I didn’t mean to see him naked–it was an accident. It had to be, right?Because Noah McCormick and I have never been anything more than friends. In all the years I’ve known him, he’s never once laid a finger on me. And even though he was a cute lifeguard at 16 and a hotter-than-hell sheriff’s deputy at 34, he’s always been that protective guy I could trust to keep his hands to himself. I never … I never wanted to mess with that.
Until I walked in on him getting out of the shower and saw his hard, muscular body totally bare and dripping wet. At that moment I never wanted to mess with anything so badly in my entire life.
I should have covered my eyes. Said I was sorry. At the very least, I could have handed him a towel.
After all, I was only in town for a few days, and he was just doing me a favor by escorting me to my sister’s wedding. It wasn’t a real date.
But I didn’t apologize. And he didn’t cover up.
(Talk about a hot mess.)
After all those years of being just friends, suddenly we’re insatiable.
He’s made it clear he’s not interested in romance. Which is fine with me because
I’ve got a plane ticket back to my real life at the end of the week.
It’s all in fun…or is it?

My favorite kind of romances are ones where the hero and the heroine already know each other, where they have a solid foundation of friendship and perhaps even a connection that both of thought about as something more than, but never took the chance to explore what they could have been.
Melanie Harlow’s newest hero and heroine, Meg Sawyer and Noah McCormick, share that kind of history and it’s clear that when she returns to town for her sister’s wedding that all those old feelings that they once felt for each other, but never admitted out loud, come rushing back…it also doesn’t hurt that Meg walks in on a very naked Noah and seizes the opportunity to have sex with a guy who hopefully won’t leave her feeling like their sexual experience was best described as potato salad.
Noah lives his life to protect and serve, not only as a police officer, but also as the man of the family, and he sees this role as all-important, so much so that he never truly thinks about what he wants and/or needs; it’s always about what everyone else needs and what he can do for them, which leaves him little time to even contemplate if he wants more than his life currently offers.
Because Meg is only visiting, the no-strings, non-relationship hook-ups she shares with Noah are fine by her, especially since her main focus and priority has always been her career, but when their insatiable desire for one another turns into something more, something Meg wouldn’t mind keeping, that’s when things get dicey and when crossing that ‘just friends’ line’ may be the end of everything they’ve shared.
I wasn’t surprised that Meg’s feelings for Noah grew exponentially after they were intimate, especially given the fact that he made her body light up with his more than stellar sexual prowess. Noah’s reasons for keeping everything light and easy with Meg, not making any promises or offering anything beyond a good time are more complex than I thought they would be and Melanie Harlow does a great job exploring those reasons and forcing Noah to face the truth.
Harlow’s Cloverleigh Farms series is all about family, friendship, and second chances, and Noah and Meg’s story definitely focuses on three while also creating some super sexy encounters as well as laughable and memory making moments.
4 Poison Apples
I woke up in the middle of the night to finish Insatiable. This book is the best of the Cloverleigh Farms series so far and I loved the first two! Noah McCormick is one of the town’s most eligible bachelors, or he would be if he was interested in getting married. His job is tough, and he knows the ugly truth of being a police officer. Meg Sawyer’s career is top priority. She’s so driven to do it right; she sacrifices many nights and weekends and doesn’t understand why her past relationships don’t work. The only real relationship is with the by that saved her life as a lifeguard seventeen years ago. Her best friend and confidant. But when she sees the man he has become coming out of the shower, she’s ready to throw the friendship they have and explore every inch of him.
Melanie Harlow is a talented writer and has proven it again in this latest story. Insatiable is witty, emotionally wrecking and hard to put down. If you love sibling banter, adorable children, babies and dogs, this book is for you. Oh yeah, and the delicious scenes this couple creates, will have you on fire.
How many ways can I say, “I LOVE MELANIE HARLOW’S BOOKS!” Like all of them. And this one is just the latest on my kindle. Friends to lovers is one of my favorite tropes. How does she make me giggle and cry a the same time? UGH. It’s magic. She (Melanie Harlow) is a wizard.
Noah and Meg have been friends for seventeen years, they’ve thought about each other for seventeen years, yet neither one has dared to take a step across the line. To leave friendship behind and taste the waters of friends-with-benefits; until now.
This friends-to-lovers romance had my heart in a twist as Noah battled to come to terms with his emotions and Meg searched for her dragon-slaying hero. They make a perfect couple but the road to happiness was not an easy path. The journey with these two made me believe in love, made me frustrated, but also made me believe in heroes.
INSATIABLE is book #3 in the Cloverleigh Farms Series by Melanie Harlow. Noah McCormick is the boy next door all grown up; and he grew up just fine. After years in the army, he is now the town’s most drool-worthy deputy. He is likely the most eligible bachelor too, but he isn’t signing up for that. Relationships, marriage, kids are not in the cards for him, no matter how many people try to convince him otherwise. Luckily, Meg, the girl he has fantasized about since the day he saved her life, is ok with his terms. What can it hurt?
Meg has been in love and denial with Noah since the day he saved her life. Accidentally walking in on him in the shower turns out to be the beginning of a new kind of friendship for Noah and Meg.
Insatiable is the type of story that you can envision as being real. The characters have real lives, real jobs, real troubles. They struggle with love and make mistakes. They have mom’s who care and give them grief. Melanie Harlow has written a story with characters you can relate to, become frustrated with, and cry with. I smiled, I swooned, and I cried (both tears of sadness and happiness). I fell in love with Noah and Meg and thoroughly enjoyed being back at Cloverleigh Farms with the Sawyer’s. There are still more sisters and more stories to tell. It’s a wonderful series and I can’t wait to see what is in store for the future.
This third standalone in the Cloverleigh is absolutely delicious! Emotional, sexy, it gets you in the feels.
Insatiable is another amazing story in the Cloverleigh Farms series. This friends-to-lovers is full of heart, heat, and amazing secondary relationships. This author is an all time favorite, and this story just continues to prove why.
Melanie Harlow did it again! She delivered an unbelievable fun, flirty and sweet story, with enough sexy bits to keep excited and a whole lot of romance. I adore her writing, and I enjoyed to be back in Cloverleigh Farm with the Sawyer sisters to see one of them fall in love… with her best friend.
Insatiable isn’t just a friends-to-lovers romance, this is a story about self-love, about family and putting your life and priorities together, is about friendship and changes, is about evolve as a person and find your own place in the world.
I adored Meg. She’s like the best ever! She’s such a fun sister and a great friend. In the story I saw how she fought her way out of a (demanding) life that wasn’t fulfilling anymore. I saw her reconsider her life choices and discover love. But also I saw a woman dreaming to find a hero just to realize she was a hero in her own right. Her own hero.
I loved Noah and his relationship with his family because I felt it real and I could related with him in so many ways, but I also loved how passionate he was, his sense of duty and friendship, and how he earned his HEA at the end.
I had a great time with this book and can’t wait what has Melanie under her sleeve for the next installment in the series.
Friends to lovers. This was such a cute read! I got sucked in and couldn’t stop reading. It totally tugs at my heart. My heart was aching so much for Noah and Meg. They’re the perfect couple. The chemistry was amazing.
Noah is a deputy and legit a family man. His love runs so deep for his family. Meg was a lawyer who recently just got dump again by her boyfriend. All she wanted was just someone who wants her enough to fight for her. Whenever they’re together, I couldn’t help but just swooned right and left.
Highly recommended!!! Love this series and I can’t get enough. I wonder whose story is next.
Friends to Lovers | Small Town Romance
Melanie Harlow has swept me off my feet with this series and I have fallen in love with each and every book. While this is the third in the Cloverleigh Farms series it can be read as a standalone. The books are interconnected (each book features a new sisters love story) but don’t contain enough to spoil the other books if you haven’t read them. As I say for every series though, I personally suggest reading them in order if you can. That way you can get a good idea as to the family, the characters, and Cloverleigh farms.
Insatiable is a friends-to-lovers romance. Noah and Meg have known each other ever since Noah rescued her from drowning when they were teenagers. While they have moved and lived their own lives apart from each other they have always kept in touch. So when Meg gets dumped by her boyfriend she decides it’s better to be surrounded by friends and family and goes back to Cloverleigh farms. Not only that, her little sister’s wedding is coming up so she feels like fate is telling her it’s time to go home!
When she get’s there, the first person she’s truly excited to see is her friend Noah. He’s the sheriff and has grown into a gorgeous man. Keeping her eyes off him is a bit of a struggle, but because they are so close it’s easy to fall back into their friendship (despite the possible feelings of longing when she looks at them).
Noah may feel the same way but he’s pretty firm on his stance that he can never fall in love and has no intention on starting a relationship with ANYONE, even his best friend who has grown on him in more ways than one when she came back. So what happens when sparks fly? Will Noah chance his ways and finally learn to love despite his reluctance? Will Meg ever feel as if she is worth the fight? You’ll have to read this irresistible story to find out!
Melanie Harlow is a wonderful storyteller and I have been excited for each and every one of her releases since I started this series. I hope she’ll end up giving us another book because there is one sister left who may need their own story… I guess I’ll have to wait and find out! Aside from that, I feel like her writing is so beautiful that I need to go back and start her books from the beginning! I can’t wait to see what else she brings to the table.
If you’re looking for a new book to read I highly recommend this one! It’s lighthearted read, with a little drama and angst towards the end, but an all around gorgeous love story.
This is the 3rd book in this series and each one just gets better and better.
Meg has returned home after a break up, she needs to be around those she loves and her best friend Noah is there for her too. Their friendship has survived so much over the years. There has always been an underlying vibe between them, the possibility of more, but now for the first time they are both very single. What harm would a FWB situation cause??
Soon as I started this I was captivated. Melanie did a great job with this one, she delivered a great tale of friendship mixed with steam and some angst. I don’t want to say too much and spoil your enjoyment of this delicious read.
Another great read from Melanie

Insatiable is a beautiful friends to lovers romance!!
I received this book for an honest review. Thank you.
Insatiable is the third book in the series Cloverleight Farms by Melanie Harlow and you can read this book as a standalone. This is my first book read by Melanie Harlow.
Insatiable is a beautiful friends to lovers romance. Meg and Noah know each other since Noah saved Meg’s life. They began a beautiful friendship that lasted twenty years. They trust each other and their friendship is important for them.
Meg is an independent woman who has a beautiful career but doesn’t have luck in love. After her boyfriend leaves her, Meg decided to take a vacation for a week to her hometown.
Noah is a good man with a heart of gold. He loves his family and he was always there for his family.
Noah always had feelings for Meg but he didn’t want to lose her so he decided to be only his friend and her protector.
When they meet again their chemistry was palpable and they couldn’t stay away from each other. I loved their relationship and their chemistry. Their love was strong enough to overcome any obstacle. I liked this book and the characters.
Two things I love, small town romance and friends to lovers. This one is both! It’s sweet, fun and sexy. Noah and Meg have been friends for years, now she’s back home for a week and they decide that for this week only to not fight the attraction they both have been harboring. Buy will one week be enough?
These two are fun. I loved how they always have each other’s back and how deep their friendship is. Their attraction to each sends sparks flying. I loved the story and this series is becoming one of my favorites. It’s definitely one to check out. A must read.

If ever there was a book to die for, it would have to be a hot and steamy friends to lovers read. Insatiable is exactly that, an incredible five plus star read. Words cannot begin to describe how much I loved this book. It has everything you could possibly want in a contemporary romance read:
Sexy as sin male lead
Strong female heroine
BFF goals
Jaw dropping defining moment
Off the charts chemistry and attraction
Angst filled moments coupled with heartwarming sweet moments
Such a great addition to the Cloverleigh Farm Series and a definite must read. Add this book to your TBR List now. (I read an ARC of this book and voluntarily left an honest review).
Wow! This is one friends-to-lovers story I could get behind. I was intrigued from the very beginning and wondering how these friends would go to lovers and beyond. Their connection is undeniable and you can feel their closeness. It’s been years worth of friendship that they’ve had and you get sucked into that and can’t help but root for them to take it further. I couldn’t put this down.
***5 Stars***
When this book was announced I was all kinds of excited to head back to Cloverleigh Farms and spend more time with the Sawyer clan, but I was also a bit pouty because I really, REALLY wanted it to be April’s book. That pouty-ness quickly disappeared as soon as I met Meg and Noah and became totally invested in their friends to lovers journey, which definitely took me on one hell of a ride that had me swooning, laughing and growling in frustration ~ but kept me turning the pages until there were no more words to read.
I loved Meg and Noah. Meg is sweet, sassy, compassionate and a huge workaholic, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it does have its drawbacks when it comes to her personal life. Noah is a good man who is all about looking out for his family, which is a wonderful thing, except when used as an excuse to keep people at arms length. As for their friends to lovers journey, I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed Meg and Noah together. It was easy to see how strong their friendship was, their bantering was a lot of fun, the smexy was HAWT (OMG, HAWT) and I loved how well they simply got each other. The big sink hole in their road wasn’t a surprise, though the way things went down was ~ I was totally #TeamMeg ~ but I liked how it all worked out for them in the end.
Even though this may not have been April’s book, as I had originally hoped it would be, it ended up being a great read and a good addition to the series. I loved catching up with Frannie, Chloe and April and FINALLY meeting Sylvia. Also, Noah’s family was awesome. I’m still crossing my toes that April’s book is next, but a couple of issues came to light in this one that have me curious to see how they play out. So, if you’re a fan of friends to lovers romances that take place in a small town then this a must click for you!

This was definitely better than the previous book in the series. I’m totally loving this one!! Noah and Meg are so good together!
Noah saved Meg once and he’s now her forever hero. Ever since then, they’ve become the best of friends. Noah had to leave for military two years after that, but they still remain friends.
For 17 years, Noah had harbored his feelings for Meg and now she’s back for her sister’s wedding and he’s so confused between what he wants and what he can’t have. Meg had just broke up with her boyfriend and it didn’t make her feel good. And by just being around Noah, she’s happy again. That’s why she made him an offer for the rest of the week she’s back at home. But can they come back from it again after that?
You’ll just have to read this one! Highly highly recommended!
Standalone: check
K-9 Cop Hero: double-check
Melanie Harlow: YES YES YES
Insatiable is HERE! Go check this hot new release out!

Meg and Noah’s book was full of so much heart, ups and downs, friendship and true love.
I wanted to smack Noah once and a while and encourage Meg but watching the story take shape, their relationship, awesome!
I adore all the secondary characters…so jealous that I have no sisters lol Such special relationships in this story!
Highly recommend
