Enjoyed
This book is part of a series and I would like to read the whole series after reading the last book first! A wonderful, exciting tale full of adventure, romance and danger.
Love the books I have read in this series!
Aiden Bradley remembers his past and wants to get revenge for his mother’s death years ago. He goes and captures Sarah Santiago to flush out her father. While together they are told on the ship the captain always falls in love with their captor. Will history repeat itself.
This book is a part of a series and in the beginning I had problems figuring out who the characters were or what was going on because I had not read the prior books.
Definitely kept me entertained! The heroes were loveable, and the villain was reprehensible. Very good story.
charming, entertaining and just couldn’t put it down.
I really liked the heroine.
I read the prequel earlier and then read this one. I loved the conclusion and the happily ever after. Lovable characters, leaving you wanting to hear more about them. What happened to the mansion on the beach and the servants there? Is there more to come with these characters?
Very well written and an unusual plot. I liked it.
Great storyline, but just OK writing. A bit slow for me.
Loved it.
Great
This was a great pirate book. Swashbuckling scenes, love & romance, and humor. When they were on the ship you could almost hear the waves slap the ship and the sails snap in the wind. In the sea battle you could almost hear the cannons and smell the gunpowder. I read it as a Kindle but will now look for it and the other books by Beattie to add to my bookshelf.
They story of a family torn by the brutality of another pirate and the struggle of the youngest of the pirate family as he comes to terms with the past. He captures a beautiful daughter of the brutal pirate as a lure, but falls on love with her as is tradition of the ship he is captaining. Very riveting sequences and characters.
Very unrealistic. Poor character development and story line jumped and hard to follow in the beginning. Part of a series so perhaps if previous read easier to follow
Loved this book and the entire series.
This was the last book in the series. Although the author really tried to fill the reader in on what had transpired in the previous books, I think I would have enjoyed the characters and story line more if I had read them, in order, before this one.
Very enjoyable.
Can’t wait to read the other books in the series.
This author was great… can’t wait to read more of her books…
