Seymour Avenue-
Lee gives a creepy look inside the mind of a monster. Ariel doesnt see himself this way though which really makes this story mind blowing! It’s crazy how the mind works for some…twisting and turning reality into something it’s not.
La Dama Del Silencio-
Marie did such a great job with this! It’s sick, twisted, and oh so creepy! Juana has some deep childhood issues and blames her mom for them. In her demented mind she is righting all of the wrongs by carrying out her heinous actions. This story will leave you feeling paranoid!
Alter Boys-
Watson has such a way with words. If anyone can make you feel like you are in the story it’s him! Very vivid writing. Job well done portraying the darkness inside Dahmer’s head.
The View-
Marin had me hooked from the start with this one. Just when you think it can’t get any better Marin delivers an insane ending!
Built for Murder-
For me this was intense from start to finish. There was so much darkness inside this story. I enjoyed how Stanley did a great mix of real life and flashbacks.
Family Ties-
I knew this story was going to be interesting after reading the opening. McKinzie did not disappoint! This was a page turner for sure!
It Lives Within-
Schoen opens strong with a glimpse into the mind of a killer. Her portrayal of the mystery and taunting ways that surround the Zodiac is very captivating!
Every story in this anthology was fantastic! Edge of my seat reading for every one of them. I highly recommend this to anyone that enjoys reading about infamous killers, or just enjoys a book that grabs hold and doesn’t let go.
Seymour Avenue – What an absolutely chilling way to begin this anthology. It made my skin crawl, and yet I couldn’t stop reading.
La Dama Del Silencio – Reading Olivia Marie’s dark side was quite a treat.
Alter Boys – I was warned about this story… It was definitely a dark and depraved ride that escalated quickly, but it fit with this anthology quite well.
The View – Reading along and having things fall into place in this story was eerie and had me on the edge of my seat. Things got pretty intense when it all became clear in the end. Fabulous.
Built for Murder – This story was told in an interesting format that held my attention from start to finish.
Family Ties – This story definitely piqued my interest and I was eager to see where it would go. The pace picked up quickly and it was a bit of a crazy ride.
It Lives Within – This unique story was a good way to end the anthology.
I really enjoyed each author’s tale in this collection of dark and devious characters.
Horror Fans and Serial Killer followers, this anthology is for you. I am a read-it-all reader, so most things don’t bother me, but these unputdownable stories freaked me out. After reading each tale, I found myself researching each killer on the internet to compare their stories, to what I had just read. I may never sleep again without lights, but I have no regrets!
