A new, sexy standalone novel from #1 New York Times Bestseller, Vi Keeland.
Terminated for inappropriate behavior.
I couldn’t believe the letter in my hands.
Nine years. Nine damn years I’d worked my butt off for one of the largest companies in America, and I was fired with a form letter when I returned home from a week in Aruba.
All because of a video taken when I was on vacation with my … because of a video taken when I was on vacation with my friends—a private video made on my private time. Or so I thought…
Pissed off, I cracked open a bottle of wine and wrote my own letter to the gazillionaire CEO telling him what I thought of his company and its practices.
I didn’t think he’d actually respond.
I certainly never thought I’d suddenly become pen pals with the rich jerk.
Eventually, he realized I’d been wronged and made sure I got my job back.
Only…it wasn’t the only thing Grant Lexington wanted to do for me.
But there was no way I was getting involved with my boss’s boss’s boss. Even if he was ridiculously gorgeous, confident, and charming.
It would be completely wrong, inappropriate even.
Sort of like the video that got me into trouble to begin with.
Two wrongs don’t make a right.
But sometimes it’s twice as fun.

Omg Grant is my absolute favorite CEO ever!!!!
Can I please have him????
Grant and Ireland are incredible!! Chemistry from the very first page…err…email…
I binged this book in a matter of hours. I couldn’t put this book down…even to sleep.
Highly recommend this book to anyone that wants an alpha CEO that doesn’t have your typical story.
Grant has a past that brought tears to my eyes and made me fill with so much emotion for a fictional character.
If you’re a fan of Vi Keeland… this will be no exception to her talents. This book is full of sexual tension, woody banter, romance, chemistry and all the emotions. There may have been a *few* tears.
Office romance is one of my favorite tropes and you can’t go wrong with this one.
Ireland is bold and sassy (plus who doesn’t love the name Ireland?) and Grant is mouthy and sexy af but not your typical richy rich CEO. He lives on a boat and comes from a foster child background.
They met by chance but their romance was no fairy tale. The depth of emotion in this one is up there.
Vi knocks it out of the park yet once again with this witty, heartwarming and heartbreaking romance.
OMG I flipping love this book! I love everything about this one, the characters are hot, the plot is engrossing and I could not put it down. Vi is one of my favorite authors and Inappropriate actually is now my top fave of her books. I dont write wordy reviews because no one needs the blurb repeated in a review so if you like sexy, sweet and smart characters, and a story worth ignoring your husband and kiddos for just pick this one up!
Early review read for review purposes.
Rate: 4.5/ 5 stars
A fun and sexy take on an office romance with a whole lot of heart and emotional bagagge. Vi Keeland never fails to write a good office romance that immerses me completely in its story as soon as I start reading. Inappropriate was funny, heartwarming, sexy as sin and will pull at your heart strings.
Grant and Ireland are a couple you’ll root for from the very beginning. They have the best and most hilarious meet cute that turns into a whole other ball game rather quickly. And no it’s not a insta love kind of story… but their relationship has a few stages and it’s those stages that change rather quickly… you’ll see what I mean once you read it.
I really enjoyed this one and there isn’t an office romance coming from this lady that I won’t read.
Each book by Vi Keeland gets better and better if I do say so myself. I fell in love with Ireland and Grant. The emotion in this book makes it a page turner for sure!!
When I read the blurb of this book, I just knew that I was going to love this story. I mean who am I kidding, I love all of Vi’s books but this one. Oh my goodness!
Ireland and Grant’s story is one that will give you all the feels! It was funny, hot, sexy, their chemistry just sizzles off the pages! I could keep going but I think you get the idea.
This was also an emotional read as well. This book deals with some strong issues that some people have to deal with in life. How Vi goes about it, just blew me away. She certainly did it justice and this is one story that will stay with me for a long time to come.
4.5 Stars
This story was sexy, sweet, and so much fun. It was also a surprisingly emotional story that left me captivated and held me to the pages. There is so much to this story. I found myself smiling and fanning myself and wanting to throw my kindle in frustration. I loved the characters and their chemistry and banter. It is a beautiful read and everything I have come to expect from Vi Keeland and I can’t wait for more from her.
” No rain. No flowers.”
WOW just WOW!! Inappropriate is without a doubt Vi Keeland’s best book to date.
The story of Ireland and Grant pulled me in from the beginning.
I love the laughers, the bickering & banter between the characters. Ireland is a sassy, driven and funny woman who does not go down without a fight! Grant is just the epitome of the alpha male with a damaged soul. His vulnerability and his cockiness make him so sexy but it is the love he has for his pops and their relationship that me made swoon so badly. Ireland is undeniably the Yin to his Yang.
VK’s words flow, and the pages just fly by, her words take you on a journey through the life of the two main characters. Some of the situations are hysterically funny, and some were heart-breaking . For me, all the characters come to life, and reading her book(s) is almost like watching a movie. As always, the supporting characters are great, you feel the camaraderie and the closeness.
What an emotional read with laugh-out-loud moments and tender, poignant scenes that brought tears to my eyes. I am speechless at how wonderful this book was.
Vi has outdone herself with this book. Grant and Ireland were just absolutely amazing characters that I truly couldn’t get enough of. I wanted more when the book was done.
Grant was such a sexy man but had his fears for starting relationships. So he kept everything casual. Until he met Ireland. Then he knew she was different from the very beginning. She wasn’t fake, she spoke her mind and meant what she said. And she was perfect for Grant.
Just like he was perfect for her. She wasn’t looking for a relationship. She was looking to get her job back. She got more than she bargained for with Grant but their chemistry was scorching. I loved the slow burn they had with each other.
This might be my favorite Vi book to date.
Is it normal to have inappropriate feelings for a fictional character? I hope so, because I’m daydreaming about Grant Lexington. I can’t believe I finished one of Vi Keeland’s best books, and I can’t include it on my best of 2019 list! Inappropriate might be one of my all-time favorite books by Vi Keeland.
Vi makes it impossible to not fall in love with all of her characters. Her books always manage to make me laugh, steam up my e-reader screen, and produce a lovable book boyfriend. That’s a given. Inappropriate did all of those things along with an emotion-packed sucker punch that I felt in my heart. This book is everything!
My first book on my Best of 2020 Romance Book List! Inappropriate
OMG!!! Yes! Yes! Yes! Now that’s a great book! I absolutely loved it. It was funny, emotional, sexy, and so very tragic all in one. I absolutely loved Grant and Ireland. I couldn’t imagine going through something so tragic and overcoming a tragedy like that. So beautifully written. It sucked me in and made me feel like I was part of the characters. Definitely a must read! I can’t wait to see what’s next!
Angsty and emotional. Delightful and heartwarming. Exquisite and passionate. Hilarious and hopeful. Woeful and whimsical. Stunning in its depth as two individuals wind their way through the intricate weaves of life while finding love with forgiveness and trust.
Grant has been through an utterly devastating and horrific ordeal….losing a piece of himself so dear he felt inhuman for many years. A ship drifting at sea, lost to the currents and alone in a tempest of heartbreak. Of loss. Of a half-life.
Then, one day….
A woman. Ireland. Someone who has become a pillar of stone. She has such a warm softness to her. As if despite her troubles, she has remained gentle at heart, though unyielding. A rose, with thorns, but such beauty that the harsh bits only accentuate the lovely ones. Human. Everything Grant needs in order to build a life again.
A beacon. A lighthouse to find his way. Out of the darkness and into the sunny shore.
The two of them, as they become one? They save each other. While Grant has to learn what makes life worth living and what it means to take chances. Ireland needs to find a way to give her heart away despite the risk.
They both learn that there are no flowers without rain. With forgiveness comes peace. With trust comes love. Grant and Ireland? They deserve it all. The happily ever after? It was never wanted more.
I love this couple. I love this heartache. I love this pain. I love this LOVE. It is all.
Man. Sometimes a book hits you right in the heart and doesn’t let go! This one soooo did that for me!!!
It starts very hilariously with Ireland, news anchor, sending a scathing email whilst drinking to the President of her company.
Jerry Maguire on ‘roids!!
As with every Vi book, there’s a hook in there you do not see coming!
Absolutely loved this story’ I simply fell in love with Grant & Ireland.
If I could give it 10 stars I would!!
Vi Keeland
I finished Inappropriate a few days ago but it’s taken me this long to try and put some words together that will do this book and it’s characters justice!!!!!
Vi Keeland is one of my go to authors but this book is on a whole nother level, to me this is her best work to date, this author really has a way with words, her books are extremely well written and she brings her characters to life. I’m sure when you pick Inappropriate up you will think it’s just another office romance well think again, Ireland and Grant’s story is so much more……
This book ticked all my boxes, characters with intense sizzling chemistry, lots of witty banter, a strong sassy heroine and a swoon worthy hero that stole my heart, I laughed, I cried and I’m diving in to read it again because this is one of those special books that you will never tire off.
This is a must read and it will be certainly be on my best reads of 2020
Eeek! I loved this story! Vi Keeland writes the BEST stories! I adored Grant and Ireland. Ireland was sophisticated and smart. I liked how she played hard to get and gave Grant a hard time. She didn’t give in to him so easily despite how sexy and charming he was. I also really liked how Ireland put herself and what she wanted and needed first.
Grant was delicious. I loved his humor and his ever naughty mouth. His strength was attractive, but his vulnerability was endearing. His past broke my heart. It explained why he was so guarded. When he showed his heart, he healed mine.
I love the humor that Vi Keeland brings to her stories. It makes them fun and entertaining. With the right amount of heat, an emotional twist, and an epilogue that left a cheesy smile on my face, Inappropriate is a 5 STAR read. I highly recommend!

Grant and Ireland’s chemistry was off the charts hot!
I loved the back and forth between these characters and the way Author Vi Keeland sucked us into their world of “Inappropriate” journey of falling for one another.

5 popped!
Inappropriate was not just a beautiful story with an easy to love hero and a strong, spunky heroine…it renewed my joy for reading.
Grant and Ireland’s story was sweet and sexy. I giggled, laughed and even cried a little. The level of emotions their story evoked was intense. It was such a simple yet complex story of love with so many levels. It touched on so many relevant topics that made their story feel so real and relatable.
I can’t tell you how it felt to enjoy this book. It’s the first one I’ve picked up in a month after losing my joy of reading romance. Vi Keeland has always had a talent of bringing a fresh love story for everyone to love and INAPPROPRIATE is another great read to add to that list.
#HighlyRecommended
This book has everything a good romance story needs… an inspiring storyline, great characters, chemistry and an awesome book boyfriend.
Inappropriate features a romance between work colleagues…well, a woman and her boss’s, boss’s boss.
And how the two characters meet is absolutely hysterical. Ireland attempts to write the company’s CEO to request a letter of recommendation after returning home from vacation to find out she’s been terminated. Her letter writing skills are hampered by her indulgence in an adult beverage.
A light hearted, brilliant read from one of my favorite authors, Vi’s storytelling just keeps getting better and better. This one is definitely worthy of your time to check it out.
Grant and Ireland are the best couple! Their meet cute was the best. Ireland is fired for an inappropriate photo on her private Instagram feed that a friend posted and tagged her in. She gets drunk and writes a letter in an email to her big boss, Grant. The fireworks start from there! Vi Keeland is a pure genius! She has characters that you love and weaves a story that will make you fall in love every time! 5 amazing stars
Ireland was wrongfully fired….who knew what a drunken email would lead to! An amazing emotional read. I love Ireland and Grant! Theirs is a story that will stay within my heart. I love Vi Keeland! This is my new favorite book by her. It will definitely make the list if one of my favorite reads of the year!
