First I need to say, I was the first person to have the pleasure of meeting Senator Drake Prescott, and it’s a good thing I claimed him before anyone else. I devoured this book and often threatened the author for more as I beta read every page the moment it was sent to my Kindle. From the first page to the last page, I loved every word that brought us Drake and Lucy’s story. The best laid out plans mean nothing once fate decides to step in. Drake and Lucy discover this first hand. I loved this book, and can’t wait to read more on the Prescotts. #DrakeisMINE #ThePowerofaRedBra
GREAT book, FABULOUS writing!
Everything you want in a politician is wrapped up in a beautiful Prescott package. Kind, caring, and sexy make Drake Prescott a threat. Honesty, morals, and a need to make this country great make him a miracle.
Falling in love made him vulnerable. She makes him stronger. But is it enough?
Sacrifices must be made. Lives will be changed. Will love survive?
I enjoyed Lucy and Drake’s descent. Falling in love is an amazing experience even if you have outside forces pulling you apart. Their journey is tense but has a happy ending.
3.5 stars
Overall this was a good read. There were a few grammar, tense and sentence flow issues, but the story was overall well-written and the main and supporting characters were all pretty likeable. I enjoyed the plot line as well as the duo POVs were used effectively by the author. I was definitely guessing about the heroine’s secret past, but was pleasantly surprised at how it came about and the epilogue concluded the story line nicely. I would recommend and look forward to reading more about the other Prescott children.
This Book is so much more then the title. Lucy, she has her dream job and her Best Friend Mason, what more could she ask for. Drake is the Incumbent for the Republican party. He runs a clean and honest Champaign. All it took to bring these two people from different circles together is for Drake being a guess speaker for Lucy’s High School History Class. When you least expect it love will find you. Lucy has a past she put behind her but being on Drake’s arm is stirring that past up. Can Drake understands her pass or will he have to give up the love of his life for his career. What I can say is these two have an amazing chemistry together, love that we get behind the scenes of a Political Candidate and we get to see him Drake as the man. Grab this book and Meet Drake Prescott you will not regret it.
I read this book in 1 sitting, it “had me” from the first paragraph. It was a delightful romance from the first time they meet to the very last page. Not only are the main characters, Drake & Lucy, great – the whole Prescott family is fun. (Looking forward to reading future books about the Prescott’s)

Great story line
Even though this is fiction it is so unrealistic but still read the entire book.
I was not blown away by this book. Too many typos through out. I wish it had been proofread properly prior to publishing.
Started reading the series!
Good story, enjoyed the characters. However, even though I do agree with author’s political views; do wish they were left out. I read fiction to get away from reality; so I don’t need to see someones political views. Like I used to enjoy watching the academy awards or watching NFL until stupid over paid players and over paid actors start putting in their two cents about their personal opnion
Fun political intrigue with lots of steam
Somewhat original twist to “billionaire” stories.
Incumbent was such a fun book. Drake and Lucy are a great couple and you feel for her as she tries to keep her secret and you feel her love protecting Drake. Their attraction and chemistry is amazing!
Unimpressed but not repulsed. He’s too good to be true, especially as a mature adult and a politician no less. She is at times annoyingly naive and I didn’t find much actual chemistry. Good try but misses the mark for me.
Not very exciting
Best book ever
boring
Too much sex
Too predictable and sappy.
