Montgomery Ink: Fort Collins Book 1The Montgomery Ink saga from NYT Bestselling Author Carrie Ann Ryan continues with a steamy new series. Years ago, Annabelle Montgomery married not for love but for a promise of hope. When she lost him weeks later, she told herself she never needed those sentiments again. Only when she discovers years later that her new neighbor is her late husband’s brother, … husband’s brother, Annabelle finds she can’t quite shake the emotions she’s long since buried.
Jacob Queen vowed he’d never set eyes on Annabelle again. When they’re forced into each other’s lives once more, they realize that no matter how far they run, no distance can keep them apart forever. More than ghosts lay between them, and when they finally give in to temptation, walking away whole may no longer be an option.

INKED PERSUASION by Carrie Ann Ryan. Well, Ms. Ryan has proved to me that I can love the enemies to lovers trope. This has never been my favorite but this story rocked my boat! Ms. Ryan creates characters that worm their way into the reader’s heart and never leave and Jacob and Annabelle have done just that to me. Their journey isn’t an easy one, with some twists and turns, and some unexpected bumps, but I never rooted for a couple more. This start to the series is an awesome one and I look forward to the future tales to come. (received ARC for honest review)
Already in love with the new series! Annabelle and Jacob have a history that unfortunately is filled with a misunderstanding that cause Jacob to hate Annabelle in the beginning. He has come home to care for his ailing mother. But when his family fills him in, things start to change. The journey from hate to love is a beautiful story!
This is the first story in the new series, Montgomery’s in Fort Collins.
Annabelle Montgomery cannot believe who moves in next door to her, none other than Jacob. Jacob has not treated her well in the past as he believes she did not treat his brother well during their marriage. But things aren’t always as they appear and he learns that the hard way.
This was such a good story, enemies to lovers is a favorite trope of mine. I loved how their relationship grew, they are a couple you definitely pulled for. There was very heated drama that I won’t go into as not spoil the story, but I was certainly holding my breath as I turned page after page to find out the outcome. Make sure you get your copy and get ready because once you begin, you won’t want to put it down!
5 stars
The start to this newest Montgomery Ink crew is located in Fort Collins. Annabelle has been through a lot in her life, most notably being a young wife, and young widow. That is how she crosses paths with Jacob Queen, brother to her late husband and son of the parents she still considers family. These two get off on the wrong foot, mostly thanks to Jacob and his inability to deal with the past, and fully understand what happened. As these two decide they need to get along, for his parents’ sake, they cannot deny the attraction that is between them. Lines are crossed and eventually blur. While these two are fighting their feelings, family issues will make your heart ache and dangers they never expected are hiding in plain sight. The ending of this book sets up the next in the series, and it is intense! This family is another fantastic group with brothers and sisters that will keep you entertained, twisted up and wanting more from the Fort Collins branch of the Montgomery family!

Annabelle will have many new things to learn. She thinks she has already had alot but she will get her core pierced. These are the kinds you want to read because as the characters come to life before you it takes you with them filling you the reader. Jacob is about to learn why you do not say never. As the two slowly inch towards each other by a force they can not fight we are flipping the pages on this new delight.
Inked Persuasion is the latest and greatest by Carrie Ann Ryan. This story kicks off the Fort Collins spinoff series. It’s not often that I shed actual tears while reading a story but this book brought out all the feels. I adored Annabelle and Jacob. Ms. Ryan brings her characters to life and this story was absolutely amazing! I can’t wait to see what’s in store for us next.
Inked Persuasion is the first book in the Montgomery Ink: Fort Collins series. This is Annabelle Montgomery and her ex brother in law Jacob Queen’s story. Fate intervenes when Jacob and Annabelle move next to each other. There is a lot of baggage between them, but could their ever be more? This is a great start to an all new spin off series!
Oh my!!!!
I want to give this book a hundred stars!!! I love all the Montgomery’s, but something about these new ones just grabbed a hold of me. There’s so much pain and drama and it seems like it’s all just under the surface waiting to break free. But then there’s so much emotion and love and family.
One promise at a time is the most any of us can do for those we love.
I fell in love with this Family when Carrie first released in the Anthology of Midnight Ink. It has continued to intrigue and draw in all the best feelings and getting to know everyone who is a part of this family and those that enter crashing these wonderful men and women right in the very heart that beats for each and every Montgomery Relation. I could not help but fall in love with Jacob and Annabelle. Both struggling with pasts that seem to have one goal, striking when they least expect it and forcing them to really look at each other with new eyes and see that all they every really were running from was each other. Taking a step back and pondering what each has had to go through and really both still dealing with and then taking those feelings, working through all the baggage that each carries is trying not only on each of their hearts but is going to bring BIG changes to both of their worlds. This literally will crash into you. Carrie is one of my favorite authors and she has NEVER disappointed with her delivery yet! She has the ability to bring characters to life that will grab you and will hold on long AFTER you put this book back on the shelf only to revisit it because that is what Miss Ryan does! She captures you and ensnares you with her writing. When you read this you will want to go and check out ALL the Montgomerys. I promise you. You will be satisfied, filled with a exuberantly abundance of love.
I received an ARC copy and I am leaving a honest voluntary review!
So much fun to meet a new Montgomery Family!
We get to meet all fo the Fort Collins Montgomery’s and find out about the past between Annabelle & Jacob Queen, her “husband’s” brother.
Very interesting past between these two and of course a misunderstanding(s).
Thankfully Jacob overcomes his misconceptions & Annabelle & Jacob can enjoy an HEA.
Can’t wait for more Fort Collins Montgomery’s!
If you’re looking for all the heat and all the feels, then do not miss this enemies/neighbors to lovers romance. Carrie Ann Ryan delivers both in this heart-stopping love story.
I love getting to meet the Fort Collins side of the Montgomery family. This is Annabelle’s story of love, loss, friendship and trying to move forward in her life when someone unexpected moves in next door.
Jacob wasn’t sure he could ever forgive Annabelle for what happened with his brother and what Jacob feels Annabelle did.
It takes time and tears for these two to realize that there is more than either one of them understand or know about what happened all those years ago.
