Animal. Pet. Dog. Freak. Entertainment. That’s all I’ll ever be to those outside of Carnaval des Ténèbres. So I perform for them. I fetch, roll over, and stay. I fulfill their demented need to see me as an animal, as something beneath them. But underneath the hair, I’m just a man. A human being with human needs and emotions. Now I’m trapped in a cage. He’s taken me away from the only family I’ve …
He’s taken me away from the only family I’ve ever known and if I ever want to see them again, I need to play the part.
I’ll be his pet.
I’ll play his games.
I’ll be the best damn show dog in the world.
I just pray I still have my humanity when it’s all over.

This book had an abundance of twists and turns that kept me on my toes. It was a very unique story that had emotional scenes, as well as some definitely creepy ones. It was the kind of book that was tough to put down as I was constantly wondering what would/could happen next.

Inhuman Behavior by Faith Ryan book 4 in the Carnaval des Tenebres series and what a fantastic addition to this series!!! I don’t know how she is going to top this one. Because this series starts off with a bang. Glued to what I was reading and I must admit this is not for the faint of heart but what a wild ride we are taken on. I never know what is going to happen in Faith Ryan’s stories and I LOVE IT.
THIS:
Animal. Pet. Dog. Freak.
Entertainment.
I have no words because that is just the tip of the iceberg so to say for this story. Circus creature who just wants people to see he is human. Yet has a real animal side. A man who wants a pet for his wife. Yet can’t keep his eyes off him. When these two worlds collide by chance or kidnapping explosiveness happens.
Mrs. Ryan definitely knows how to weave a story that has every element you would expect from her.
Wren and Uri story is dark and twisted and absolutely fantastic to read. It will pull you in and keep you on the edge of seat when all the secrets are revealed. An amazing read that will keep you coming back for more of her books.
Carnival are known for their freaks, and Wren is no different he’s known as Dog boy, but deep down all the really wants is to be treated like a real person, after all he is, he’s just really hairy.
One night Wren caught the eye of Uri and Wren cannot be more interested in the sexy man who pays attention to him and not just because he looks like freak, URI decides that he must have him no matter what.
Uri and Wren friendship starts out rocky, especially once he finds out he’s ment as a gift for URI’s wife but as time goes on Wren seems to becoming more fond of Uri and vice versa, they start down a road the will change everything and Wren starts to realize what he wants and doesn’t matter the consequences.
Faith Ryan delivered a dark and demented tale. It was superb and hit all the right notes. I loved every minute of reading it.
The characters… wow. I have no words for what she created with them and I fell in love, even when I knew I shouldn’t. The world-building is vivid, it pulled me right in, even when I wish it didn’t because the author knows how to pull off some perfectly cringe-worthy scenes!
Faith Ryan’s twisted story had me guessing throughout it and grabbed my feelings immediately. I wanted more, I needed more, and throughout it, she exceeded every bit of that urgent feeling.
5 stars for a perfectly twisted and dark read!
could not put this down, the emotion and feelings from Wren known as the dog boy was super intense all he wants is to be know as a man and it breaks you and you just want to help him as he performs as the freak.
I wasn’t sure about Uri when he is captivated by Wren he was a strange one and unpredictable and kept me glued to the story.
The relationship they developed was unique both yearning for touch and respect and I truly felt it all. I Loved It.
Twisted yet intriguing.
Every time Faith produces a new book, I am enamored with what type of storyline she will mysteriously give us. It’s like a magic hat… full of surprises!
”Can you be a good pup and just feel for me?”
I had an inkling of what Inhuman Behavior would be about, however, Faith blew me away with this concoction. Wren and Uri were interesting in their unique selves but throw in the other elements… wow!
Because I had only read this book of the bundle and other characters from other books were showcased briefly, It looks like I need to go and read the other novels. Way to go Faith! You are mastering the twisted plots girlfriend!
