A new, sexy standalone novel from #1 New York Times Bestseller, Vi Keeland.
Terminated for inappropriate behavior.
I couldn’t believe the letter in my hands.
Nine years. Nine damn years I’d worked my butt off for one of the largest companies in America, and I was fired with a form letter when I returned home from a week in Aruba.
All because of a video taken when I was on vacation with my … because of a video taken when I was on vacation with my friends—a private video made on my private time. Or so I thought…
Pissed off, I cracked open a bottle of wine and wrote my own letter to the gazillionaire CEO telling him what I thought of his company and its practices.
I didn’t think he’d actually respond.
I certainly never thought I’d suddenly become pen pals with the rich jerk.
Eventually, he realized I’d been wronged and made sure I got my job back.
Only…it wasn’t the only thing Grant Lexington wanted to do for me.
But there was no way I was getting involved with my boss’s boss’s boss. Even if he was ridiculously gorgeous, confident, and charming.
It would be completely wrong, inappropriate even.
Sort of like the video that got me into trouble to begin with.
Two wrongs don’t make a right.
But sometimes it’s twice as fun.

This book was absolutely fantastic! Although I am not surprised at all. The characters Grant and Ireland were amazing I loved them together. The story was so well written that I just could not put it down. But then I found myself slowing down cause I just loved it so much that I didn’t want it to end. The way this story is put together made it feel real. From the first page to the very last it was simply amazing. I am so excited for everyone to read this book. I know everyone is going to go crazy for it.
Oh my goodness gracious Vi! I absolutely love this one! This story is about Ireland and Grant. Ireland is a hard worker, sweet, beautiful, and a great friend! Grant is also a hard worker, handsome, generous and thoughtful. This story is unique, but different, captivating, intriguing, and interesting. You will smile, laugh and cry. It’s a dual POV so you get to see inside Ireland and Grant minds. Also it will have the past and present. Vi Keeland brought the house down with this story! I loved the fact we get to see the happy ever after too! I was excited in my seat about this. Thank you so much Vi for this. This story is worth every penny and more! Get started….
Great freaking work again Vi Keeland
***I received a ARC for a honest review of this book.***
This was a great read! Vi Keeland is a great writer and she always calories her characters emotions so well that you really feel it. I love the connection that Grant and Ireland have. At first, Grant is so abrasive and guarded. It’s great getting to see him start to open up when Ireland comes into his life. The truths really come out and this is what makes this story so real. I really enjoyed reading their story.
Can I just say Grant Lexington is YUMMY! This CEO definitely is one hot man with a sense of humor that had me hooked!
What I loved about this story was the back and forth between the main characters, their banter was just what I needed with this book. I wish there was more steam because I felt like both Grant and Ireland did have some pretty sweet chemistry going on but it felt like it wasn’t asvstrong as I would have liked.
I did love when the author kept going back and giving us glimpses of Grant’s life growing up and how he came about naming the boat he had, which his grandpa built in the 60’s.
Ireland was such a spit fire and I loved her sense of humor along with her attitude. She was one of those people who wasn’t afraid to speak her mind.
When Grant took an interest in Ireland after receiving her druken e-mail telling him exactly what she thought of his company and employees, he was intrigued and had to meet this infamous Ireland.
Their meeting may have started off on the wrong foot but it definitely took off on the right one. I loved how intrigued and into Ireland Grant became and the more and more he got from her, the more and more he wanted from her.
Inappropriate was a very sweet, witty and full of laughs kind of book.
Would you let your boss fire you because you went to a nude beach during your vacation? Well, Ireland was just not going to let that lie without fighting back! Her emails to the CEO of the company are hilarious. She knows her rights and she will stand up for them!
Grant and Ireland are a work in progress of two people who appear to be complete opposites yet have so much in common. Their story is full of emotion, mystery, and most of all the need to love and have a life companion.
A must read, this amazing story tells us all about moving on from a horrific situation. It is human to want to live life to the fullest. Lust for life!
I am voluntarily reviewing this book. Thanks to the authors for sharing a copy with me.
I fired her.
Then asked her out.
Probably not the smartest order to do things.
NEW RELEASE from Vi Keeland! You’ll love this if you’re into:
– Office romance
– Sexy bosses
– Angsty romance
– Forbidden romance
Well, Vi Keeland is one of my top favorite authors, I just know I will fall in love with her characters, Ireland and Grant wheren’t an exception, but what surprised me in Inappropriate is the depth of emotions I went through, I was not expecting some of the twists in the story, it got me hard, it has the only trigger warning that gets me way too hard, it was such a close thing for me and even though I read it and set me off I absolutely love this story. Ireland is a strong woman, with lots of banter and swoony moments, their relationship is amazing and real. This book wrecked me but I loved every word. The narrators are superb, but I think in this audiobook they surpassed their own standards, absolutely phenomenal. Another 5 emotionally charged stars!
Inappropriate is a standalone and is Grant Lexington and Ireland Saint James story.
I L-O-V-E-D Inappropriate! It was just the right amount of laughing out loud. Just the right amount of Sexy! And just the right amount of feeling emotional, in other words I cried! Vi Keeland had me laughing while barely having started reading this book and I might have been LOL at inappropriate moments too!
Ireland gets a letter telling her she has been fired for inappropriate behavior while she was on vacation. So of course she sends The BIG Boss, Grant Lexington an email that was “Inappropriate” but funny too! And Grant responds.
I loved their story. Vi Keeland writes books that make you fall in love with her characters. The women are saucy & sexy. Her men are hot, strong, sexy & thoughtful.
I highly recommend reading Inappropriate and for that matter all of Vi Keeland’s books.
Of course this book is a 5+ star read! I would give more if I could! I LOVED IT!!!
I love this kind of forbidden, secret relationship romance. So fun and hot. Must read.
I loved it from the very first page! this book will have you turning the pages until you finished! Ireland and Grant are everything! This story is funny, sexy, emotional. It was perfect!
From the first to the last page this book was fantastic.
I was laughing one chapter and crying the next. Seeing the transformation of these two was absolutely beautiful. From Ireland’s drunken email to Grant sharing his past with Ireland – I loved it all.
Grant is an alpha male…but he has a soft side. Grant is the ultimate book boyfriend and I just want more from Vi Keeland! Ireland is a strong woman herself, a news anchor who gets herself in a bit of a pickle on social media and loses her job…Grant is the CEO of the company she works for and the aforementioned drunk email was sent and it just got better and better.
Funny, romantic, swoony and serious are the ingredients to this beautiful book that I read in under a day! Vi Keeland again gives us everything we need and want in a book – there is a reason she’s one of my “go-to, don’t’ need to read the synopsis, just read it” authors.
You have a very tortured hero in Grant Lexington – he’s from foster care but was adopted by amazing parents. He married young and had a torturous time dealing with his wife and her instability that we swore off love, happiness and finding his heart again…that is until Ireland.
Ireland is a bold and smart-mouthed heroine who was just let go from her job after 9 years because pictures were posted of her on a private account. She feels slighted and emails the CEO after a couple too many glasses of wine. Grant, the CEO, feels she might have been slighted but is also amused with her banter and wants to get to know her better.
What could be worse than dating her boss’s boss’s boss? Can they make each other whole again? Can Grant find love? Can he let her into his heart or is just as closed off as it has been for the last 7 years?
“And I’ve tried to fight it every step of the way, but it’s physically impossible for me not to love you. Trust me, I tried as hard as I could. I’m done fighting it.”
What a complicated love story Grant and Ireland have. This book is heart breaking and beautiful. I love Ireland, she’s become a favorite. She’s a warrior. They meet because of a video that goes viral, you guessed it, it was inappropriate. Social media is a double edged sword, can be used for good and bad, always be aware others may see what you hadn’t intended. Too bad her friend didn’t realize that before she posted their fun trip. Grant is complicated with a tragic past. Your heart breaks for him. I loved the last few chapters, restores your heart and soul. Thank you Vi Keeland for another incredible book
Omg!! Can I just say, I love Grant Lexington!! And Ireland is quite awesome herself! I loved everything about this book!
It’s hilarious, sweet mixed with a little sad, and oh so sexy! So get ready for all the feels!
Vi Keeland has started out 2020 both a bang!!
Five+ stars for me!! I can’t wait to see what she comes out with next!!
Powerfully emotional, two souls meant for each other, heat between the two that scorch the pages. Throw in some supporting character like Pops, some cheesecake and this love story is the ultimate package. Grant conquering his past, and Ireland being strong enough to hang onto him through the good and the bad! I would love to remember some more words to explain this story, but all I can say is this story is “Amaze” BALLS!
Vi Keeland has done it again! Her books grab you hook, line & sinker. She has a way of writing her stories and characters that grabs the reader from the first page and makes you fall in love.
Ireland gets a termination letter from a small indiscretion while on vacation. She has a little bit too much to drink and decides to tell the CEO off.
Grant finds Ireland’s letter a turn on. He digs a little and meets her and another winning story from Vi Keeland is born.
The chemistry, banter and feelings from these two will keep you gripped to the pages. The back story will tug at your heart strings.
This was a great book with all the feels and told in a way that the reader has come to cherish from Vi Keeland’s writing. Definitely recommend this book!!!
This is yet another fantastic stand alone from Vi Keeland.
I laughed when this book started because that drunk email from Ireland was great. Who hasn’t wanted to send a boss that type of email before? I know I have wanted to, never have though. I think I need some balls like Ireland.
But, sending that email, did get her her job back.
Once we got all of Grant’s past with Lily, and what happened to Leilani, my heart was shattered. I mean, I knew where that was heading, and my heart was broken during the build up, but when the full story came out…shattered.
I love Ireland and Grant. Their story is great. I did tear up some. Just a warning.
Oh my, what a book. Loads of fun and flirty, sexual chemistry that sizzles, with a whole new level of emotional to a Vi Keeland book. Be still my heart.
Ireland finds herself fighting for her job after a week away with her girlfriends. She is a smart and sassy, take control of her actions kinda gal. But her heart is big and looking for lots to love. No stranger to loss, she is determined to have it all one day.
Grant is thankful for what he has, thankful for the life he had thanks to wonderful foster/adopted parents. Loyal to his family. Working hard to continue to grow the family business has been his biggest distraction for the last while. Pain and grief holding him hostage in what he calls life.
When circumstances bring Ireland to his radar, he never expected these feelings. Slowly the more time they spend together the more he begins to crave a different life. Can it be possible? Could he be getting a second chance?
A wonderful book.

5 Stars!!!
Talk about a complete and utter surprise! No spoilers, but the synopsis does not do this book justice!
When I signed up to review, I figured it was going to be a sexy little rom-com piece of fluff. Boy was I wrong!
While I was reading, I felt like my heart was breaking so bad, I didn’t think it could be fixed. Of course, I was wrong, but Ms. Keeland made me work for that repair.
There was also enough silly and sexy banter between these two, that it helps break up the heaviness of the story. Grant is also gonna melt your panties! WOWZA! That man is sex on a stick, but he was so much more than that! He really took care to make sure Ireland was completely comfortable every step of the way. He was sweet and considerate of her demons, even if he was dealing with bad demons of his own. And then there was Ireland… She was so sassy and fun! I loved when she gave Grant grief, and called him out when he needed it. She was a strong female lead, even with her emotion vulnerabilities. That made her all the more endearing.
Once you start reading, make sure you have plenty of time to finish, because if you’re anything like me, you’re not going to be able to put it down.
I can say with absolute certainty that Inappropriate is my favorite Vi Keeland book. This story is so amazing. Immediately you fall in love with the snarky, spitfire Ireland as she bites back at the injustice she feels at being wrongly terminated. And equally fall deeply in love with Grant as he is amused by the drunken declarations made by Ireland. And so their beautiful, sexy romance sweetly happens. But it’s their tragic pasts that wraps around them like an anaconda threatening to end what they both desperately want. It was painful to see why Grant let the fear of the past define how he would control his future. The secondary characters were perfect, the writing was flawless and in the end it was everything it needed to be and so much more. Absolutely your easiest next 1 click!!!
