A new, sexy standalone novel from #1 New York Times Bestseller, Vi Keeland.
Terminated for inappropriate behavior.
I couldn’t believe the letter in my hands.
Nine years. Nine damn years I’d worked my butt off for one of the largest companies in America, and I was fired with a form letter when I returned home from a week in Aruba.
All because of a video taken when I was on vacation with my … because of a video taken when I was on vacation with my friends—a private video made on my private time. Or so I thought…
Pissed off, I cracked open a bottle of wine and wrote my own letter to the gazillionaire CEO telling him what I thought of his company and its practices.
I didn’t think he’d actually respond.
I certainly never thought I’d suddenly become pen pals with the rich jerk.
Eventually, he realized I’d been wronged and made sure I got my job back.
Only…it wasn’t the only thing Grant Lexington wanted to do for me.
But there was no way I was getting involved with my boss’s boss’s boss. Even if he was ridiculously gorgeous, confident, and charming.
It would be completely wrong, inappropriate even.
Sort of like the video that got me into trouble to begin with.
Two wrongs don’t make a right.
But sometimes it’s twice as fun.

God i loved Grant and Ireland and their story it will be one that i won’t forget it was deep and loving and all the feels.
The one thing i loved about this book was the instant connection between these two and not just all the sexual chemistry which was very hot, but i really loved how they were drawn to each other and i loved finding out how they could connect because of their pasts.
There past were quite different but i loved how we knew something happened with Grant and i loved how it took us nearly the whole book to find out. He was such a good character and i really did love him and couldn’t understand the reasons for the way he was and lived his life.
I loved Ireland as well she was a sassy and bold character and considering how these two met you knew you were In for a fun ride. Ireland was sweet and caring and you just wanted the best for her.
This book was such a great story of love and giving each other a life to live in the moment and not look back at the past, i loved Pops, i loved Leo and Mia and all the characters in this book.
Vi keeland has done it again and proves why i would pick up any of her books without reading a blurb absolutely loved everything about it.
Firing off an email to your boss’ boss’ boss for wrongful dismissal is definitely a way to start. Smarting off to said boss’ boss’ boss because you’re a little drunk just makes it more fun. And if the guy happened to be Grant Lexington, you would only hope that it would turn out the way it did for Ireland!
I love a good awkward meeting between the characters, and this one had that covered.
A sweet romance, with a dash of sexy, and a smidgen of angst was just what I needed to read. Watching Grant and Ireland’s story unfold was amazing!

Things start off with an unfortunate series of events that leads to a truly hilarious moment. From there the pair develop this ease about them that feels so natural and intriguing. There are fun supporting characters full of spunk and sass. u2063

The turn(s) things take for Grant and Ireland keeps you on the edge of your seat speculating. Then when you finally get to that defining moment, it’s a gut punch to your emotional stability. If there’s anything to take from this book, it is to expect the unexpected. u2063

A great story as usual from Vi.
Inappropriate by Vi Keeland is that office romance that has the feels, steam, rawness, heartbreak, angst , drama and HEA that easily makes this another hit by author Vi Keeland.
Ireland and Grant have this spark, this sizzle between them that makes you root for them throughout the story. The start to their relationship was unusual yet just grew from there. I loved the witty, sexy banter they had; the emotional rollercoaster romance and the sweet, spicy chemistry. The plot works with the moments of humor that work well. I liked the characters in this story. It’s not an instant love story but more where their love grows after they get to know each other which I liked. Ireland and Grant make this a amazing read!!!
My Rating: 4.5 stars *******
This quickly moved to the top of my list of favorite Vi Keeland books as I was thoroughly entertained by these two. I found myself grinning at Ireland’s spark and natural fire as Gabe pursues her with a curiosity long forgotten.
Ireland is furious at having lost her hard earned job because of a photo taken while on vacation and posted on a private social media profile. Fueled by exhaustion and alcohol, she pens a scathing email to the head of the media company. In the morning, she regrets so many of those decisions and just wants her job back, nothing a little groveling might not have solved, without the addition that late night email to her boss’s boss’s boss.
Gabe is intrigued by Ireland. He has tended to stay out of the media side of the business, but she gives him a good reason to start checking out what is going on in that building. But because he does have a position of power in the company he has to tread carefully to learn more about this woman who has piqued his interest.
They each have interesting backstories that are impacting them in different ways. Ireland has accepted much of her past, choosing to grow from her adversity rather than be defined by it. Gabe accepts parts of his past, but has some major baggage keeping him from moving on. As his history is revealed I came to feel even more sympathy for him and had a new understanding for some of his behaviors and attitudes towards relationships.
I loved how this combined workplace romance with a deeper emotional journey. Even as the story was diving to some pretty deep emotional points, I also felt like there was a lot of fun to their journey, and it left me feeling refreshed after a bit of a reading slump.
This book had me laughing my butt off and swooning over all the romance! Grant and Ireland were just too cute and hilarious together and their banter was awesome! This book gave me all the feels and was filled with emotions, sexiness, laughter and love! I loved their story and Vi has yet again knocked it out of the park! I love the way I feel when I’m reading her stories!
Rom-com done well. That’s what Vi Keeland does. She adds in a perfect dose of snark, intelligence, comic relief, and some sizzling chemistry to fry the battery of your kindle. It usually takes me a bit to warm up some of the men in power positions, but there was something about Grant that had me in the first email. He wasn’t overly arrogant and just a touch on the side of impulsive to make me love every aspect of him. And Ireland…I totally admire her fire and intelligence. She’s a firecracker for sure!
Keeland makes us love Ireland and Grant – quirks, flaws and all and wish we could walk in their shoes for just a few hours. Add in a woman who has some incredibly large alcohol-induced lady balls and something so inappropriate has never seems so appropriate!
Excuse me while I stare longingly into this model’s eyes…….
Okay, back to normal (No, not really!)
Ireland St. James is not having a great time in her life. Suddenly fired from a job she loved, all from a picture taken while she was on vacation, sparks her to take action–an action involving telling off the President of her company where he can shove it. But instead of telling her where she can go, Ireland’s boss is suddenly intrigued by this feisty redhead and stops at nothing to meet her.
When Grant Lexington comes face to face with Ireland St. James, he’s feeling a lot of emotions–surprise, eagerness, amused. What he didn’t expect was to develop a huge attraction to his former employee. But Grant is all business and needs to keep this relationship strictly on the up and up. But what the heart wants, the heart will get.
Fire explodes between these two characters when they come together–developing a wonderful relationship that Vi Keeland does an amazing job of exploring. Through the good times and bad, Ireland and Grant manage to fight together (and apart) for love in this page-turner that will leave you breathless, and make you swoon.
I should know by now after being a fan of Vi Keeland for many years that her books are not rom-coms. Most however starts off pretty funny especially how the main characters meet.
Inappropriate starts with an inappropriate email that Ireland sent to Grant, the CEO of the company she works at. And after their meet cute, the story really picks up speed at a more serious tone. Both, Ireland and Grant have pasts that are not easily overcome but together they slowly navigate their past pains, regrets, and heartaches. I was doing so well through most of the book without turning into a complete sobbing mess but what did me in was when Grant wrote his first and last letter to…Okay, now you should go get this book and find out for yourself. 😉
When Vi Keeland puts out a new book I read it. Period. Inappropriate is the perfect blend of romance and humor and full of swoony moments you don’t want to miss.
5 “All I Need Is You” stars!
Ireland Saint James lives in Los Angeles and works as an on-air reporter/ newscaster for Lexington Industries early morning segment. While away on a week vacation in paradise celebrating her best friend Mia’s upcoming wedding she has a little too much fun, and a private video is leaked. When she returns home she suddenly finds herself unemployed. She’s terminated, effective immediately for inappropriate behavior. Her career means everything to her, and she knew the news industry wasn’t forgiving, but she feels she was wrongly fired. She’s angry, and sends a drunken rant to the owner of the station telling him exactly what she thinks of him and his company. She’d worked hard for nearly ten years to get where she was today, and couldn’t just walk away without a fight.
Grant Lexington is a 29 yr. old wealthy bachelor and the president and CEO of Lexington Industries. He isn’t used to anyone standing up to him, and is shocked when he gets an email from an employee telling him off. As they email back and forth he finds her entertaining, and is intrigued by the blond knockout who isn’t afraid to speak her mind. He eventually learns she was the wronged party and offers to make things right. As they work together he soon wants to mix business with pleasure. He’d like the chance to get to know her better, but one touch and he just might be in over his head. Could she be everything that’s been missing in his life?
Inappropriate is a fabulous, new standalone contemporary romance by Vi Keeland. It’s sexy, emotional, and full of heart. This one will hit you in all the feels, and leave you smiling. I really loved this story, and will be thinking about these characters for a while!
OMG!!! This book was incredible!! Brilliant on all levels!! I was so engrossed, i couldn’t put it down! Phenomenal!!
I don’t know where to start!
This book had me on tenderhooks from start to finish and I just didn’t want it to end nor could I put it down! Ms Keeland has penned a well written beautiful story that took my breath away.
Ireland is a sassy character with a go get them attitude! After a drunken night out, little does she know whats in store for her when the CEO of the company she works for gets her email! Goodness me! I laughed quite a bit and I thought the witty banter and the charming way Grant was, really made the story!
But sometimes things aren’t always as they seem and the past definitely has a way of staying with you, especially for Grant!
I shed a few tears during certain moments and really felt for the characters! My heart though…all the feels, all the emotions!
This story was absolutely amazing and shows the struggles that can happen to shape who you are as a person and can the right one make things better??
This book will be amongst my top reads of the year! Brilliant story!
Loved this hot and sexy office romance from Vi. When Ireland gets fired from her job due to an “inappropriate” post on her social media being revealed to her company she sends a drunken email to her boss’s boss’s boss. Amazingly Grant Lexington owner of the company is intrigued by this outspoken former employee. When when he meets her “by accident” in a local coffee shop he is smitten by the gorgeous feisty blonde. He is even willing to make changes within his company to get on her good side including forming a committee to investigate women’s rights in the workplace and getting rid of Ireland’s boss.
But Grant is hiding a deep dark secret from his past that shattered his life. Even though she has no idea what it is Ireland is ready to help him pick up the pieces and mend his broken heart. Great characters, hilarious banter, smiles, shocks and tears are all here for you get ready to cheer Grant and Ireland onto their happy ever after.
This story is heartbreaking, heartwarming and heart-quenching! Vi Keeland has served up an over-flowing bowl of the feels with “Inappropriate”. Grant and Ireland’s journey: while it’s one of second chances, it’s predestination at its finest.
From their beginning hesitant moments to their struggles of giving in, every single moment truly consumed me. With each one holding their cards close to their vests, confidence about how their story would unfold was volitale at times. And that made this even more of a page turner for me.
Hands down this book will take hold and clamp down without any let-up. You will love this story and that’s a promise!
Let me begin by saying this book was so much different than I expected, and I freaking loved it!! First, after reading the synopsis I was expecting something else. Not in a bad way, but the book was just so much different than I expected. The whole book builds much more on the emotional part of the characters and their life instead of just the sex part (which often happens in other books). I just loved how passionate and real these characters were. I mean who wouldn’t fall in love with Grant and Ireland. Both were such sweet, caring and real characters. It was just their whole story. From page one until the end the book was filled with sexual tension, fun, angst, drama and love. It was everything I never even expected and so much more! Definitely another great book by Vi Keeland.
Grant and Ireland’s tale is an emotional rollercoaster. These two have endured their own personal demons. Will the past hold them back from a future together? I loved these characters so much.
Vi Keeland has knocked out of the ball park once again.
Grab your tissue box readers, get ready to go on a crazy, emotional rollercoaster!
When you’re reading and you think “well they have great banter”, then a few more pages in, the character says the same thing!! That was brilliant.
Ireland and Grant fit so well together! Ok I love me some Pops too! He was a hoot.
Yet another hot office romance from Vi!!!
Not my first read by author and yes she is on my top 10 author’s and yes I have read every single book by her, all the series and standalone. I will say that I kind of wish this started a new series, would be ah-mah-zing.
This standalone snuck up on me & blew my mind!!!
It had banter, heart, passion and was very addicting!
Grant Lexington, where do I begin. CEO, powerful, in control, serious…a past that you will never guess and carrying the biggest guilt on his shoulders, along with the world. He deemed himself unable to love 7 years ago vowing to never repeat mistakes. Lie the blurb said, two wrongs never make a right, well fate is always a sneaky little thing. When he receives an angry email from one of his employee’s one night, he is intrigued and even cracked a smile but not enough to peruse it. BING.
Ireland Saint James is a woman who grew up without family, the one she had was everything to her. She also has worked for everything in her life, including this job she just got canned from all due to some innocent fun. Going over the email she wrote the night of a drunken fest, she cringes when she re-reads it. After some courage she decides that another email is a must follow, because well, she isn’t someone to give up that easy. A fighter. SENT. That should do it, at least if anything, she can’t say she didn’t try.
As I am always honest in my review’s I won’t lie and say that I was actually already expecting what will happen because I have read every single book by Vi and kind of felt familiar, as in her words and writing style. But boy was I jolted to reality when this took a turn for the best. What I enjoyed most is the way the hero and heroine were together, not your average boy and girl just felt…that’s it I FELT THEM if that makes sense. Their chemistry was insane and I will say this that this does not disappoint in the SEXY SCENES department, or DIRTY TALK!!! They go really well together and I know I will forever remember this book. Watch out for the few twists, have tissue ready because you’ll most definitely need it. Another AMAZING Standalone by Vi!!
