Indigo Nights is great read/listen by Louise Bay. I loved Beth and Dylan they’re such great characters brought to life superbly by two great narrators. The storyline is fantastic and well written as always. If you like your romance hot and sexy then you’ll love this!
I loved INDIGO NIGHTS as much as the Empire States series by Louise Bay that I just finished. She creates the most delicious heroes that need the independent, spirited women she finds for them.
In INDIGO NIGHTS the issue of living with sobriety is a part of the story. We learn about Beth’s vulnerable times and how they contribute to how she is in relationships, especially with Dylan.
Dylan will melt your heart. He’s one of those guys that doesn’t do relationships, has a few one night stands here and there, but when he falls, he’s all in.
The conflicts that arise challenge the trust the relationship is built on. You will enjoy reading about how they meet and navigate through their careers on two continents. It’s romantic and steamy.
5 Beautiful Stars!!!
Yayy!! I been dying for Beth Harrison’s story since I was introduced to her brother Jake in What The Lightning Sees series and then again in the Calling Me series. I loved her from the beginning. We learned about her through her brother’s eyes and then from her new friend’s POV. But, you don’t know her until you get inside her mind and heart.
Beth Harris has been sober for 4 yrs. It hasn’t been an easy time for her. Beth has struggled everyday with her sobriety. Her brother Jake has been there and is the only person she’s let in 100% with her sobriety.
Beth has started baking as a way to help her with her sobriety. It helps that she loves cake. Like me she can eat a whole cake at one time lol. She started her own YouTube channel and she ended up getting a huge fan base. Now, Beth finds herself on a flight to her hometown to Chicago. She could get a deal to get a TV show with her baking. Now, she’s on the plane and everyone’s talking about Mr. 8A. Beth was curious about him. But, was totally unprepared for him. See, Beth hasn’t had sex since she became sober 4 yrs ago. But, one look at Mr. 8A and she’s feeling things she hasn’t in a long time. Then, their flight gets cancelled and he propositions her to a one night stand.
Dylan James is a very successful business man. He lives in Chicago but is working on a new investment in London. He was engaged years ago. His fiance left him for an older wealthier man. But, she left him too soon. Now, he’s extremely wealthy. But, he doesn’t do love or relationships. Dylan does one night stands. When he saw the gorgeous girl in the seat next to him he wanted her. But, he wasn’t prepared for her. When Beth came right out and told him she was an addict and sober he knew she was special.
These 2 have such a connection. Beth was always so open and real with her fight to get and stay sober. Dylan always put her feelings first. Dylan understood her family always came first. She was still trying to figure out this whole new baking show out. Dylan found himself falling for Beth. Which was something he never wanted after his ex. Dylan always made sure to never upset her or push her to do something that made Beth uncomfortable.
This definitely my favorite book by Louise Bay! Jake, Haven, Ash and Luke were all back in this book. We still got to be included in their Sunday night dinners. Beth, Haven and Ash still made me laugh so hard at times. But, I really loved how Louise handled Beth’s sobriety. She made Beth so strong and made sure she stuck with sobriety. I loved how she didn’t write it where it was as easy as pie. But, let you see that Beth did struggle with it and everyday. I was glad she did it that way. And, Dylan. A real man will stand by the one he loves and not push them to do something she’s not willing to do. Dylan always put Beth first. Even when she didn’t want to see him. He had his way of letting her know he was there and waiting for when she’s ready. Dylan and Beth are my #1 favorite couple of 2016! I honestly don’t see that changing. I can’t wait to see what Louise writes next.

I have read the New York series of Louise Bay and this one was totally different. I loved it! the story of Dylan and Beth got straight to my heart. loved reading it from beginning until end. without a doubt, after you’ve read the book, it’ll leave you craving more cake 🙂 it was a great story filled with romance and hot scenes! totally worth the read
Beth and Dylan are cooking up something hot in this Louise Bay must read ! Beth had been keeping parts of herself locked away for years following disaterous life choices she made while struggling with her alcoholism. But now that she has constructed all these walls bringing them back down is no easy feet and it will take a very cocky and sure man to scale the barriers she has erected. From the minute Dylan sees Beth he is intrigued she is all fifties bombshell and when she opens her mouth e is hooked. After a night he is head over heels but with Beth’s walls and trust issues he has a long road to haul and it’s not an easy journey. But things worth having are worth fighting for right? The one thing Beth values above all else(outside of bake goods that is ) is honesty but with things from Dylan’s past lerking in the shadows can they survive the truth bomb?
Read this near a fan! It’s steamy hot! Love it, well written!
