The Montgomery Ink series by NYT Bestselling Author Carrie Ann Ryan continues when the final Denver Montgomery sibling refuses to fall for his brother’s former flame—the company’s new plumber.Wes Montgomery watched his entire family fall in love, and now finds himself ready to settle down. Except the one person he seems to find chemistry with is not only his twin’s ex, she also works for … twin’s ex, she also works for Montgomery Inc. But when the two find themselves in one compromising situation after another, Wes realizes he’s having second thoughts about the dynamic woman who’s burst her way into his life. Sure she sets off his temper, but she also makes him hot in every other way possible.
Jillian Reid never loved her best friend like everyone thought she should, so she pushed him away so he could have his future. Now, despite fighting it, she finds herself attracted to the one man she shouldn’t. When her father’s health takes a turn for the worse, and a danger no one saw coming show its face, she’s forced to turn to Wes for help. The two of them have fought off their attraction long enough, and each cave to the desire. But this enemies-to-lovers tale might have an ending no one ever dreamed of.

Excellent held my attention from beginning to end.
What an incredible end to the initial Montgomery Ink series. Thankfully Carrie Ann is doing spin off- Colorado Springs because I can never get enough the Montgomery Ink crew!!!!
And that’s a wrap for the Denver siblings. Love this entire series. I’m glad Wes got his HEA with Jillian. Although some may feel weird about her being the brother’ ex, it was written so well that you just go with it. Actually made for some funny moments.
Loved the series I was hoping Jake and Maya would get married to each other since they had been long time friends.
As sad as I am to know that the Denver Montgomerys series is over, I’m glad Wes finally got his HEA. That he found that HEA with Jillian just makes me happier. Jillian is such an amazing character. She was so supportive of Storm and Everly, it was definitely time for her to find happiness. At times, my heart hurt for her, and for everything she had to go through to get to the point of acceptance.
The relationship between Jillian and Wes was at times comical, and at other times caustic. Wes’s initial reluctance and confusion led to situations that made me LOL. There were times that I wasn’t sure they were going to be able to move forward, but as always, they found a way.
As with all of the books in this series, family, loyalty and love play a huge part. And be prepared for some surprises, that come out of nowhere! It was an amazing ending to a facinating series, and I’m eagerly awaiting the next chapter in the Montgomery Family Saga!
Love the entire Inked series.
I just love this series. I don’t have the whole series yet but can’t wait till I do. Can’t read this series fast enough.
Loved the family relationship
I need to start off with the chemistry between Wes and Jillian because let me tell you, these two really know how to steam up the sheets. The air around them was combustible whenever they were together, my only question is: Why hadn’t they noticed it when Jillian was Storm’s friend-with-benefits? The only thing they had for one another during that time was dislike and animosity.
This story had me at the edge of my seat, not only did we get to see Wes and Jillian become more than boss and employee but we also have a bit of a mystery on our hands with the newest job site Montgomery Inc is working on, there are many mysterious things going on but they cannot figure out why they are happening.
Carrie Ann Ryan does a beautiful job with Jillian’s relationship with her father, a single dad raising his daughter with no female influences cannot be easy especially during her teenage years but you can tell that they have not only love and affection for one another but there is also pride and respect. I thought it was great that she followed in her fathers footsteps and became a master plumber because it’s not normally a position you see women in.
I have enjoyed this series and I’m sad to see it come to an end but the good news is that we have been introduced to a whole slew of other Montgomery’s and we will be visiting the Montgomery Ink: Colorado Springs family next with the first book Fallen Ink due out in April 2018.
**I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book**
Another amazing book by Carrie Ann Ryan! Wes & Jillian’s Story is filled with a special kind of romance of going from enemies to lovers. It was so enthralling to watch these two finally stop fighting their obvious attraction for each other and unleash the passion they kept holding back. This series will completely submerge readers into a world they will never want to leave! I really recommend this series to everyone. The Montgomery series brings with it a unique romance in every book that will completely captivate your heart.
The last of the Denver Montgomerys is ready to fall in love. That doesn’t mean that he will willingly accept who fate throws his way. New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Carrie Ann Ryan continues her Montgomery Ink series with Inked Memories.
Wes Montgomery has watched as his entire family found love and now he is ready to settle down himself. Too bad the only woman who sparks any kind of interest from him is totally off limits. Jillian is not only an employee at Montgomery Inc., but his twin’s ex. They argue nonstop and continually find themselves in compromising situations that test his resolve and cause him to rethink his plan to stay away.
Jillian Reid never loved Storm the way she should have, no matter what everyone thought. Now she finds herself attracted to his brother when she knows that she shouldn’t be. Storm wasn’t the right one for her and Wes can’t possibly be either. But her father’s declining health and an unexpected danger force her to seek out his help. They fight their attraction to one another until they can’t any longer.
OMG! These two together is perfection. I know that Jillian was with Storm first, but you cannot find a better fit for Wes. All their fighting and jabs at each other turn into some super steamy love scenes. Wes and Jillian’s story is fun, sexy and emotional. They walk that thin line between love and hate, and it is absolutely amazing how passionate their feelings are toward one another.
It is always sad to see the end of beloved characters and/or series, but Carrie has done an amazing job and couldn’t have ended with a better couple. Although, it’s not really the end as there will be the Colorado Springs Montgomerys and I’m sure we will revisit the Denver crew from time to time. FIVE stars for the end of the Denver Montgomerys, now on to the next branch!
Ink Inspired is easily the sexiest, steamiest book that I have read by author Carrie Ann Ryan. I waited on this book to POP into my kindle with baited breath on Halloween morning very, very early…. in Fact the Montgomery family is one of those families that I always plan my reading schedule around the “opening day” or in this case the closing day. This is the last book in the branch of the Montgomery Ink or INC family but of course this is not the last we’ll hear of them. This crazy and loving bunch of folks always ends up in other series of books along the way.
So let me share a little ’bout Wes and Jillian’s story In case you have been living in a cave and have not read any of the other Montgomery Ink books Wes (Wesley)is a twin to Storm. Storm and Jillian used to be “bed buddies” but nothing more. When Storm found his happy ending in book 7 to Everly, Jillian became Storm’s best friend. Wes on the other hand well… Hang on let me back up here. I left out on very important thing to those who might not follow the books. Jillian is a plumber and a good one at that. She works for Montgomery Inc (the building side of the family business). Wes and Storm also work for this side of the family business. So, they all work for and in the same business. Yep, close together side by side…well not always side by side as they do remodels and rebuilds all over the place. But you get my drift.
So, there seems to be this tension below the surface with Wes and Jillian whenever they are together. What exactly is it? The tension that is there is not just them though and that is what makes this book so good for me. This book doesn’t just focus on romance is a sexy sense but it also gives us a mystery and one that is hidden and written into the storyline in a really good way. It would sneak in and strike out in at times and make me JUMP.
I would be remiss if I did not tell you to be sure to have your tissues on hand when reading this book. There are times I cried myself silly. Especially knowing history that went on behind the scenes. This book will always have an extra special place in my heart. It is a book that is well written and so worth the read as a romance, mystery even and yes of course within the place of the Montgomery Ink legacy.
Awesome hot read!
