This is the prequel to the Black Light series, I may have read them out of order… oops….I will start by saying so far this series has been amazing. I have really enjoyed every book i have read so far.
This story follows Emma, Chase and Jax. I really enjoyed their story. I liked seeing how they met and I love how protective the boys are of their girl. My only fault is I feel like at one point Jax kind of hurts Emma by insinuating she was only interested because of their game and I feel like Emma brushed it off to easy. Maybe I just crave drama and saw the chance for some angst that went unused haha.
I absolutely loved the connection the lovers shared. I loved their devotion. I loved their journey and can not wait to read more of it. I would probably give this a solid 4 1/2 stars just because I feel like I needed a bit more angst. However that’s totally a personal preference.
I really enjoyed this story and loved the Bond between Jackson, Chase and Emma as the trio embark into a menage relationship. Hot, steamy and very sexy
This is my first time reading anything by this author, and although I found this to be just an OK read, I would look read more books from them in the future.
This is the story of Jaxson, Chase, and Emma, who meet in a train station in France, when Emma’s trying to get herself home, after her friend left her. Panicked because she doesn’t know a word of french, hot models Jaxson, and Chase come to the rescue. Emma literally jumps into a one night stand with them minutes later. Although the sexy scenes are hot, and steamy, the story seemed a little far fetched, and unrealistic. I guess this just wasn’t for me.
Just WOW!! I know I’m late to the Black Light Party, but I intend to immerse myself wholly now that I’ve started. This story is riveting, passionate, emotional. It has friendship, ego, lovers, confidence, insecurity and personal values. On top of all that, in case that isn’t enough, Livia Grant has introduced us to an amazing triad. Jax, Chase, and Emma are flawed, relatable, and absolutely lovable. Their scenes are HOT, the conversations made me feel like I was one of the roommates with a front-row seat. This was amazing and I can’t wait to get through the series, I’m trying to be good and read them in order, and see what happens when they open their club.
Who knew not being to speak French would turn into a steamy menāge a trois with two hot models? I really liked that Emma decided to take walk on the wild side with Jaxson and Chase while on a train ride from Nice to Paris. As for these two gorgeous men who suddenly find themselves pining for a Midwest college student who managed to capture their hearts and feed their kinky lifestyle after only a few days…they get the curvy woman of their dreams.
Wow! Just Wow! What a fantastic love story between two models, Jaxson and Chase, and the graduate student, Emma, who they befriend in France as she tries to make her way home to the states without knowing much French. And so it begins. Emma, a curvy, real girl so unlike the stick thin phony women they are used to, quickly captures their hearts and becomes their missing puzzle piece and completes them. This is an emotional story, tender, romantic and full of love (and steamy dominance). The book also shows how cruel, pathetic, hurtful and rude
people can be to those who don’t measure up to their physical ideal of perfection. It would be heartwarming if just one such person would read this book, see himself/herself as that person, find shame and change their bullying, hurtful behavior. I am captured by the start of the series and can’t wait to start reading the next book!
This was my first read by this author and I absolutely loved it! One of my favorite genres is menage and BDSM and boy this book didn’t disappoint! It tells the story of Emma, a college student trying to make her way in life. And Jaxson and Chase, two famous models who come to meet her while she is in Europe. The chemistry between these three is off the charts! After one magical night they part ways. Do they find each other again? You will have to read this to find out. This book is extremely well written and I can’t wait to read more by this author.
I read Black Light Valentine Roulette REDUX before reading this book. I had to keep reminding myself that this book was about the initial meeting of Jax, Emma, and Chase, and that is why they seemed younger and more unsure of how to go about presenting their relationship to the world.
I have to say that Jax and Chase were more confident in regard to wanting Emma as a partner then she was. The two men were also more experienced than Emma. Emma’s confidence slowly increased after meeting Chase and Jax. There was definitely instalust, and a good chemistry between them, but you also got to see how the relationship developed.
I also enjoyed the way they stood up for each other, the dominant, the switch, and the submissive.
Overall, it was an enjoyable book and provided insight into their relationship as you navigate the Black Light series. Hot, steamy, and romantic at a different level then some of the later books.
When Emma is stranded in France, Jaxon and Chase come to her rescue. The three begin a relationship that starts as friends, but Jaxon and Chase want more. Will Emma agree? She’s never felt good about herself so will she let the guys in? There are outside forces at work to keep them apart.
I loved this story and how they bring Emma into their world. A must read for an Livia Grant fan!
I started the Black Light series in the midst of Season 1 and have tried to catch up with all the stories. I have the e-book and also the audio version, which I really enjoyed. It’s the story of Emma, a young American woman travelling in Europe, and Chase and Jax, international models who help and befriend Emma. After having a hot summer fling with two hot guys, could Emma resist them if they wanted the her, girl-next-door they left behind? It’s a story of growth for Emma; growing into her sexual self, keeping up with famous, dominant men, learning to be part of a throuple. Having met the characters before, it was great to see how it all began. It’s a smoothly written, entertaining story.
This is a very enjoyable read that for me offered a perfect blend of heat and heart. It is a light BDSM, MMF romance that has a trio of characters that share a sizzling chemistry and scorching scenes. I just liked Jaxson, Emma and Chase so much. The dynamic and connection between them all was special and unique. The underlaying emotions are really what made this book special to me. How Jaxson and Chase viewed and treated Emma was both sweet and hot. It was totally heart melting and swoon worthy how they encouraged her to see herself as they saw her, not as the rest of the world, her so-called friends and even herself perceived her. There is drama and emotional turmoil along the way to hold your interest. Simply wonderful!
Where do I even start with this book? I loved every moment of this book, and I especially loved the messages it conveys. My favorite thing about this is that Emma is a curvy girl and both Jaxson and Chase spend time showing her how much they love her curves. And practically slaying dragons in public opinion to show her just how beautiful she is exactly as she is. Jaxson and Chase each have their own emotional baggage to deal with. As much as I want to say more, it’s liable to end up being a bit spoiler-y if I do. And no matter how much I think I can identify with Emma, I might just have to admit to loving Chase the most.
This is a prequel to the Blacklight series. It tells the story of how the owners of the Blacklight BDSM club met. It is about a non-conventional relationship of two bi-men and the woman who loves them. There is a lot of steam and kink as this book is about a Dom, a switch and a sub and the family they form together, because at the heart of this story is true love. This is a 4.5 star
What a great prequel. This is how Emma meets Jaxson and Chase. What a great love story. Like most love it has it ups and downs but in the end love will always win.
Interesting
This was a very sexy book. Emma’s friend deserts her in Nice and she has to figure out how to get back to Paris when she meets Jaxson & Chase.
I liked this book overall. It definitely had a majority of sexy kinky scenes but there was still enough plot in it to make it good. I would have loved to see more character development and at least a little more touched on regarding the characters’ individual past but overall I enjoyed each moment and it left me wanting more and very jealous of Emma! I usually struggle with reading ménage books for the most part so it surprised me that I actually liked this one and I’d recommend it for a short fun read.
Ms. Grant did an outstanding job writing a story about three people who find love in one another!
It’s sexy and hot, sweet and romantic. And filled with sexy hotness and kink!
Jaxson the Dom,Chase the Switch and Emma the sweet submissive.
What a wonderful group of characters!
I loved how these handsome dominant men were so sweet and protective towards Emma.
Emma is such a sweet girl. With insecurities and is self conscious of her body type.
It was absolutely wonderful to see these two men love her the way she is and showing her she’s beautiful and perfect as she is.
Great story and wonderful characters!
I love a good MMF menage and when you put some kink in it, it’s even better. Livia Grant has written a story with a rich love story that ties three people into one solid unit.
Emma is in France with a “friend” who ups and abandons her. After usually shy Emma tells her off, she gets to watch two Adonises tell off their own annoying women.
Those two same beautiful men show up at the train station at Nice and rescue her from some ruffians, and then invite her to ride in their private car to Paris.
Jax and Chase are A-list models. When they see Emma, they are fascinated by her. When they get a chance to get up close and personal with her, they jump at it.
Jax and Chase are almost too good to be true. I mean, who doesn’t dream of getting swept off their feet by a handsome man? But then add in a second handsome man and they both want to make you the center of their world? Yes, please. They are all perfect for each other, and they all take care of all the empty spaces the others have. Just a wonderful story.
I admit to falling in love with Emma, Jaxson and Chase after reading “Infamous Love” and while this isn’t my first Livia Grant book, it has started me down the rabbit hole and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed all the stories I’ve read; especially the ones that feature these three. Their romance is sweet and spicy all bundled up into a set of curves and double the set of hard muscular planes that will have you simultaneously squeezing and swooning. And before you tell me that’s impossible, buy the book and read it for yourself.
A lovely and very hot menage story. Loved the main characters and their relationship.
I love a book where characters aren’t perfect and have struggles. That always makes it easier to relate to the characters. And they find the strenght to stand up for themselves and the ones they love.
And did I mention hot. My ereader was steaming up.
Looking forward to reading more about Emma, Chase and Jax in the next book.
