Written in dual POV which gives the reader much more of the feelings and thoughts of the main characters and brings the story closer to the reader. Likeable characters who are well described and develops nicely through the pages. Story flows well and caught me really at some places. Enjoyable to read with the twists. But I hate cliffhangers and this one has.
A fast paced and easy to read story with nice storyline.

A fast paced read with engaging characters. Georgia and Walker are not friends, but they do have to work together. Walker and Georgia’s story starts and I can’t wait to see where it ends up!!
A well developed plot in this interesting adventure filled with suspense, twists and steam, and romance. Trent and Georgia are policer officers with Trent her boss. There is instant attraction and chemistry there. As they work an under cover assignment Walker realizes his initial thoughts of getting to where she was on her fathers merit was wrong. Enjoyable adventure and banter as their relationship progresses. A quick fun action thriller romance ending on a cliffhanger.

If you’re into cop shows you will like this. Suspense, mystery, catching criminals.
For Georgia being a cop is in her blood as her dad is one. She has had a lot happen to her for someone so young so she had this fearless attitude about her, it sometimes gets her into trouble.
Enter her new boss all he is thinking about her is nepotism which isn’t fair because he doesn’t know her but that is soon squashed.
It‘s a good read with a mystery to be solved.

There’s just something about Walker, Georgia doesn’t like the way he treats her. Walker dealing with a promotion and break up can’t help but wonder what his missing about Georgia, when he sees others talking about her. The more he learns about Georgia the more he wonders if he has misjudged her.
In trying to solve the latest crime they have to go under cover as a married couple and they enjoy the friendly bickering a bit too much. When Georgia gets injured, they are both surprised by how they react, and don’t kill each other.
Georgia finds herself opening up to Walker about her past and it explains to him why she doesn’t depend on anyone, and Walker realises how wrongly he judged her. Georgia and Walker try to work out what they are doing while trying to catch a murderer that is closer than anyone realises.
This is my first read by Hanleigh Bradley. I always feel a little nervous with my first read from a new to me author, with Inescapable Fate I didn’t need to worry at all – I loved it. The writing style was easy to get in to and quick to read. The characters are really well written. The storyline has been well thought out.
Georgia Kentley has just had the worst Christmas, her best friend turned boyfriend has just broken up with her, in front of both of their families. She can’t wait to get back to work. But going back to work means meeting a new boss. DCI Walker Trent, who thinks she got to where she is, not on her own merit but because her dad is the DCS.
Will these two be able to work together? Will Walker’s arrogant self get him into trouble? Will Georgia put up with him and the way he treats her? All I can say is, read and find out for yourself.
I can’t wait to read the next part of this series.

Wow! What a great story!
I love jumping into a book without reading the blurb. It’s refreshing to be able to trust an author and know he/she will take you on a fabulous journey. In this case, I love Hanleigh Bradley’s work and just jumped in. I am so glad that I did! The only exception I would recommend is to not begin it at 9pm at night! As soon as I picked it up, I was hooked from page one and couldn’t put in down (and as previously stated stayed up waaaay too late into the night).
In this story, Walker Trent is Georgia Kentley’s new boss at Scotland Yard. DCI Trent makes assumptions about DS Kentley just because she is the police chief’s daughter. Therefore, they don’t get off on the right foot. The story is full of suspense, mystery, sexual tension, and a sprinkle of humor. Loved it and can’t wait for the second book in the series. FYI, it does end on a cliffhanger!
A definite add to your TBR list!

I was so excited to see this new novel by this author and couldn’t wait to read it. She has the uncanny ability to get down to the nitty gritty in her books and this was no different. There are always plenty of twist and a great plot or in this case a cliff hanger that makes your hair stand on end. Her characters in this book rival her others so there is most definitely swoon worthy stuff going on above all of the action and intrigue. Love this kick butt, confident h as she holds her own and is loved by those men in blue who surround her with love and respect. Great story I can’t wait for the rest of the story.
It’s amazing how being victimized can inspire heroism.
So many suffer trama and become crippled by it. Yet a few rise above the fear and pain. Those ones are likely to seek a life of saving others. It’s very easy to identify with that for me. Wonderful depiction of exactly how it streangthens and drives one woman.
