Audio Review
This is book 2 in the Inevitability Series and it’s the continuation of Essa and Farren’s story. If you love romantic suspense with plenty of twists and turns this series should certainly be on your radar.
Essa Brant is enjoying the summer in NYC but that’s about to change when she gets kidnapped and it’s left to Farren to find her. Farren will do whatever is necessary to rescue her but his worry is that when she learns his secrets he will lose her love forever.
This is a fast paced, captivating story that’s full of danger, mystery and suspense but once you add in the love this couple share it’s taken to another level.
The narrators, Reagan West and Troy Duran did a wonderful job bringing the characters and their story to life.
Inevitable Circumstances (Inevitability, Book 2) I was looking forward to listening to but when I noticed the female narrator was changed for this audio which was a bit disappointing as I was used of her playing the Role of Essa. Not that I mind Reagan it’s just that I listened back to back and was used of the other narrator for this character. I did love Troy Durans performance of Faren. Book two is fast paced, more background detail and plenty of action. Immense chemistry and hea for the two girls wrapping up the duet.
Essa and Farren’s story continues in this thrilling second book in the Inevitability series. Essa really grew stronger and more confident in the first book and that helps her keep her wits when she is suddenly kidnapped by Farren’s longtime enemy. Farren came back from a mission to find out that the only woman he has ever loved, and should have protected, has disappeared. Now it is a race against time to find and bring her back alive. This suspenseful story took my breath away as the story picked up pace, taking exciting twists and turns that kept me totally riveted, and wondering how it would all play out.
Reagan West and Troy Duran did an amazing job bringing this story to life as they delivered all the heart-stopping suspense, emotion, and steam. I enjoyed listening to them both as they drew me in, and made this story, with all it’s twists and turns, even more exciting.
This is the second book in the Inevitability Duet, a Romantic Suspense. Essa and Farren’s story continues where the first installment left off. Essa is strong, and smart. Farren is protective, and handsome. The storyline is suspenseful, fast-paced, action packed, and captivating, filled with twists and turns. Reagan West and Troy Duran did an amazing job with the narration. This is a great team author/narrators. I enjoyed it! S.R. Grey never disappoints!
Narrators do a good job! Both the male and female narrators gave good performances and did voices for both the male and female characters well. Recommend listening experience.
Interesting story with lots of passion between Essa and Farren. These two are steamy! Love their chemistry and relationship. This is book 2, so I’d recommend reading book 1 to get the full experience of Essa and Farren’s connection. In this book, Essa is kidnapped by a gross evil guy, so Farren sets out to save her and Essa tries to figure out how to save herself. Now, in the first book, I was exasperated about how these characters make some stupid decisions; like not even trying to get away when being kidnapped and not being cautious at all when you know some psycho is out to get you, but I expected it this time around and found it to be more funny than exasperating. Essa is the type of girl that’s leans more towards being naive and gullible, but she does handle being kidnapped pretty well. She’s likable, just a bit clueless. Farren is a total sweetie that really needs to work for someone else; his employers sound like morons. Love his protective nature towards Essa! Love that we get dual POV’s too! The overall story is a bit kooky and I would’ve liked more action, but I was entertained, so I’m going with a 4 rating.
4 Star Review Inevitable Circumstances (Inevitability #2) by S.R.Grey
AUDIO REVIEW
This book picks up where Inevitable Detour finished and I was so glad to learn that there were two narrators this time. The narrators Reagan West and Troy Duran are relatively new to me and they did a good job bringing this fast paced story to life for me. This was a a book filled with danger, secrets and lies. The intrigue and suspense, not to mention the danger kept me on the edge of my seat as I listened to this story.
There are many twists and turns in Inevitable Circumstances as Farren desperately does what has to be done to rescue Essa. His biggest fear is that once he finds her and she learns the truth he will lose the most important thing in his life, her love.
This is a fast paced action story and not everything is as it appears, that will draw you in and keep you captivated from the first chapter. It was a well written story with characters that you cannot help but fall for.
Inevitable Circumstances
Inevitability, Book 2
By: S.R. Grey
Narrated by: Reagan West, Troy Duran
Fast paced, exciting, passionate, SR Grey brings it all to us in the second installment of the Inevitability series! Picking up where book 1 left off, Farren and Essa are happy together. Life is good, and Essa is settling into her barista job. Getting to know your customers is key to good service, so Justin became her “friend”. Clumsy and socially awkward, she takes a liking to him, until he kidnaps her. And our story takes off! Who is Justin working with and why? What will become of Essa? Will Farren find her in time? Grey had me on the edge of my seat! I absolutely loved every minute of the excitement, as I listened to Essa’s strength and will to survive. I loved getting to know Justin and his motivations and watching him prove his worth. And OH MY, Farren! Who wouldn’t fall for the handsome sniper as he does whatever it takes to find his woman. Love, love, love SR Grey’s writing style and stories. Give me more!!!
Grey chooses her narrators carefully and the dual narration team of Reagan West and Troy Duran is perfect. West’s voice is strong and confident, and her personality creation for Essa is spot on. Duran is a favorite, and I love his military hero voice. He knows how to create that alpha strength without being over the top. These two are true to their characters and give us an amazing performance.

I was very excited to listen to this after what happens in the epilogue of the last book. This story picks up where the last one left off. Thank goodness! I wanst sure how long I could wait to get into the nitty gritty and find out what would happen when Farren found out what happened.
I loved the new character introduction. While he isn’t an ideal guy at first. I am glad to see how he comes around. It is nice to see all the characters from the last book as well. I wanted to see how a certain sister and co-worker of Ferran were doing.
This has a lot of suspense as well as some action sequences. The story flows very nicely and easily kept my ears glued to my buds. I did listen to this on audio. We have two narrators this time. Troy Duran, who is a fav of mine, did a wonderful job and I could listen to him all day. Reagan West, who Is not new to me either, did a wonderful job as well in here. Easy listening to this suspenseful story.
