The Scoop
By now you’re probably aware that the Alex Troutt thrillers, Ivy Nash thrillers, and the Ozzie Novak thrillers are all under the same Redemption Thriller Series umbrella. Why? Because, ultimately, they all connect — Alex, Ivy, Ozzie. How? That’s part of the mystery that I’m slowly unveiling throughout the Redemption Thriller Series.
Through each sub-series, characters from different books appear in the other novels. If it adds suspense, intrigue, or even a good laugh, I’ve included a cross-over character — it’s a lot more fun that way. Plus — and here’s the real kicker — the final six novels will bring all of the major characters together — Alex, Ivy, Ozzie. It will be explosive and gut-wrenching…in a way that will leave you breathless.more
It could be described as a page turner…somewhat scaring but great writing; one of those nights I could NOT put the book down. Good writing…held my interest. I recommend it.

Another good book from Medford
Keeps you guessing..
I liked it kept my interest until the end. Ivy is one gutsy lady it’s the first of her series I read. Have to get back ones to read. Like to know how her story started. And want to know how her other characters end up
I enjoyed reading this book & look forward to reading the next one
Fast read easy to follow
Great Book.
good read
enjoyable light reading
This book was a page turner it wasn’t scary per say but scary about what was going to happen next
I’m a character reader, I get into the characters, their story, who/what they are, why they do the things they do. The author continues to do an amazing job of developing Ivy, now in a role different from the first books. This book is in all senses of the word, a thriller, continuing Ivy’s story. Darker than his Alex Trout books, that’s it, no more spoilers from me though I can see more about Ivy in the future. Outstanding read! John Mefford has rapidly become one of my favorite authors and Ivy has already surpassed Alex Troutt as one of my favorite characters!
If you’ve never read one of John’s Ivy Nash thrillers, jump in while this title is only 0.99. It’s a suspenseful, fast-paced read that should go down a treat with thriller lovers everywhere, especially those that like heroes who don’t always do things by the book.
Another great book by Mefford. This is the third book in the series and each book gets better than the last. Lots of twists and turns. Surprise ending. Could not put the book down. Can’t wait for your next book.
Such a wonderful story written by a great Author, John W. Mefford. The Ivy Nash series is a great series and well worth the read. But then all Mefford books produces, and continue to produce throughout the series. I encourage the reader to read the series and this book once you read it will help you to know why. Exciting, different from anything you ever read, this book takes you to unexpected places. Ivy Nash is another one of John Mefford’s wonderful creations and you do NOT want to miss it. So grab a copy and “go there”, and allow Mefford to lead you to some very exciting reading.
IN Doubt starts with a very broken Ivy, she has sunk into a kind of depression following the events of book 3 that saw her come face to face with her past and kidnapper Milton Webber. She is paranoid, jumpy and far from the strong Ivy we have come to love.
ECHO is suffering as she has no desire to take on new cases instead she sits at home waiting on what she believes is the inevitable return of Milton.
That is until Christina gives her a shake and gets her on a job looking after a little girl called Emma who they had saved a few weeks prior from her mother who was trying to sell her at a truck stop – who does that!? This is not a simple babysitting stint for Ivy and Christina and with the help of Stan and his cousin Nick from the FBI they untangle a massive web of lies, deceit and depravity surrounding Emma’s father Dillon.
At the same time Christina is dealing with ghosts from her past that lead her to being accused of murder – this really tests the bonds of friendship between her and Ivy, who has a shadow of doubt regarding Christina’s innocence.
IN Doubt is a little more subdued book compared to the previous books killings but it was still every bit a fantastic gripping read.
Book 4 can’t come quick enough!
