I didn’t mean to see him naked–it was an accident. It had to be, right?Because Noah McCormick and I have never been anything more than friends. In all the years I’ve known him, he’s never once laid a finger on me. And even though he was a cute lifeguard at 16 and a hotter-than-hell sheriff’s deputy at 34, he’s always been that protective guy I could trust to keep his hands to himself. I never … I never wanted to mess with that.
Until I walked in on him getting out of the shower and saw his hard, muscular body totally bare and dripping wet. At that moment I never wanted to mess with anything so badly in my entire life.
I should have covered my eyes. Said I was sorry. At the very least, I could have handed him a towel.
After all, I was only in town for a few days, and he was just doing me a favor by escorting me to my sister’s wedding. It wasn’t a real date.
But I didn’t apologize. And he didn’t cover up.
(Talk about a hot mess.)
After all those years of being just friends, suddenly we’re insatiable.
He’s made it clear he’s not interested in romance. Which is fine with me because
I’ve got a plane ticket back to my real life at the end of the week.
It’s all in fun…or is it?

I might have a new Melanie Harlow’s favorite.
I’m so in love with this series. It’s sweet, funny, sexy and it brings so many great feelings.
This is a total “friends-to-lovers” story and it was written so beautifully. Meg and Noah are so connected to each other. Their loyalty and friendship always ran deep, but after beeing a few years only reaching out by phone, they don’t expect so much chemistry and so many sparks when they see each other again.
And what was supposed to be only an innocent friendship became so much more. Insatiable feelings they weren’t expecting took place and left their heads and hearts in a riot.
After years uncontiously letting a barrier between them, they start bringing it down brick by brick, kiss by kiss, and soon enough they are faced with a touch choice: letting the fears for the past take over or taking a leap of face into something that could either wreck them or be the best thing that ever happened to each one.
Their journey was somehow fast and it took its time all at the same time. It lasted almost two decades but changed its course in a matter of days. And so what great time they had.
It was so sexy, intense, hot, rough, but also sweet, comfortable and safe. And both of their families were so incredible, amazing and with very real problems to deal with, but also very real happiness to celebrate.
I loved every single thing about it.
After finishing Melanie’s books I always say these are my favorite characters. Each book gets better and better. Melanie’s stories are just so real and livable. You can feel the emotions, feel the love and heartache. She includes everyone. To people not always happy, problems in their marriage, to characters with disabilities. And she pinpoints things so well!
Noah and Meg has such a great interaction with each other. Their love and friendship is something everyone wants to have. I say this in every book, but I love them together. They complete each other.
I can’t wait to read about April and Sylvia!!
Insatiable is a really cute story by Melanie Harlow in the Cloverleigh Farms series following Noah and Meg’s story. Following Meg’s breakup of the lack-luster kind, she decides to go home to her family since it’s her sister’s wedding and also catch up with her long-time best friend Noah. But feelings seem to have changed and Meg sees more in Noah than she originally did and Noah is also having second thought about Meg too, especially since he seems to have liked her for a long time but not done anything about it.
Noah is definitely a swoon worthy character. He puts his family first, to the detriment of himself, doesn’t think he is boyfriend or long-term material due to being burned in the past and is somewhat a workaholic due to his job as a Sheriff. The same can be said for Meg, who is a total A personality, trying to be perfect all of the time and works ungodly hours so doesn’t put much into her relationships. The fact that they are best friends is quite ironic as they are both very different from each other.
There are some hilarious moments in this book as well as swoony, sexy times and some heartbreak, just to mix it all up. It is certainly and easy read and a really enjoyable book from first page to the last. Although, I have to say there were a few moments there where I wanted to smack Noah up in the head. Melanie Harlow has a way of writing characters that you feel you know to your core and are going through all their issues with them, rooting for them and sometimes rolling your eyes at how obtuse they can be at times.
Secondary characters from both families are hilarious and it was good to see that they also had their own drama and not everything was perfect. If you like feel-good romances, friends to lover romances with laughs, some sexy times and brilliant characters then this is the one for you!
ARC received for a fair and honest review.

I loved this book. It was wonderful seeing how perfect Noah and Sawyer were for each other. You knew immediately they belonged together but there was a major road block from keeping them together and get their HEA. I’m glad someone finally wised up.
I am so in love with this whole series and Meg and Noah’s story made me fall in love with it even more!
The friendship that Meg and Noah have is priceless and over the years it’s been what they have needed. No matter what time has passed, they can pick up right where they left off. You can see there is more, you can tell by the alternate POV’s that it’s more and it’s beautiful and heart wrenching to see it evolve.
I could empathize with Noah’s struggles. His guilt and his feelings of not being deserving of more. His love for his family is both a blessing and sometimes a curse.
Meg is such an amazing heroine. She is everything that Noah needs and more. Her loving, understanding and patient nature is what really drew me to her. Her bravery in pushing her own boundaries and Noah’s was fantastic and so swoony to read!
The chemistry between Noah and Meg was phenomenal and epically hot! There is no “potato salad” feelings here! (Read this story and you will know what I mean!)
It was also wonderful catching up with characters from the previous stories in this series! Don’t worry they don’t take away from Meg and Noah’s story, they just add more!
I cannot wait to read April and Sylvia’s stories in the future!! (I am crossing my fingers for more!) The Sawyer sisters rock!
Overall Grade: ++
As a romance reader, I tend to like most romance genres and tropes. Obviously, I have my favorites: enemies-to-lovers and forbidden. And I have some that I appreciate, but they sometimes leave me unsatisfied. The friends-to-lovers trope walks that fine line for me. It’s always strange that a man and woman who have been friends for years, even decades, would finally realize they have deeper feelings for each other beyond friendship. Yet, I know it happens, which makes this trope, one probably closest to real life.
Melanie Harlow’s Insatiable is this such story. Set in the Cloverleigh Farms world, Insatiable is the third book of this series. It follows the characters, Noah and Meg. Noah, a deputy sheriff, and Meg, a political strategist, have been friends since their teens. While they don’t spend every day in contact (Noah lives in their hometown in Michigan and Meg lives in DC), these two know that the other person is always available for them. There have been a few moments over the years where each was curious about a romantic connection with the other, but the priority of the friendship is more important. Meg returns home for her little sister’s wedding. She is somewhat disillusioned by life. She has recently broken up with a long-term boyfriend, her job has overwhelmed her life, and she’s searching for more, for a dragon slayer to fight for her. While in town for the wedding, she decides to meet up with Noah. Even though Noah has pushed his attraction to Meg into the recesses of his mind, it becomes more apparent this time. Likewise, Meg also feels a strong attraction to Noah. While Noah does feel connected to Meg, he makes it clear that he is not interested in a relationship. He believes his focus in life should be his family: his mother, his twin brother with cerebral palsy, and his sister. Given that Meg lives in DC, they agree to explore their intense attraction for the week that Meg is home. However, they agree that, after the week, they will return to their lives. Will Meg and Noah fall in love, or will this be strictly a “friends with benefits” arrangement for the week Meg is home?
Melanie Harlow’s Insatiable is equal parts sweet, sassy, and sensual. There is truly something for everyone in this story. Even if a reader isn’t a fan of the friends-to-lovers trope, there is more to this story beyond that trope. For one, Noah has created a life that is safe as a response to his guilt over his brother’s illness. He doesn’t believe he’s worthy of the benefits a marriage and children can bring him. He’s a good guy. He’s well-respected in the community; he’s compassionate and empathic; he takes wonderful care of this family; and he loves his dog, Renzo. Yet, he lives his life in denial, which makes his world very small. Similarly, Meg also struggles with creating a small world for herself. As a Type-A personality, she overworks. Her relationships fail because her need to be emotionally vulnerable in a relationship is difficult. She has a few friends in DC, but her job drives her life choices. Her hobbies are few, and she struggles to see more for herself. Both Meg and Noah as heroic types illustrate the need for us to break down our walls and allow ourselves to be vulnerable to love and all of its rewards. Harlow illustrates this through their storyline, obviously. But she makes these two characters, everyone. These are regular people struggling with the same issues that people like me or you struggle with each day. This story reads like my experience or your experience with some hot $exiness, some humor, and a wonderful happy ending. This book is meant to be a mirror to ourselves, I think.
I love the relationship between these two. Meg is honest and nurturing with Noah in ways that he fails to find in his past relationships. She accepts his life, and she offers him something that no one else has given him before: $exual experiences that match his needs. Honestly, Meg is THE best character in this book. She’s brave when Noah runs scared; she’s empathic when Noah needs an outlet for his anger; and she’s incredibly forgiving of Noah’s carelessness with her heart. On the other hand, while Noah is all the traits I noted in the paragraph above, he is ALSO the greatest source of frustration in this story. If you struggle with stubborn, short-sighted heroes, then you will NOT like Noah. It takes him much of the story to figure out his contradictions about his future. As a reader, that can be incredibly frustrating. However, it’s Harlow’s tool for the tension of this book. Without Noah, this book would be safe; it would be fairly vanilla. Instead, Noah is the impetus for both the $exiest and the most angsty parts of it. Honestly, he made my heart hurt for Meg and brought some tears to this reader’s eyes. That being said, he is also responsible for the swooniest moments too. Don’t give up on Noah. He will mend your heart in the end.
Finally, I think the true treasure of Harlow’s Insatiable is the return to Cloverleigh Farm. I have to admit that this is the first book I’ve read in the series. And once I’ve cleared my ARCs from my Kindle, I will be returning to the first two books in this series. I fell in love with the Sawyer women in this story. I love a story where women play front and center. It’s a very pro-woman book. Also, if you haven’t read a Melanie Harlow book before, please note that you can pick this book up today, read the story, and you would not have missed a thing. Harlow does a wonderful job of creating a romance that makes you fall for her Noah and Meg. Yes, I’d love to read Frannie’s story, along with Chloe’s story. However, missing their stories did not affect this story in the least. They merely added other opportunities to spend time in the idyllic world of Cloverleigh Farm.
What should you ultimately know about Melanie Harlow’s Insatiable? This is a rollercoaster of emotions. One minute, you will find yourself laughing with Noah and Meg as they banter back and forth with each other, an undercurrent of sexual innuendo shadowing it. The next minute, you’ll feel your blood pressure rise at their chemistry. And the next minute, you’ll grab for your tissue box as they struggle to find their future together. Yet, in the end, you’ll fall in love with this sweet, sexy, and sassy romance that seeks to show us that, regardless of our life situation, being loved is the only thing to make us truly feel whole.
The Sawyer sisters have become my favourite group of ladies, they just keep getting better and better.
Where ever they go embarrassment, lots of alcohol and laughing are sure to follow.

What do you do when you see a man naked, one you have listed over for years, one that has been a friend for a lifetime, one you never want to lose? What happens when he feels the same way?
Noah and Meg get all the bargained for and more that they ever dreamed in this friends turned lovers turned forever romance. There is so much laughter and family in this story, you will enjoy it immensely
I love visiting Cloverleigh Farms! Noah and Meg’s friendship will warm your heart and make you wish for that type of friendship with another soul, and watching them progress into more was so beautiful and fun.
I suck at words but believe me when I say you just need to take the plunge and dive into this series!

Noah is a deputy in his hometown, he’s done his best to make a life for himself. Meg decides to change how she lives her life after an unexpected change in her life. She is supposed to go home for a wedding but leaves early to get a change of scenery. She plans to meet up with Noah who she’s known for a long time ago. She’s always had a crush on him but assumes that he doesn’t see her that way. What will happen once she’s home? Does Noah feel the same way?
4.5 stars
Meg Sawyer is home for her sister Frannie’s wedding. She lives away in DC with a busy life as a work-a-holic lawyer/campaign strategist. She is newly single after another fizzled relationship and is ready to spend some time with her family and friends at Cloverleigh Farms. She is a type-A personality and perfectionist but also has a charitable and caring heart.
One particular old friend is Noah McCormick. He is a K9 cop and and they have always stayed in touch and been there for the other. He is very single and anti-relationship. He has his reasons, some are more obvious than others. He has always been protective, sweet, and open. And now he is hotter, sexier, and harder to resist.
They have always just been friends. But something is starting to simmer. Family is pushing the singletons together. Chemistry is awakening. And soon a move will be made that unleashes an insatiable need.
However, they make no promises and say it will just be for fun. But once it is over can they keep their friendship intact or is someone bound to get hurt?
This is a sweet, steamy, angsty, friends-to-lovers story. I loved that they had history, fun banter, and that they actually communicated. It was obvious that they had a strong bond and truly appreciated the other. Their chemistry was hot and they knew they were on borrowed time. But they both had some deep-seated issues that affected their view of relationships. I admired Meg’s ability to see potential and try to find solutions. As much as I liked Noah, I have to say that his stubbornness, resistance to relationships, and behavior frustrated me multiple times. His reasons were clearly defined, but it got old. I honestly wanted to shake sense into him (or swat him on the back of his head like his mama).
The side characters added more depth to the story. I enjoyed being back at Cloverleigh Farms and spending time with her wonderful sisters and family. But this story can be read as a stand-alone without reading her other sisters’ stories. I liked his family too, and I felt his brother Asher ,who has special needs, was a wonderful character. I am hoping we get more with her sisters, April and Sylvia in upcoming books.

Another great story in the Cloverleigh Farms Series! This is a friends-to-lover romance featuring Noah and Meg. I love friends-to-lovers! I love the history they have, the familiarity and with these two, I loved the sizzle! Loved the storyline and the characters and we got to visit with previous characters in this series. And that’s always a win for me! Loved it all!!! Can’t wait for the next book in this series!
There’s no question, when it comes to friends to lovers trope, Melanie Harlow has mastered this romantic sub-genre and I absolutely LOVE it!!
Need a little more detail before being convinced on reading Insatiable? No problem. Sexy, alpha, protective cop. Noah McCormick is enforcing the law on the streets, but he has no problem exerting control on the sheets.
Insatiable focuses on another Sawyer sister, Meg. After years of being away, coming home for Frannie’s wedding brings all the Sawyer sisters together under one roof. Life and responsibilities may have distanced the sisters, but as the wedding approaches, the sisters discover just how close they truly are. Seeing how these sisters bonded just made this story all the more endearing.
I loved Irresistible and I seriously didn’t think anyone can deliver it better than Mack. However, Noah and Meg did not shy away from the sexy times. It was sexy, and flirty, and heartfelt. Falling in love with these characters was easy. Now for the important question. Did Noah give Mack a run for his money? Let’s just say.. I wouldn’t mind being in close quarters with these two sexy as heck males. But find out for yourself. Because I highly recommend these series and cannot wait what’s in store for the other Sawyer sister.
I do love a friends to lovers story and this was the perfect balance of sweet, sexy and being swept of my feet. I just loved everything about Meg and Noah.
This is the third book in the series but can be read as a standalone. I’ve not read the other books and I’m intrigued by the sisters stories, that I will go back and read them.
Meg has returned home for her sisters wedding after being dumped by her boyfriend and is questioning why she sucks at relationships! When she’s home, she’s turns to her best friend, Noah, to catch up. She’s not seen Noah for a couple of years but he’s one of those friends that no matter time and distance things are the same.
They hang out quite a bit, but both Meg and Noah start to seeing something in each other that only builds and builds on the sexual tension between them until Meg decides to confess her feelings. This is all well until she walks in on him naked and damn the consequences, they can’t hold back anymore.
I loved Megs attitude, shes sassy and goes after what she wants. She isn’t afraid to voice her wants in her bedroom and Noah does not fail to deliver. They both agree that they can have the week together but that’s it. Noah is quite firm in this, not wanting a relationship due to his obligations and Meg lives at the other end of the country so sees no issues.
This is until feelings develop and Meg puts her heart on the line and makes some major decisions, hoping Noah feels the same.
Meg and Noah are perfect together and Harlow writes their carefree friendship to lovers story with ease. I was totally swept up in them and their romance and swooned major over Noah. He’s the perfect hero, ex-army, doting brother, the town’s deputy sheriff and loved by all. He’s my current book boyfriend and will take a lot to push him of the top slot! A great heartwarming and sexy read!
I can’t wait for Sylvia’s story!

Meg and Noah are hot, with a capital H! Harlow brings the heat in this friends-to-lovers story. I enjoyed getting to know Meg and Noah and watch how their relationship developed from friends for so many years to say more.
I loved catching up with old friends and relatives, including Mack and Frannie, getting to see a glimpse of their HEA playing out.
The blurb immediately caught my attention, and while it does describe the book, I thought the story would have started a little differently leading up to the point where the blurb starts. Other than that, another Harlow hit!
Insatiable was a fantastic read! Noah’s and Meg’s story was sweet, sexy, and fun. I enjoyed their easygoing friendship and the banter they would have. Their interactions were great-pleasant, hot, and entertaining-a perfect combination. I also enjoyed the family aspect from both Noah and Meg. It was endearing and loved the relationships they both had with their families. Melanie writes stories that readers can relate to with wonderful characters and a great storyline. Overall, Insatiable was a magnificent story. I’ve been enjoying the Cloverleigh Farms series and I’m excited for what’s to come next!
Melanie Harlow’s rom coms always make me feel so happy and I truly look forward to reading them. The previous books in the Cloverleigh Farms series are fantastic and Insatiable (Book #3) was no exception. It made my heart smile, gave me all the goodness and was an all around feel good romance.
I adore a good friends to lovers story and Noah and Meg were just so awesome. What started out as a fling between friends grew into so much more and I enjoyed every word. Their chemistry was out of this world, their sexy times were dirty and thigh clenching good. Insatiable’s storyline was consistent, engaging with an excellent balance of hysterical (I will never look at potato salad the same way again lol) and heartwarming moments. I seriously can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
Insatiable is the third book in the Cloverleigh Farms series. This story is about Meg Sawyer. She left home after school to live her life in a big town but was coming home to her sister’s wedding. She spends time with a life long friend, Noah who saved her life. He believes he should protect her. What happens when the lines get blurred? This is a great, hot, sexy friends to lovers story with all the feels. Get yours today!
Insatiable will give you all the feels and leave you with a book hang over! The chemistry between Noah and Meg is explosive! It started 17 years ago when he saved her life and it’s been building ever since. Neither one of them had been willing to admit their true feelings though. That is until Meg comes home for her sisters wedding and everything changes.
If you haven’t read any Melanie Harlow books yet, then you’re missing out. This was the first book of hers I read and am so glad to have a new author to explore. As it turns out Insatiable is part of a series. I wasn’t aware of this, however I never once felt confused or like I was missing anything. Of course now that I know there are 2 other books in the series I will be going back to read those as well.
This book held me from the Frist chapter. The story of Noah and Meg and there friendship to lovers was amazing. Meg has known Noah since he saved her life at 16 and has stay friends for years. When meg comes home for her sister wedding and is recovering from a brake up shes feeling a lonely. Noah is a cop and is single and likes it that way. But his family does not see it that way. When beers turn in to walks the high and breakfast noah and meg start a more the friendly fling till meg goes home. There journey in this story is amazing and I highly recommend this book to everyone who loves a great love story
