My girls, when little listened and read the Junnie B. Jones books by Barbra Park. It may just be the nostalgia but this book reminds me so much of that series. The audio on these books is what grabbed me and I have read and listened to each one in the series. It is a little quirky, funny and tasteful all rolled in one. If you are looking for a fun …
I found this book on the online library for our daughter’s high school library and let’s face it, books are hard to get your hands on during the scamdemic, so I picked this out judging it by its cover. It was a fine enough read. Funny. One character totally drove me insane, but she was supposed to, but I could have done without being annoyed by …
I love this story and these characters! We need more and more books by this author!
This book was HILARIOUS! Seriously, you’ll find yourself, smiling, laughing and just enjoying this light, funny story about a teen-aged foster child.
A long overdue story!
My rating is 4.5 stars
I have been watching and waiting for more books by Jenny B. Jones. I just never dreamed the next would pick up with Katie Parker’s life in college! After all, Can’t Let You Go is her post-college story. But we needed to know what happened in college. Or at least needed another opportunity to see Katie …
Great story with some funny parts ! Enjoyed this page turner !
I found this book to be most enjoyable. Katie Parker is a teenager with a mom in jail for dealing drugs and a father who is our of her life and is in foster care. She is taken in by a pastor and his wife as a foster child. She rebels, and misbehaves because she is sure that she is so awful that the family will be sending her back. While the …
Easy read. Nice story line. Great book!
Now I’ll admit I had some issues with this book, such as Katie sometimes acting way too mature (..giving life advice to adults..) and sometimes way too young (..claiming Ebola to get out of school like a very young child..), but Katie’s snarky sense of humor kept me reading, and laughing. There was also A LOT of religious/Christian preaching …
Enjoyed, delightful.
Great story.
Absolutely enjoyed it!!
This book seemed to be about real people.
I really enjoyed reading In Between. Many amusing and laugh out loud passages to read. I liked reading the story from Katie’s viewpoint. Definitely a two thumbs up, 5-star rating type of book.
Could not get interested in story line.
I haven’t finished the book quit yet but from what I have seen it’s hilarious and wonderful character ,especially the grandma. Don’t know what else to say but you should definitely get the book!
This was a really good story. I enjoyed it a great deal, and still a few weeks later the main character floats through my mind.
Enjoyed it
This is so poorly written and I do not recommend this book at all.
I liked that it portrayed a foster child. I work with foster children and some of it is “real”. The very happy ending is not always the case, but a good introduction to the topic.
