A western romance as wild as they come….As a 21 year-old woman, Indiana is shocked and furious at the court order giving her oldest brother guardianship over her. He is determined to tame her spirit and bring her to live with him in Los Angeles, where she and the money she is inheriting will be incredibly useful to his plans for his own future. So Indiana turns to the only place she feels at … feels at home—the wide-open spaces of Montana…but a trip through Spirit Pass takes Indiana further than she ever expected… by almost a hundred and fifty years.
Jonathan Tucker is tough, but he’s fair. He and his twin brother have a successful horse and cattle ranch in the harsh Montana territory. When rustlers try to steal his cattle and shoot one of his men, he is grateful to the young boy named Indy who comes to the rescue, even if the boy does have an attitude, so Jonathan gives him a job. The boy certainly seems to know what he’s doin’. The way he’s trained his horses and dogs is almost spooky. Secrets will out though, and it isn’t long ‘til Jonathan finds out the ‘boy’ is in fact a fully grown, independent female who is not afraid to voice her opinions and stick to ‘em! She’s as wild as the untamed land around them and he is determined she’ll be his wife.
Life can be dangerous though, and when Indiana is taken from him, Jonathan finds he will do whatever it takes to bring Indy home for good, even if it means following her to the future.

Will she find more than the expected after she crosses the bridge …
As I am locked at home with my broken leg, I have decided to offer myself a bit of wandering time in between the arcs I have scheduled for this month.
While I checked my kindle shelves, I realized I have read this book a long time ago but never left a review.
Time to rectify that.
I discovered the author with her aliens/shifters series, and it was only after I have nearly gone through them all that I discovered this one.
Well the two books in this series, as the author has slowed a lot, I do not know if the third book will ever be published. But I would love to.
As now I mostly read Historical romances, time travel romances are sometime among them, and if I reflect about them, I think this book was my first foray in this category.
Sure the jump is less impressive than a modern characters landing in medieval times, yet the world had still nearly the same expectations and views about women.
Indy is on the run, she has to escape her brother’s scheming way, thus how she landed roaming the mountains of the wild west. She grew up in a ranch and knows how to take care of herself and can work the land as well as any man.
Jonathan with his twin made of their family ranch a success. Life is not easy and they face many trials in between rustlers, and the harsh life in the wild but he is content with it.
When they first meet he believes her to be just boy with an attitude, one who unsettled him. When her true identity comes to light, he jumps into the fray to claim the beautiful woman hiding under those strange clothes.
Sure, the male characters are rather stereotypical, with their caveman-Tarzan-like-alpha man vibe, taking charge of everything but the heroine is no damsel in distress, she might be in hiding but she fights back and gives back as much she receives, thus how she wins her man’s trust and faith.
And sometime, I just want to enjoy the ride, sit tight and get carried away with the story.
And with this author, I know I will always have fun, so I savor the journey as it is always mixed with steamy times and witty bangers.
onscreen detailed lovemaking scenes.

Wild West cowboy meets modern day female rancher. Time travel romance is not a favorite of mine but I liked this book. Indiana is a strong, honest, hard working young lady that discovers that she lost the ranch she loves with the death of her grandfather. Jonathan Tucker owns the Twin Rivers ranch with his twin brother, Jacob. Insta love but it works.
Love this authors books. I was tidying up my iPad and decided to reread this series. I had forgotten how good it was and read it all in one sitting.
Well written, fun and interesting time travel story with likable main characters and other characters. All except for Indiana’s brothers, what rat-bags, especially Hayden.
Book one is about Indiana who goes out riding to get away from her obnoxious older brothers who have sold her grandfather’s ranch out from under her. He eldest brother now has guardianship over her and her fortune.
When she ends up going through Spirit Pass she finds herself 150 years in the past and a whole new life is available to her.
Pretending to be a boy she gets a job on a ranch run by two brothers. Jonathon and Jacob are both lovely men even though they have the mindset for that time.
Love how this ended with Indiana looking after herself and will be reading book two asap.
So interesting to think how different things were only 150 years ago and also sad to know what will be happening. Cannot imagine how weird it would be coming into the future for Jonathan and Jacob.
Read this years ago and reviewed it then but reviews are missing.
