“I am irrevocably in love with IN HARMONY.” —Katy Regnery, New York Times Bestselling AuthorThe root of all madness is an unbearable truth… their posh penthouse in New York City to the tiny town of Harmony, Indiana, Willow becomes more untethered and lost under the weight of her secret. On a whim, she auditions for a part in the community theater’s production of Hamlet and unexpectedly wins the role of Ophelia—the girl who is undone by madness, and her love of Hamlet…
Isaac Pierce is from the ‘wrong side of the tracks.’ The town bad boy. Girls pine for his attention and guys are in awe of him. That he’s an acting prodigy only adds to his charisma. Isaac utterly disappears into his characters; the stage is the only place he feels safe from his own traumatic home life. He wants nothing more than to escape to Broadway or Hollywood, and leave Harmony behind for good.
No one can play Hamlet but Isaac, and when the director pairs him with Willow in acting class, they clash again and again—neither willing to open their hearts to anyone. But clashing leads to breaking, breaking leads to the spilling of terrible secrets, and soon Isaac and Willow find Shakespeare’s words mirroring their lives. When they are cruelly torn apart, neither know how this play will end—with madness and heartache? Or healing, love, and the discovery of who they are truly meant to be.

Emma Scott hits it out of the park with IN HARMONY, her latest standalone novel. For anyone who’s ever fallen in love on- or off-stage, this “Hamlet”-themed romance is for you!
In Harmony is a masterful story of life imitating art. It is heartbreaking but beautiful, emotional and raw, gritty but also inspirational and empowering at the same time.
Willow Holloway has been living as a shell of her former self, a devastating event stripping her of everything she held dear, her life suddenly imitating the story her grandmother used to tell her.
Once upon a time, there was a Little Light. She was born on the wick of a tall white candle and lived among a thousand other flames. Her world was filled with gold and warmth and good things. The Light danced and flickered, practiced stretching herself tall. And she was happy. Until a fierce wind gusted and blew out all the other candles. Alone in the dark, Little Light clung to her wick and survived.
Moving to Harmony from New York City, Willow tries to piece her life back together and tries out for the role of Ophelia in the local Community Theater’s play of Hamlet. Is she doing it to get her parents off her back about college, or is she doing it because she can’t keep her eyes off Isaac Pearce, the guy who screams danger but makes her strangely feel safe?
Isaac Pearce is quite an enigma. A theatrical prodigy, he comes alive on stage, holding audiences captive with his mesmerizing presence and artistic ability to become each role he plays. Completely different from the little boy whose mother’s death shocked him so badly, he didn’t speak for an entire year, and his father turned into an abusive drunk who took his frustrations at life out on Isaac.
I was totally immersed in this story, fascinated by Willow and Isaac. Two people who have been dealt some tragic blows in their very young lives and the only way they know how to deal with it is by telling their stories through the characters they are portraying in this play. The parallels of Willow’s life to that of Ophelia’s life in Hamlet were striking and devastating. This is what I mean about art imitating life. Willow and Isaac’s relationship grew stronger day by day but had to be kept secret because of Willow’s overbearing father. Just as Ophelia’s father demanded she stay away from Hamlet. The stolen moments of time that Willow and Isaac eek out were precious and perfect and I wanted to hide these two away so they could just be together without fear of retribution or punishment.
I feel like a broken record in saying that Emma blows me away with each book she writes, but it’s the truth. How she seamlessly weaves this tale of young love so closely miming the Greek tragedy of Shakespeare’s play just left me speechless. The selfless way that Willow and Isaac are willing to sacrifice their own happiness so that the other will thrive and find happiness left my heart a tattered mess. Those gusts of wind that kept coming along, trying to blow out Willow’s light made my blood boil and my claws come out, ready to fight for her. I’ve never wanted two people to triumph more than Willow and Isaac.
This story had the absolute best group of supporting characters. I want my own Angie to be my BFF and her mom, Bonnie to wrap me up in her arms. I loved Benny and Martin too. It just goes to show you that family is who you make it, not the blood that runs in your veins.
I can’t recommend this book enough. Will you shed tears reading it? I did, but it was cathartic. Ultimately it is a story of how brave these two people are and how strongly they held onto their lights and didn’t let anyone or anything extinguish them.

ARC kindly received in exchange for an honest review.
Emma Scott never fails to write an amazing story. In Harmony was fantastic. Life imitates art in the story of Willow and Isaac, two people from entirely different worlds, who are perfect for one another, and just what the other needs. Brought together to perform the main roles of one of Shakespeare’s famous plays – Hamlet.
Willow has been through the unspeakable, and Isaac has had his fair share of hardship as well. I was hooked by this one instantly, and I fell in love with both characters. I also loved Angie and her Mum, and Marty and Brenda. There’s so much love in this story, even surrounded by so much harshness and hate.
Willow and Isaac both have to come terms with their lives and what has happened to them, and to move forward. Watching them trying to work things out, and doing it together when they finally let it, is awesome.
Their acting lends a huge role to this story, and I enjoyed how it was incorporated and really woven together in the story to show life and art, tangled together and totally seperate at the same time.
Also highlighted in this story is the all to real fact of social structures and opinions. Who’s better than who? Who’s deemed to be from the “wrong side of the tracks”? Everything in this story is so well, and it unfolds perfectly. There’s emotion everywhere, but surrounded by it all is the strength of the characters.
I loved the way things unfolded, and how the story ultimately ends. Highly recommend, as always with Emma Scott. She never lets us down.
Hauntingly beautiful poignant and emotional story.
Raw, gritty, intense and suspenseful story moved me to the core.
The story of Willow and Isaac was tragic yet uplifting. Ugly yet beautiful.
The writing was flawless and the characters were well developed complex and likable. Flawed characters that found another voice that helped them work through their tragic pasts. The passion and love conveyed in this story overrode the evil villains.
The secondary characters added a different dimension to the story and can certainly carry their own. #teamangie!
The real beauty of this read is I never know what to expect with this author’s stories except they take me on a deep emotional journey.
For a smart, sharp and thought provoking read this is a must read!
6 EPIC, UNIQUE, RIP-YOUR-HEART-OUT STARS!!!!
Emma Scott just keeps getting better and BETTER with EVERY. SINGLE. BOOK!!!! She is an ABSOLUTE unicorn and THIS novel highlights JUST how INCREDIBLY talented she truly IS!!! I put up 6 stars, but it ACTUALLY is UNLIMITED!!!!
Willow Holloway and Isaac Pearce are two of THE most intense, lost and messed up characters through everything they’ve experienced in their young lives! And yet they BOTH have survived and continue to have that most basic of all of life’s needs….HOPE!!! It might be buried deep at times, but it burns like a flickering flame, refusing to be snuffed out no matter WHAT life throws at them! And believe me….what they go through is NOT for the faint of heart!
This EPIC love story took me on a journey to I-didn’t-know-where and left me GASPING, DROWNING in the FEELS….from HATE to HEAT to HEART-STOPPING ANGST to HUGE LUMPS of EMOTION making it damn-near IMPOSSIBLE to BREATHE and finally, to THE most PERFECTLY, INSANELY beautiful ending that ONLY Emma Scott can give!!!
THIS book is unlike ANY OTHER and irregardless whether you like, love, hate or don’t know anything about Shakespeare, I guarantee you will LOVE this AMAZING story as much as I did!!! Thank you Emma, for giving me this never-to-be-forgotten story that will live in my heart and soul forever!!!
Emma Scott’s new novel, In Harmony, left me breathless. The beauty of her words and her fundamental understanding of the human psyche continue to reach into my soul sometimes leaving me bereft, but always flooding me with hope and in the end a feeling of well-being and joy.
The juxtaposition of Willow and Issac’s story with Shakespeare’s Hamlet explodes with emotion, bringing the reader to their knees. Scott’s characters are heartbreaking in their pain and isolation, both of them striving to overcome events that have wounded and scarred them beyond bearing. Willow’s journey is exceptionally poignant. Her shame and self-loathing combined with her overwhelming fear and anger warp her very being. Finding her voice through Ophelia starts to give her the strength to navigate her path to healing.
In spite of the strife and pain in this story, there’s an abundance of humor and goodness provided by the characters of Angie, Marty, Benny, and Bonnie – the type of mother everyone wishes were their own. Emma Scott never fails to deliver personalities offering generosity and kindness of spirit that’s both believable and sought after in real life.
In Harmony is a monumental work. It’s stayed with me for days, and I’ve reread it once already. It’s a beguiling novel, pulling you deep into both Shakespeare’s and Willow and Issac’s worlds. If I could rate it more than 5stars, I would.
It’s never too late!
Do trials and tribulations in life shape the person we are meant to be? Emma Scott brings us into a world of contradiction, heartbreak, devastation, ultimate friendship, and caring. Just to add some pizzazz Emma adds some old-time English by bringing in Shakespeare.
Isaac Pearce, once had a great home with loving parents that was until his mother had a stroke and died. That day changed his life forever; he didn’t speak for a whole year, was held back in school, his father turned to the bottle and became abusive, losing the home they had when his mother was alive. Isaac now lives on the outskirts of town in a mobile home on the Junkyard property.
Willow Holloway, from Manhattan, New York knew nothing of hardship that was until her 17th birthday, her parents were out of town, she took that opportunity to throw herself a birthday party in the brownstone home. Something awful happened at the party that changed her life, and she will keep a secret to protect herself and her family. This secret changes everything about the once bright eager happy girl. Her father’s position transfers him from New York to Harmony, Indiana in the middle of her senior year in high school. There’s nothing like starting a new high school in January during your senior year.
When Isaac and Willow meet in English class the attraction was electrical and only grew from there, two souls united by horrible events that changed their lives forever.
Emma Scott’s writing is so believable that you can picture yourself in the scene witnessing all the infractions as a bystander. Thank you for all your words, truly a piece of magic!
Wow, what a remarkable story.
Even though Willow changes school in the middle of the senior year, she thinks of it as something good. She comes to Harmony to heal after a traumatic event. Full of secrets, without friends and with a family that doesn’t understand her she auditions for Hamlet to lose herself in the hundred-year-old words.
In school, she finds drawn to a town bad boy, Isaac. He’s the quiet boy that doesn’t talk much but is well known for his role in theater’s plays.
Isaac is broken too, in his own way. He sees something in Willow, something they have in common.
When they both get parts in Hamlet, they started to get to know each other and with that comes the secrets, the past and a wonderful story about two lost souls.
I truly recommend this well-written story because you will get lost in this story too. I read Hamlet in high school and I got to know more about the meaning of the words in this book. I was so pulled to the story, I cried at the end of it. It’s a story full of emotions, heartache but also love.
4,5 ”The love was there first” stars.
(I wanted to know more about Isaac’s story, why he didn’t talk for less than a year that’s why half star less…)

Willow and Isaac are brought together when both of them are at their lowest in life and victims of unimaginable tragedy. Together they have to face the harsh obstacles that are presented to them. It is a very realistic and emotional book; you will feel deep sadness as well as a love that is unbreakable.
The characters in the book were well developed and very likeable, you can’t help falling in love with most of them. I loved reading the quirky sayings on Angie’s shirts throughout the book.
The story of Willow and Isaac was heartfelt and will hold you hostage until the last page is read. It was beautifully written and it is a must read for any romantic.
“When confronted with yes or no, always choose yes.”
Be still my heart… I’ve only very recently discovered Emma Scott, this being the second of her titles I’ve read. Well, I can now confirm, my love of the first was no fluke, she is amazingly talented. She touched me deeply, again. She not only wrote two beautifully broken main characters, but she also filled in the supporting roles to perfection. I laughed, I cried, I hated, I hurt and I loved, not necessarily in that order. I felt all the feels and then I added this title to my ‘favorites’ shelf.
Willow was already broken when I first met her. She was just a shell of her former self. It was painful to be in her head as she suffered and I wanted so desperately for someone to see her. It’s like she was invisible, purposely so. She’d withdrawn into herself and stopped caring about everything. Her parents were so focused on themselves they didn’t even notice. While most teenagers who were in their senior year of high school would raise hell and fight tooth and nail when forced to move away so close to graduation, she didn’t. Hello. Red flag anyone? Yeah, I wanted to throw my Kindle at her parents, and you will too.
Then I met Isaac, and he’d been broken even longer than Willow. His pain was a way of life at that point. He’s just existing. “I didn’t live until I was on stage.” And that’s the only time he used his voice. He was the town’s bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks. He’s gorgeous and all the girls want him, but not to keep. They love to gossip about him and his family. He’s a loner and doesn’t bother trying to socialize. He just saves his pain for the stage and then he’s transformed. His talent is undeniable and that just makes him more of a threat to the rich boys who’s money can’t compete when he’s receiving standing ovations.
They are both just trying to survive unnoticed, but that’s impossible. Especially when they see each other. They are drawn to each other but resistant to the attraction. When she decides to audition for a part in a play where he will most likely be cast as the lead that doesn’t stop her. She’s been warned away from him. But that doesn’t stop her either. Their connection is intense and their future looks like the tragedy they are rehearsing. They are doomed. But tell that to their hearts. The hearts that they thought were dead but suddenly started beating again.
Willow learned from her grandmother at a very young age that every story has an ‘until’ and that was a very scary proposition for her. It’s hard to hope when your dreams have been taken away. It’s easy for others to say “it’s never too late” but hard for those that can’t see the light. On her first day of school in Harmony, Willow met Angie. She shined a little light into her world, and mine. I adore her. She’s funny and sweet and exactly what Willow needs in her life if she’ll let her in. I was highly amused by her hilarious graphic tees and I’ll be shopping online later to see if I can find some of them.
This story spoke to my heart, touching places I wasn’t expecting and soothing me with tears and laughter. Since turning that last page I can’t stop replaying it in my mind, over and over like a favorite movie. It would be amazing on screen. I’m really looking forward to whatever the author has planned next. The line forms here…
Emma Scott is my new go-to author!
Sixteen year old Willow Holloway survived a sexual assault but a year later is not coping well. She’s shut down, cut herself away from friends and family, and sleeps on the floor. When her father is transferred from New York to a small mid-west town she hopes to finally find some peace from her demons.
Isaac Pierce knows all about monsters. After his mother’s death as a child, Isaac’s dad turned to alcohol for escape and used his fists for the anger. Isaac withdraws. The only thing that gives him comfort is acting, a way to release his emotions without fear of reprisal.
When the new girl in town (Willow) tries out for the play he’s in, a connection is made. Two wounded souls seek comfort, then something more over months of practicing Shakespeare’s famous Hamlet.
Young love is tested by secrets, worthiness, and misunderstandings. The author touches on the subject of domestic and sexual abuse with poignancy and a clarity that draws empathy and anger from this reader.
Unfortunately, this scenario happens all too often in real life. It has to stop, an I for one, am glad authors like Emma Scott is working to show those affected they aren’t alone.
Here’s to change- it’s time!
I give In Harmony 5+ lovely kisses- This is a Much Read!
***5 ‘My Until’ Stars***
The description was the hook for me. Two bruised and battered souls searching for a way to get out of the purgatory they were existing in and finding it through Hamlet, the play that many hail as Shakespeare’s masterpiece? I was all “Sign me up” and I devoured this baby. It had all the feels, that never ventured into OTT territory, and characters that were so well written and felt so real that I wanted to spend more time with them and see where their journeys took them.
I loved Issac and Willow upon first meeting them. They are both struggling with their own issues and simply existing. But despite all the turmoil they are dealing with, they have this quiet strength that simmering beneath the surface that continues to push them to find a way out. It was honestly hard to not fall in love with both of them, even when they had me growling in frustration at some of the choices they made, they both have good hearts and souls that just needed to find a way to heal.
~ ’A2,S2’ ~
I thoroughly enjoyed their slow build romance and how preparing for Hamlet helped to push things along, not only on the romance between Issac and Willow, but as away to help them confront their demons. It’s a testament to how art can affect ones perspective. As for the romance, the attraction is there from the start, but with both of dealing with their own personal demons there was nothing insta about it. Watching as they learned to trust one another and see who the other was beneath the armor they wore like a second skin was fun to experience. There were a lot of roadblocks in the journey but each one only served to make them stronger and bring them closer together and I couldn’t be happier with where they were at in the end.
This was only my third read by Emma Scott and I’m still blown away by how easy it is for me to get lost in her words. She brought the characters to life and made them people I wanted to know more about and see them overcome their demons and be who they were always meant to be. Outside of Issac and Willow, I adored Martin and Angie and wouldn’t mind seeing Angie get a book of her own someday down the road. She does tackle a few heavy issues in this book and does it with a healthy dose of eloquence and respect, and never in a gratuitous manner.
So, if you’re in the mood for a well written YA romance that leans more towards the ‘A’ side of the coin, is filled with all the feels and great character development, then In Harmony is one you need to grab!

When you power is stripped, your innocence destroyed, your soul stripped and your flame is dimmed is there a way back to living, trusting and loving? Can you allow people to be close to you again? Can you speak the words to describe what happened to you? Can you utter #metoo ?
What a beautiful story! This is my first book by the author amd I am so in lobe! I have always liked a little forbidden heartwreching love story and this one has this! Love it and need to read more of this author. Isaac and Willow help each other in a way we would never understand in real life. There is not much drama between these two but there is a lot for both of them. They will need fight agains judgamental people who doesn’t know the real story of a person. This book is so worthy and need more of these two.
How does a teenage girl move passed an incident that unequivocally changed EVERY aspect of her life? That redefined her in ways that will constantly haunt her and force her to remain at a distance from everyone. How does she conceal the truth, carrying the heavy burden alone, never facing it…never having an outlet or a shoulder to cry on when the pain and darkness overwhelm her?
How does a teenage boy live each day under an overwhelming amount of pressure and neglect and still manage to get up in the morning and do what needs to be done? How does he found moments of happiness amidst the swirling maelstrom that is his life?
“When sorrows come, they come not single spies. But in battalions!”
And the ‘sorrows’ that Willow Holloway and Isaac Pearce face as young adults prove just how debilitating and life changing desolation can be, especially when the circumstances are due to someone else’s actions, having no choice but to weather the storm, lamenting their lives and wishing that they could free themselves from the albatross that inhibits them from moving on.
It makes sense that both Willow and Isaac would be attracted to the stage…because it’s an environment that allows them to be someone else…to free themselves of their reality and recreate fictional scenes and be fictional characters, offering them a place where reality can blend with fiction and pieces of their grief and rage find an outlet in a rather unconventional but useful way.
Emma Scott chose the perfect Shakespearean tragedy for Willow and Isaac to act out, and while Willow and Isaac’s ending most definitely will not be the same as their characters’ resolutions, it’s more than obvious the similarities that exist between Willow and Ophelia and Isaac and Hamlet. And while it’s not necessarily art imitating life, Willow and Isaac’s respective characters allude to their own emotional torment – feelings of madness, of grief, of rage, of loneliness, of despair.
As Willow and Isaac’s lives intertwine, they find the person who ‘gets’ them without even needing to share their pasts. The events that have shaped them both tether them together and refuse to untangle, even when outside forces don’t hesitate to end what these two teens are building.
“Though this be madness, yet there is method in’t.”
Emma Scott’s writing gives voice to the hellish circumstances that some teens must endure…to their inability to make their own decisions while they remain in their parents’ homes…to the despondent feelings that exist because the things that weigh them down are not entirely self-created…to the pressures of growing up compounded by issues out of their control. Being a teenager in today’s society is not an easy path to journey, especially when the dips and curves of that road become too complex and too brutal to not be scarred by it. Scott takes care when illustrating the extraordinarily difficult situations/incidences that redefine who Willow and Isaac are and while it’s challenging to deal with on their own, Scott explains why that is sometimes the only way to cope until the right person comes along to help share the pain and anguish.
“This above all: to thine own self be true.”
Like attracts like…like senses like…whether it be due to painful pasts or the current pressures that surround them, and it’s clear from Willow and Isaac’s moving story that the only way these two characters can cope with everything they’ve endured and continue to battle is if they act as each other’s guiding light and comforting place to land when everything gets too overwhelming and draining.
This was my first read from Emma Scott even though I have a number of her books on my kindle, and I can assuredly say that everything I’ve read about her writing and her storytelling is beyond accurate, and I’m so glad that I signed up for In Harmony’s Blog Tour because reading it was as beautifully heartbreaking as it was thought provoking and emotionally overwhelming.

Whoa this book might be BEST work of Emma’s yet and it’s saying something as she writes fantastic, spectacular books. I truly loved every single second of this emotional, powerful story.
I don’t know how to start reviewing this book because i know whatever i say it won’t do this beautiful story any justice. It deserves all the appreciation and best in the word. I have always adored Emma’s books but this story knocked the air out of me. Oh God so many emotions i can’t even begin to talk about them… Not yet. I was up last night till 3AM reading this heartbreaking, raw story. I couldn’t stop reading even jus for a second. I was sobbing throughout the whole book. It was not an easy read for me but i m so glad i read this book. I was missing out on one of the best stories ever written.
I won’t go into details of this book jus that it’s most beautifully written book I’ve ever read. It’s emotional, heartbreaking, rip your hear kind of book but it will heal you and you will fall in love.. This book touched my soul. I loved the friendship, the fire and angst between the Issac and Willow and the love and trust that developed between them. EXCEPTIONAL, SPECTACULAR, BRILLIANT, FANTASTIC and i could go on and on but words won’t it justice. This is by far the best book I’ve read this year, and def one of my top and favorite read of 2020. Believe me if you haven’t read this yet you are MISSING OUT. This is the story you NEED to READ!!!
In Harmony is about seventeen year old Willow falling into darkness after being raped. Willow chose to hide behind the pain and humiliation to protect her family. They noticed a change in her, yet couldn’t reach out to her since she never told them. When her father’s company relocated them from NYC to Harmony, Indiana they hoped the change would brighten her spirits.
Willow meets Isaac a nineteen year James Dean look alike. She’s been warned that he’s a criminal and the twin bad boy. All accolades come from his standing ovation performances at the Harmony Community Theater.
There are many other components that contribute to Willow and Isaac’s journey. Both are faced with consequences and obstacles of darkness in there journey to finding love.
Isaac lives in Harmony, Indiana in a double wide trailer with his father. Isaac feels trapped in Harmony with the need to care for his abusive alcoholic father. After losing his mother his father turned to alcohol. As a result his business suffered. Isaac took it upon himself to work two jobs to help keep the bills paid.
The key concept of blending the roles of Willow and Isaac with that of Ophelia and Hamlet was brilliant. When both are cast as the leading role in Hamlet the reader can feel the energy exude from them. However, With that said I’m not a fan of Hamlet so those scenes were lost to me. It’s evident in the story that Emma did a great deal of research to enhance her characters roles in this book by allowing life’s experiences meld with Shakespeare’s words.
Not every part of this execution was delivered in a way that had me turning each page. The story fell short in other areas. There were too many other components crowding out the concept. The relationship with the friends, the relationship with the father, the relationship with Benny, the relationship with the parents, and the relationship with Justin. All was too much.
In Harmony is a young adult story about two teenagers in high school who find themselves tethered together by an emotional bond built from a crossover love story of Hamlet and Ophelia.
While this was an okay story I still found myself skimming scenes. I was just too impatient to explore all that was Willow and Isaac. I had different expectations and directions for both characters. My imagination took over during the areas where the story built secondary relationships.
This might come across as heartless but I didn’t feel Willow’s pain from the beginning of the story. Maybe this was intentional on Emma’s part. Maybe it was a way to build the hurt and pain to time it for a grand finale. I needed more pain in order to truly understand and connect with Willow.
Goodness me i don’t even know where to start with this review, when i opened this book i went in completely blind and i am so glad i did from the first page i was hooked and i knew there was going to be an epic story here.
There’s not many times that i finish a book and I’m just sitting there thinking, i loved this book, it gave me so many feelings, i will never forget this book. I will always remember Isaac and Willow and how in the hell am i going to write a good enough review for how i feel and to do the book justice, well I can’t.
This story is of tragedy, finding yourself believing and trusting in others, having a voice, and just be you and don’t worry about what anyone else thinks.
In this story Isaac and Willow both have dark pasts and they have to overcome a lot and reading both these characters and how they grow from the start of the book to the finish was such a beautiful story and i loved that Shakespeare was so prominent in this book and making me love those old stories again.
I loved all the other characters like Martin and Brenda and Benny and especially Angie we all need an Angie in our lives that’s for sure, but i loved how this story was a love story but it was also a book that showed that love was never easy and you had to fight for what you wanted and be patient.
I haven’t read many Emma Scott books as yet but god every time i have picked one up i am never disappointed this was an emotional, beautiful and heartwarming story with your villains to make the journey harder but so worth it.
Absolutely loved In Harmony and i can’t wait to get into more Emma Scott books
Beautiful, haunting and moving story. Willow is 17 and is haunted by her worst nightmare last summer, she shut down from everything. Her dad uproots the family from NYC to a small town in Indiana, Willow is finding her place in this small town and finds her way into Hamlet. Isaac is trapped living with his drunk abusive dad until he can break free of Harmony. But he has his sights set on getting out using his acting until he meets Willow. This story is beautiful and haunting. I loved it.
