New York Times Bestseller Corinne Michaels brings you the conclusion in this emotional second chance love story.Book 2 of 2 in the Indefinite DuetI was right. I never should’ve fallen back in love with Quinn. I always knew we wouldn’t make it. And to make matters worse, not only did I lose my soulmate—I lost myself as well. Everything was stripped away, leaving me bare and unable to breathe. No … leaving me bare and unable to breathe. No one told me it could hurt this much. I was unprepared for this level of agony from the horrible weight of grief.
I planned to love him infinitely. But what is infinity, when love always ends?

My favorite book by Corinne Michaels!
And one of the best books I’ve ever read, that is for sure.
This is the second book in Ashton and Quinn’s duet. I was a wreck when I finished Indefinite, but somehow in a good way, and Infinite was able to put me back together, break me again, amend my heart and fill it.
Even being partially right about my assumptions for what was happening, Corinne still managed to surprise me in such a higher way. With everything that happened and the mistery around Quinn, I was ready to be mad at “someone” and put all the blame on them, but then I was speechless, because it was way deeper that I expected.
I can’t say more than that, or I’ll give spoiler, but it the answer to that question was so beautifully painful and profound. Only this author could make feel for someone I was supposed to hate.
And what should I say about Quinn and Ashton? I thought I have favorites already about her books, but these two absolutely stole my heart, and I don’t want it back.
“I was always told that loving someone made you weak, and they were wrong, sweetheart. So wrong. I wasn’t weak because of loving you, I was strong and determined, even when I felt beaten. You were what made me live”
There were so many intense dialogues and discussions, and not only between them, but also involving the secondary characters, who were so fundamental to this story.
I was hooked, breathless, aching the whole time. I watched the discussions come to life right in front of me, and the arguments were so strong, so right, I was rooting for everyone all at the same time.
It was heart-wrenching, poignant, exquisite and I felt as if I had a full balloon inside my chest.
“Don’t pull away. I’ll give you the breath you need to warm you. I’ll do whatever it takes, just let me. Let me be your heart”
My heart was filled with pain and sorrow and grief and hope and love. I wanted to hug Ashton and Quinn, I wanted to carry their burden. Their depression was so wonderfully and sensitively written, it was raw and real and I couldn’t help but believe in it and feel it too.
They faced such a hard way out of that painful fog. But can you blame them?
“‘I’m not strong enough’
‘I’m strong enough for the both of us, Ashton. I won’t let you fall apart'”
Ashton and Quinn lived the unbearable. They had so many events to alter the course of their lives it wasn’t even funny.
Life is unpredictable and they had to learn that the hard way.
“I’ll give her the world if she’ll give me her heart”
After so many hits from life, they are both struglling having to learn how to live again from scratch.
They are free falling in sorrow and depression, barely coping and hardly surviving. I guess you could say they had each other, but even that you couldn’t say for sure.
The pain was so deep and rooted it made it even harder to simply breathe.
“The ground seems so far away, and I’m weightless, but before I have time to fear the fall, Quinn is right there to catch me”
But the beautiful thing is that even with all their pain, they still had real love. They couldn’t even love themselves, but they loved each other. They were consumed by grief and ache, but their hearts were still beating for one another, even against their will and better judgement.
“I don’t know how to stop loving you, Quinn. I don’t know how to make my heart not beat for you. You’re the only man I want in my life, and I can’t bear the thought of not being with you”
They were sorrow and fight. They were pain and love. They were grief and hope. They were each other’s safe nest. They were past and future.
They were inifinite.
“I’m not going to give you the choice because there’s nothing I won’t do to make us work. I’ll be the fight when you have none. I’ll be the strength when you think there’s nothing left. I’ll love you enough when you can’t love yourself (…) we’re infinite”
Their path was one of the hardest ones to go through. Their journey was full of bumps and stones. They had to learn how to jump the wholes, get up after a major fall, get help when needed, offer a hand even being broken.
They also learned how to find love in the darkness, how to honor the past whilst embracing the future, how to let go of the pain without abandoning the memories.
After all, they had the infinite to keep building their story and so many new memories to create.
They’d got everything they needed and infinite time to enjoy it.
“‘Do you feel like you finally got everything you wanted?’
‘I got that when I got you, this is more. So much more'”
The conclusion of Quinn and Ashton’s Rollercoaster Romance.
It’s been one Hell of journey. This Duet has left me speechless ( stop laughing I know it’s hard to do) this did it.
The hardest part is what you can say which isn’t much. NO SPOILERS!
You’re diving in where you left off in Indefinite and well… I had to prepare sorry but yes alcohol was required.
Now that I’m mentally ready holy hell…IT IS ON FROM PAGE ONE. no holding back with this one. I have feelings oh I have lots of them…and they are all over. I WANT THEM, I think at moments I could speak in tongues the level of emotion I hit. Once I thought I would come to terms with these feelings nope. It was a constant state of WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN. There are moments oh some moments that just hit you and you just can’t help but feel so deeply, laugh and cry all within a paragraph of each other.
DId I mention the cameos from some of our favorite Salvation Series favorites? Oh yes we get them again. If you haven’t read the others ( YOU SHOULD) but you don’t have to. As we come to the end of this INCREDIBLE STORY .I am so sad to see this end. I am so in love with this book. The Connection I feel to these characters is borderline obsessive (it’s okay just go with it) I want to make you read it. I know I won’t have to because IT IS THAT GOOD. The best book yet.
I love a book that gives me all the feels. I have said this many times before. Infinite did exactly that. Took me on a rollercoaster ride of emotions that I often had to press pause because I just couldn’t feel anything else, it was too overwhelming. My heart was pounding, the tears were flowing and I loved every second of it.
Putting the book down a few times was a necessity. Ashton and Quinn’s story was a journey that was hard to watch but also so beautiful at times. Watching these two grow as a couple and individually was a trek that was beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time.
This is a duet and reading Indefinite is a must. Grab your tissues, pour some wine and go for an emotional ride that only Corinne Michaels is capable of giving us.
4 Infinite Stars! A great yet emotional conclusion to Quinn and Ashton’s duet. This beautifully written storyline involves a tough subject matter and is done well. A healing read that gives hope that love will prevail and become stronger through struggle and chaos. A definite must read in this series!
4.5 Infinite stars! Oh my lord all I can say is I hope you have lots of tissues because boy are you going to need them! This was a complete roller coaster ride but I couldn’t put it down! Finished it in one sitting!
WOW! This is probably the most raw, emotional book of Corinne’s I’ve read. It is POWERFUL….This is the second of the duet, a continuation of the Salvation Series and an incredibly heart wrenching book.
No Spoilers…Ok, Ashton and Quinn are meant to be. Things happened in Indefinite, book 1, that you hope and pray will be easily resolved in book 2. But this is Corinne and nothing can happen that easily . It is well worth a few hours of your time, a box of Kleenex and some liquid sustenance to read this duet.
Omg this book was absolutely heartbreaking, gut wrenching, tragic, and beautifully breathtaking. Quinn and Ashton are so perfect for each other in their messed up way. It was such a touching story that forced me to take a mental break from reading it because I felt so connected to these characters and was emotionally exhausted. I don’t think I’ve ever cried this much from a book. So sad to see it end but glad we got to revisit the boys. FYI: The epilogue was epic!
OK, so I don’t do crying…but I did! Fantastic conclusion to this duet!
This book blew me away! It’s been several days since I read it but still has left me floored! Literally you are right there in the moment. ALL. THE. FEELS! Gutted. Very few books have left me speechless, like this one has! Definitely one of the best books I’ve read this year! #flovedit!
Infinite is the conclusion to The Indefinite Duet, and Corinne Michaels, evil genius that she is, left readers off on one heck of a cliffhanger in the first book of this duet, Indefinite. Michaels is known for her emotionally fraught, hard fought romances, and she delivered that, and so much more, in this duet.
I’m not going to say a lot about the story or the plot because I think readers need to go into the second half of it without knowing any more than they did at the end of Indefinite. I’ll just say that the first half of the story lays the groundwork for a gripping, riveting, intense conclusion in Infinite. My emotions were all over the place, and I ached, I sobbed, and I railed at all these characters endured. I was a mess reading most of this book, and I couldn’t put it down. Michaels dragged me right into the story with her captivating, enthralling writing, and she managed to both exhaust and exhilarate me emotionally.
This is the kind of story Corinne Michaels was meant to tell. Her ability to give voice to these difficult, painful journeys to happily ever after is unique to her. She runs her readers through the emotional wringer, shredding them right along with her characters, before she pieces those shreds back together in a way that makes all the pain part of the pleasure. The conclusion to The Indefinite Duet, Infinite, was an unforgettable, incredible story about the power of love, and Michaels told it painstakingly, precisely and perfectly. Five smooches from me!

CORINNE MICHAELS BEST DUET
Infinite is the conclusion to Ashton and Quinn’s ultimate relationship. Infinite picks up right after Indefinite and let me tell you from the start of this book you are holding on to your seat with your heart in your throat.
Corinne Michaels outdid herself with so much emotion from page 1 to the end of the epilogue. You laugh, you cry even bawl as you experience each and every up and down with them. You feel your heart being ripped from you chest only to have it mended and put back in. You feel like you are part of this most amazing story.
Love how Corinne brings back all the wonderful characters from the Salvation Series. I cannot love this series anymore then I already do!!
It’s been a true emotional rollercoaster ride and this is the second book in the duet series; the story of Quinn and Ashton continues after a heartbreaking ending of the first book. I hope I don’t spoil it too much with this review but I just gotta say that the thing Quinn and Ashton have to go through is just so devastating and happens more in real life than we think. A definite must read!
Ashton has to deal with some devastating news and the world seems to be crumbling down around her. When something happens that will shake up the team, Quinn doesn’t even know what to do anymore. Everything seems be getting worse by the minute and they can’t seem to catch a break. When life takes a turn and they’re trying to keep afloat, Ashton will make a decision that will change their future… But will it be enough?… And will they get their happy ending after all?…
What a ride we went on to get the conclusion to the Salvation series. In typical Corinne fashion, we went on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. We left off in Indefinite with a huge cliffhanger that left some people angry, while others were prepared, what’s a duet without a cliffhanger? We jump back into the book right where the other left off and the ride just beginnings. If you were watching my goodreads status updates as I progressed through the book you would have seen I spent a good chunk of the book yelling and screaming at Ashton. What a twit she is! I wanted to jump into the book and just shake her on several occasions. The first three quarters of the book were spent screaming at Ashton and crying ugly tears for everything that was going on. It’s amazing how invested we get with these characters, they feel like they are my friends, and I’m sad the story is over for good, there are no new characters to write stories about.
I got about 80% through the book before I figured out how the book was going to end and my thoughts were correct! You read and fall in love with authors and their characters and you are able to pick up on what’s going to happen in the end. It doesn’t ruin the surprise in the end because you get to read how what you thought was going to happen play out and that’s always where the surprise is. I absolutely loved this book and it was a perfect way to end the end the Salvation series, even though my heart was ripped out of my chest several times while reading it. Another 5+ star read.
*4 Stars*
ARC kindly received in exchange for an honest review.
After the cliff hanger in the first book of this duet, I knew I just had to find out what was going to happen with Ashton and Quinn. And let me tell you, the punches keep coming right from the start of this one.
Ash is dealing with so many things at once, and then once we get to Quinn’s part of the story from our previous cliffy, he of course, is dealing with plenty as well.
This book deals with the concepts of grief, the question of whether love is enough to get you through, and in general just shows many different coping mechanisms that people can go through in their life under various circumstances.
I was really pulling for Quinn in this one, because I could see how hard he was trying. By the end, things come together nicely, and are really dealt with and approached with great character growth and maturity. I really wanted these guys to get their HEA, and it’s definitely not an easy road for them.
I liked how there was no childish behaviour in this, just realistic representations of what a situation like Ashton and Quinn’s can bring. There were so many emotions in this one, many a time I found a stray tear rolling down my cheek.
A great, albeit not easy read, and I would definitely recommend this duet. I look forward to more from this author in the future.
5 stars just doesn’t do Infinite justice! It deserves all the stars!! EVERY. SINGLE. ONE!!!
No one can put me through the emotional ringer quite like Michaels can. With every stroke of her key board she is sure to leave you gasping for air, eyes filled with tears and heartbreak shredding your soul apart. Michaels has this pure talent of transporting a reader into the story, as if you are living the events right alongside the characters.
Her words leap off the page and burrow themselves so deep that it leaves you in the biggest book funk ever. Indefinite and Infinite are by far Corinne’s best work to date. And to me that is saying a lot as I didn’t think the Consolation duet could ever be topped.
There was one particular scene that really hit me hard. I had this movie reel playing in my mind, the character’s emotions were so tangible I felt as if I was a bystander witnessing every detail. I legit had tears streaming down my face as quiet sobs racked my body. My heart still hasn’t recovered.
Michaels writes such strong leading ladies that you want to emulate. Ashton is the kind of person you would want your daughter to grow up to be. She is strong, self assured and radiates confidence yet she’s also vulnerable and flawed.
Corinne Michaels far surpassed any expectations I ever had of this duet!
The Emotional Roller Coaster Continues! Ashley @ Carolina Chic’s Read
The story is going to pick right up where the last left off with tears and the unexpected twist. Ashton & Quinn takes the emotional ride you expect with Corrine! Can these two take the horror that they have gone through and come out on the other side together? You have to read to find out if I tell you any more I might spoil it all!!! The best end to this series!
GET THE TISSUES READY…
Phew! This one had my heart pounding the entire time. Infinite is Book 2 of Quinn and Ashton’s story, and it is necessary to read Book 1 of this duet. Quinn and Ashton’s story is heart wrenching. I found myself wondering if they could ever climb out of the abyss they’d descended into, but the beautiful, heartwarming ending more than made up for all the angst.
A must read, especially for fans of the all the other books in The Salvation Series, which I highly recommend be read in order.
Warning: keep the tissues handy for this one.
Audio Review from August 2019
These two are both hardheaded and stubborn and the world threw the book at them.
They split up and find their way back to each other so many times because they are just meant to be. Lots of heartbreak they endured and worked through to find their way through the dark tunnel.
The epilogue and bonus chapter had me in tears of joy and saying “awww” out-loud at work and not caring lol
Narrators you see are Jason Clarke and Andi Ardnt. One is a rising star and one is a mega star. They fit so perfectly then voices of these characters.
Infinite is all about love and pain and rebuilding. You need to read Indefinite first then this fantastic story. The emotions jump out at you. If I could give these two books ten stars I would.
Indefinite is a suspenseful and captivating conclusion to the Indefinite Duet. This romance is powerfully moving, beautifully inspiring, emotionally raw, and breathtakingly romantic. An unforgettable masterpiece delivered with so much heart and soul that I fell deeper in love with the characters and their journey with each turn of the page. Quinn and Ashton are beautiful together I was rooting for them. The storyline is incredibly well-written and was a rollercoaster of emotions. I laughed, cried so many tears (happy and sad), felt the butterflies, the heart palpitations, every ounce of pain and all the joy. The heartfelt moments stole my breath and the heartbreaking ones shattered my heart. Oh, and those swoon-worthy moments – absolutely breathtaking! A powerful and poignant story of that I didn’t want to end. The unconditional love and support of family and friends is beyond words. The wisdom interlaced throughout was inspiring. I absolutely loved every second of this epic love story and have a new all-time favorite. I highly recommend reading this book as well as the other books in the Salvation series!!!
