Couldn’t get to page 100. Totally sucked. At least up to one hundred pages that is.
This has got to be the most brilliant author now writing. If you like Science and you like Fiction you’ll love his books!
It was different in that my knowledge of artificial intelligence is limited. Gave me info and was thought provoking for my limited knowledge of subject
Though provoking. Good read.
i really enjoy these types of stories
By his book will not hold your interest
Keeps one thinking, and well written and solid research as always by Author.
I loved this book. Made me think about all the things being worked on today.
Really, really good plot with well-fleshed characters; I had a hard time putting this book down to go to sleep. The arguments for and against AI were compelling. The author raised questions I’d never stopped to think about, and that alone makes it worth the read. My only disappointment was that the end became preachy, and it went on far too long. I believe it could have been handled more efficiently and believably.
Was pleasantly surprised
hokey
Thought-provoking and entertaining read.
This is a book that I highly recommend. Not just because of the fact that it is well-written, and a great page-turner, but because there is a serious need to raise the consciousness of the public to some of the dangers we are facing in the very near future.
The “story” was pretty good, but the science fact/fiction/information was simply awesome. Anyone interested in AI at all should read this!
What a great way to introduce us to the future of computers, internet as well as what the future of all electronics may be about. Some of this stuff is eyeopening and terribly frightening. Thanks you for the gift of “Infinity Born”.
I’ve read everything Richards has written and am anxiously awaiting his next one! He knows whereof he speaks and speaks in an entertaining and very readable voice.
His books are packed with the latest science, and his ventures into sci-fi are just a bit ahead of what’s actually out there….as explained in his delightfully detailed bibliographies. I have some of the references on order at the library.
As a retiree from legal research, I’m in awe of his documentation, making his flights of fancy infinitely more believable. It’s so refreshing to read a scientist with syntax!
Keep it up, Douglas, knowing you’re appreciated and anticipated!!!
A big fan, Wanda Carroll
I loved it and the prophesy they mentioned in the book.. (as Einstein said,) “Spooky things at a distance.” Great characters that I would like to see in the next book. For all you AI people out there, Infinity Born is a must read!!

Thought provoking. I hope there’s a sequel.
Slow and “way out there somewhere.”
