I hadn’t read the other books in this series, but I had no problem following the story of Storm and Everly. They’re not a standard romance couple–she’s a single mom with twins and he’s a little older than the average hero and trains helper dogs. The Montgomerys are a big, loud, atypical family who will steal your heart.
I love a true friends to lovers, where there were no feelings before and then suddenly -poof! This was one of those books that did that perfectly. How I missed this book when reading this series, I have no idea, but I am so glad I got caught up because CLAY!!!!! But, this was Storm and Everley’s story, and they were an even match. Their story had tragic moments, caring moments, steamy moments, and aww moments. It comes with a puppy and twin toddlers, so that was a given. While Everley’s need for independence made me not like her more than once, she always won me back when her actions after those moments. Storm and Wes broke my heart at time but then they made it all better again. I loved this story, and I loved these characters <3
This is Storm’s book, and boy did it go from 0-100 in a few pages. Everly is the widow of Storm’s best friend. For three years Everly has learned how to be a signal mother, but she never knew differently, since her husband died before the twins were born. Storm helps her in whatever way he can. I was not expecting this book. The secrets! OMG. I don’t want to give them away because it was just sooooo good. I loved Ellie and how she was so independent in the face of everything thrown at her. Storm is a Montgomery so of course he is great was amazing. I am so glad that this series don’t end with the original Montgomerys because I don’t think. I will ever get enough.
I am not sure what has taken me so long to read this author. This is the third book I have read and loved it. She writes characters I can care about. This Montgomery family is full of wonderful caring characters. I loved the intricate story line. I was shocked and surprised more than once. I even laughed a few times as well as had a smile on my face. The writing is very smooth. The characters are complex. The men are protective and the women are independent. It’s a combination that works well. I will be checking out more from this author.
I did listen to this on audio. Gregory Salinas does a wonderful job narrating. He really adds to this story.
I just started reading this author. I like her books that I went on a reading bring.
love…love…love the Montgomery’s!!
The Montgomery family HEA just keep getting better. Storm and Everly are connected by his best friend—her deceased husband. His been around helping and being the man in her life for the last three years. Suddenly it changes. Seven have fallen and there is one left.
Storm and Everly’s romance was a sweet read. Everly’s boys were cute and I enjoyed the variety of Montgomery’s on hand to help out where needed. The weak link to the story was the drama with Rachel. Storm and Everly didn’t need to justify why they were together when Everly had been widowed for so long and they’re getting together made Rachel’s part feel…superfluous.
Love the Montgomery Ink series, the characters are so interesting. Just want to continue with each book to see how everything finishes.
Storm is a man with secrets. Everly is a woman whose life isn’t what she thinks it is. Both Storm and Everly have been fighting an attraction that they didn’t realize was there. Secrets are revealed, some of which attempt to ruin the life they are trying to build together.
I love Everly and Storm! She is amazing and handles everything that is thrown at her with grace and strength. Storm is so supportive of her, and stands beside her no matter what. I love how supportive and accepting this family is, and it just gets better with each book. It seems like they have a limitless supply of love and compassion for anyone they meet.
I’ve loved each of the Montgomery Ink books, but Everly and Storm just seem so real, that I can’t help but love them. Each book seems to be better than the last, and their world pulls you in right from the beginning.
All the Montgomery Ink books are so much fun to read. They leave you wanting another book right now!
All of the inked books were romantic while at times tore your heart out. You don’t want to put the book down until your finished and then want another one To continue the story right away. I hope there’s more to come. Great book
Storm & Everly’s beautiful story did take me by surprise. It felt like secrets you didn’t even think possible were coming to life in every chapter. What I loved the most about this Montgomery book was its unique love story. You have Everly who lost her husband and has been raising their twins on her own for years with help from Storm. Storm just happens to be her husband’s best friend and has vowed to watch over Everly and her boys. These were two people who probably shouldn’t have fallen in love but ended up doing just that. This story will tug at the heartstrings with all the shock, tragedy, love and of course a smoking hot chemistry. Once again another great addition to the Montgomery series and I can’t wait to get my hands on Wes’ story!
I Love, love, love this book!!!! I didn’t put the book down until I was finished!!! Just the right amount of steamy parts! WOW!!! I am definitely reading all of the books in the Series!
I’ve enjoyed all the “Ink” books and I always anxiously await for each new one.
Loved Storms story. Great story line. Can’t wait for Wes and Jillian”s story. Definitely worth reading this series.
Inked Expressions is Storm Montgomery and Everly (Ev) Law’s story and of course don’t forget her two adorable twins. In case you have not read any of the prior books, (let me just say you really should read they they are awesome) E’s husband was Storm’s best friend has passed on. That is all I can say on that. BUT I will say the storyline that Carrie Ann Ryan gives us about this topic is so good. It had me reading and re-reading it. She shocked and surprised me at every turn in this book.
I had always wondered why Storm Montgomery was either quite or a bit of a loner. In this book we find out why. And the reason why is such a shocker. Oh man oh man poor Storm. It is so good the Montgomery family is so amazing.
Ms Ryan writes with so much life that the Montgomerys are now part of the reader’s families as well. There is only one more book in this part of the Montgomery family left for us to read and then we will have to move on to another branch to stalk. If you have not read the Montgomery and Gallagher Brothers books I highly recommend them.
