Trouble is her middle name…Life in a small town is comfortable, but living with her loving and overprotective family means it lacks adventure. And forget romance with two interfering army brothers around. It’s time to leave the cozy nest. Her grandiose plans come to a grinding halt when she becomes innocently involved with a crime boss, then she bumps heads and lips with her uncle’s sexy but … with her uncle’s sexy but very bossy neighbor.
Special Air Services soldier Nikolai Tarei owes his neighbor a favor, but looking out for his twenty-two-year-old niece is stretching friendship too far. She’s a virgin and her sex appeal, sassiness and brazen disregard for safety have Nikolai scrambling to protect both her and his battered heart.
Summer is a librarian who’s a whiz at research. Now she’s ready to try out the sex toys and sexual positions she’s researched. The woman is tying Nikolai in sensual knots and driving him crazy—in and out of bed. But he’s enjoying the journey, and suddenly he’s thinking about making his Summer babysitting assignment a full-time commitment—if only he can persuade her to see things his way.
Warning: Contains an alpha army hero intent on offering protection and a virgin, BBW heroine craving action and adventure. Mix and see the hot sparks fly!

Wonderfully fantastic… The book was amazing… It had a lot of details and juicy scenes to it… The characters and their personalities match them perfectly… The plot and the storyline was very descriptive and amazing…
Wowsa! This is one action-packed romance!
I adored this romance between Summer and Nikolai!
Summer has been the sick one in the family with her asthma and now that she’s got it fairly controlled, she is ready to get out there and live her life. However, Summer has the weirdest luck and now she’s in danger over a mixed up book order. Nikolai is a widower who isn’t looking for a relationship because he doesn’t think he is good with them. But he promised Summer’s uncle, Henry, to watch over her while he is away on his honeymoon. Watch over her… not get involved with her.

Summer works as a librarian and when she gets the chance to go out of town for some training she jumps at it. Her family is overprotective of her and she wants some freedom. However her uncle is siding with her family and has asked his friend to watch over her while he is gone. Nicholai doesn’t want to be a babysitter but he owes his friend and reluctantly agrees. Sparks fly between him and Summer and he tries to keep away from her but when she brings trouble to her doorstep he knows he has to help. Summer doesn’t know what’s going on that someone is after her. When she sees that the package she got isn’t her books she returns it to the original owner and starts seeing Dare. Dare isn’t a good man and Summer learns pretty quick that he is up to something. Will Nik be able to keep her safe?

I have this book with the box set which includes the first three books, so I took the opportunity to read further into the series. Summer is spreading her wings or she was trying until things went wonky. The hot neighbor next door wants to put restrictions on her that she was trying to get away from with her family. What was an innocent date may have just led to happenings that put her babysitter at risk. This book has sass, attraction, intrigue and so much fun to read again.

Summer was staying at her uncle’s house while doing a course at the library. When he went on his honeymoon, he asked his neighbour Nikolai to keep an eye on her as it was her first time away from home. Not only were Summer’s two brothers bossy and overprotective, but so was Nik. Summer gets herself into a world of trouble and needs Nik’s help to keep her safe. I loved the banter between these two and Summer’s sexual awakening in Nik’s more than capable hands. Very highly recommended as a book to thoroughly enjoy.
Finding what you are looking for…
Summer was looking for adventure in her life. What she found was trouble and Nikolai. Nikolai was trying to do a favor for his neighbor by keeping an eye on the neighbors niece. He definitely was expecting Summer. These two were wonderful together. Looking forward to the next book in the series.
I enjoyed this fun, steamy and sweet romance. I liked both characters. Nikolai carried some pretty heavy baggage. It was easy to feel sympathy for him and I really wanted him to let go of the past and find some happiness. Summer, was a split decision for me. I really liked her determination and her feistiness. She was only twenty-two, innocent and overprotected but I really wanted her to be savvier. I mean she was a librarian and supposedly a master researcher. So even without street smarts I did not expect her to be totally clueless.
Fun and sassy.
Summer is twenty two and doing a stint at the library. She’s sure of herself and sassy.
She does not want a babysitter. Yet her uncle Henry ask his military buddy Nikolai Tarei to watch out for her.
Nikolai doesn’t want to be a babysitter. He’s injured and put off marriage, older and experienced.
A boss (his underlings lost his notebook on revenge) is out for a book that Summer has, and Nikolai has to protect her.
Fun and steam.

Summer is a librarian and goes to her Uncle’s for extra classes for six months. Her uncle is leaving for his honeymoon and asks his neighbor Nik to keep an eye on her. Nik is a hunky SAS agent on medical leave. He was married before and doesn’t think he deserves a relationship. But Summer doesn’t want a babysitter, she’s had enough of that at home and wants to live a little. Summer accidentally gets the wrong books and takes them to the owner Dare, a restaurant owner with suspect activities. He asks her out and she goes out with him. Which makes Nik jealous. Then someone breaks into the house, runs her off the road, plants drugs in the house, and Nik tries to keep her safe but she has a rebellious streak. She decides to investigate Dare herself and gets Nik kidnapped and her, her brothers, and Nik’s team must go in and rescue him. Can Nik get over his past and have a future with Summer? Funny, very sexy, suspenseful and action. The only thing that drove me crazy was the repeated use of the phrase “ big, bad SAS man.”
Kind of cute
I have mixed feelings about this book. The story is good, but the characters are over the top. Summer is always talking about being an adult then acts like a teenager. There are too many “macho” men for my taste. Alpha males are okay, macho isn’t. I usually like books by this author but I can’t say this is one of my favorites.
