Read this years ago… it’s a great story and an intense and complex read. I preferred Angels and Demons and The Da Vinci Code; however, this is a very close third as the concept of Dante and the fiery gates of hell are also quite good. Dan Brown doesn’t let you down and you should definitely keep reading this series — especially with the movie …
Another Dan Brown page turner. This is so, so much better than the film but no match for the Da Vinci Code.
The book has all Dan Brown’s twists and turns and crash course in history. The story is atmospheric and full of cunning deviousness. The man really knows how to grip his readers. But he set the bar so high with The Da Vinci Code that this …
Ending of the book much better and more provocative than the movie.
A great read!
The best of his books.
Just ok. Not up to Dan Brown’s usual talent.
Just not up to par for this auther
All Dan Brown’s books are unpredictable, action packed, and thoroughly entertaining. This is no exception!
I feel like Inferno was at least one book too far in the series, honestly. It has a very tried and true pace, etc., but I just felt like it was a little too much re-hash. Maybe Professor Langdon needs a break (or we from him).
I loved Inferno and the character Robert Langdon and the way he works out what is going on and the twists and turns going here and there, to discover the truth. It’s action-packed with a merciless killer on the loose. Besides the wonderful characters, I love the use of symbology and esoteric knowledge. I like the unpredictable events in the story …
For this #FictionFriday review, we’re talking about Dan Brown’s novel about the continuing adventures of Robert Langdon in Inferno. With this being the fourth installment in a series I’ve been reading, I was anxious to sink my teeth in. I actually picked up the hardback copy at a liquidation sale at a library on a college campus near where I live. …
Loved the book and couldn’t put it down!
This was a real page turner. I love all the book s by Dan Brown, but this one, Angels and Demons and Deception Point are my favorites.
I couldn’t put if down! I think it could do with less of the historical facts, but still, it is a fascinating book, full of unexpected turns. Another great book by Dan Brown!
Makes you think how brutal some of our historical cultures were. Loved this book
Another great addition to the Robert Langdon series. Fans will not be disappointed.
Dr. Langdon is off on another page turning tale of medieval clues and suspense. There are many rich characters and surprises along the journey.
A lot of Dan Brown’s books are very similar I think (always Robert Langdon + a pretty woman, though she changes each book, always a race against time for Langdon to decipher some clue before a lunatic destroys the world, usually a lot of historical references and symbology interpretations along the way.) They are very action-packed, not very …
If you like the Robert Langdon series you should like this book – all the history, symbolism and nefarious religious mythology continues in this good read.
Just when you think you know what Inferno is and who the bad guy is, the plot twists and takes a completely different turn! A gripping thriller to the end!
