New York Times Bestseller Corinne Michaels brings you an emotional second chance love story.Book 1 of 2 in the Indefinite DuetThe day he said he’d never love me is when I vowed Quinn Miller would never break my heart again. I wanted a family—but he wouldn’t give me that. As one of the top embryologists in the country, I’ve spent years creating babies in the lab for other people as my own dreams … the lab for other people as my own dreams of motherhood fade.
I’m done waiting. I decide to start the journey to parenthood alone.
Then Quinn strolls back into my life, with all the finesse of a hurricane. I’m a fool to think I don’t want him anymore, and one reckless night of passion ends with me pregnant by the man I swore I’d never love again.
Now he doesn’t just want my heart, he wants it all. The baby. Love. A life where we’re happy.
But even as he promises me the future I always desired, I can’t help but fear that something will rip him away from me again.
This time . . . indefinitely.
This is a part of the Salvation series but can be read as a standalone duet.

It’s clear from the prologue that Quinn and Ashton have a history. There is a lot of love, but also a lot of hurt. Ashton is ready to settle down and start a family and Ashton just can’t imagine leaving the service and not being a SEAL anymore. So when his next deployment is announced, it’s just too much. I have to say the start of this book really hits you hard. The way the author writes these scenes are so emotional. Your heart breaks for both of these characters.
Fast forward six months later. I have to say I love Ashton’s character. She has an amazing career and is good at what she does. I love when we get strong female characters like this one. Ashton has been doing really well at work and doing her best to move on. Quinn suddenly showing up definitely wasn’t something she expected.
In all honesty, this is where the book kind of dragged for me a bit. I mean, of course, I get that Quinn is going to fight to get Ashton back. For me it took just a bit too long before things started moving forward. There was a lot of bickering and being annoyed with each other. In some ways it was cute that he was so determined, but at certain points I felt like he needed to back off. That being said, Ashton could be annoying at times with pushing him away and pulling him in again. And don’t get me started on her parents, who in my eyes were kind of rude.
But okay, after that gets moving, I really started enjoying their journey. Quinn is really cute and I loved the feelings Ashton was trying not to let in. I really see them making it and I loved them really trying to compromise. So many sweet and even some steamy moments. I can’t give away too many details without spoiling anything, so let’s just say Indefinite is a book you need to pick up.
The last third of this book I just couldn’t put it down. I could tell something was about to happen, but just not what. Until the ending hit us and left us really hanging!! An ending that makes you want to pick up the next book even if it’s two in the morning. Corinne Michaels definitely took me by surprise with that ending and I can’t wait to read the second part of this duet.
This book is perfection. I am so happy that Corinne decided to go back to the Salvation series. This is part 1 of Ashton and Quinn’s story.
I would recommend reading the other books first to get the full experience, but honestly, you can start here…. you just might have some spoilers from the previous books in the series.
The Ashton we have seen throughout the other books in the Salvation series is a strong, fierce, doesn’t take any crap type of girl. In Indefinite, the author shows you the other side of Ashton that we haven’t seen before.
“Of course, we fight. That’s who we are. He’s an alpha asshole and I’m a stubborn bitch. However, when we are both just us . . . it is magical.” -Ashton
I honestly couldn’t put this book down and had it finished in less than 24 hours.
Reading this series has been like coming home every time a new book is released. Seeing familiar faces, visiting old friends, and just the sense of “home” that you get every time you open the book.
“I’m ready for the fight of my life, and no matter what scars I end up with, I won’t care as long as I win her back.”
I’ve longed to dive into Quinn’s story. This book couldn’t come fast enough, and when it did time stood still for me. The tension and the chemistry between Ashton and him were addicting. I couldn’t flip the pages fast enough. Their banter was hot, the angst was strong, and the love was off the charts.
“We mess everything up and then pretend it never happened. Only, this time, I won’t be able to pretend. I walked away with more than just the proverbial T-shirt.”
Sometimes you just wanted to grab hold of these two and make them talk. They fought for each other, with each other, and their love was never-ending. Corinne delivered a phenomenal story for us. I’m so ready for the second part of this duet. Any fan of the Salvation series needs this book! If you haven’t picked up a book from her, then you need to start right now.
Corinne Michaels is back with the angst! Indefinite is a ride with all the feels. This second chance romance has everything and will leave your heart racing and your mind reeling!
Read Indefinite…they said.
You are going to enjoy this book, laugh a little, and be okay after the ending… they said.
What a lie!
Indefinite is an emotional and intense second chance romance about redemption, sacrifices, friendship, and power of love. I devoured Quinn and Ashton story at one go. Corinne Michaels broke my heart, then filled with so much happiness and hope to finally break it again. Just like that.
Quinn and Ashton are very stubborn and strongminded people. I could feel their unconditional love and devotion toward themselves but their priorities were completely different. For year Ashton waited, filled with hope and fear for Quinn to finally come back home and start a family with her. But Quinn mind and heart belong to his men and work, to serve a country. Quinn knows he can’t give Ashton her dreams. He needs to have his head in a game because when your life is in a dangerous you want to spare your beloved ones from potential pain and hurt. So he lets her go….but
for how long?
And then the tables turn.
Ashton, alone, starts to make her dream come true but Quinn comes back, changed and filled with determination. Determination to make Ashton his. And boy…he possessed my heart with his romantic gestures, dirty talks, and manly possessiveness. Will he crush Ashton walls and proves his feelings? Will they both get what they want the most?
Corinne Michaels likes to play with readers hearts. Mine was filled with romantic feelings then torn apart by shark teeth. Because of the ending…
The author owned my mind and soul with beautiful words, amazing characters, and a realistic plot. I gladly came back to Salvation world and their heroes. I devoured Ashton and Quinn story and can’t wait for the second book!
Indefinite by Corinne Michaels is the first book in her brand new Indefinite Duet and the sixth book in the overall Salvation series. The story of Quinn and Ashton is a little heartbreaking. There is so much angst and back and forth between these two characters. They are so obviously in love with each other. As a reader we get the benefit of both their POV’s, but individually they are clueless sometimes to what the other one is thinking, feeling, and going through. Ashton is a strong woman – she is adamant about not backing down – even when Quinn is so adamant about changing and loving her. The bare bones of the duet is a second chance romance (at least so far) but there’s also an undercurrent of danger with Quinn’s new job and run towards danger SEAL tendencies. This definitely ends on a hell of a cliffhanger so brace yourself. However, book two in the duet, Infinite, is expected to release on July 16, 2019 so it’s not too far out. Enjoy!
Corinne Michael’s is back with a book that will make you well shake your head with the hero. In Ashton’s eyes Quinn is not all into their relationship but more into being a Seal then a boyfriend. After months of not having her it was interesting to see how Corinne Michael’s will make Quinn work to win her back. The chemistry is still there but hotter than ever and this is just the first part by this clever author. Not only do we see these two but we see a little bit of the men from the Salvation series and the women. All in all this is will blow you away when you start it and well how brave Ashton is in it. Loved it.
“I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own.”
Another 5 Star out of this world review
Corinne Michaels makes my heart thump hard every single time with her raw and emotional stories. I always know she’s going to make my heart ache badly so I always anticipate and prepare myself with her beautiful words.
Both Ashton and Quinn certainly took me on one emotional roller coaster. This series is EVERYTHING!
I have no other words to describe how great this book was!!
Like first, omg! she finally had done Quinn’s story, that I was dying to know what happened to him..
Rewind, we me et Quinn in the other Salvation series, which ofc you NEED to read because come on who don’t love these guys lol.. OFC we also meet Ashton. We watch there story unfold through book 6 and we finally see how there relationship was built from the beginning and the sacrifices that they both had to make. Quinn is this hard headed person who don’t want to say the truth because he don’t want to hurt anyone, so when he resigns up for the service and Ashton don’t approve, things take a turn for the worst. He lets her go the worst possible way. So Ashton starts to live her life without Quinn and she’s doing fine, til one day, he comes back knocking on her mommas door. From There we are put in an emotional rollercoaster ride because we feel the heartache that they both go through. I devoured this story in one sitting and couldn’t put it down!
Loved seeing ofc everyone from the Salvation series!!! Like GAHHHHH!!!!
Cant wait for Infinite! Bring it on Corinne I need more!!!
Call sign “Ladykiller”. “Yeah, because after a day with you, most women want to kill themselves…or you.” I just love this series…was so wonderful to get back to this crew and their banter. I have been waiting on this book for a very long time and it did not disappoint. I want the second book in the series now. OMG like right now!!!!!!
One of my favorite series of Corinne’s is the SEALs and I’m happy to be back even for just a little bit.
Quinn’s never been one of my most loved characters but that’s all changed! He stole and shattered my heart. And Ashton has her stuff together, marginally.
Not everything happens how she wants it to. Nothing goes the way Quinn thinks it should. Now he wants to change the outcome but she’s had enough. It’s fun to watch these two bicker their way around each other. Quinn has some super swoony lines right out of no where, Ashton doesn’t always fall for them. How will their story end? And goodness sakes! What a way to leave us hanging! She’s pregnant? How’d that happen…
Indefinite.. So good!
Although it can be read as a Standalone, it part of Corinne’s amazing Salvation Series! We get pieces of the other couples we loved so much!
Ashton and Quinn’s story leaves you on edge throughout.. filled with suspense and crossing your fingers that they two will work things out and become a couple again.
Ashton and embryologist in New York, and Quinn- a Navy Seal who is still active have always had a different idea of what their future would hold and never really discussing a future with each other although they’d been an item for three years. Both living in different states and both not wanting to give up their own careers. Prior to his last deployment- Quinn made it easy for Ashton to end things and move on with her own life and the plan she has for her future doesn’t include a husband or boyfriend.. just a baby and donor she will choose from a book. With her best friends support, and a weekend home to Jersey, the last thing Ashton expected was to for Quinn to show up on her parents doorstep hoping for another chance.
Ashton doesn’t make things easy on him and will not let him sidetrack her from her plan. Regardless of how much she loves him..
Not all plans are meant to be and when Quinn decides to change things up, to change for Ashton.. some changes are meant to be while others we have no control over… I could go on and on about how much I love this story, and how I can’t wait for more, however I’d start giving spoilers..
So much Chemistry, Angst, humor and suspense..
I could not wait to read this book !! Ashton and Quinn finally , YES !! Once again CM delivers all the feels and leaves you on the edge of your seat with this ending ! The next book in this duet will be out pretty soon even though I need it NOW ! If your looking for an amazing , addicting and steamy read this is it !!!
I went into this book prepared to feel all the feels. The blurb of this book caught me and had me wanting more right from the start. I’m a sucker for a good second chance romance and when you add a baby into the mix I’m a goner. This book definitely got me right in the gut and I NEED the next one so I know how this all plays out.
I was gripped by this story. Positively captivated from the first page and I didn’t want the story to end. And when it did? You can bet I wanted to throw my kindle because I NEEDED more of this story and it wasn’t there.
I loved watching Ashton and Quinn with each other. I felt their relationship really grew in this book and it was all so organic and believable. It wasn’t all sunshine and roses-they each had their own fair share of hurdles to get through-and it was so satisfying to witness them do that. I was cheering them on as I swooned from the sidelines andQuinn stole my heart right along with Ashton’s.
The writing in this book is fabulous. I felt like I was right there with Quinn and Ashton (and their friends) throughout this story. The pacing completely worked for me-nothing felt rushed in any way or dragged for me. I will say that my heart was definitely racing at the end.
Indefinite is a great example of why Corinne Michaels is a best selling author. This book hit me right in the gut and I can’t wait for the next book. I absolutely recommend this title.
Once again I’ve been pulled into a story and ARRGHHH!! I need to know what happens next!
Indefinite is a duet so the book does end on a cliffhanger.
Ashton and Quinn have been together for three years and Ash is tired of waiting to start her life. Quinn promised he wouldn’t reenlist. He wouldn’t go on another mission. Yet he lied once again. And so she’s decided to walk away this time for good.
But when Quinn shows up at the end of his mission, injured and not giving up on the possibility of having it all with Ash… She just doesn’t know if she should believe him. Besides, she’s made some big plans…
This book takes you on an emotional rollercoaster and you find yourself not being about to put the book down. All I can say is GIMME GIMME GIMME!!! I need to know what happens next!
4 Cheesesteak CROWNS
Indefinite, by the end, had my chomping at the bit for book 2. I’m a sucker for a suspense romance, and the mystery at the end. Sign me up.
Ashton and Quinn are, I believe secondary characters from previous books (ones I didn’t read simply because I found Corinne Michaels after they were published). They have their issues, ones they spenda majority of the book overcoming. Overall, it felt like I was being told about their love as an outside observer versus feeling their love. This might very well be because I haven’t read the other books. To be clear, plot wise and character wise, YOU DO NOT NEED TO READ THEM, but I felt like maybe my lack of emotional connection to them might have been that I didn’t read the previous ones. So I’m going to say this is a me not the book.
I did enjoy them as a couple. Quinn is all the swoony things, and Ashton has a fire. She can be a bit wishy-washy with her man but who isn’t when you love a man. It is hard to so no or resist what your heart wants.
The story at times moved a bit slow for me, but by the end I couldn’t read fast enough. I need to know all the things, and Corinne might be an evil genius with how she chose to write the ending.
Was this a favorite? No, but it was well written with likable characters, a romantic storyline, and a suspenseful ending that has me needing answers in book 2.
ARC received in exchange for an honest review
OMG!! Finally Quinn and Ashton story has arrived!!! YESSS!!! And it was well worth the wait!!
Corinne Michaels has once again taken us back into the incredible world of the salvation Series and I am so thankful for this re-entry. I have truly missed these Navy Seals. The Salvation series truly is my favorite series of hers. With the Salvation series, she has created this world with these everlasting characters, whose stories she tells with such depth, humility, and emotion, and you never want their stories to end. Indefinite is no different than the previous books in the series, and is an excellent addition to this series. Despite being Part 1 of a Duet, Indefinite has it all…heartache, laughter, pain, fun, OMG moments, and a whole lot of joy. You will not be able to stop reading this one once you start.
Indefinite takes you on this wonderful journey that begins to give you that fulsome picture of just who Ashton and Quinn are, and why these two are perfect for each other, even though Ashton is trying hard to fight against it, since she feels that Quinn has hurt her one too many times in the past. Indefinite allows you to see that Ashton is not just the fun loving, tell it like it is friend to Catherine and Gretchen, but she is intelligent, beautiful, and she wants a family. However, none of this means that Ashton is not a real spitfire, because that she is, and that is one of the many things that Quinn loves about her. Only now, he just needs her to give him another chance to prove it to her. We also get to see that Quinn is not this mysterious guy who is only out for nights of fun, but that he has real reasons for why he says and does the things that he does, and why he feels he isn’t good enough for Ashton. My goodness these two are perfection together, and Corinne Michaels’ storytelling skills really shine when she takes her readers on the roller coaster ride that is Ashton and Quinn’ story. Believe me, it is one that you will not want to get off. I definitely did not want to…I am still hanging on…literally!!
Indefinite is a beautifully told story filled with such emotion, heartache, love, laughter, friendship, and mystery. I highly recommend this one. I cannot wait for Infinite. If you have not read any of the books in the Salvation series, I highly recommend that you begin reading them NOW!!

A second chance romance with all the angst! Corinne Michaels always delivers the feels…and this one? It’s got a sexy former SEAL who’s determined to get his girl back. SWOON.
Coming back to the Salvation Series feels like coming home. This is one of my favorite series ever. And this latest installment did not disappoint. Quinn and Ashton’s story has been a long time coming and I couldn’t be more excited!
It usually takes me a few chapters to fall into the feelings of a book, but not this one. I was fully immersed on the first page. Quinn and Ashton are both stubborn and steadfast and absolutely perfect for each other despite their rocky history. Ashton has given up and decided to move on when Quinn crashes back into her world with a new outlook on life.
These two… I love them, but I wanted to throttle both of them a few times. Quinn especially. But it makes their journey more real. There is heartache and angst and laughs and the banter is on point. Ashton is awesome. It’s quite possible she’s my favorite of the females in this series. And Quinn won me over, not that it took much convincing. He’s charming and determined and swoony and sexy and funny and he’s an idiot and he’s… He’s just everything.
We also get to see the rest of the crew too, which was fantastic. I love all of them so it was nice to have everyone around again. And it really makes me want to re-read the whole series. Again.
This is book 1 of a duet, so you know what that means. And if you’ve read anything from Corinne Michaels before, then you also know there is a high likelihood that it’s going to be a doozy. And it so was. God. She is the queen of sucking you in and making you feel all warm and lovey-dovey before delivering a gut-wrenching blow. And I love her for making me feel all the things.
This is a top read of the year for me. Now let the countdown to Infinite begin.
Author Corinne Michaels writes emotional, intensely addicting, poignant stories that sweep you away with her words! Her stories are fresh and beautiful.
Indefinite is book 6 in the Salvation series. Although it can be read as book one in the duet, I highly recommend the whole series. It is chock full of alpha Navy Seals and the strong women that love them.
Indefinite is Quinn and Ashton’s story. It ends in a cliffhanger and concludes shortly in Infinite (Indefinite Duet Book 2).
