When international law attorney Sheikh Harun Ali is lured to the Amazon and warned of a frightening plot against the United States, he and his wife, Marianne Benson, enlist the assistance of their neighbors, covert agent Cade Matthews and his wife, Constitutional Law Professor Janet MacLachlan. Ultimately, these feisty lawyers are pushed to the wall, desperate to find a plane that has been buried … buried in an unknown cornfield, the passengers still on board. The terrorists’ hatred for the Alis is absolute—the Alis once left their organization bankrupt and broken—but they hate America more. And their fiendish games are just beginning. They are seeking a much bigger prize—one that could destroy a nation and possibly the world. An act that will live in infamy.

The story Infamy is the second book in the Feisty Lawyers by Seelie Kay. Seelie Kay does it again. The story plot is one that will be wanting more. The first book was kept me sitting at the edge of my seat. Infamy has kept my interest and a fast read. However, if you are not careful the story will take a left turn but had me turning right. I have enjoyed the characters and I feel like they are my family. There were times that I wanted to scream at Harun, Marianne, Cade and Janet as they are getting into trouble and should see that was going to happen. Since this is a shorter story, I do not want to get into too much detail. Make sure you set enough time to be able read it in one sitting.

Infamy was an exciting second instalment in this series by Seelie Kay. I really enjoyed book 1 so was definitely looking forward to reading the second and I wasn’t disappointed at all. The authors writing kept me on the edge of my seat the whole way through and I loved all the twists and turns that constantly kept me guessing. Although this is a short read it is packed full of action, drama and more. I was pleased to see characters from the first book again and also to be introduced to some new ones. I really enjoyed the authors writing style and how she was able to cram so much story into a short read. The book could be read and enjoyed as a standalone however I loved book 1 so would also recommend that one as well as this book.
I am definitely looking forward to reading more from this author again in the future.

If you like reading stories that are full of alphabets this one is for you. What does she mean? Well FBI, CIA, MISix for a few. That leads to multiple characters working or knowing someone who works in one or more of these. This one is a story that involves all the characters we met in the last book as well as a few new ones. There is a lot of activity and some downtime for the couples. This doesn’t really follow one couple. It follows more of a group. This is a little difficult at times. Too many people and too many secret/not secret titles. It can be confusing to read trying to follow each character, what group they are associated with, what qualifications they have and why/how they are attached to the rest. I liked the beginning but once they got to the house I was overwhelmed with characters and credentials. I made a list to try to keep track. There is some humor and briefly crazy sexy times. The connection between some of the characters was good. Hope seems to be a handful and I’m pretty sure she will get her way on her future. Anyway this is an ok read for me. I had too many struggles to be interested to read more stories.
Infamy by Seelie Kay is the second book in the Feisty Lawyers series. There were no dull moments in this book and kept me on the edge through most of it. I would have liked to see a bit more of a buildup with Hope’s relationship but other than that I liked it the way it was.
We meet up with Cade, Janet, Anders and Dianna a year after the first book and a lot has happened in that time. I liked seeing where they were after Dianna’s kidnapping and recovery.
The security of the United States is in danger from an unknown threat, but thankfully the Black Ops team is working the case to see what they can do to prevent another horrific attack.
Very enjoyable series and hope to see more in the future.

I’m becoming a bigger fan of this author the more I read…I loved Snatching Dianna and then she comes out with this one… Loved it!! Also a very quick read yet full of content that never left me feeling like anything was rushed.
This book had it all…There were funny parts, suspenseful parts, quite a bit of danger and a lot of sitting on the edge of my seat. I enjoyed the characters from the first book being present in this one and although you could probably read this as a stand alone I would not suggest it, the first in this series was amazing and you won’t be sorry starting there.
I can’t wait for more from this author, her style of writing is exactly what I like and she has definitely been added to my watch file.
Awesome!
Infamy follows Cade and Janet and their crew into a new mission. Sheikh Harun goes to the Amazon to see his brother . Taking Cade with him, his brother gives him a message that he needs to figure out. Things start happening and the crew has to figure out what is going on before its too late. I read this in one setting. Seelie Kay does not skimp on the action. She is quickly becoming one of my favorites!!

The story Infamy (Feisty Lawyers Book 2) by Seelie Kay is a wonderful book that I loved reading. It is thrilling, has plenty of mystery, and kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. It is a fast-paced story that is full to twists and turns. When a warning is given regarding a plot against the United States Sheikh Harun Ali, his wife Marianne, along with their neighbors Cade Matthews and his wife Janet MacLachlan are working the case. Will they be able to find a plane that has been buried in an unknown cornfield with the passengers still on board? Who are the ones who have hatched and carried out this plan? What is their endgame? Will they be caught? Read this story to find out. This book has action and danger. It had me turning pages. I enjoyed reading about the interactions/bantering that occurs between many of the characters as it shows how tight-knit of a group they are. There is humorous and flirty talking that also goes on. The story is written in such a way that I felt like I was right there with the characters trying to find those who are responsible. This book hooked me in from the very beginning and didn’t let go until I had read the final page. The story also had me thinking about it even after I had finished. Could something like this happen in real life? This is the second book in a series and I loved it just as much as the first one. I would highly recommend reading it.
Seelie Kay does it again. This book certainly packed a punch. It was full of suspense and twists that made my head spin. I was riveted from the beginning and devoured the book in one sitting. This series is a must read thriller that will delight and engage its readers. Kay masterfully weaves her tale and provides her another fantastic piece of fiction. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!
This is the second book in this series, my favorite yet. I was pulled in right from the beginning and didn’t put it down until the last page. I enjoyed seeing characters from the first book in this one and can say they are still my favorite. What will happen when this group of characters find themselves in desperate need to find a plane that is lost in a cornfield? The twists and turns left me turning pages and sitting on the edge of my seat action. I highly recommend this book.

Infamy is the brilliant second instalment in the Feisty Lawyers Series by Seelie Kay. It can be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading the first book to gather all the pertinent particulars, background information, and character details- so you are able to full appreciate and immerse yourself in this book.
This is a short story, which makes for a very quick and easy read. There is lots of intrigue, suspense, humour, action, adventure, danger, terrorism, drama, some romance, and a bit of spice. The book had me on the edge of my seat in suspense most of the time, reading along to discover how the story would play out.
I loved the first book, but this one blew me away, and is definitely my favourite, so far! Because this is such a short story, I won’t go into too much detail, as I wouldn’t want to spoil it for you, plus the blurb gives a better rundown of the plot than I could, anyway.
This is quite a clever, complex, multi-faceted storyline- with lot packed into a small package! But in true Seelie Kay fashion, it packs quite a punch!
I really enjoyed this clever suspense. I love the characters, old and new- I enjoyed their chemistry, personalities, funny banter, quips and antics. It made them more realistic and quite endearing.
I still maintain that this series would make a great Television show.
I can’t wait to see what new adventures and investigations await in the future instalments!
Thank you, Ms. Kay!
