UnknownI watch him from the shadows, capturing his essence through a tiny lens.Every inch of his skin I have committed to memory, I know his body as well as my own.I’m waiting for the right moment to let him catch sight of me.Just like the way he seized my attention so long ago.ThomasUnease and fear are my constant companion; a side effect of the eyes I can sense on me, watching my every move. I … me, watching my every move.
I don’t know how to make the feeling stop.
The not knowing if someone is lurking out there, just waiting for me to drop my guard is making me lose my mind.
Mason
I wish I could tell Thomas how he makes me feel.
The feelings that I hide are consuming me, making it harder to face him.
I’ve wanted him for years, but never found the strength to admit the truth.
The lie is getting harder to tell, and every day I feel myself starting to slip.

Hot, hot, hot. This book immediately pulled me in and enveloped me in the world created. Cannot wait to read more.
What a fantastic book
I just knew right from the start this was going to pull me in and take me down the rabbit hole and mercy was I right.
I kept trying to figure out just what was going on and who was doing it as I kept reading more and more and that twist thrown in there I definitely didnt see that coming.
This was absolutely a fantastic read and one I’d definitely recommend.
This is a M/M story and the way these ladies wrote this story it will make you a fan of their stories and you’ll want to read more from them.
This is definitely a must read if you like M/M, dark, suspenseful reads there’s a lil bit of something in here for everyone.
This is just my opinion and my review
STORY:
EDITING/PROOFREADING:
OVERALL:
I was on the edge of my seat the first 25% of this book, totally sucked in to the story and eager to find out who the stalker was. I always love a good stalker story, and in this book there isn’t just one but two! Unfortunately, that’s where the story got a little confusing in my opinion. I would’ve preferred that the authors focused on the one stalker, making sure that his actions and timeline seemed were as believable and accurate as possible. I understand the authors need to throw us off from figuring out who the stalker was too soon, but the way they told the story didn’t quite add up at times. For example, they made it appear that a character was busy with someone else so he couldn’t possibly be the stalker, yet in the end, he was the stalker which didn’t make sense. A character cannot be in 2 places at the same time…
I really enjoyed the chemistry between the main characters, but I thought their move from best friends to monogamous lovers happened a bit too easily and seamlessly. I also found it hard to believe that Thomas transitioned from being a straight man to publicly showing off his homosexual relationship without having even one sentence of inner dialogue over this. The sex scenes were off the charts hot, but at times the scenes were so long I was tempted to skim.
My biggest complaint about this story was the editing and proofreading. *** I already mentioned some of the editing issues regarding the storyline, but for more details on the editing and proofreading issues that detracted from this story, continue reading below. Otherwise, this is where my review ends!!!
There were typos such as the authors always using INTO even when it should’ve been IN TO, MIGHT although it should’ve been MAY, TICKS for TICS, FURTHER when it should’ve been FARTHER, THAT for WHO, TAMPER instead of TAMP, and TO for TOO (for example, “Mason is in the picture to”).
Semicolons and apostrophes were not used correctly (for example, to show possession it was always THOMAS’ even though it should have been THOMAS’S according to the Chicago Manual of Style -CMOS). There were words capitalized that didn’t need to be (for example, “a Priest” and, “King size bed”), and some words were not capitalized that should’ve been (for example, the brand name, “band-aid” should have been spelled Band-Aid”).
Most of the mistakes I noticed were in regards to commas:
-The FANBOYS comma rule was overlooked most of the time.
-Words such as THOUGH, APPARENTLY, and HOWEVER we’re not offset by commas when located in the middle of sentences like they should’ve been.
-There usually were no comma after introductory phrases and pronouns (for example, “It’s the dick man.” should’ve been, “It’s the dick, man:”).
-Commas were often omitted from lists of adjectives (for example, “deep even breathing)
There were sentences with extra words (“I leave the car and the parking lot, knowing that the when Thomas gets in…”), sentences with missing words (“I let the lid close on last scrap of our painful memories.”), and sentences with the wrong words (“before I panic thinking about this person watching my sleep”). There were also numerous run-on sentences (for example, “Piling into the cab, I rest my head on the back of the seat in front of me, I shouldn’t have had the last two beers and I know I’ll regret them in the morning.”)
What disappoint me the most about the editing was that it wasn’t streamlined to read like it was written by just one author; it was very obvious that this book was written by two different authors. There were obvious inconsistencies, (presumably because each author said things differently). For example, occasionally there were phrases like, “I’ve not” which is a British way of speaking, and both ellipses and time of day were spaced differently (for example, “seven am” was used in one place, “four a.m.” in another although neither of these is correct according to CMOS). One author used LAYING while the other used LYING, one used TV while the other used tv and one preferred CUM while the other preferred COME to describe semen as a noun.

Narrator: Oh Boy, this was (for me) kinda hard to listen to..His voice is very ummm…smoothly Robotic? (Yeah, can’t seem to find the right words to explain it lol)! In the sense that he is almost void of emotion, but clearly enunciates aloud what he’s reading, it does get annoying cause he does talk a bit fast, and sadly the way he narrates made it hard to focus on the story and who’s POV it was for each chapter.
Great story, but wrong Narrator for the book.
So…

Completely recommend this book!
This was an immediate 1-Click Buy for me, the synopsis alone made me crazy for this book.
I LOVE Stalker Books, and this is one of my Top Favorites for sure.
I fell in love with the Stalker as soon as I finished the first sentence, don’t ask me why. Lol
I was expecting it to be ‘Super’ Dark which I would’ve seriously enjoyed, but it wasn’t and that didn’t bother me at all and I just loved everything about this book!
WOW. THIS BOOK & AUDIO WAS SO GOOD! I WAS IN LOVE THE ENTIRE TIME! I love MM books. I love dark books. I love thriller romance books. This book had all 3 elements in one and was HOT. The narrator did an AWESOME job with all 3 of the POV’S he was narrating. Thomas’s, Mason’s & the unknown stalker’s. This was an amazing book/audio and I cannot wait to read more books and hopefully more audios by this dynamic duo Aly Michelle. Superb job.
Holy crap!… What the hell just happened?!
I’m reeling from that totally unexpected plot twist!
This is without a doubt the craziest most original love story ever!
This read is filed with Edge of your Seat Angst.
A perfect combination of sweet and filthy.
An amazing story that you’ll not soon forget!
Brava Ally & Michelle…. Brava!!
This was a dark and intriguing read! I enjoyed it
This was unlike anything I’ve ever read before and I loved it! A thrilling ride that keeps you guessing until the very end! Thomas is a man with a stalker. He feels himself being watched but isn’t truly sure it’s not in his head. He is also struggling with his sexuality as he finds his long time best friend has feelings for him. Will we find out the truth before it’s to late? Told in multiple POV; this was my first MM reads and I truly enjoyed it.
This book was a welcome reprieve from all the other books out there. It was so different to anything I have ever read and even though it was a slow start I’m glad I stuck with it because it so definitely worth it.
In Plain Sight peaked my curiosity from the very beginning and quickly had me hooked. I loved the mystery and suspense woven throughout the story that kept me guessing as I tried to figure out what was truly going on. Part of the way through I began to piece things together and enjoyed how everything was revealed. I like how the multiple points of view gave a glimpse into each of the characters. Fast-paced, steamy and full of intrigue with a thrown in twist you may not expect In Plain Sight was quite the addictive read.
Format: Kindle Edition
I’m not sure where to begin with this one since it was so good!!! I love books that keep you on your toes trying to figure out who the unknown person is. Every time I think I might have this story figured out we were thrown a twist. This was my first time reading one of Ally Michelle books and I will be reading more. The characters had a great development and this story was different then any other I have read.
In plain sight is face paced and suspenseful it will have you guessing. The twists will keep you turning pages, I was glued to my seat trying to find out who was who.
I don’t read much M/M but this one really got my attention and it did not disappoint, I might just start reading more after this one.
This two authors did an amazing job in bringing a dark, twisted, suspenseful m/m romance to live.
*I Beta read this book and this is my honest opinion.
“I have no plan, and I’m just letting the cards fall where they may, but I still need to be in control of the game I’m playing with him.”
Eerie, erotic, fast-paced, and addicting. I ate it up with a spoon!! The multiple POV had me entranced, and engrossed, and there was nothing left to the imagination! Twists and turns galore, it was an absolute must read!! I’m not one to seek out M/M, but I’ve enjoyed each one I’ve ever read, including this one, and the darkness just multiplied the adrenaline rush from inhaling this one in a day! I thank the Authors for providing a copy to read!

i seriously love this dynamic duo of authors! they turned up the heat and suspense to scorching hot!! this kept me guessing from start to finish, and i loved it. it didn’t hurt that M/M is one of my guilty pleasures to read lol!
This book had my attention from the beginning. I love the suspense and mystery. Reading and trying to figure out who unknown was. Piecing together the story while having the romance is my favorite ! This book will keep you on edge and loving every second of it !
I’ve been waiting on In Plain Sight since before Christmas, a dark stalker MM book? YES!
We get to read from Thomas, Mason and the Unknown’s POV.
Throughout the story, I was trying to find out who Unknown was. And, halfway into the story, I got my suspicions!
In Plain Sight, is a ‘short’, fast-paced story and hot AF! Not sure how I feel about the ending though.
There is nothing like love, obsession, and a little light stalking on the side. I’ve been waiting awhile to get my hands on this story. It didn’t disappoint. I loved the stalker aspect and the long time relationship Thomas had with his best friend, Mason. I also loved the secondary characters’ roles in the lives of the main characters. They were placed there for filler. They moved parts of the story forward.
What a great mm dark romance Ally has given us throw in a stalker and I’m a happy lady. This is a story of love and obsession, it’s creepy and passionate that will keep you guessing. There is great character development, I really felt like I knew Thomas and Mason. The chapters from ‘unknown’ amped up the tension and give another dimension to the story.

it was amazing
This is this first book I have read by this duo. And also the first time I have read about a man stalking another man. I thought the writing was well done and the story kept me turning pages late at night when I finished. I recommend reading this story- it’s hot and suspenseful. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy.
WOW this story has it all and will have your heart racing as the events take place from page one of the unknown stalker and captures your complete attention with the dark twisted suspense of Thomas and what is happening to him and his feelings as his best friend Mason and Thomas become closer and oh boy turn up the heat because these guys are hot and intense. I loved it not knowing what to expect and what was coming next.
