A new, sexy standalone novel from #1 New York Times Bestseller, Vi Keeland.

I couldn’t believe the letter in my hands.
Nine years. Nine damn years I’d worked my butt off for one of the largest companies in America, and I was fired with a form letter when I returned home from a week in Aruba.
All because of a video taken when I was on vacation with my … because of a video taken when I was on vacation with my friends—a private video made on my private time. Or so I thought…
Pissed off, I cracked open a bottle of wine and wrote my own letter to the gazillionaire CEO telling him what I thought of his company and its practices.
I didn’t think he’d actually respond.
I certainly never thought I’d suddenly become pen pals with the rich jerk.
Eventually, he realized I’d been wronged and made sure I got my job back.
Only…it wasn’t the only thing Grant Lexington wanted to do for me.
But there was no way I was getting involved with my boss’s boss’s boss. Even if he was ridiculously gorgeous, confident, and charming.
It would be completely wrong, inappropriate even.
Sort of like the video that got me into trouble to begin with.
Two wrongs don’t make a right.
But sometimes it’s twice as fun.

This book has an unforgettable and highly entertaining “meet cute” and I don’t mean when they actually meet. The unusual situation and regrettable decisions to involve alcohol makes Ireland a force to be reckoned with.
This fun and occasionally Inappropriate story is what any romance lover needs. Ireland is a heroine you can get behind and love to support. Grant is the tough and too sexy for his own good leading man. Their love comes alive in all the Inappropriate splendor.
Audiobook lovers:
Andi and Sebastian are the dream team. I have yet to be disappointed by them. in fact I preorder tons of books based on their presence.
MASTERFUL!!!!
That was the best read ever!!!!
I loved the sassy and witty Ireland so much.
Grant was so unashamedly honest.
A truly emotional journey that I simply couldn’t stop reading!
PERFECTION!!!
I have had this story since it was released but no time to read it (or listen in this case). So when I got a little free time, this is the one I went to and boy oh boy did I love Grant and Ireland.
This story started out with a drunken letter to the CEO that had me laughing so hard. But when you read the reasoning behind Ireland being fired from her job of nine years, it is a little scary and it is true that many companies can and will use social media to keep an eye on their employees so anything posted as inappropriate might get you fired.
Now to tell you what I loved about this story, Grant has issues but when you learn about his past it will seriously break your heart. I cried like a baby for him and his pain. I wanted him to get the HEA that he deserved. The more time Ireland spent with Grant, she was falling for him but when she learned of his past she knew he wasn’t going to change his mind. I love that Grant has a boat named Leilani May, my sister’s name is LaLani.
Is there a chance for Ireland and Grant to get their HEA? Can Ireland help Grant move past the pain and guilt he feels from his past?
I highly recommend this one to anyone looking for a great story but I warn you that you will laugh and cry but in the end, you will fall in love with Grant and Ireland. So sit back and enjoy the roller coaster ride that author Vi Keeland has given in Inappropriate.
3.5 stars
I know I’ll have a great time reading Vi’s books. This wasn’t the exception but it wasn’t the best book either. The chemistry was there, no doubt, but the plot felt flat in some parts.
Ireland was awesome! Love her.
Really enjoyed this whitty and steamy romance with its fair share of tear-jerking! Love the strong independent heroine and the charming (billionaire) hero with a heartbreaking past to find a happily ever.
I went in blind when I chose to read this book. I had no clue what it was about! I was not disappointed. This book sent me through all the emotions! I could not put this book down! I didn’t want it to end either!

Let me start by giving a big thumbs up to Andi Arndt and Sebastian York. Both are wonderful narrators and I loved listening to them!
Vi Keeland is a professional author, her stories are smooth, well-written, with well-developed characters. So, why not give 5-stars for the story as well? It’s hard to explain because it’s more about my taste than if the book is actually good . It’s the difference between looking at a photograph of a lake or a gorgeous painting of said lake. The first might be a flawless representation, but the second can blow me away.

I loved this book! Inappropriate by Vi Keeland tells the story of the romantic escapades of Ireland Saint James (Richardson), a morning newscaster and anchor, and Grant Lexington, CEO of Lexington Industries including the news broadcast company where Ireland is employed. This well written book has wonderful characters and an enjoyable and humorous plot full of fun banter, a little drama, and great romance. I highly recommend this exceptional read.
I LOVED this book. It has been a long time since I have read a romance with such in depth character descriptions!! Loved both Grant & Mia!!! Thank you for this book!!
Ireland Saint James is the anchor on the local morning show where she is known as Ireland Richardson. After a fun week celebrating for her best friend’s bachelorette party in Aruba, Ireland arrives back home to find out she has been fired because of a video taken while on vacation. Beyond livid, Ireland starts drinking some wine and ends up sending the CEO of her company a scathing email letting him know exactly how she feels. The next morning Ireland wakes up for work and realizes what she had done and is even more horrified to realize that that the CEO replied back.
For the first time in a long time a woman has intrigued Grant Lexington. Her biting sarcasm kept him entertained and Grant finds himself helping her get her job back. As Grant comes up with more ways to spend more time with Ireland the sparks begin to fly. They both know that a relationship within the company is not a good idea, but it’s also not against the rules and they quickly morph into something more. Just when it looks like their lives are going great, demons from the past come haunting back. It is going to take a lot of deep, soul searching for these two to get to their happy ending but in the end it is all worth it.
I just adored these two characters. Ireland is smart, funny and confident but still has some emotional baggage from her past. Grant is gorgeous, cocky and so emotionally damaged it seems that he would never move on with his life but thankfully Ireland was able to break down those walls so he could find his happy ever after. Overall this was a perfect story with such great characters, lots of laughs and an emotional punch in the heart.
Vi Keeland amazes me every time. This was an emotionally exhilarating journey to go on with Grant and Ireland. I absolutely adored every moment of this book.
4 stars for Inappropriate by Vi Keeland. OMG Grant and Ireland are great characters. The story of these two was epic. The chemistry between them jumped off the pages. These two meet after Ireland gets fired for Inappropriate behavior and she decides to email the CEO- Grant. Grant finds this interesting. Grant has a dark past and the more he likes Ireland, the more the past becomes the present. This was an interesting read. If you like sassy heroines and dark heroes then this is a book for you.

This was such a emotional and deep story line that was absolutely engrossing, the build up of the chemistry between the characters was beautiful and realistic, the sex was hot and appropriately placed and not over done the story was the driving force which was brilliant, loved it, this was a great read.
3-3.5
Nice pace. Great characters. Strong witty h, sexy beautiful damaged H.
Difficult topics to discuss but realistic and sad. Great HEA.
Wow- this is the first book I have read by this author and it was phenomenal. The story and characters are interesting and draw you in. This book takes you on an emotional journey that makes your heart start pumping harder and harder the more you read. The story keeps you in suspense and releases the information little by little building up to the trauma that Grant has lived through. Ireland is funny and how she met Grant will have you dying laughing. Grant and Ireland’s journey is rough and emotional but the ending was sensational.
This was such a fun way to see two people meet and their personalities are great! A little bit of sass can definitely go a long way with these two. There is also so major emotions going on with a twist that you might see coming but will break your heart reguardless. Such a great book with just as great narration.
This book is funny, and sweet and all the things a good romance book should be. I really enjoyed it!
Ireland came back from vacation and got a letter she was fired. She drunk emailed the CEO Grant. She gets her job back and Grant wants to be more. Grant and Ireland have some issues from the past. Can they get past there issues and be together. Great characters and storyline. Highly recommended. My mother had Dementia and your portrayal was done. Excellent book
Inappropriate is a fresh kind of Rom-Com that turns serious. Ireland St. James is a morning news anchor. A video of her gets “discovered” by her boss after a bachelorette trip in Aruba on a topless on a beach. Her indiscretion gets her fired in a form letter from the company, signed by her boss’s boss, CEO, Grant Lexington. Angry and disheartened, she has too much to drink and sends off a nasty letter to Mr. Lexington.
Amused by a woman with the guts or stupidity to write him, Grant Lexington is intrigued by a woman with a “set of balls.” Thus, begins the love story between, Grant Lexington and Ireland St. James. These characters who seem completely opposite at the beginning of this story, discover an attraction for each other that is incendiary.
VI Keeland is a compelling writer. I like her and she’s reliable. She writes a certain type of brooding hero with a past. This is no different. Grant is a man who is “in control”. Cool, confident but terribly tortured. When you read the story, you understand. It’s not unlike “We Shouldn’t” where Vi’s hero was tortured because of a loss. This is what helps to create the conflict and angst.
There is so much about this book that great! The romance is a slow burn. There is a guaranteed HEA and some delightful and funny side characters (like Pops). But if you have a difficult time reading about loss or are triggered by it (which is a very human experience and something we will all experience sooner or later) don’t read this book. But if you love strong, sassy heroines and “hot as sin” heroes with a secret that ends up dealing with some darkness, you will LOVE this book.
I give it five STARS .

I am often surprised by how much I enjoy Vi Keeland’s books. I have no idea why that is, considering I’ve never read anything that I did not like. They always have a backstory that is original, and really causes all the feels within me.
I really really loved Grant and Ireland! They both had great personalities, and their witty banter really pulled this story together. And I absolutely loved Grant’s grandfather!
I look forward to more by Vi Keeland in the future!
