When international law attorney Sheikh Harun Ali is lured to the Amazon and warned of a frightening plot against the United States, he and his wife, Marianne Benson, enlist the assistance of their neighbors, covert agent Cade Matthews and his wife, Constitutional Law Professor Janet MacLachlan. Ultimately, these feisty lawyers are pushed to the wall, desperate to find a plane that has been buried … buried in an unknown cornfield, the passengers still on board. The terrorists’ hatred for the Alis is absolute—the Alis once left their organization bankrupt and broken—but they hate America more. And their fiendish games are just beginning. They are seeking a much bigger prize—one that could destroy a nation and possibly the world. An act that will live in infamy.

Infamy (Feisty Lawyers #2) by Seelie Kay was an fast pace heart pounding read, that had me hooked from start to finish.
Not my first read by this author or in this series. This is a continuation series, and though this book can be read as a standalone, I highly suggest reading the first book, as there are many references to it, as well as much needed background info and character development.
Wow, I am loving this series. As far fetched as this story may seem, at the same time the writing and attention to detail, makes you believe you’re a fly on the wall to a real life spy org. My fav scene is actually within the first few chapters. Cade is scolding Dianna for not being professional, and I don’t know why I like that scene so much, but it was like the author took all that was wrong with the normal female MC, tossed it at you in the first chapter, then in the next, bitch slapped it out of the story. Bluntly stating, that actions like that could get yourself or worst your buddy killed. I think I’ve been waiting for a scene like that.. bravo!
That superb writing only gets better as this high stakes story picks up it’s speed and intensity. I’m not going to go into that because this story is about 121 pages, so any more I say will spoil this wonder. I can tell you that you will be on the edge of your seat! So please take my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval that you will get caught and trapped by this action thriller.
Happy Reading
-E.A. Walsh
I give Infamy (Feisty Lawyers Book 2) by Seelie Kay, 5 stars.
Harun Ali is told that his brother is seriously ill and asking for him in the middle of the Amazon. He hasn’t seen his brother in a long time and is wary. So he brings his friend and secret agent, Cade, with him. They get there and the dying man tells them something that raises alarms in both these men and all over the states. They uncover a possible terrorist plot. But that is all they know. The agents and lawyers must work to figure out who is behind it and just what is going to happen. Can they do it in time, or will the terrorists win?
This author never fails to amaze me. While there is suspense throughout the book, it starts out more about the couples and their relationships. But then then the suspense turns up a million notches and I cannot put the book down. She pulls me in with the gripping action and I forget everything else until I am done. The characters are so engaging, they feel like they could be your neighbors. At the same time, they are so smart and use any means necessary to keep everyone safe.
This is a romantic suspense that is spectacular. I highly recommend this book and series.
Infamy is book two in the Feisty Lawyers series by Seelie Kay. Cade and Janet are stars of yet another edgy suspense that will keep a reader tense and ready for anything. A true nailbiter.
A sheik, his wife, a law professor and a covert agent join forces to combat evil that is lurking and ready to strike at any moment. Riveting reading ensure you stayed glued to the pages, your whole body taut with nervousness and uncertainty. The mystery surrounding this story is large and illusive and just begging to be solved. A dramatic and intense suspense that will render you speechless and hungry for more. 4 stars.
Infamy by Seelie Kay is the second installment from the Fiesty Lawyers series, featuring all the same players from the first book, Snatching Dianna, which I read prior to reading this.
Dianna, Law Student and a new Agency recruit; teams up with the very lawyers and agents that orchestrated her rescue from a sex trafficking scheme to find out who, how, and why terrorists plan to make American plane’s dissappear, and eliminate the threat via several agencies and legal channels. This story has much more intricate detective work, and more suspense than the previous story.
This book is a 5 star read! Right from the get go its evident that although all the characters take their jobs and roles seriously, and are very much so intelligent, they all have great senses of humor. This story has some scenes that are not for young eyes! And it’s very original. I’ve never read a book with a plot similar! My Favorite part of every story, and this one is included in that, is the moment the title is revealed! Its non stop action after that
Infamy by Seelie Kay
Four Stars
Infamy is the second book in the Feisty Lawyers series by Seelie Kay. This action/adventure/suspense/mystery should be read after Snatching Dianna ( the first book in this series) because both are excellent reads and there is backstory in the first book that will help you understand the second. This fast paced, short story had me on the edge of my seat wondering what could possibly happen next. I love Ms. Kay’s writing style, the action and suspense kept flowing from the first page and continued through to the last. I’m looking forward to reading more books in this series.
5 Star
Infamy ( Feisty Lawyers Book 2) by Seelie Kay is the second book in the Feisty Lawyers Series. It’s a fast paced thrilling story that once you start reading its hard to put it down. The twists and turns had me on the edge trying to figure out what happens next. What will happen when they find themselves desperate to find a lost plane in a cornfield? Who is behind it? Find out what happens next. I highly recommend this Book. I look forward to reading more from this Author.
Infamy (Feisty Lawyers Book 2) By Seelie Kay. This book while on the shorter side still packed a punch. It’s a fast paced story with lots action and suspense going on but it’s not a rushed storyline, the author does a great job of balancing the short form of the story and all the things going on with the storyline. This book not only takes readers on a journey it also kept me on the edge of my seat. The characters all bring their own uniqueness to this great story. I do recommend reading these in order but if you don’t want to you don’t absolutely have to. It’s well written and hooked me completely from page one. If you like a short but intense story this is my recommendation. I’m giving this book a five star review.
Infamy is the second book in Seelie Kay mind-blowing Feisty Lawyers’ series! I fell in love with her writing AND with the series when I read the first book of the series (Snatching Dianna) AND I hope that she will keep on adding to the series! I think you could read the story as a standalone as the story itself is not linked to what happened in the first book BUT as most of the main characters were the focal point of the first book then please do yourself a favour and start from the beginning!
This second story – Infamy – is the story of terrorism, of intrigue, action, suspense, danger … it is also so complex that at times I felt that it was too short though the writer was able to give us everything – from the beginning to the conclusion! The story will keep you at the edge of your seat and you will notice clenching your fists and you will need to wipe some sweat off your brow! Pick up both of the stories and let yourself be seduced by easy comradery, banter, friendship and love!
Infamy, Feisty Lawyers Series Book Two, by Seelie Kay
4-Stars
Infamy was an exciting story where the characters raced against time to stop a group of terrorists. They promise to make planes disappear and the group fears that it is going to be 9/11 all over again. I enjoyed following the characters and loved that the author brought back Anders and Dianna from the first book. I loved Anders character and still do. I also loved Cade. He is a new father in this one and still just as loving and protective of his wife, Janet, and their son Ethan. Adding the family of royals into the mix was a different and interesting twist. It seemed to really add to the story.
Infamy is the second book in the Feisty Lawyers series. It isn’t specifically a cliffhanger but some of the story line is left open to continue in another book. If you want to get a deeper background on the characters, read book one, although you don’t necessarily have to in order to appreciate this book.
This is not a long book, I finished it in about 2.5 hours. I felt like the story line was a little rushed, but ultimately entertaining. The first couple of chapters were great and I felt like I was actually getting into the characters, but then toward the middle they moved back to more of a superficial connection. Maybe too much speculative dialog? I’m not exactly sure what made the difference.
Overall a decent way to pass some time.
Infamy (Feisty Lawyers Book 2)
By Seelie Kay
Infamy is book 2 in Feisty Lawyers series by Seelie Kay. If you enjoyed Snatching Dianna, book one in the series then you are going to love Infamy. Infamy is a nice quick read, but just because it’s a quick read but don’t be fooled to think that this book is not action packed, you will find this book has action, suspense and danger, and not forgetting the twists and turns that makes the story even better. Infamy can be read as a standalone but as with any other series I would highly recommend that you start with Snatching Dianna just for some background history on the characters.
Infamy by Seelie Kay is the second book in the Feisty Lawyers series. This can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading the first book before this book. The series continues with agent Cade Matthews and his wife Constitutional Law Professor Janet MacLachlan. The two have been brought into a plot that involves the lives of many. Can they figure everything out and save the people?
This is a good read that kept me reading. I like the interactions between the characters and the continuing story of Cade and Janet. I enjoyed the suspense and action. This is a series that keeps me wanting more. I like the intrigue and look forward to reading more.
Infamy (Feisty lawyers Book 2) by Seelie Kay. This is a fast paced mystery with lots of intrigue. Its the story of Sheikh Harun Ali an International Law Attorney and his wife Marianne who are lured into a scary plot that is against the US. They enlist the help of their good friends and neighbors Cade a covert Agent and Janet a Law Professor. They are looking for a supposed plane buried in the middle of no where in a cornfield. Will they be able to find it in time. This book is so good and a quick read. It will keep you on the seat of your pants and flipping pages like crazy. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
It is always a pleasure to revisit an author that made an impression. I was pretty excited to dive into Infamy by Seelie Kay, and get lost within the plot that she created. I loved that we get to see the characters from the previous book, and how their commitment helps unravel the wrong doings within this book. This book was full of suspense, one that left you sitting on the edge of your seat, wondering if they were going to be able to complete their mission and save the day. I definitely enjoyed this book and it’s characters, and look forward to reading more!

This is book two in the Feisty Lawyers series. In this story, along with the main characters Cade and Janet, we meet two more lawyers Marianne Benson and her husband Sheikh Harun Ali. The terrorists in this book are smart. They have managed to find a way to make planes disappear from the skies. While they are after the Americans, they also have a vendetta against the Alis. They decide to take care of both at the same time. Not only do Cade and Janet need to find the missing planes but they need to save their friends as well.
This is another action packed book filled with espionage, mystery and drama. The danger and intrigue make this an interesting story. I liked the new characters that were introduced in this book. Honestly I enjoyed this book better than the first. I find all the high tech espionage entertaining and adore the banter between the characters. There are so many different scenarios that can happen in this series so I’m looking forward to the next book.
Seelie Kay is back at it with another saucy short and sweet installment in her Feisty Lawyers series. I loved the first one, Snatching Diana, and even though it is said these could be read as stand alones I would highly recommend that you read them in order and completely. They are short enough and fantastic so why not? Once again I felt as if I was in one of my favorite primetime crime shows, swept into the daring and dangerous drama that comes up with fighting terrorists and more. I won’t divulge much more than that because it would spoil all the good parts, so for that you will have to one-click this gem and devour it yourself! You won’t be disappointed that you did! I can’t wait to find out what will come next in the Feisty Lawyers series. Thanks for another great read Ms. Seelie!
Seelie Kay’s Infamy is the second book in the Feisty Lawyers series. This was a thrilling and suspenseful read. Seelie Kay .holds onto their style of not waiting to pull the reader into the story, by instantly starting with the right elements to draw attention to not only the characters, but also the environment. This story was highly detailed providing vivid scenery to the story. The story was fast paced, but not rushed following the first book a year later. Seelie Kay is talented in providing a high octane story what drives intrigue, mystery and more.
Can be read as a stand-alone.
“Books provide the fantasy men rarely deliver.”
“Terrorism is a global problem.”
This is a fast moving suspense that is full of realistic and current content. From the very first line to the Epilogue, I was held captive by this story.
Characters and story line are quickly developed, the plot moves along and leaves nothing off the table. Details are supplied in “conversational ways” instead or long sentences.
There is nothing that I would change about this book.
5 stars
Infamy by Seelie Kay is the second book in the Feisty Lawyers series. This is a relatively short story but it is full of all the excitement and intrigue that you would get from any longer novel.
Book one was a very good start to the series but this boom took it to a whole other level. This was edge of your seat, heart thumping, cannot read quick enough type of reading. The book was full of so many twists and turns and I could not put it down.
If this is an indication as to how the series will be then I seriously cannot wait for the next book!
Infamy (Feisty Lawyers Book 2) Seelie Kay is a short and easy read with lots of suspense and intrigue. I recommend reading the first book before this one to get the background and history of the characters as they continue in this story. I loved the first book but this one is even better and is my favourite so far.
Seelie’s cleverly woven plot, where the suspense is palpable, had me on the edge of my seat, as they race against time to stop terrorists. I loved every bit of the action and adventure, the danger and lets not forget the humour and banter that had me laughing. Even though it is a short story it definitely packs a punch and keeps you on your toes.
The easy comradery, friendship and love between the characters and their antics makes them and their journey all the more real.
I look forward to and can’t wait to see what Seelie has instore for us with the next book and beyond.
