Kendall Jameson was traveling when the outbreak started. All she knew was what she heard on the radio. There was a virus, a sickness being spread across the country, and everyone was running scared. On her way home, she makes one last stop to see her best friend and by fate or chance or by simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time, she finds herself quarantined inside by a sudden military … military presence.
She doesn’t carry the virus, and as far as she knows, neither does anyone else in the facility but the men guarding the store doesn’t seem to care and she knows they’re not letting her go anywhere anytime soon.
Levi James never expected that his National Guard unit would be ordered to confine over two hundred civilians inside a retail store, but orders are orders. He’s here to do a job. That’s all these people are, until he meets her.
They connect instantly over their similar surnames and the comfortability while getting to know one another.
Instant attraction sparks and their forced confinement gives them the chance to become more than strangers, even more than friends.
When Levi starts to feel sick, he worries he might be the threat they’re all so worried about. But Kendall refuses to leave his side.
If this is really the end, she wants to spend it with him.
Will they be separated and lose one another forever, or can they overcome the virus and live to fight another day?

Can you find a lasting love in Quarantine?
So what do you do when you are quarantined and locked down in a store in a mall? That is what happens to Kendall Jameson in IN the End. When a new virus grips the world Kendall goes to Texas to make sure her father is okay. After she leaves to go home a lock down/do not travel order is announced. She continues to travel home and sticks with her original plan to visit a friend at her work, just a quick pit stop. That little pit stop ends up with her being locked down in the store because of one infected person. Now all the employees and customers must stay until they are finally allowed to leave by the National Guard.
Levi James is a soldier with the National Guard. His unit it sent to guard the story and make sure that no one leaves. One of the customers her has an instant attraction to and she does to him also. Levi and Kendall end up sneaking around to find time together. The question is once they are allowed to leave, is the survive the virus and quarantine that is, will they still want to be together? Or was their attraction just a “love in quarantine” situation?
This is a really well written and riveting story. It is based on current events but with a much more extreme situation. Tarrah Anders has once again given us characters that are interesting and have a lot of depth along with a story that has a few twists and some interesting thoughts on the situation. I definite recommend this book.
An enthralling and attention grabbing read! It is well written, well-developed, witty, funny, emotionally deep, heartwarming, and intriguing. The characters you will love; the chemistry between them is amazing. Tarrah Anders has spun this tale so well and in keeping with current issues, it felt like I was right there watching it unfold. This book will definitely capture your attention. A Must Read!

Even in the midst of a seeming apocalyptic event, happiness can be found…
Inspired by the craziness of our world, Tarrah gives us some hope, humor, and heat despite the insanity around us.
Kendall stops in this box store on her way thru New Mexico on her way to see her father in Texas. She plans to see her best friend. Little did she expect to find herself locked down in said store with her bff, a slew of strangers, and the National Guard.
On the other hand, she also finds herself getting close to one particular soldier, Levi. Who simply can’t resist her charms. It is definitely love in the time of quarantine…
This was an intriguing imagining of what could happen. If only things were that organized.
Levi and Kendall love story was sweet & steamy. I loved their story.

This is my first time reading this author and I really like her easy-going writing style. Despite the serious nature of the subject matter, especially at the moment this is a very good read and has some humor to go with the drama and forbidden romance. I shall be looking out for this author in the future as I loved reading this book.

In The End is a romance based around the current world pandemic so it gives you an instant connection and also gives hope. A story that in these trying times shows us that amongst the devastation there can also be positivity. Levi and Kendall kept you captivated by their chemistry and the love that was developing between two people who were thrown together in a precarious situation. A story that will touch your heart and show you that sometimes love will fight the toughest battle to win in the end.
What a great well timed story to bring about some positivity in this weird time we are.going through. There is an outbreak, a virus and everyone is being instructed to go home. Kendell is on her way home when she makes one last stop at the store before finally being home. Levi is part of the National Guard team instructed to keep all the folks in the store there. In this crazy time, is it possible to find love? There is definitely attraction. When one of them falls ill rules and perceptions change quickly. This was a fast paced read that I found myself thumbing through from the first until the last page. Enjoy!

This is a very well-written story with great characters with a lot of instant chemistry. These characters are well crafted into a story of a worst case scenario or our current times. These two have to work through some tough times while falling in love. A great story

This was a good story based on the current crisis going on in the world with the author’s own spin. Kendall and Levi have an instant connection and all feelings are heightened because of the panic going on. The chemistry is instant and the story develops pretty quickly. It served as a good escape right now even if it was dealing with the same thing.

This book is so on point for the current world we live in. I’m sure we will see more quarantine style romances in the coming weeks and months but this is one of hte first I’ve tackled and it was thoroughly enjoyable. Anders has a knack for writing quick and sexy short stories with all the feels that make you want to hang out with main characters. This one is no exception.
Tarrah is one of my go to authors. I just can’t get enough of her books. In the End is an awesome, funny, sexy read. Once I started it I had to finish it. If you are looking for something to fill an evening or part of an afternoon pick this up. Kendall and Levi are adorable and hot together.
This story is oh, so very on point right about now. We all know what’s going on in the world, and while this book is a tad scary, it’s also an escape from the four walls that I’m quarantined in and contains hope for the immediate future. Levi and Kendall are stuck in a stressful situation and somehow manage to find love. They just have to survive quarantine and isolation to get to their possible HEA! I won’t spoil their story, but I will say that this is a must-read because even the very real fears facing us today seem a little less scary when accompanied by a tale of romance in the time of pandemic.
