I was reunited with Livingston Montgomery in the broad sunshine of a Carolina morning, right where she belonged; in the light. It’d been too long since I’d seen her face. She had changed, but so had I. I was Adam Nova, reformed bad boy. Now, successful business man. I had it all, except for the one person I’d always wanted, and now I was back to claim her. She was living in the shadows, just a … the shadows, just a shell of the former girl I knew.
But it didn’t matter that she tried to hide from me in the dark.
I’d follow her into the deepest depths of hell.
I just wanted to be In Her Space.

A heart stopping conclusion to a duet that’ll be forever in my heart.
My heart was shattered with the ending of Beneath His Stars. I’d danced across the stars with Liv and Adam and experienced every emotion along with them. I dove eagerly into In Her Space, praying it lived up to the first book and I’m thrilled that it surpassed my hopes and expectations.
I was gripped from start to finish, captivated by such an epically beautiful and unique star crossed love story. There are some books that are so beautiful, lyrical, romantic that you get swept up in the story, and find yourself wishing it were real. Wishing you could live forever between those pages. Wishing it’d never end because you’d never get enough of those characters. You hope with all your soul that the characters get their happy ending, that they’ll be okay. This duet is that and more. It left me breathless, it tugged at every heartstring, and it was so flawlessly written that my eyes and heart were full. Every word fed my sparkly, romantic heart and every syllable inspired me. I can’t wait to read everything else Amie Knight has ever written!
5 stars
In Her Space is the truly fantastic conclusion to the Stars Duet. Adam and Liv were meant for each other from their first meeting but like most star-crossed lovers, they had to endure heartbreaking misery before finding their happily ever after.
Ten years have passed and they barely resemble the starry eyed kids they once were. After having three years of his life stolen from him, Adam has used all he’s learned and his thirst for justice to fuel his phoenix style rise. Creating an app to give millions the stars, he’s now capable of buying and selling the people that destroyed he and Liv and ruined his young life. Buying the biggest house on the block, just a few houses down from his tormentors, he moves to the upper crust island that once shunned him and lies in wait to bring down the man that tore his life apart so many years ago. Despite not talking for ten years, Adam never liked the idea of Liv, the only girl he’s ever loved, living in that nest of vipers. He’s never stopped loving her, needing her and he wants her back but will his inability to move on from the past keep them from the future they deserve?
Liv returned home a different woman. Despising everything about the place she grew up, she’s moved across the bridge where the boy she loved lived. With Raven by her side, she’s rebuilt a life without Adam but she’s never given her heart to another. No longer a wide eyed dreamer, she’s a realist now and sees the world in shades of grey. Now she studies the stars strictly in a scientific capacity to teach kids. Her beloved planetarium has just been bought and her life is about to change again because the man that bought it-is the boy that still owns her heart.
I loved everything about this book. Amie Knight once again displays exceptional character development and a truly compelling, heartbreaking story. There are so many twists and turns in this story to keep the reader on the edge of their chairs. I completely didn’t see Braden and Sebastian coming and I LOVED seeing the wonderful characters from Amie’s (exceptional!) book, The Line, make an appearance. You’ll love this duet, I guarantee it, it’s written in the stars!

5 STAR Review by Jodi for Ruby Red Romance Review
I loved this amazing conclusion to this great series. I loved every second of this book. We flash forward several years to see what’s happening with Adam and Livvy. The way the first book ended I was seriously worried about how this second book would go. I was so excited to see how well Adam has done for himself. Livvy…I wanted her to still be the sweet girl she always was, but she’s become slightly jaded.
I don’t want to give anything away about this story. I want you all to fall in love with Adam and Livvy. I want you to see how strong these two are apart as well as together. I have never felt such a surge of emotion as I did with this book. This story and these characters have touch me deeply. I hope we get more in the future.
In Her Space starts off ten years after Beneath His Stars. A lot has happened in those years and not everything is what it seems.
Adam didn’t have an easy time, but he’s tried to make this positive by creating his own app and this had become a hit. He heads back to where it all began to fix a lot of the loose ends that were left behind.
Liv still thinks of Adam, but has found her way in life and is working with kids underneath the stars, just what she loved! She soon finds out there were a lot of misunderstandings, but that doesn’t make things any less complicated.
Their connection is definitely still there and it doesn’t take long to act on that. Unfortunately the past is still their to haunt them. It’s hard to really review this story without giving too much away! This really is a duology that you need to experience while reading.
Beneath His Stars lacked a bit of the depth and hints of what was going to happen. In Her Space really made up for the lack of details. We definitely got more of the information I was happy to see how this all turned out. That being said, I missed a bit of the development between Adam and Liv. I guess I needed a little bit more than we got?
All in all, I really did love these characters and this story. The way it ended really did leave a smile on my face. Amie Knight really has a way with words that make you want more! I would love to read more about Adam and Liv and even a few other characters we meet along the way!
What a wonderful conclusion to this duet!!! I enjoyed the first book, but I really fell in love with this one. There was just enough angst to keep you wanting to read on. Adam and Liv really grew from book 1 to book 2. I was disappointed there wasn’t more to Georgina and the Sheriff and everything that had happened with them. And I’d really like to know more about Raven! I was very excited to reach the end to find out there is going to be a continuation of another character.
I love Amie Knight’s stories because they have this ethereal element, more than lust and sex, something spiritual that brings a couple together and binds them forever. Sort of like a soulmates vibe. In this conclusion of her Stars duet, we see Liv and Adam, ten years later after their explosive separation, and the love and devotion is as deep as when they were teenagers. The only effect of time is that they never communicated during those years and now they think that the other hates them, so their first meeting happens less than smoothly.
Adam spent three years in jail, courtesy of Sheriff Rothchild. Liv was forced into a boarding school, later went to college in Georgia and refused to come back home until just recently. She now does social work in the Madison Planetarium. She’s working with the kids from the poor section of Madison, trying to give them better options than street gangs.
Imagine the surprise to find that Adam purchased the planetarium and is now Liv’s boss. Adam made his fortune after leaving jail, developing an astronomy application called Luna, which is clearly a reference to his nickname for Liv. Really, their love was clearly visible to everyone except them.
After a lot of miscommunications, squabbling and power plays, Liv and Adam finally connect and then enter into the other prickly part of their story, their past history which involved violence, abuse of power, greediness and murder. Adam wants to protect Liv but keeps secrets from her and in the end it causes them trouble. People from their past appear and are not what they seemed in the past. Liv is now best friends with Adam’s previous best friend Raven, loyalties are torn and old enemies are now friendlies. There are a couple of plot twists, good and bad surprises.
What I didn’t like in this book was that it didn’t feel real in some parts. Adam says he’s working on Liv’s protection but I didn’t see any positive action there. I didn’t read about any investigator checking out the past crimes and there’s no one watching out for Liv when she’s apart from Adam. I would have expected at least a surveillance team watching Liv from afar since I knew she would not have accepted a bodyguard. A man so rich certainly had many resources and we don’t see him using any.
Anyway, I love the humanity, the astronomy aspect, the spiritual connection to the stars and the universe, and their swoony love for each other. I liked that Liv was prickly and didn’t bow to Adam’s every request so he had to work for it. Their sexy times were fun because they were tinged with desperation from many years lost. It was a great read, except for the lack of reality part.
LOVED IT!! Beneath His Stars left you with a giant cliffhanger but In Her Space answers them all. Liv and Adam are an amazing couple. Their hearts have been entwined for years even as they are apart. The twists and turns this story takes you on…loved it! I love how Amie tied The Line into this book too!
What an amazing conclusion to this duet. I can’t say enough about how perfect this story is. It has everything you’re looking for — angst, laughter, tears, and the quotes…holy cow the quotes get me! This will forever be one of my most favorite duets! Thank you Amie for writing such an amazing set of books! Adam and Liv will forever live in my heart and every time I gaze upon the stars, I will think of them!
“He was the love of my life. He was my biggest tragedy.”
In Her Space, the stunning conclusion to Amie Knight’s Stars Duet, was absolutely amazing!! I LOVE Amie Knight’s writing and I think the Stars duet is her best work yet! In Her Space takes place 10 years after Beneath His Stars. And a lot has transpired in the 10 years Adam and Liv have spent apart. When they are suddenly thrown back into the same world, Adam’s anger and desire for revenge nearly keep the pair apart. But have no fear, Adam and Liv FINALLY get their HEA. This duet is outstanding and I truly think you shouldn’t waste time reading reviews. Instead, one-click the Stars Duet immediately and discover why I loved it so very much.
“We could have burned the world down. Maybe we did. Maybe we’d burned too bright. Too big. Until we’d just snuffed out.”
Amie Knight is incredibly talented. In Her Space truly was the perfect conclusion to the Stars Duet. The storyline was entertaining and well-paced and I was entertained from start to finish. I already knew I loved the characters from reading Beneath His Stars. But Adam and Liv were only late teens in the previous book, so I was able to connect with them so much better in the second book because they were adults. The past plays heavily into the emotions of the story and the enemies to lovers vibe that exists when Adam returns to Madison is delicious. They have an intensity to their romance that bleeds off the page while you consume the duet. It’s sexy. And I am a sucker for a second chance romance. Although as close as Adam and Liv were in their teens, they could not remain enemies forever. Their passion for one another burns brightly and damn near incinerated my kindle at one point. Amie Knight wrote a story that allowed for fantastic character growth. The story was unique and inspired and I just know that readers will love this one!
OMG – just an amazing conclusion to Liv and Adam’s story!!! So many feels! Ten years later and so much has changed. They have changed. There’s twists, turns, answers, special moments and so much more. I will never be able to look at the stars again without thinking of this story.
Exquisite Conclusion to an Epic Story!
Adam and Livvy’s story is an amazing one that I’ll not soon forget for it has found a place in my heart. Their tale will be one I revisit many times. It’s heart wrenching yet beautiful, sweet and full of hope. I don’t imagine I’ll be able to look up at the stars again without thinking of them.
In Her Space Book 2 of The Stars Duet by Amie Knight
5++ Stars ~ TOP Reads for 2018!!
What an amazing conclusion to an awesome duet!! Loved it soo hard!! Kept my interest! A lot of emotions that it kept me sucked right in. Its soooo good!
Amie Knight did a superb job! Very well written! Loved the characters! THIS IS EVERYTHING!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
“I don’t need to close my eyes, Adam. I’m living the dream.”
My heart is full now that Adam and Liv got their HEA but I wanted to smack Adam for waiting as long as he did. There was a slight twist with Braden, Sebastian and Mel, I did not see coming. I did feel for Braden though, I wanted his dad to suffer even more for what he did. I’m glad to get a glimpse of Everly and Cole.
Liv and Adam’s conclusion had me riveted from start to finish. There was so much going on. The road to happiness isn’t always easy, and there were a few bumps along the road, but it was so worth the read. Some of it I managed to guess, or mostly guess, but some took me by surprise. It was a duet I thoroughly enjoyed.
I thought this was the PERFECT ending for Livingston and Adam!! There is a time jump-it will make sense if you’ve read the first book…and it picks up in the most amazing way. I love what Livingston is doing with her life, and Adam….sigh !! All of the secrets from the first book come to light…everything wrapped up just perfectly!! Amazing duet!
Where to begin, I am so hungover from this Duet. This read gave me everything, I had tears and chills and an overwhelming filling of love and admiration for this couple. First you have to read, Beneath his stars to get In her Space. 10 years due lapse in this read so we get Adam and Liv as adults . Adam at 19 ain’t got nothing on Adam at 29, he is more intense, I gotta nervous for Liv when she has to see him again. These two were made for one another, gah you just want them to happy and together and everything and everyone is preventing it. Their were a few chapters that Liv had that made me all leaky just from the emotion that this author portrays you feel like its happening to you and your friends, which is a beautiful feeling to have. Their are a lot of secrets that get revealed and you will get heartbroken. Then the Stars are always still there just waiting for your wishes.
I loved that this author intertwined one of her previous reads The Line it was just an added bonus. How will I ever recover.
I was confident that Amie would completely wow me with the second book in The Stars Duet, and I was correct in thinking that. She completely captivated me.
This story is a beautiful, heartfelt, second chance romance that takes place 10 years after the first book. Again with the feels galore and the author also adds in the perfect amount of suspense without letting it overshadow the romance aspect.
Adam and Liv’s story is a whole lot of sweet, and a whole lot of sexy. One chapter Adam would have me swooning. The next my heart would be broken for him. And the next I’d have a, damn that’s hot reaction. It was the perfect blend of everything I love in a well written romance.
I can not recommend this duet enough. It has definitely made it on my Top 2018 Reads List.
IN HER SPACE is Book 2 in the 2 Book THE STARS DUET. Since reading Book 1: BENEATH HIS STARS, I have been anxiously waiting for the release of this book.
Ten years later Livingston Montgomery and Adam Nova reunited in the South Carolina sunshine. Rather anticlimactic after all this time apart. They both have changed dramatically from all those years apart from their magical time under the stars. Adam is now a successful business man, and she is just a shadow of her former self. But what ever changes had taken place they are still ‘them against the world’. And wherever they were, he wanted to be in her space.
Even after all these years they were two magnets drawn to each other. There stares unwavering, their chests rising and falling in sync, their eyes mysteriously glued to each others. And gone was the boy, and in his place was a devastating man. He was back. He was scary. He was gorgeous. She had never stopped loving him. He was the one love of her life. He also was her biggest tragedy. To him she was beautiful. It was like he had never left. They may have been older, but the connection, the electricity. Had not gone anywhere.
She had changed she was no longer a star gazer dreamer, and not even wanting to ‘look up’! Three years in prison, for a framed reason had changed them both. But they were both back home. She felt that home wasn’t a feeling, but a feeling people give you. And if Adam was her home then she would fight for him. Adam felt like he had fallen in love many times in his life, but always with the same woman Livingston Rose Montgomery. Not an easy ending for everyone, but the best for this duet books. Highly recommend!
If you fell in love with Adam Nova at 19 you will fall harder for Adam at 29. This book had it all fairytale ending , a bit of justice served for the folks who were involved in the set up on Adam .
Just when I thought this duet could not get any better Amie makes it even more so. Adam and Liv are beautiful characters and were written into such an amazing story. I love when two characters find themselves and their true loves. My emotions were all over the place and I simply could not put this book down. I’m still trying to catch my breath and know this duet will stick with me for a very long time. Simply wonderful.
