in this series gets better and better. Best friends since he saved her life at the beach, Meg and Noah have stayed close even though they lived miles apart. Coming home for her sister’s wedding reunites the pair, but this time something is different. Friendship is not the only thing between them, especially when she catches him coming out of the shower. But Noah is adamant he is not boyfriend material. But can the friendship survive when sex cannot lead to a commitment? Melanie Harlow has such a way of creating true to life characters. Ones that have true and honest connections that are a joy to read. The underlying guilt that Noah carries around with him will touch your heartstrings. Truly a heartwarming story that should not be missed.
The latest novel in the Cloverleigh Farms series from Melanie Harlow is here!
Friends to lovers story is sweet, endearing, and a long time in the making which could be boring or promising. No matter how you feel about long term friends the step to make that person more is just mind-boggling
This is a sweet friends to lovers romance and it can be read as a stand-alone. I haven’t read the other books in the Cloverleigh Farms series and didn’t feel like I was missing anything (although it has made me want to read the previous books).
Noah and Meg have been friends for years and although they don’t stay in constant contact, when Meg needs a friend Noah is always there. Returning home for her sisters wedding, Meg has to face some realities when it comes to her own failed relationships but she’s still willing to risk her heart to see what it is between her and Noah.
Noah is a sweetheart. He’s loyal and protective and the way he is with his twin brother, it had me swooning all the swoons over him. He’s commitment shy though and although he has his reasons, it was still frustrating.
I loved both these characters and their story. There’s something about them both together that had me hoping Noah would see sense before it was too late. This is a great book and I definitely need to catch up with the other books in this series.
