A Cupcakes-And-Crime Caper“I tell myself every day that I don’t hate my job… But there’s a reason I’m trying to leave the madness of the casino pit to become a Private Investigator.”“Winters will have you giggling into your book!”Cupcake-loving croupier Tiffany Black is determined to leave her job at the casino for good. She’s one small step away from acquiring her Private Investigator license, … one small step away from acquiring her Private Investigator license, and has her eye on the prize.
Accepting her first real case – investigating the murder of casino-mogul Ethan Becker – should be exciting. Instead, things spiral out of control and Tiffany finds herself in over her head, as she confronts secretive suspects, corrupt casino henchmen and a bodyguard with a mysterious past.
Tiffany’s poker-hustling Nanna and pushy parents want her to find a nice man and settle down, but Tiffany just wants to track down the real murderer before he finds her first…

Too much like Stephanie Plum
Cute book
Likeable characters and a witty mystery make for an enjoyable read!
Seems to be written via a formula. Predictable.
A mad dash around Vegas and lots of threatening characters. It’s an easy read, but nobody with any sense would get their selves in the kind of trouble the heroine does. However, it kept my interest!
This is a fun read
I enjoyed this book and was sad when it ended. I found it an enjoyable read the story line flowed and kept me wanting to keep reading to find out what happened next. I would recommend this book you won’t be disappointed.
Enjoyed it so much I ordered the next book in the series.
Chick lit meets mystery and it works!
It was a quick read. I liked it, but wasn’t wowed
Liked the clever writing of cupcake-girl to PI!!!
A quick easy read
Amature Sleuth was witty and often found herself funny situations.
Fun
This was a cute funny story. I just couldn’t get past the multiple similarities between this character and the Janet Evanovich Stephanie Plum series. The main characters are both are single and inexperienced in being a PI, both have a wacky grandma, both have moms who are dying for them to find a man and get married, and both have a strong …
This story moves along well and presents a mystery with plenty of twists in just over 200 pages. The suspense is light, and the story doesn’t focus on police procedures–which suits me perfectly. I learned a little about casinos, too. I’m glad there are more books in this series!
Enjoyable book!
Just finished reading Innocent in Las Vegas by A.R. Winters, it was a great read. Funny, entertaining. Loved the characters Tiffany Black, Nana, Stone, even Mom & Dad. For anyone who wants a good story, what I call a “Popcorn read” cause it is just liking eating popcorn, you just can’t stop! I’ve already purchased the next 2 books in the series, …
A dumpy, chocolate loving (almost) private eye is the main character. Wow! It only gets better and more inventive. Great story.
a simple pleasure…cupcake lovers will be big fans.
