Tara and Jude were friends as adolescents but lost touch over the years. Other than one memorable night years later after which Jude ghosted Tara, they’ve had no contact and both have gone on with their lives. Life hasn’t been kind to either of them, and they’re both jaded by love. Him by an unfaithful almost fiancée, and her by an abusive husband who was partially responsible for the automobile accident that took away her ability to walk.
Tara is withdrawn, unfriendly and bitter since her life was ripped apart. She has weeks of recovery ahead of her, and her new physiotherapist just happens to be her old friend Jude. She’s guarded and holding tight to her heart, but if Jude can help her walk again, she’s willing to put in the work.
I always enjoy reading books by this author because they’re full of believable conflict that elicits a wide array of emotions. I easily connected with these characters, became invested in their story and experienced everything alongside them. I especially love Tara’s character. Her ex-husband treated her terribly (and I’ll just add there’s a scene with dubious consent, as a warning to some readers), her life has been destroyed and her body wrecked, yet her spirit and determination remain strong.
Jade and Tara’s story is an emotional one, with many highs and lows, but the thread of hope is strong, and love wins in the end. This author continues to impress me with her heartfelt work, and I recommend this inspiring read to other romance lovers.

I just loved this book I was hooked right from the very start but be warned this is a heartbreaking read at time so keep the tissues handy. This is a really good well-written read grab a drink get comfy and lock your door because once you start reading this you won’t want to put it down I would definitely recommend it.
Jo-Anne Joseph is a great storyteller, so prepare for an intense emotional ride as you immerse yourself in Tara and Jude’s story. What do you do when life has dealt you a bad hand and you’ve given up on life and relationships? The characters are relatable as they deal with real-life issues. Have a box of tissues ready.
Tara was dealt a lousy life. Her father died and her mother remarried and pawned her off as a niece that she was taking care of. Her saving grace was Devlin and Jude. Then she married and she was really in hell with her husband Reid. In spite of it all, this is her story of overcoming and surviving when everything was stacked against her. This emotional rollercoaster will have you wanting to do bodily harm to several characters!

Wow what a heart breaking read that will take you on a dark read that will bring you to the light. This is a amazing read that will grab you from the very beginning to the very ending and will have you heart and a heart pounding ride throughout this book. This was a hard book to put down and was wanting to read in one setting. This story will have you melting and feeling the words flow from the pages.
As a new to me author Jo-Anne Joseph knocked the ball outta the park with this one. It hit a little close to home on many aspects of this book but it was worth reading and understanding the depths most people go through on a daily BASIS. Tara Craig is a force to be reckoned with. This book has alot of feels and it surely will put you in yours. Don’t delay preorder today, you won’t be sorry. Thank you Jo-Anne for sharing this story
Some books hit you right in the opening page. This book is one of them. There’s no pretense,no jerking you around, you know where and what direction this story is going. I like that a lot. Sometimes, many times, I have to sit back and think beyond the story and what is it that drew me to like it besides the dialogue, good looking people and plot. What parallels can I draw? In this book I had clear direction. Yes, there were a few surprises along the way. What I really liked about this book is that it’s real, the story is relatable and the best part is the heroine didn’t seem like a very nice person in the beginning. You know what, that’s okay. She had every right not to be okay. That’s what’s true, because when we hurt we can be not nice. We don’t have to be. We can be surly, crappy and dislike everyone. It doesn’t mean we aren’t good people usually, but when life through curveballs at you it can momentarily (for however long that is, it different for each person) change you into the evil queen.
Don’t look for sweetness and light because this isn’t that book. We are hit with some very serious issues and get to see how many times we are drawn to what we hated in our life. The author brings some very current issues to life and gives them some clear definition. With all that being said it’s a good story. There are moments of tenderness, smiles, angst, romance and heat.
I don’t do spoilers. I feel it’s unfair to the author. You can get what you need from the blurb. It’s my job to tell you how it affected me. Better yet read the book.
The characters are well developed, interesting and intriguing. One of the aspects I liked was even though they’re attractive they weren’t described as over the top gorgeous. The author allowed us to develop our own internal picture.
One area I would’ve liked a little more description on is in the beginning in regards to Tara’s father and mother and the issues between them. A little more background would’ve been nice. Also, more explanation on the issues between Sarah and Tara. Also more detail on Jude and his father. More information on her sisters would’ve been nice too. In my opinion it would’ve added more to the story. That could be just me. I’m quite nosy. I always enjoy more. Maybe the author is saving that for future stories. I can dream. Otherwise it’s a very good, timely and relevant story that deserves to be read. To the author I say well done and well timed!
Inevitably Yours is a heartbreaking story of hitting rock bottom and fighting your way back out of the darkness. This book will definitely make you feel all the feels and have you feeling a range of emotions on behalf of these characters.
Tara is a woman that once had it all and has lost everything including her hope. She is slowly coming back but doesn’t have much hope until a blast from her past comes back and forces her to deal with all the pain and loss. Jude is her saving grace but she doesn’t realize that she is his too!
This is book was an absolute pleasure to read and I highly recommend it! The writing kept me hooked throughout and the characters were easy to fall for. You will not regret picking this one up!
Inevitably Yours takes the reader on an unimaginable and heartbreaking yet impressively courageous journey. Reading Tara’s story, feeling her fear and hopelessness, being enraged on her behalf, Seeing her slowly start to rebuild herself, become determined, strong and focused was amazing. Jude’s journey was also one strife with despair, anger and frustration. I loved seeing these two get a second chance together.
I am not familiar with this author and I’m unsure how long it would have taken me to discover her if not through this ARC. I loved her writing style and found the book to be well written. I loved the inner struggle of the characters and how they have to overcome past relationships and hurts to move on.

Heart touching story about friends who lost touch once upon a time and that life hasn’t been kind to them since. It’s about finding yourself once you can’t reconcile your present to the future you envisioned.

This story left a me gaping emotional mess. It’s an emotional yet gripping story. Grab a drink and tissues while you settle in for the rollercoaster ride from Tara and Jude.
Jo-Anne Joseph never fails to deliver in writing an emotionally charged book. This book deals with difficult and delicate subjects where these challenges can be overcome, love can be rediscovered and and a fulfilling life can be lived once again.
Such beautiful writing, great love story and hot sex scenes too.
This is my second read by Jo-Anne Joseph and all I can say – what an emotional ride. Her writing is unique yet takes you deep into the very heart of her characters where you’re able to feel what they feel. That being said Inevitably Yours is no different. Both the H and h have hard tough experiences both in life and love. An unfaithful fiancée, an abusive husband are just two of the issues these two face and it was an intriguing read to follow their path to happiness. Emotions may run high as you walk this path with the couple. Highly recommend.

Emotionally Moving!
A moving story of heartache and overcoming it! The writing easily pulls you in and gives you all the feels and so much more making it a bit hard to put down. Exciting edgy chemistry. An incredible must read that takes you on one heck of an emotional rollercoaster ride.
Tara is broken and has had a heartbreaking life, but when she is at her lowest Jude comes into her life, and these two know each other from the past, so he is shocked to see that she is a shell of the person she used to be. Jude makes it his mission to prove to Tara that there are still good people out there. This is a well written, realistic story which is an emotional roller coaster journey throughout. This story is filled with angst, heartbreak, romance and love. I was enthralled throughout, and look forward to reading more from this talented author.
My heart be still! After reading this incredible story of heartache and happiness, my heart is beating like crazy. The story of Tara, a woman who had a not so great life, and is now trying to put herself back together is truly inspiring. Tara has gone through so much in her life that while reading you can’t help but feel her emotions deep in your soul. Along comes Jude, someone from her past, who comes along at a very low point in Tara’s life, and tries to show her there are good people in the world. These characters will ingrain themselves into your heart and you won’t want to let them go. This story brings about real life situations and will show you how some people make decisions in their life you may not agree with, but will understand why. I truly and unequivocally loved this story and so will you!
