Being in love with someone who doesn’t love you back sucks. Being in love with your brother’s best friend sucks even more, because you know it can never happen. How tragic is that?I’ve been in love with Lincoln Andrews since we were kids and he stuck up for me against my brother and played tea parties with me in the treehouse. I’ve also avoided him for the past year because he broke my heart…more … broke my heart…more than once.
Now we’ve been thrown together at a tropical resort to celebrate my parents’ second wedding, and things are intense and getting worse, no thanks to an insane plan my friends cooked up to get me my dream man.
No one else even comes close to what Linc means to me. He’s always there for me, but is it because he cares for me too—or only because I’m his best friend’s little sister?
It’s time I find out once and for all…but what if our crazy plan blows up in my face and ruins everything?

Brother’s best friend is one of my favourite tropes, so I was already pumped to read this – especially after how much I loved the first book.
Add in cashing the ‘v’ card and I’m a goner.
This story was amazing. I didn’t want to put it down! The push and pull, the slow burn, the tension had me wishing I could read faster. Yet, I didn’t want it to end.
“My entire life had been about Lincoln Bloody Andrews. The way he smiled. The way he touched his hair, and the way his eyes crinkled at the corners when he laughed. The way he looked in a swimsuit, shorts and tank, a suit—in anything, really. The way he always came to my rescue. The way he played with me growing up when no one else would… It had always been Linc. It would always be Linc.”
And boy, you could feel all of this throughout the book. Indie and Lincoln are now in my top 10 couples of all time.
Gonna run to read the next book- I’m hooked!
I really loved Indie’s character but going with that she’s a funny character, kind and loving she is also very very clueless when it comes to men and Lincoln. She couldn’t really see what was right in front of her. Although at times I felt the back and forth between Lincoln and Indie could have messed with anybody’s head!
I thought it was so funny that all the other characters in the story knew how Indie and Lincoln felt about each other, and even better that they began to put bets on whether the relationship would happen or not. I love it when that happens in stories, especially when all other characters knew but they wouldn’t tell each other. I think my one frustration was the only reason Lincoln was pushing Indie away at times was that he didn’t want to ruin his friendship with her brother. So I get it but a conversation could have saved all that.
Lincoln I loved how protective he was but with that came Indie having some bad feelings about herself. He scared away most boys that were interested in her but wouldn’t admit his feelings. So at times that had a negative effect. But I still loved it, I also loved how everyone thought Lincoln had a saviour complex when it came to Indie. It also proved to be true, whenever she was upset or in trouble he was right there.
Jack, he was the best comic relief in this book! He was Indie’s gay best friend and they pretended to be together so they could make Lincoln jealous. It was so funny, I laughed out loud a few times whilst reading it. He was a great character. He should get his own book.
We even had an appearance of Ryder and Bailey! I loved seeing the two characters, I think the only thing I missed is there wasn’t as much Bailey and Indie time but the story was good and I loved the characters and romance.
A well written enjoyable romance. Indie has loved Linc her brothers best friend for years but can never get him to notice her. Linc has loved Indie for years but afraid of losing his best friend and second family. Lindie is hurt from Linc and has stayed away for a year till her parents vow renewal on a tropical resort. Her best friend Jack who is gay decides to go as her date in hopes of making Linc jealous and step up. A great entertaining romance with great cast of characters and secondaries having me addicted in hopes of their HEA.

A terrific romantic comedy about Indie a young woman who has always been in love with Linc, her brother’s best friend and Linc a young man who has been in love with a girl since he was little. R. Linda has a way of creating stories with so much heart and emotion. Full of heartache, doubt, flirtatious banter, laughter, friendship, and love. A great book that readers won’t be able to put down.

Is there a way I can include just one giant flame emoji in this review? Some heart eyes? I need a fan just to cool off so I can pull myself together to write this review!
I fell fast and hard for Ryder Freaking Jones in BAILEY AND THE BAD BOY, so I knew any male R. Linda wrote promised to destroy me in the best way possible. Lincoln Andrews was that – the best, most deliciously swoon-worthy character I have read (I still love you, Ryder.. but.. Linc!). More on him later!
The relationship between Indie and Bailey was so genuine that it was impossible to pretend I wasn’t one of them, or at least part of their story. The way with which R. Linda describes Indie’s unrequited love, her heartache and desperation, pulled me into this page-turner with a serious reading addiction. I could not get enough. Ryder’s back, in addition to his insanely hot lip-ring biting and stoic demeanor that suggests you’re done for if you mess with him, all while protecting his love.
But it’s Linc who left my heart and stomach a fluttering mess. The way R. Linda wrote him, and every scene even about him had me forcing myself not to peek ahead. The ebb and flow, the beautiful torture the characters feel for one another, was incredible! I was there with them, feeling it all, rooting for Indie and wishing I was her.
This book takes the beautiful innocence we knew from many of these characters in BATBB and applies a passion and sensual urgency we craved, leaving us desperate for more because of R. Linda’s incredible talent, and eagerly awaiting more from this series.
If you want to read a sweet, seductive #Romance, do yourself a favor and buy this entire series. You will want to read it again and again!
I just wanted to smack both characters for not manning up and letting each other know how they felt. Both were just so clueless but I’m glad they got it right in the end.
This is my second book by this author, second book in the series, and I really enjoyed it. The story line and characters kept me interested in the story from the first word to the last. I loved getting a look at the couple from the first book, seeing where their relationship had taken them. I really loved getting to read how crazy the road was for Indie and Linc as they came to terms with their feelings for one another. The things that Jack did surprise, thrilled, infuriated and baffled me. He is a crazy, live-out-loud kind of character. There were moments in this book that had me screaming or laughing out loud. I cheered for, shouted and b****ed at the characters many times. My husband though I was loosing my mind. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book.
She has always been in love with her brother best friend. He was so out of bounds but that did not stop her. He was always there for her even against her brother. Now her friends wants her to take that step. Now they are at the same wedding. Will she have him finally? Read to find out

Oh all the misunderstandings! Super nice and funny read.
We all know that if people would try to talk to each other earlier, more often all the troubles, misunderstandings and heartbreak could be avoided. We know, but we tend to forget about it.
After previous part I couldn’t wait to read this and see what kind of story it will be. Just simply loved story-line and completely new set up for the coming events. From the previous part it was obvious Linc had feelings for Indie but both of them were sending mixed signals to each other. I loved how funny this one was in comparison to all the dramatic events in previous book. I absolutely adore their nicknames for each other and I love Jack.
This story was sweet, funny and romantic at times.I enjoyed reading Indie and Lincoln story. This is the second book in the series.

A really exciting, fun, emotional, surprising and so much more. I would read book 1 first. She went through a lot to get what she wanted and needed. I recommend it. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.
Indie and the Brother’s Best Friend was a great, enjoyable, sweet romance w/off the charts chemistry between Indie and Linc. Loved Jack (Indie’s BFF).
Loved the storyline and the characters. Loved the bond between Linc and Indie.
This book is well written, fast paced and filled with humor. I would love to read more about them.

I don’t know what to say about this series but it’s becoming one of my favourites very fast. After i read Bailey and the Bad Boy i was kind of thinking yes these are the stories i love and then to you get Indie and the Best Friends Brother i wasn’t sure it could be as good. Well i was presently surprised it was on the same level and i loved it.
I dont know what it is about R Linda’s writing but it’s so easy to read and get so into the story before you know it your half way through the book and already thinking that you don’t want it to end to the point that i took my time reading this book i was loving every part of this story.
I really loved how these two characters had been around each other from thier childhood and the fact that Lincoln was Indies brothers best friend you could tell that they could have a very intense relationship but it seemed that between the two of them with the push and pull of thier feelings for each other made it such an awesome story.
If it wasn’t thier families getting in the way it was the brother or a fiancé and the fact if you have read the first book you would know how much indie loved Lincoln and it wasn’t just a school girl crush.
Absolutely loved everything about this story and this series. If your looking for amazing writing and an awesome NA story that is really innocent and is told so well then you need to get this book. I can’t believe this is only R Linda’s second novel as the writing is so good.
Can’t wait for the next book in the series big 5 stars for this novel and 5 massive stars for an awesome series so far.
