From International Bestselling author, Dr. Rebecca Sharp, comes the new standalone in the Winter Games series…NickMy life had been a series of unfortunate events:Some of them out of my control, some of them entirely my fault.I was only weeks away from being able to take my daughter and finally be free from the past that had imprisoned us.And then Tamsin Lucas showed up on my doorstep, looking … imprisoned us.
And then Tamsin Lucas showed up on my doorstep,
looking every inch the innocent angel yet begging to be ruined.
I told myself I could live not knowing her secrets or the reason for her hurt.
And I swore I could survive never touching her again.
Until I needed her to homeschool my daughter.
Now, every day, I’m fighting to rein in my desire for the woman who’s always been perfect
and protect her from those who are out to destroy me.
Tammy was too good to want someone like me.
But what if I was too bad to care to stay away?
Tamsin
Making the right choice was the slogan for my life and the motto for my soul,
until all the right decisions led to a very wrong result.
In the moment when life felt like a catastrophe,
I ran to him. Nick Frost.
The callous man who was colder than the mountain
and possessed more secrets than it did snowflakes.
For one night, I traded sense for sensibility
and my well-kept order for his comfortable chaos.
I thought one night and one wrong choice would be enough
until he became my boss and wrong began to look a lot like right.
With every day that passes, I learn there’s more to his story than the world knows
and more to the unquenchable desire being written between us.
Nick was too bad to want someone like me.
But what if what we had was too good to keep me away?
IN TOO DEEP is the fourth standalone in the Winter Games series…
*Note: While this book takes place in the Winter Games world, it is not a sports romance.more
Another awesome read by this author. This is Tamsin and Nick’s story. I have been waiting for their story from when I first meet them. I went through an emotional upheaval I laughed, I cried, I cursed and I raged a little.
When Tamsin’s well-ordered life is turned upside down, she turns to Nick to help her feel alive. While Nick helps Tamsin live, she becomes the peace and comfort he needs in his chaotic life.
He has genuinely wanted her for years. And he couldn’t have chosen a better woman. Her want to protect, her want and need for family is exactly what he needs to take control of his life. She is who shows him what happiness feels like.
This definitely felt like the most emotional book of the series and was my favourite. The ending was completely perfect, not just for Nick and Tammy but for all of the couples this series has introduced so far.
Two things I loved was how Blake from Reputation makes an appears and how Tamsin has endometriosis. Its the first book I have read with a character that has it. Personally I don’t know what its like to have it but my younger sister who turned 21 in July last year has had it for years so I know a bit about it and also how painful it can be as at times she was in so much pain she couldn’t move. Also my Auntie (mum’s youngest sister) has it.
In Too Deep is a good read. This one took me longer to read then I had planned. It’s an emotional read and I took break while reading it. This one can be read as a standalone but if you read the previous one, you have already met Nick. I was definitely interested in Nick’s story. Nick is an intense guy. He comes off as cocky and sometimes a jerk but he has layers. Tammy is a follow the rules type of girl. She and Nick seem opposites but she might she be the one to break through the layers and walls Nick has. I liked these two together.
Let’s start off by saying this is a first time author for us and we really enjoyed our first read by them, but most of all we loved how the author decided to do a multiple Epilogue ending and it was the best treat ever and made the ending even more perfect.
We loved the story from beginning to end.The story had a great cast of character’s that you were drawn to immediately as well as them being fun and oh so love-able.It’s been a while that a have read a sports romance themed book and it was really a nice treat to break the ice as they say and read something out of my comfort zone and this story did the trick because I can’t wait to read the rest of the series. I really am loving this author’s style of writing.
We loved Priss she was just pure sunshine a mother to all,love-able, a great friend, smart ,sexy with that sexy librarian vibe lol, just one of those hometown girls who would give the shirt off her back for someone in need.I also loved that she was a little bit nerdy as it just made her more attractive.
Priss favorite quote – “He was so painfully beautiful. Unique. Just like a snowflake.”
Nick Frost- What can I say other than we really loved the his gruffness, his dirty and crude talk, his straightforwardness, his playboy looks,we loved his vulnerability but , most of all we loved how he loved his daughter with such fierceness that he was willing to make such drastic life changes to keep her safe and protected.
Favorite quote – “Nick Frost was a Casanova on ice—shaken, not stirred.”
We loved the chemistry that Priss and Nick had between them as it was intense and hot as he** !
There was tons of super sexy and hot romance scenes .”Can you say fanning myself!”
We loved this cast of character’s they all we a lot of fun but, I have to say that Priss’s girlfriends were the bomb! “We loved them!”
I loved how they kept asking Priss if she got frosted yet? It made me laugh time and time again.
Overall we loved the plot as it had a serious undertone, was filled with tons of drama, more than a few surprises happen, super hot sex scenes in and out of bed but, most of all we just like how the story unfolded and kept us glued to the pages to the very end.
I love when you connect with the character’s that you are reading about and it was able with this cast of character’s as they made it easy because they were just so much fun.The story made me laugh and cry and it was heart felt and we just loved it !
Recommend read to all!
Looking forward to the rest of the series.
This is the fourth book in this awesome series, and in my opinion, the best to date! Nick and Tasmin are the perfect compliment for each other, as she is the calming influence to his chaos. This is a beautifully written story which is intense, thrilling, heartbreaking, emotional, humorous, passionate, and filled with drama, angst, and love. I was totally captivated throughout this phenomenal story, and I cannot wait to read more from this talented author, whose work I highly recommend for all.
Holy heck!! What a great book.
What more can I say other than, ‘You need to buy this book’
I had a love/hate relationship with main man, Nick, he’s a hot and sexy single dad with a secret passion for his daughter’s beautiful and smart teacher. He’s hot, driven and focused on getting himself and his child through their complicated life. He can’t have Tammy, so he tries to push her away by being mean and hurtful.
Tammy has lusted after Nick for years, but only been scorned in return.but she never seems to get the message. I felt ever one of her emotions, from fear of rejection to blissful surrender. The chemistry and attraction these two shared couldn’t be denied forever. But, it’s not a sunshine and rases. There’s some rain along the way before the sky brightens on a new day. One-Click this book today and it won’t be long before you’re, In Too deep.
In To Deep was an amazing read, filled with the action, drama and romance that you have come to expect from this author. While part of the Winter Games series it moves away from the snow fields as more of the action centers around the personal lives of the main characters Nick and Tammy.
I feel like we have been waiting for Nick and Tam’s book for a long time as we have been getting to know them through the eyes of the other characters in this series. I have been eagerly awaiting this book and let me tell you it does not disappoint. The relationship between Nick and Tammy is an complicated one and Rebecca Sharp captures this so well in her writing. This book was a bit heavier than the rest in the series, however the author dealt with these issues with sensitivity and compassion.
In short I loved this book. It took all of the best bits of the previous books and rolled it into one. While it can be read as a stand alone I would definitely recommend reading this book after the rest. Another fantastic 5 star read!

I know I say this with every Winter Games book that is released, but, In Too Deep, the fourth and last book in the series, is the BEST one yet!!!!!! Holy smokes does Dr. Rebecca Sharp get in too deep with this one. This one has to be the most heartbreaking, powerful, sometimes funny, drive you mad and put you back together again kind of book. Oh, and those little surprises are thrown in here and there!! AMAZING!!!!!
Dr. Sharp’s writing in this one leaves you with the book hangover of all book hangovers. Her flawless writing grabs your attention right from the beginning. You won’t put it down until it ’s done and it will leave you speechless.
SnowassHole, Nick, is the last one to fall and he falls so hard it causes chaos all around him. The past can be tricky when you have secrets. When one touch of the forbidden becomes needed in more ways than physical, things do get a little out of control before settling down.
Tasmin, loves control over all things in her life. But when a student is taken from her class, life as she knows it is turned upside down. It becomes out of control but it may just be what she needs.
Nick Frost is the one that can’t be,….it just can’t be him….but when Nick becomes a need over want, can Tasmin handle the chaos that is ensured to happen?
This story can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading the Winter Games series in order.
It was my first read from the author. Even though it’s the fourth book in the series, you can read it as a standalone. There were a few times though that I didn’t really know where the story was going and had a bit of trouble to get into it but I overall I definitely enjoyed the book. The things both lead characters, Tamsin and Nick, were going through were very relatable and that’s something that drew me back in.
Tamsin and Nick go way back but there’s always been something about ‘bad boy’ Nick that she stayed away from but when Tamsin gets bad news, she’ll run to the one person she’ll know that will make everything bad go away. But Nick is hiding a lot of secrets and when he’ll need someone to homeschool his daughter, Tamsin will be the one that will need to help him out. Since they are spending more time together it gets harder for them to stop the feelings they are starting to have for one another. But Nick isn’t the only one hiding something and when things finally start to break apart, it’ll be up to them to put the pieces back together and maybe, just maybe, they’ll find more than they have dreamed off…
first book from this author and I loved it
I kept reading needed to know what was going to happen
Alot of emotion in this book, made me cry and laugh has some really sexy parts
loved the story between Nick and Tammy and of course the happy ending 🙂
I loved this book. This is a romance, but there is so much more to this story! I liked learning the truth of who each character really is beyond their stereotypes of “good girl” and “bad boy. ” I especially appreciated reading about a character with endometriosis. I don’t think many women know or understand what endometriosis is and how debilitating the pain can be.
Nick hires Tammy to teach his little girl. They have mutual friends, but do not know each other well. As they began to learn more about each other, trust grows. Each character starts to realize that there is more to the other than what appears on the surface.
This book pulled out my tears and my laughter. The dialogue is witty. Add in some really hot sex, and this book has it all. Highly recommend!!
I received an Advanced Reading Copy of this book. I am freely posting my honest review.
This was a really emotional read but I have to say it was my favorite out of the series. I so wanted to smack Nick so many times. I was heartbroken finding out why he acted the way he did but Tam’s story totally gutted me. I felt for her so much. I still think she should have made Nick grovel a little more but the way he discribed how he felt about her was just swoon worthy. I completely fell in love with Lila.
4*
Nick (frost) has tormented goody two shoes Tammy (Tasmin) miss priss to nick for along time. Tammy is desperate to find out what happened to Lila the shy little girl who was removed quickly from her preschool, breaking the rules she finds something unexpected. When their worlds collide after she gets some devastating news can they share their secrets.
Emotional journey lovely story.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
Nothing beats a great love/hate story and this one doesn’t disappoint, Nick referrers to Tammy as Miss Priss as he wants her but can’t so it’s better to lash out at her while Tammy considers Frost Cassanova on ice she avoids him so as to not to have to deal with him. It was great to see what makes Frost tick as well as why he is the way he is and that Tammy’s day dreams about him could be real, you will get sucked into this story and be rooting for them to get together sooner rather than later but its not going to be smooth thats for sure!
Nick is officially my favorite Snowhole! Nick is so beautifully broken and oh so sexy. His story haunts me, his trust broken by those that should have loved him. The lengths he goes to protecting his daughter show the truth of who this man really is. Tammy is perfect for Nick. He gives her strength she so desperately needs, she give him peace. Their love is epic, they are legends! When I think of Nick and Tammy I always think of Kristi Ballerini’s song Legends…this is truly their song!
I’m so excited that I finally got to Nick’s story!
Nothing ever goes Nick’s way. He doesn’t know the meaning of someone caring for him and putting him first since he lost his dad. And even when that is happening to him, the best kept secret is that he IS the caring type. He cares deeply for the people he considers worthy.
Nick is intense but that is understandable. What will surprise you is how poetic he can be. I love the comparisons he makes of Tammy with the moon. It’s perfect! He is perfect in all his chaos. Nick’s words may seem harsh all the time, but when it comes to Tammy his words are profound. When you read this story, you will see there are no better words to describe Tammy’s character then the ones he uses.
He has genuinely wanted her for years. And he couldn’t have chosen a better woman. Her want to protect, her want and need for family is exactly what he needs to take control of his life. She is who shows him what happiness feels like. And not surprising, he teaches her to grow as a woman. To experience freedom when that is the main thing he’s lacking. With him she can let go, she can feel whole and perfect. Something she desperately needs after all the bad luck she has had.
The process of growth for them it’s really heart breaking because after so much that has happened, he thinks he is not worth her goodness, pureness and perfection. But that man is so dedicated and so deserving that damaged never look so good. On the other hand, she can’t believe he could desire her so much since in her mind she is defective. But again, she is the calm to his storm. These two will steal your heart. You will be their biggest cheerleader.
*I received an ARC but am leaving a voluntary and honest review, it also contains bad language.*
“LET’S JUST SAY, NICK FROST didn’t look both ways when he crossed my mind. Heck. He didn’t even wait for the walk sign. And he definitely didn’t walk in the cross walk. He strolled through with the confidence of complete mayhem as my senses beeped and blared angrily at his disturbance. He crossed and caused accidents—collisions of my senses that resulted in fatalities of my faculties. The worst part was that he didn’t even know the chaos he caused. And if he did, I had a feeling he would be pleased.”
And oh what beautiful chaos it was.
I stayed up until 5am reading this book because it was so addictive. I couldn’t get enough. Needless to say, life kicked my arse the next morning and there was not enough coffee in the world to help. – so its been a few days between my read and posting my review.
Like Rebecca’s other books, the title definitely tells you what you are in for and I fell deep for Nick. It was a slow burn but holy shit… it was worth the scorch marks.
He was sexy, arrogant, hot as all hell but also, very sweet.
I mean, if I had someone say “You are my moon. You aren’t blinding or burning like the sun, instead you rise quietly and calmly, bathing everything around you in your beautifully soft glimmer; you are the bright, pure luminescence in the darkness of life…” to me, my panties would be off faster than you can say “catch”.
Tamsin. Beautifully broken Tamsin. Oh, how I love this lady. Innocent, caring, kind hearted and nurturing… she is the brightness to his dark and warmth to his frost.
And the sex…. well…. lets just say this book is in the ‘panties optional’ pile because DAMN! that man has some fucking swag and imagination (you will find out when you read it).
Hands down my favourite book of the series.
Thanks Rebecca Sharp for another fabulous read.
Hands off ladies! Nick, he is mine!
“And maybe you’ve already gotten there, you realize that you have to take the chance regardless of the outcome because to dare is to lose your footing momentarily; to not dare is to lose yourself entirely.”
Nick Frost has always been the screw up of the bunch. When he lost his dad, he spiraled downward, heading toward anything that would make him numb. But Tammy had always been on his radar, always been something he could look at but not touch.
Tammy liked her life squeaky clean, with no drama and set rules. She’s always observed Nick from afar, but knew that he would never be interested in someone like her. But when her life is turned upside down, Nick and his daughter become more to her than she ever thought possible. But, with both of them fighting their own demons, neither know if the flames will burn them up.
Wow, I’m not sure what I can say about this book, it was simply amazing, i couldn’t put it down, the rollercoaster of emotions that the story takes you on will leave you boneless.
They say love can move mountain’s and maybe they were right.
I love rebecca, the way she writes warms my soul.
In Too Deep, by Rebecca Sharp, is a deeply moving story of two broken souls who find they have enough love and strength to put each other back together again. Nick Frost is one of the SnowmassHoles, a group of friends so talented and close, and are known as the snowboarding gods of the Snowmass Resort they rule over. Even though they’ve all had their trials, Frost is the one who has suffered the most of them all, whether at the hands of his unloving family or his own stupidity. His life seemed to revolve around parties, women drugs and alcohols, but now it’s time to change. He lives his life for only one thing – to clean up his life and become a better man and father for his daughter, Lila. He loves her more than anything and will protect her by keeping her safe from his abusive family. He’s under pressure by the state to make sure she’s being tutored, and the first person he thinks of is Lila’s teacher at Open Hearts Daycare, Tammy. Tamsin Lucas has adored Nick since high school, but she doesn’t think he so much as notices her. She underestimates Frost since, in his mind, he sees her as a soft place to land in his difficult world. He’s teased her and called her Priss for her seemingly uptight manner and dress. He sees right through her to the feistiness of spirit and good heart that she has. He’ll be waiting for her when she realizes that she needs a safe place to fall apart. They are so perfect for one another and there is such tenderness within the pain they both feel. Tammy’s pain is not only in her heart, but also in her body. No matter how many tests the doctors run, they have no answers as to the cause. But then, that answer comes and it’s something that totally destroys the future she has always dreamed of. She’s ready to fall apart and needs to find Nick to lift her spirits and make her feel alive! Together, they are a kaleidoscope of chaotic, passionate, painful and sweet emotions. In Too Deep is beautifully written with multi-layered characters, and a tremendous story that all come together to form a captivating book!
Oh my god. This book was freaking amazing. I don’t even know where to start. I’m Too Deep is officially my favorite Rebecca Sharp book. It’s the perfect blend of funny, steamy, angsty and romancy. This story just hit me in the feels for the entire book. I couldn’t put it down, I had a burning desire to know what happened next. It was absolutely perfect and I would recommend this 10 out of 10 times.
