Fun read during our isolation….
I enjoyed reading this book. I think it is something my mother would enjoy.
Enjoyable and interesting mystery.
Great characters, kept me interested to the end. I’ve already recommended to others!
Fun fast read
Fun read.
It was a laugh out loud book that I thoroughly enjoyed. It was the best read I’ve had since the COVID-19 took over my life and I’m reading two books a day.
This is a very enjoyable read. The “seasoned” ladies were really fun people.
This was a wacky read, and had enough twists and turns to keep me reading it way late at night. The characters were really cool too! What a great book. Looking forward to reading the next one in the series.
Fun read.
I enjoyed the characters: Lillian owns the lovely run down old house. Her friend Maggie comes to live with her. Then Lillian disappears leaving Maggie in charge. It turns out Lillian got taken by the undertaker that buried her husband and several other folks that lost loved one. Lillian ends up in jail. Interesting people in jail. Maggie and friends to the rescue.
It was a sweet read I have these ladies came together to save the day
These older ladies are a hoot!
Amusing and good clean fun.
Well written cozy mystery with a fun cast of characters.
A very entertaining book, easy to read. Wanted to keep reading to the very end. Wonderful characters.
In for a Penny is a fun, easy read for relaxing.
Lots of potty mouth language turned me off in this book. Very slow and a downer at the beginning. Got some better towards the middle. Ending wasn’t satisfying, but rather but rather a set up for sequel.
Enjoyed reading this ‘Southern story ‘ and the adventure with the wonderful warm clever ‘little old lady ‘ characters . Plenty of fun and smiles
I enjoyed reading it
