When I stepped on that flight to Rome, I never could have imagined the man sitting across the aisle from me would tilt my world on its axis.He claimed it was fate that brought us together. But I never believed in such notions. That was something for the dreamers, the romantics, not someone as practical and pragmatic as I.Fate had nothing to do with me walking in on my soon-to-be husband in a … walking in on my soon-to-be husband in a compromising position with his secretary.
Fate had nothing to do with me hopping on a plane to Rome, effectively standing up my former fiancé on our wedding day.
And fate certainly had nothing to do with the handsome stranger sitting across the aisle from me, one who would open my mind and heart to things I never thought possible.
Because if fate is real, she’s cruel and unforgiving.
I thought I’d left my past behind when I stepped onto that plane.
I was a fool to think I could ever truly escape my past.
Not when it’s so viciously intertwined with my present.

This is only part one of an intense story about a woman named Eleanor. She leaves her controlling & stiff fiancé at the alter & takes off on a plane to Rome. She must get away from him & her parents, who have made every decision for her in her life. She knows if she doesn’t do it now, she’ll be trapped without any hope of a chance to experience life by her own decisions. Right before the plane lands, an Italian stranger strikes up a conversation with her. He’s terribly handsome, witty & very charming. They only have a few moments together, but you just know they’re meant to meet up again. And so this first part of the story begins. But the end? I shook my Kindle because I didn’t want it to be over!!!! Part two can’t come soon enough!!! Loved this book!! It went very quickly for me & is really well written!!
Holy hotness, Batman! Wow, just WOW! What a steamy, sexy read. I absolutely loved Inferno and cannot wait to see what happens after that bombshell of an ending! I seriously need a Dante in my life, no doubt about that! I loved how Ellie, even though it was a struggle, was able to let go and find her true self. To embrace what she wanted and needed. Of course, when you have someone like Dante ready and willing to help you discover all those hidden sexual desires and pleasures, WOW, the steam factor is off-the-charts!
I am anxiously awaiting part two of Inferno to see what happens!
And this story here is why TK Leigh continues to be an automatic ONECLICK author for me!!! Inferno is AMAZING, BRILLIANT. From start to finish you’re pulled in and held captive by Mrs Leigh’s words. Her writing style, characters and their connections TOP NOTCH!! And as with EVERY TK Leigh Inferno left me BLOWN AWAY!!!
The sexy, hot steamy sex scenes will leave you BREATHLESS! And that ending!!!! OMG! Talk about a HUGE WOW moment!!! I can’t wait to see what happens in the continuation. January can’t come fast enough for me!! 5 INFERNO BLAZING STARS!!!
T.K. is one of my go to authors and this story just proves why I can’t stop myself from immediately devouring whatever she releases.
Inferno is an intriguing story, to say the least. A beautiful woman who has been trapped and controlled her entire life, finally breaking free of the suffocating restraints. Meeting an enigmatic man who makes her feel things she’s never felt before.
The chemistry and passion between Dante and Eleanor is off the charts. T.K. does an incredible job of building up the attraction and desire between these two characters. What started out as a proposition to just spend this limited time together quickly morphed into something that feels so much deeper than just a casual fling while Eleanor is in Rome.
T.K. seamlessly injects glimpses into Eleanor’s dismal upbringing and family life into the story and it’s very easy to see why she snapped and hopped on that plane to Italy. And then to meet someone like Dante, this mysterious, gorgeous man who seems to be able to read her every thought? A man who helps her discover things about herself she would have never explored otherwise? Is it fate? Is it some cosmic power finally shining down on her? Or is it something else altogether, something that Eleanor is not prepared for? We’ll have to wait to find out in the next book…
After that bombshell ending, I’m not sure how I’m supposed to wait patiently for the next book!!
I received a free copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
This is Part One to what looks like a four part novella series from T.K. Leigh. I will tell you to go ahead and expect a cliffhanger.
Ellie never believed in fate. That was something for the dreamer’s, the romantic’s, not someone as practical as she is. Fate had nothing to do with her walling in on her soon-to-be husband in a compromising position with his secretary. Fate had nothing to do with her hopping on a plane to Rome, effectively standing up her former fiance on their wedding day. And fate certainly had nothing to do with the handsome stranger sitting across the aisle from her, one who would open her mind and heart to things she never thought possible. Because if fate is real, if fate is pulling the strings, if fate is in charge of each person’s destiny, she is cruel and unforgiving. Why would fate want her to experience a connection as she never had in her life, only to remind her it is fleeting? Whey would fate give her everything she never knew she always wanted? Why would fate let her have a taste, then crush those dreams? He could never be hers and she could never be his. And his deception may just may be her breaking point.
Poor Ellie I think I thought a million times. I could never imagine living the life she is expected to live. To do exactly what her parents wanted her to do in everything and to end up having to marry a man for political aspirations for both of the families. You see Ellie was suppose to marry Brock but instead caught him cheating on her and on her wedding day she hops a plane to Rome and is determined to figure out just exactly who she is without her parents controlling her life. Brock is awful. UGH I did not like him at all even though he isn’t one of the characters in the book except in the stories Ellie told of him. He sounds like a very selfish man and I was so happy that Ellie ran. What she didn’t expect was to meet a man on the plane who seemed to be able to read her life a book. This is the moment you know that Dante and Ellie are destined to bigger and better things. Dante you see believes in fate and Ellie does not. Although she begins to see that fate is probably the reason that he was sitting on that plane and that it was his restaurant she dined in her first night in Rome. He is also the man who opens her eyes to so many things she never realized were actually wrong in her life. I love Dante and Ellie together. But I will say you better be hanging on to something for the ending of this book. I never in a million years would have thought what happened was going to happen. Holy shocked. To say I can not wait for the second part of this series is an understatement.
This is amazing must read beginning to what is bound to be an absolutely mind blowing, passion filled series from T.K. Leigh.
HOLY FORKIN SHIRT!!!
Now that’s what I call a CLIFFY!!!!
HOT DAYUM!!!!
The perfect combination of lust and drama.
Eleanor is finally free to be herself and Dante is the perfect guide to help her figure out just who that might be.
Can’t wait to read more, and more. And more of this amazing series.
Eleanor flees her life that is a figurative cage and in the process meets Dante, who helps her discover herself and in the process she loses her heart. Great story that ends in a twist and cliffhanger.
I recommend Inferno Part 1-4 These are great books with a continuing story that provide many hours of pleasure.
Inferno. The perfect name for this hot, intense book. Ladies, get your fans out because trust me, you’ll need them. Once I started reading the first line of Inferno, I couldn’t stop. I devoured this book, needing more of it. It’s honestly that good.
Inferno tells us the story about Ellie, who is trapped in a life that is basically going nowhere. Her love life was ruined. She felt like she was just going through the motions of day-to-day living, basically just existing. It isn’t until her best friend, Mila snaps her out of her funk, makes her do something that is so far out of her comfort zone, that she takes the leap. She finally decides life is for the living and she needs to live it to the fullest.
I can’t go any further without giving away spoilers. I will say, once you read part one of Inferno, you will be swept away in this passionate, fierce, and suspense-filled book. T.k. Leigh’s writing is – as always, phenomenal. She definitely has impressive talent. Part one leaves off on a pretty heavy cliff hanger that literally makes you beg for more. Don’t worry, T.k. Leigh won’t leave us hanging for too long. In the end, all I have to say is #TeamDante all the way!
“Inferno” is the perfect name for this series, any other name would not have fit. This is the story of Elanor aka Ellie and Dante Luciano. Ellie has not really been living her life, just kind of going through the motions, so her best friend, Mila decides to help her out by sending her on a short trip to Italy. Fate intervenes when she meets Dante, hot, sexy, passionate Dante.
I don’t want to give anything away, but I will say that you need to read this book. It gripped me from the very first page and didn’t let up until the end. Well it really didn’t let up then, because it ended with a cliffhanger that I never once saw coming.
Five “scorching hot stars” for this one, and I have to add that T.K. Leigh books never disappoint me!!
This series was awesome…..you fall in love with Dante…..and Eleanor you want as a best friend even though you are so jealous of her and Dante….but it is complicated and a struggle, and people from the past come back and hurt both of them and it just makes you furious. Loved this series!!!
This was amazing! Just amazing!
Inferno was over way before I wanted it to be, but regardless of the length, TK Leigh packed so much of punch in this novella that I was left stunned and grateful that I had part 2 of Dante and Ellie’s story waiting for me. If there is a such thing as fate and love at first sight – because we all know lust at first sight is real – Dante and Ellie made me a sound believer. These two people set this book on its ear with their sensual attraction, white hot chemistry and sigh worthy romantic moments.
This amazing story starts with a decision by Ellie to finally stand up for herself – no matter the consequences. A random choice sends Ellie to Italy. A random meeting with a handsome mystery man on the plane intrigues her. Still nothing can prepare her for how another chance meeting at place called Inferno will change her life.
Oh, and that cliffhanger? Just be prepared. I NEVER SAW IT COMING!
Tracy Leigh… how I have missed your words. I am so excited to dive into more of Dante and Eleanor’s divine love story!
Do you believe in fate?
Do you believe that things happen for a reason? This book will make a believer out of you, especially when you encounter and meet beautiful and mysterious Italian business man Dante.
Rome was the perfect backdrop for this rich, sensual read, where Eleanor Crenshaw lands to regroup after devastating circumstances at home. She decides once and for all to take charge of her life, and she decides to first get her ex-fiancé out of her system and take a chance by meeting someone new and have a little fun.
To Eleanor, meeting Dante was a coincidence, to him it was fate. Omg, their chemistry was dripping with sexiness. Their first meeting was sex on a stick. Even when they were just sharing gelato was sensual.
Dante was tall, dark and mysterious. Who is he? He just seemed to good to be true and too familiar with Eleanor.
Besides being sinfully delicious and fast paced, this read had an undertow of unpredictable and subtle turns that gave the story some edge and complexity.
Then…the ending confirmed it!!
Unputdownable, I was disappointed it ended so quickly. I have the best book hangover.
4.5 stars!
To the reason I believe fate is real….
What a dedication! Part one of this fantastic series starts off with a wowza!
This novella is the introduction of Eleanor and Dante. Fate really does step in with these two. Their chemistry is off the charts, white hot! Dante is full on alpha swooniness and Eleanor is a breath of fresh air, I love how she is embracing the new her and shaking off the shackles of her old life! She comes out of her shell beautifully.
T.K. weaves the story in Rome so well, I almost believed I was there, sitting outside by the Trevi Fountain, watching Dante and Eleanor interact.
The romance, the intrigue and one hell of a cliffhanger ending, makes me chomping at the bit for more!
When Ellie ditches her wedding to hop on a plane she never intended to meet Dante. Dante is everything her fiancée isn’t. Bit when fate has them meeting again will she be able to resist him and will a past she thought was behind her come to haunt her? This book is a million on the hotness level and I need more immediately!
Some may not believe in fate but sometimes you just have to accept that it does exist. Inferno makes you think that fate does play such an important part in Dante and Ellie’s lives. This novella will have you so hooked. Watching Ellie become the woman she has hidden for so long and finally enjoy life like she wants. Not having to answer to her parents or her fiancé. Not having to live as they instruct. But to live each day to the fullest and enjoy every moment. To be treated as a woman and not someone who will help their political career. Dante is a dream. He knows how to treat a woman and he believes in fate. Fate brought Ellie to him and he is going to enjoy it to the fullest. Ellie has 10 days to enjoy Dante and she is trying not to get too attached to him and just enjoy the moment. Dante too knows that their time is limited but I think he too is having a hard time not getting to emotionally attached. It will be interesting to see how their hearts can stay unattached when fate has other plans.
Actual Rating 4.5
Yes. This was an excellent book that I enjoyed from beginning to end. It was fun and super sexy. I loved both of the main characters and their hot and sexy attraction to one another. I also loved that it was a really quick read that I finished in one sitting. Inferno is really addictive and I can’t wait to see what happens next after that crazy ending.
Raise a hand if you like hot billionaire chefs. I mean who doesn’t love a sexy man and food?
I loved the way the story has developed so far. Eleanor has always had a sheltered life you could say. Never having the option of doing anything for herself. Everything chosen for her. Her clothes, her makeup, her area of study, who she would marry, hell even her hair color. After finding her fiance having sex with his secretary in their bed two days prior to their wedding, she decides she has had enough of this life. She leaves Brock at the altar and gets on a plane to Rome. A stranger on said plane starts up a conversation with her, and she is awestruck by how much this stranger who only had a short conversation with her, knows her more than her own family or fiance do. She meets him again, and she cannot deny it isn’t destiny; fate, that’s drawing them together, can it?
All the sex scenes that follow are hot. What I don’t like is that this part of the book is short. It’s a novella. 10 chapters and it ends on a cliffhanger. So far I think it could probably be added to book two and make one book but I’ll know more after I finish book 2. Scroll down for my thoughts on it.
AAAAH another horrible ending! Ok so not horrible but what a cliffy! You ladies are killing me. I just hope I can remember to get all these books when they come out. T.K is new to me and I will for sure be looking up her other stuff.
I hav quickly become immersed so deeply into this series. The build-up of feelings between Dante & Ellie is intense. I am rooting for them! I am jumping right in to book 2 immediately!
