Wynn family bonds bend but never break. . . . “Kelly Jamieson is an auto-buy for me.”—Carly Phillips JP Wynn: I admit, I’ve made some bad choices—on and off the ice. Now all I want to do is show my team I can control my emotions while I’m playing and redeem myself with my family, especially with my brother, Théo. I hate that I hurt him and I’m determined to stay out of trouble. But the hot … out of trouble.
But the hot bridesmaid at Théo’s wedding is tempting me into another bad decision.
A little flirting and a hook up with Taylor seem harmless . . . until Manny Martinez jumps me on the dance floor and starts beating the crap out of me.
And just like that I add one more bad decision to my résumé.
Taylor Hart: I always thought hockey players were hot. Now I think they’re crazy.
Manny broke my heart when he got traded to another team and left without even a goodbye.
Then he showed up at my best friend’s wedding. All I wanted to do was show Manny that I was over him.
And the groom’s sexy brother, JP, seemed more than willing to be my distraction.
But after the way everything went down, I want nothing to do with any of them.
Easier said than done. Especially when Lacey’s new brother-in-law is always around. . . .
And I keep thinking about the wedding night, when we snuck away to his room for the best sex of my life.

A nice addition to the Wynn Hockey series that hooked me from the start. You could feel the chemistry between JP and Taylor their first meet. Loved experiencing their journey to togetherness. Byron was the perfect sidekick.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC received via NetGalley.
The Wynn Family isn’t an easy family to be a part of. And for JP Wynn, he seems to be having an even tougher time pleasing anyone. So why not play up the bad boy image everyone thinks he is… and what better way than to have a dirty fling with the bridesmaid at his brother’s wedding.
Things get hot and heavy with Taylor but what he didn’t expect was to find himself in the middle of a fight with her boyfriend?!
I really loved getting a peek into JPs world. Deep down he really is a great, sensitive guy who really puts too much stress and pressure on himself. I did get s little frustrated with a Taylor – but overall the two of them really are magnetic together and flaming hot! And oh my goodness I loved Byron!!
Such a fun series and once I started I couldn’t put the book down!
Kelly Jamieson has done it again with another amazing hockey series and a great family to easily fall in love with!! I adore the Wynn’s and am totally fascinated by their incredibly complicated family dynamic. This story is sweet, fun, hot, sexy and heartwarming all wrapped into one! In this second book of the series, JP Wynn has a chance to redeem himself after being firmly placed out of his family’s good graces for some poor choices he made. Honestly, I love JP and am happy he is trying to put the past behind him and be a better man. Taylor and Byron are very good for him!! He and Taylor have some serious chemistry and attraction from the start! Their wedding hook-up was flaming hot! But they sort of went back to square one after that. I loved watching their relationship bloom again from there. It certainly was not without complication and drama, but the way it was worked out and those who help along the way, made the story that much heartier. I love that we get so much of the other family members in the story too! I can’t wait for Everly’s HEA next and more of the Wynn family!!!!
Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for this wonderful ARC!!!
The Wynn family is back with the second installment of this series. In book one we got all the juicy details of what happened with JP. Now, JP is back and single and his goal this season is to not make mistakes like he has in the past. But he isn’t starting off too well, when he and Taylor hit it off at Theo and Lacey’s wedding rehearsal, they end up making a night of it. When at the wedding itself, things go from super to bad and JP has a hand in sorta ruining the reception. After all the smoke had cleared, JP has decided to just avoid Taylor, even though every fiber of his being reacts when she is near. The more JP sees her the harder to resist her becomes… but there is no way he is going to go for someone else’s girl again, he learned that lesson before.
So, I’m first going to start out with Taylor is a bigger adult than I am … I am still messed up from her parents issues, LOL. I really enjoyed JP and Taylor’s story. The antics that they got up to, the drama, and some super steamy naughty bits. I am looking forward to see what happens next in the Wynn family. I give this 4 stars.
The Wynn Family may be one of my favorite Hockey families. Their family tree is a messy one (if you’ve read the first book and/or this one you understand). It definitely is not easy to be member of this family.
If you’ve read the first book, you may remember JP, you know the one who stole his brothers girlfriend? He is the black sheep of the family and though he is working on his relationship with his family still isn’t his biggest fan. Taylor was also introduced in the first book, she is neighbors and friends with Theo and Lacey.
When they see each other at Lacey and Theo’s wedding there is an instant connection and let’s just say their hook up is HOT HOT HOT! Their chemistry is through the roof. Of course, there is plenty of drama at the wedding surrounding them but they can’t seem to stay away from each other. They try to be friends, but it is a struggle and you can just feel the chemistry and the tension between them. Will the timing work out for these two to every be more than just friends?
I was not a fan of JP in the first book for what he did with his brothers ex, but he MAJORLY redeems himself in this one. There is so much more to the man. Yes, he has some control issues and tends to easily lose his temper, but he also has a sweet side and is super swoon worthy.
I loved every single moment of this book. I was completely sucked into JP and Taylor’s relationship I devoured this book in one sitting. I can’t wait for more of the Wynn family and for updates on Theo and Lacey and JP and Taylor.
For any fans of hockey romances full of steamy and family drama this is a MUST READ.
Wow, just wow! I’m loving this series by Kelly, and JP just became my new book boyfriend! 5 hockey sticks for this one!
Meet JP Wynn, currently not the favorite of the Wynn family, because he dated his brothers girlfriend, but lets just say, she told him they were broken up. But JP just sucks it up and accepts the label of bad boy Wynn. While getting ready for his brother Theo’s wedding, he see’s Taylor, single bridesmaid and sets his sites on her!
Taylor doesn’t want a relationship right now, but dammit that bad boy JP showing her all the attention, she can’t resist! And these two start off hot and heavy! Taylor was hurt by Manny, so does she really want to be involved with another hockey player? But she can’t resist JP’s charms!
Follow along as their story unfolds, can JP get people to see he’s not the actual bad boy, and try not to fall in love with Taylor? Read along and find out!
In It to Win It (Wynn Hockey, #2) by Kelly Jamieson….I am enjoying this series… thanks to the publisher and #NetGalley for letting me preview this book. JP Wynn ( always the “bad boy” but doesn’t want to be) Taylor Hart ( the “good girl” who loves life) Such fun catching up with the whole Wynn family and their conflicts. There are so many feels, laughs, tears, misunderstandings, angst and steamy talk and sex all getting us to a very HEA. I can’t wait for more Wynn Hockey and I can’t forget Bryon who wouldn’t love him.
The second book in the Wynn Hockey series, is FABULOUS!! I love JP, he is the underdog that you want to win. With everyone in the family, not liking him much, he still tries. He wants to not be the outcast because he slept with his brother’s girlfriend, by mistake. But he still did it.
When he meets Taylor at his brother’s wedding, he is all over her. He doesn’t realize that she is the ‘ex’ of one of the other guests, and all hell breaks loose, another check against him.
Such a great story of overcoming your past and seeing that your future can hold the best things ever.
JP Wynn is the bad boy of hockey and bad boy of the family but when he meets Taylor Hart maybe just maybe he can change his ways.
The Wynn Family is Hockey Royalty and when you feel like you have to live up to all the hype finding your way can be difficult and also being hard on yourself is easy. Taylor Hart is just an all around great woman she loves her job, her family, her friends but when unexpected circumstances has her rethinking it all can JP be the one to help her or hurt her.
JP & Taylor will go on a rollercoaster of emotions trying to decide if being together is worth it all or being alone is better. When they find that moment when they figure it all out you can’t help smile knowing that they found the answers they are looking for.
This is the second book in the series. You really should read the first book in the series to know all the characters and the continuation of the story line. We met JP in the first stary and I didn’t like him and couldn’t forgive him and totally did not believe his lame as excuse. In this one he is now interested in Taylor which we met in the first story and happens to be Lacey’s friend, I was sad because I liked her in the first book this wasn’t not as much. I still did not like Jp and he still did not believe his regretfulness, why? well he only broke up with Emma because she lied to him twice and she wanted his brother back and when that didn’t happen she continued with JP who as I mentioned only broke up with her when Everyly told him that she went back after Theo. So you see not out of heart, not because he regretted it and in know time did I really feel it. Yes he realized he was wrong, which dude you so were, here you continue to say how much you love Theo how close you were to him, yet you had no problem continuing on with a relationship with Emma. Maybe I am petty but I liked that his grandfather called him out on it and his family were not as a forgiving as Theo well you know you need to work for it because dude you were so so wrong and he did not do anything in the story to show his repentance. Taylor grow up I know that it broke your heart that your parents relationship fell apart but that is their problems and decisions. I will continue to read it because I loved the Wynn’s and cant wait to see which crazy family is next with their issues.
Rcvd and ARC at no cost to author..(netgalley) Voluntarily reviewed with my own thoughts and opinions
I really liked this book. I enjoyed JP and Taylor together. The sparks just flew off both of them whenever they were together, even when JP, especially, was trying to be on his best behavior. I was sure that I would like this story but it exceeded my expectations. I liked JP and his mouth. Taylor and her love for her dog. What’s not to like? A book about hockey, family, and a bad boy, not much better than that!
I received an advanced copy this book from Net Galley for an honest review, thanks Net Galley! This is the first book I’ve read by Kelly Jamieson & I really enjoyed it! I liked JP & Taylor even though Taylor annoyed me a little in the beginning of the book. I also liked the supporting characters & look forward to reading more of her books & this series. I thought this was a wonderful book & highly recommend it but a note to the author for more of an epilogue.

I’ve enjoyed every hockey novel that Kelly Jamieson has penned for us, and In It to Win It was no different!
We first met JP Wynn in the first book in this series and to say he’s on the outs with his family due to the fact he was with his brother’s girlfriend is an understatement. There is no doubt that JP has flaws, just like anyone does, but he recognizes it and it doing is level best to be a better person. Whenever he makes a mistake he can’t let it go and he’s constantly beating himself up which doesn’t help him in the least.
Taylor Hart is the best friend of Lacey, who we also met in book one. Taylor has always had a thing for hockey players, enough that she’s dated them in the past, and that hasn’t changed. When Taylor and JP connect at the wedding, they CONNECT and the sparks are immediate and explosive. When Taylor realizes she can use that chemistry to her advantage to make the man that left her jealous, she does so without a second thought. Well, at least a second thought at the time.
There is no doubt that the chemistry and connection between Taylor and JP is immediate and enduring. They do have to deal with quite a bit of drama, but that is generally a staple with families and relationships! We do get a look at the Wynn family from JP’s perspective and the one thing I liked was how he always focused on his step-mother and including her when much of the rest of the family doesn’t. I think that shows what type of man he really is.
I enjoyed this one and am definitely looking forward to the next one in the series.
