I didn’t mean to see him naked–it was an accident. It had to be, right?Because Noah McCormick and I have never been anything more than friends. In all the years I’ve known him, he’s never once laid a finger on me. And even though he was a cute lifeguard at 16 and a hotter-than-hell sheriff’s deputy at 34, he’s always been that protective guy I could trust to keep his hands to himself. I never … I never wanted to mess with that.
Until I walked in on him getting out of the shower and saw his hard, muscular body totally bare and dripping wet. At that moment I never wanted to mess with anything so badly in my entire life.
I should have covered my eyes. Said I was sorry. At the very least, I could have handed him a towel.
After all, I was only in town for a few days, and he was just doing me a favor by escorting me to my sister’s wedding. It wasn’t a real date.
But I didn’t apologize. And he didn’t cover up.
(Talk about a hot mess.)
After all those years of being just friends, suddenly we’re insatiable.
He’s made it clear he’s not interested in romance. Which is fine with me because
I’ve got a plane ticket back to my real life at the end of the week.
It’s all in fun…or is it?

Great romantic stand alone childhood best friends who turn into much more!
I always know, without a doubt, when I start a Harlow novel that I need to make sure sleep isn’t essential because once I start I just can’t put the book down.
Insatiable is absolute magic! Full of fabulous banter, volcanic level heat and a hero so sexy and swoon worthy he kicks all other book boyfriends off their pedestals.
Noah is the ultimate alpha hero, broody, sweet, sensitive and OH MY GOD the steam between the sheets is off the charts!
Insatiable is a complete standalone and should definitely be moved to the top of your TBR! I have dibs on Noah, though. He’s just too delicious for words.
A fantastic small town romance and a wonderful series!
I love Melanie Harlow’s beautiful writing—she just writes the kind of unputdownable, addictive stories that I simply can’t read fast enough and usually wind up inhaling in a day. I’m a relatively new reader of hers, but I am absolutely a fan of her richly emotional, captivating storytelling. Full of all the feels, her sweet, steamy romances and endearing characters come together into tender love stories that I never fail to get swept right up into.
The third book in the Cloverleigh Farms series, Insatiable was a heart-tugging, heat-filled friends-to-lovers, small town romance. Meg Sawyer and Noah McCormick have been friends since they were teenagers when Noah saved her from drowning. These two knew each other as well as they knew themselves, and I loved their witty, comfortable banter. A workaholic whose priority is her career as a political strategist in Washington DC, Meg is fresh out of another failed relationship and home at Cloverleigh for her sister’s wedding.
Meg has always been career-driven, but she’s beginning to feel like life is passing her by as she sees her dreams of becoming a wife and mother slip further away. For the first time in a very long time, though, Meg is truly happy, despite her recent break-up, and the contentment she feels at being home, with her family and Noah, isn’t lost on her. Noah, a sheriff’s deputy in their hometown, has deep roots in this community. Noah is very devoted to his family, especially to his special needs twin brother, Asher, and he stepped right into the void left by the passing of his father, the much beloved town sheriff. His relationship track record isn’t exactly stellar either, and part of it has to do with the only commitment he is willing to make—to remain unmarried and childless.
For Noah, it’s always been Meg Sawyer. He never let himself go there, though, choosing the role of her friend and protector instead. Meg wrongly assumed that Noah didn’t have the same feelings for her that she felt for him, so she contented herself with him as one of her closest friends and her personal hero. But things are different this visit home, and it seems that the heat always simmering between them burns a little hotter. So when the opportunity presents itself, they decide to give in to their attraction with the understanding that it would be a one-time-thing since Meg was headed back to her life in DC at the end of the week.
Insatiable by Melanie Harlow was a great addition to this fantastic family-based, small town romance series. Intensely emotional and passionate, at times bittersweet and a bit angsty, Meg and Noah’s hard-earned happily-ever-after was all the more rewarding for the struggles they endured and the love they found on the other side of them. Insatiable by Melanie Harlow gets 5 smooches from me!

I’m going to have a hard time deciding which Sawyer girl has the best story when I’m done with this series. Another winner.
Side Note: Inclusion. Thank you Melanie for writing a physically handicapped side character (and making him part of the story).
NO SPOILERS!
There is truly nothing better than a Melanie Harlow romance! Her sweet, sexy, heartfelt, and swoon-worthy love stories get me every single time, and I can never get enough of the amazing and addicting storylines and characters she creates.
I’ve read over a dozen romances from Melanie, and Insatiable has by far been my FAVORITE novel from her to date, as well as my favorite standalone in the Cloverleigh Farms series so far. Noah and Meg were beyond amazing, and their story completely stole my heart. I simply adored them and all of the secondary characters, and I was ecstatic with the conclusion. It was absolutely perfect and made me so incredibly happy.
Insatiable was a sexy and swoon-worthy MUST READ standalone contemporary romance in the Cloverleigh Farms series, and I can’t wait to see what magic Melanie Harlow creates with her next release!

~~ 4.5 BREATHTAKING STARS! ~~
Every book that the marvelously talented Melanie Harlow pens always sweeps me off my feet, and INSATIABLE, book three in her Cloverleigh Farms series, is no exception! This scorchingly sexy and uber swoony friends to lovers story about a noble-hearted lawman and the lovely girl who stole his heart was absolutely delicious!
THE PREMISE:
Meg Sawyer and Noah McCormick have been childhood best friends ever since he rescued her from drowning when they were teenagers. But they’d never crossed the line into anything more. All that changes when Meg comes home to Cloverleigh Farms for her sister’s wedding–and to lick her wounds after her latest boyfriend dumped her. Seeing Noah again is like a balm to the pretty legal eagle’s soul—he’s morphed from a cute lifeguard to a hot AH sheriff’s deputy, and she’s grateful when he agrees to escort her to Frannie’s nuptials.
The secret attraction that had always flickered between Meg and Noah reaches a blazing inferno when she catches him in the buff after a shower, and in the blink of an eye these two succumb to a red-hot temporary love affair. But then real, intense feelings rise to the surface between these two lifelong best buds, complicating matters in a major way! Trouble is, Noah is a commitment-phobic confirmed bachelor who has vowed to never give his heart away, but as it turns out, letting this girl go is far from easy. Especially when she makes it perfectly clear that she would love to have forever in his arms! What’s a handsome, love-challenged lawman to do? Gotta read to find out but prepare for fireworks and warm fuzzy feels galore!
MY MUSINGS:
With INSATIABLE, Melanie Harlow proves once again why she is one of my all-time favorite contemporary romance scribes. She always delivers an uber addictive love story that’s an intoxicating blend of panty melting hotness, lighthearted joie de vivre and swoony bliss, yet does not shy away from the drama or angst or the raw palpable emotion that flows between the characters. From start to finish, this tantalizing, tender-hearted tale was brimming with heat, heart, humor….and heart-stopping romance!
One of the main reasons I love the friends to lovers trope is because there’s such a strong built-in history between the MCs, and in Noah and Meg’s case, their soul-deep connection truly STRUCK A CHORD!
Sighhh…what can I say about Noah except this sinfully gorgeous K-9 cop just melted me from page one! I mean sure with his rugged sexy facial scruff, rippling muscles, and pure, potent masculinity, his physical attributes are PLENTIFUL. But even more importantly, I loved this this gruff yet gentle-natured man’s heart, his strong family values, and his ferocious protective streak. Oh and he’s GREAT with kids and animals too!
Only tiny character flaw? He’s got a rotten attitude regarding love (i.e. he doesn’t believe in it). With his dangerous, high pressure job and all his family obligations, he does not have the time to invest in a relationship anyway, and even if he could, he carries an enormous weight on his impossibly broad shoulders that makes him feel undeserving of happiness. And on top of all that, since Meg’s his bff she’s OFF LIMITS! The last thing this ex-military hero EVER wants to do is to hurt her but darn it if this girl still manages to breach his defenses… and inflame his libido! This broody man in blue’s journey throughout the book as he wages an inner war made my chest ache yet when he finally comes to his senses, oh did my soul rejoice!
As for Meg, Ms. Harlow crafted another beautiful and sweet, smart and bubbly heroine that you CANNOT HELP BUT LOVE! I adored her feisty spirit, her kind, compassionate nature and her air of aching vulnerability that she tries to hide behind her sunny smiles. She’s got a kickass job as a top-notch attorney but has always been an over-achiever and her focus on her career has come at the expense of her love life. Plus, she has an awful romantic track record and also struggles with feelings of insecurity and unworthiness but there’s something about Noah that sorely temps her to take a leap of faith! Can she convince him that their love is worth fighting for?
The author truly gives us an endearing romance that RESONATES and I fell head over heels in love with Noah and Meg right from the start. Their witty banter was infectious, and holy moly the sizzling sexual tension and smoldering erotic interludes were so wild and passionate, I nearly had to call 9-1-1! Speaking of which… let me just say that Noah made very good use of those handcuffs—and inspired some kinkylicious fantasies of my own!
Another one of this author’s true gifts is the manner in which she weaves friends and family into the fabric of her storylines. I adored the camaraderie between the Sawyer sisters—it was fun to get updates on Frannie and Chloe’s romances, and their parents were awesome too! But the true highlight for me was Noah’s fierce devotion to his disabled twin brother, Asher. Gah! The special bond between those two slayed me and Ms. Harlow’s sensitive depiction into the plight of a character afflicted with cerebral palsy as well as the trials and tribulations, triumphs and challenges of caring for a disabled family member is to be applauded!
While I think the romantic resolution WAS a bit rushed, and that Meg should have made Noah grovel a bit more before taking him back after the way he crushed her heart, when all was said and done, I was ultimately overjoyed with the HEA!
BOTTOM LINE:
If you are looking for a steamy, heartwarming and emotionally charged page-turner that will leave you all melty inside, then INSATIABLE is guaranteed to please! I have treasured each and every book in the Cloverleigh Farms series thus far and can’t wait for April and Sylvia’s books!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Insatiable is the newest stand-alone story in the Cloverleigh Farms Series by Melanie Harlow. The Cloverleigh Farms Series picks right up where book 3 of the One and Only Series left off, and I was so excited to see each sister get her own story too!
Melanie’s writing is always so unique and I always appreciate the way she builds a backstory and history throughout her works. Her characters from previous novels always come back to visit throughout. All our other faves from Cloverleigh Farms all make an appearance in this book.
The main character, Meg, is an independent woman who is career driven and focused on her role as an attorney in DC. The story begins with her returning to be with her family for her sister Frannie’s wedding. She recently split from her lackluster partner of three years and is in need of a pick-me-up. Who better than her closest childhood friend, and one-that-got-away to do the job?!
Enter Noah, Meg’s childhood friend, whom she’s always had a connection with never been romantically attached to. Noah has kept Meg firmly in the friend-zone all their lives, but finds it harder and harder to resist her when she returns to town and confesses to always wondering what-if they had been more.
The two have been attracted to each other for some time but are convinced that the other doesn’t feel the same. The story takes us back and forth in time, reliving the heartbreaking twists that pushed them apart in years past. The question is whether Noah can overcome the guilt of his past and present that lead him to believe he isn’t worthy of marriage and a family. It also didn’t hurt that he was a hot, no nonsense K9 cop!
Melanie Harlow is always successful at writing true to life character’s with real flaws and fears and weaving a story that endears them to you. Meg and Noah’s story was breathtaking and I loved watching these characters develop. As a reader, I always appreciate how Melanie wraps her tales in such a way that satisfies my curiosity about what happens next for the characters.
I loved this story and I would highly recommend it. Can’t wait to read the rest of the series!
Insatiable is a swoonworthy friends to lovers romance from Melanie Harlow, and a stellar part of the sexy and emotional Cloverleigh series.
Noah and Meg’s story has all the heartwarming moments that I’ve come to love in Ms. Harlow’s books. They’ve always been there for each other, a solid friendship that never crossed any romantic lines. That doesn’t mean there weren’t a few “what if…” moments over the years, but their lives complicated and Noah has made a personal choice that could tear their relationship apart.
There’s a wonderful unexpected element here too… It’s a side story involving Noah’s brother that added another emotional depth to this book. So well done and thoughtful.
I’m thoroughly enjoying this series, and can’t wait to read more!
Small town, friends to lovers, cop hero…and it’s funny? I don’t think there are any boxes left to check with this one. Start reading!
Melanie absolutely blew me away with this emotional, friends-to-lovers, small town romance. I couldn’t put it down!

Insatiable, new standalone title on the Cloverleaf Farms series, is out now!
Melanie Harlow is an author that can get me hooked from the very beginning of the story. I love small town romance and this series is wonderful!
I’m beyond thrilled to be returning back to Cloverleigh Farms and catch up with the Sawyer sisters. Fans of Melanie Harlow will be thrilled to meet our latest beau, Noah McCormick, in this fantastic friends to lovers addition to the series.
The super sexy K9 cop had me swooning all over the place. He had just the right amount of arrogance to make him alluring, and I’m sure Meg can assure us he had the skills to back it up. I loved Meg & Noah’s history together; no matter what, they always remained close friends. The chemistry had been there, simmering under the surface for so many years, and it was just so explosive when they finally decided to act on it.
I’m also beyond thrilled that all the sisters were back together on the farm to celebrate Frannie & Mack’s wedding. Getting to see glimpses into their happily ever after just makes me so happy! I’ve loved each installment of this series and cannot get enough of the Sawyer Family!
Love Melanie’s work!
Insatiable book three in the Cloverleigh Farm series from Melanie Harlow was a win just like the previous two in this series. Noah and Meg were equally cute, funny and HOT!!
Meg is coming home to Cloverleigh Farms for her youngest sister Frannie’s wedding but after her boyfriend of three years dumps her suddenly, she decides to come home a bit sooner to spend time with family and catch up with her best friend Noah. Meg and Noah became instant friends after he saved her life more than 15 years ago but now what used to be just friendship is turning into serious attraction. Meg is not looking for a relationship since she will only be in town one week and she just got dumped. What better way to pass the time then spend it with her best friend and maybe let off some steam while doing it? Now, if only she keeps those pesky feelings at bay that long she just might come out of this with her friendship intact even if her heart is broken.
Noah has been single for 3 years, but he has no problem with that. He is not looking for another relationship EVER. He just wants to take care of this family especially his twin brother with disabilities. Meg has been his best friend for a couple decades now and while they don’t talk often, they can always pick up where they started off as if no time has passed. After a frantic Meg calls him drunk off wine and Twinkies one night Noah can’t help but think what could have happened with them in the past. Now though, there is no point because he will never be in another relationship. When Meg shows up to town earlier than expected Noah is unable to keep his eyes off the beautiful girl he grew up with. Now taking Meg to bed and giving her the one thing, he can give her is what he can do. Noah can’t keep his mind of Meg however, after only three days he starts to wonder what if? What if he could have her? No, that will never work.
While both Meg and Noah know that what they are starting can possibly lead to disaster they are OK with taking things as they come for the week they have together. As Meg and Noah’s friends with benefits situation start to turn to more Meg wants to move home to give it a real shot and Noah immediately shuts her down. Love is unexpected, beautiful and can turn tragic in an instant. Can these two make it when Noah is unwilling to let go of his past and what he thought his future would be?
GAH I LOVED THIS BOOK!! Frannie’s book Irresistible was still my favorite but his one had so much that hers didn’t because of the type of story it was. I really needed a happy book, and this was exactly it. I know when I go to Cloverleigh Farms I am in for so much more than I bargained for in the best way.
