A tale as old as time: she needs a place to stay, he’s a grump with a secret and an extra room…can love find a way? Meet the Naughty Princess Club, a series from USA Today bestselling author Tara Sivec that brings readers to Fairytale Lane and the hilarity–and romance–that three women fall into once they decide to strut their stuff and bring on their own happily ever after. Living in her … after.
Living in her overprotective dad’s basement, shy Belle lives her life through books. Being a part of the Naughty Princess Club is the first adventure she’s ever had, plus she desperately needs the money to save one of her favorite places – the local library.
But when her new friends and new business gets her kicked out of her dad’s house, Belle is rescued by the surly Vincent “Beast” Adams who invites her to be his house guest until she gets back on her feet. Despite his attitude problem and long list of rules, Belle finds herself warming to the muscled man with a penchant for growling and starts seeing a gentle side to him that wasn’t there before.
Yet there’s a room that Beast keeps locked and Belle keeps getting hints that Beast is hiding something…can a nerdy librarian tame the beast or will their romance be over before it has a chance to blossom?

This is book 2 in a 3 book series but they are interlocking standalones and you can read them in any order. These are cute/funny modern retellings of fairy tales. This one is beauty and the beast (love the set up!), the other two are Cinderella and The Little Mermaid. The narrator in the audiobook version is also fabulous!
“—He makes me tingle and resembles a rude knight in shining armor.”
If you are looking for a good book to give you a giggle, you can’t lose with In Bed with the Beast. I guarantee that you will adore all three of the sweet, sassy and sexy ladies in The Naughty Princess Club. Belle was especially fun because she’s the innocent book nerd who works at a library. Who is more perfect to soften the heart of a grumpy beast?
When I first met Belle and Beast while reading At the Stroke of Midnight he was the lucky recipient of her first-ever angry outburst. The shy, quiet, timid librarian let it fly and set him straight. That was my first inkling that those two might be perfect for each other and I was excited at the possibility as I started mentally matchmaking. When I took a sneak peek on Goodreads at the title of the next book in the series I didn’t even have to read the synopsis to know what was coming. Yup, I felt the sparks, even then.
While I was sad for Belle when her overprotective father kicked her out, I was also thinking to myself that it was about damn time she grew up and spread her wings. I mean really, she’s twenty-five years old. Not that I’m judging her, I too was a book nerd that spent hours and hours alone reading when everyone else was out partying. But I wanted her to experience all the things she and I both missed out on. Somebody needs to experience the fairy tale, right?
While I can’t tell you too much, because it’s not my secret to tell, but I admit that I was surprised by the Beast. While I knew he was a man of few words, and those were usually growled rather than spoken, I wasn’t expecting what I eventually learned about him. Isn’t it awesome when that happens?
I really enjoyed watching Belle come out of her shell and the transformation of both her and Beast. As she got stronger he became more gentle, but only towards her. I could hear the “softness in his raspy voice” when he told her “you’re so weird.” And those girls…I laughed my ass off at their antics and banter, especially Ariel. I can see why the author saved her for last, that book’s gonna be a doozy and I can’t wait. The line forms here…
Delightfully funny and all around great read. I adore how these heroines become empowered through each story.
4.5 “YOU’RE SO WEIRD” STARS!
In Bed with the Beast is the 2nd book in Tara Sivec’s, The Naughty Princess Club series . The story centers around Isabelle ‘Belle’ Reading and Vincent ‘Beast’ Adams. Sound familiar? Based off the title alone I knew this book would be saucy and fun. Belle happens to be one of my favorite Disney princesses, and Tara did not disappoint!! The modern retelling of this classic was angsty, filled with banter and explosive chemistry!
Vincent is guarded, brooding, and a silent brute. Belle is a naive wallflower who yearns to spread her wings. She wants to prove to her friends and to herself that she can be more than a simple bookworm… That she can be sexy and desirable. After her father kicks her, Belle turns to Vincent as her only ally. Sparks fly and a sweet slow burn romance ensues. Belle breaks down his walls and Vincent helps her see her worth.
I truly adored this book!! In Bed with the Beast was perfect! Belle and Vincent couldn’t have been more adorable and made for one another. Tara Sivec has made me fall in love with this series for a second time and I can’t wait to fall a third. I’m anxiously waiting Ariel’s story!!! #Ahhhhhhh
Tara Sivec is at her hilarious best with her new Naughty Princess Club series.
We are back with Isabelle and Beast’s story now, and I wasn’t sure what tack this book was going to take. What tack it did take was one right to my funny bone!
I think I have always connected more with Belle in this series – I think it is just that I want a library, damnit! I adore her quirkiness, I love her shyness, however I also love how she grabs life by the curlies and goes for it.
Then there is Beast. Oh my! I mean, he was fun in the background of the first book, but this guy! Gah, he is amazing.
Full of fun, sexy, flirty moments, these ladies will have you laughing out loud with their antics.
I am really, really wanting Ariel’s story. She had no filter and it is going to be a fun ride as she finds her HEA
I seriously don’t know how Tara does this.
I was expecting book two to be a little less entertaining simply because the “in between” reads are usually a little slower. Also, Belle, is the more impressionable one of the trio so I thought I would have to pull myself through.
I was wrong.
Tara proved me wrong.
I loved it.
Belle and her Beast are a fun couple. I loved that she was able to tame him, but I loved even more how he wasn’t gentle with her. He knew her strength and went from there. This was truly a fun, delightful that I recommend.
This series is a definite must read!
Finally back with our three fairy tale strippers!
Well, Cindy is the only stripper so far. But now it’s time for Belle’s story.
Remember her? The shy, 25 year old librarian who is still living with her overprotective dad.
But he kind of throws her out after finding out that she’s one of those riffraff hookers! LOL!
And after sleeping in her beloved library for a few nights, Beast, the bouncer from the strip-club takes her home with him.
Belle already had a huge crush on Beast in the first book and now she’s LIVING WITH HIM!!!
But she’s so unexperienced and shy. And he’s so silent and grunty and secretive.
She needs to learn how to flirt with guys. And she finally needs to start stripping if she wants to save her library!
What will happen with Belle & Beast??
Will we get a happily ever after??
READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT!
LOL!
The second book was just as adorably funny as the first one!
Those three chicks are hilarious! Ariel, the antique dealer with absolutely NO filter. The prude housewife Cindy. Innocent librarian Belle. They SO don’t fit together as best friends, but it works perfectly.
And sexy beast. He’s just what Belle needs in her life. They’re perfect for each other. But there’s a lot of stuff to overcome until we can ride off into our happily ever after sunset together!
I just loved reading this book!
Absolutely hilarious and adorable and sweet. I just adore this group of people!
And I loved the moments with Belle’s dad! (Not the moments at the beginning – the later ones!)
I SO need Netflix to come and make a show out of this series!
I’m a tiny little disappointed about Belle’s mega-typical reaction and action when the ‘thing’, the ‘reveal’ happens towards the end. Why can’t there be something a bit more original in books? Almost every single book uses this stupid reaction. I want something creative and new and fun and moving and unexpected! BUT – I still realllly loved the book and the people and the story and everything!
IN BED WITH THE BEAST was such a hilarious & sexy & adorable RomCom! Run to your nearest amazon asap – you need to meet these ladies! And Beast of course … but HANDS OFF … he’s MINE!
…. and now hurry – I need to read Ariel’s & Eric’s story asap!
In Bed with the Beast by Tara Sivec

I purchased this book on Amazon.
Tara Sivec is a USA Today best-selling author, wife, mother, chauffeur, maid, short-order cook, baby-sitter, and sarcasm expert. She lives in Ohio with her husband and two children and looks forward to the day when all three of them become adults and move out.
“Does no one believe in fairy tales and happily ever after anymore?”
Belle is ready to break out of her basement bedroom and shed her cardigan, and live her life. Everyone in her life treats her like a delicate flower. Belle is ready to put down the books and climb on stage- ready or not- someone is getting a happy ending.
I enjoyed the modern spin on Beauty and the Beast. Tara has taken a take as old as time and sprinkled some sexy glitter, and boom!
I enjoyed getting to know Belle in this book. She is such an adorable character. Watching her find her confidence and learn to stand up for herself and fight for what she wants was incredible. There is so much female empowerment in this book and so much body positivity- everything about this journey is beautiful.
Tara Sivec took a classic fairytale and turned it into an empowering tale of friendship, self love and independence.

This was a fun continuation of this series. These three friends are quite hilarious together. Belle is a great female lead and I loved watching her come out of her shell and learn to stand up to others and stand up for herself. She also learns a lot about herself in this process and really grows into a strong young woman.
Beast is quite the interesting hero and I quite liked him, even with his abruptness and growly temperament. He’s very sweet with Belle as they get to know each other.
Lots of fun and an easy read, definitely recommend this one and look forward to book 3.
The second book of Tara Sivec’s The Naughty Princess Club is just as good if not better than the first. I can’t resist a Beauty and the Beast retelling, and I love how it is employed here. Belle is my favorite of the three women introduced in At the Stroke of Midnight . She is a bit naive, having lived with her father her whole life, but in an endearing way. She’s book-obsessed (did you expect anything less for our Belle?). When she has a fight with her father, Belle winds up living at the library where she works.
Enter Beast, aka Vincent Adams. Y’all I love that Tara Sivec used the name of the Beast in the 90s TV series. I may have squealed when I read that I digress, Beast invites Belle to live with him in a spare bedroom until she has enough money to live on her own. Hilarity ensues! The very naive and shy Belle’s experience with men is limited to what she’s read in books and online. It doesn’t take long for Belle to crack the hardened Beast though. He comes off as surly and closed off to those around him, but in reality he is the opposite. Very gentle and caring, like the original Beast.
Belle asks Beast for his help in becoming seductive for her new job as a stripper. Y’all I about died. These scenes are some of the funniest I’ve ever read. While Cindy and PJ’s romance was a slow-burn, I not sure what to call this one. This is an instant chemistry romance, but the characters are VERY slow to act on it.
Overall I loved In Bed with the Beast. I loved Belle and Beast. They were perfect for each other. He brought the shy librarian out of her shell while she forced him to live again. Perfection!
There have been many versions of Disney fairytales over the years, but none have ever been done quite like this! In Bed with the Beast is book 2 in The Naughty Princess Club, and Tara Sivec’s interpretation of Beauty & The Beast is like no other. There are no castles or magic here, just a naive, wanna be stripper, and a brooding, gorgeous bouncer. And somehow they equal the most addicting & hilarious fairytale I’ve ever read
Isabelle Reading is 25, still lives at home, and is completely awkward. Until recently books were her only friends, but then she met Ariel & Cindy. Now she has two best friends and a new company – The Naught Princess Club. Super shy & inexperienced, Belle has been staying behind the scenes, but money’s tight and she’s ready to put herself out there. Awkward dates, embarrassing moments, and attempts at sexual exploration follow in her journey to become the best stripper she can be.
For anyone who has read Tara Sivec before, you know she can write comedy with the best of them. Add in a beloved fairytale & strippers, and you have a comedic masterpiece! I couldn’t stop laughing, and I adored Belle & Beast. But true star of this book is Mrs Potter. Please Tara, give us an entire book dedicated to old, dirty mouthed Mrs Potter!!
If you are looking for a fun story that will keep you laughing, this is it! I can’t wait to read about the rest of the Naughty Princesses!!
Lots of fun
In Bed with the Beast by Tara Sivec is the second book in her funny and sexy Naughty Princess Club Series. A modern day retelling of the Beauty and the Beast theme.
Belle is a sheltered woman who is surprised when her over protective father kicks her out of her house. Even more surprising is when surly bouncer, Vincent, is the one to come to her rescue. Now that she is no longer under the protective thumb of her father she is ready to spread her wings and fly, but when Vincent also tries to control her she learns that she has a backbone and is ready to use it.
Vincent is a surly grumpy man of few words. But Belle has worked her way into his system and he can’t do anything but keep her as close as possible. Things get out of control and the more he tries to take charge of the situation the worse it gets. Will he able to back off and let her be the woman she is trying to be?
Hilarious, quirky, and sexy and sweet. This naughty princess Belle has met her match in Vincent. Enjoy!
Even though In Bed With The Beast is the second book in The Naughty Princess Club series, it can be read as a standalone. I actually read all of the stories out of order. As a warning though, these stories are completely addictive and once you read one you will want to read the others. So best bet is to start at book 1 for no spoilers!
“I’m nobody’s hero, princess. And this isn’t a fairy tale.”
I love the fairytale tie ins with these stories. The humor and banter is awesome and every character, major or minor, is tops and I just wish there were more of these books!!
-5 Stars!!-
This was a Cute take on Beauty and the Beast.
Vincent “Beast” is the bouncer at Charming’s which is a strip club the Naughty Princesses have to debut at before they are able to start “hosting” their own parties. Isabelle “Belle” is the geeky, book nerd that shoots off random facts of nothingness when she is nervous, a quirk that is really endearing.
This book was so cute and had me laughing out loud so many times I had tears rolling down my cheeks. It was a light and easy read that will grab you right from the start and keep you engrossed until the very last page. I didn’t read the first book in the series which I will be reading soon because these three friends are a riot. If you are looking for a good laugh and a steamy read all in one you’ll want to be In Bed with the Beast 😉 Happy Reading!!!
Isabelle Reading is a shy and sheltered young woman living in her Dad’s basement and working at the local library. Recently becoming friends with Cynthia and Ariel and the decision to go into business together is helping her find her inner strength and rapidly ranking as the highlight of her life until she finds herself homeless.
Vincent “Beast” Adams is the grumpy bouncer at a strip club and, when he learns about Belle’s situation, he’ll offer her a spare room in his house until she can get back on her feet. Unfortunately for him, Belle has other plans.
Once again Ms. Sivec did a great job taking a fairy tale and turning it into a modern day spinoff of a young woman’s journey to find her own voice.
I really enjoyed the story, the characters and the situations they get themselves into. It has a smart take on the classic, following an original storyline with quite a few unexpected turns. Another fun, sexy and enjoyable story that can be read as a standalone and that will not disappoint the reader.
I truly enjoyed this book. I loved seeing how shy Belle found her inner strength and transformed into a strong independent woman. Her tendency to randomly spout out information was adorable. Her innocence and honesty had brought out the inner softness of Vincent. Even though Vincent sometimes could be grouchy and broody, he had a big heart and was supportive to Belle even if he disagreed on some of her decisions. Vincent was so swoon-worthy; what he did at the end had melted my heart. Another favourite thing about this book was most definitely the banter and the friendship between Belle, Ariel and Cindy. These ladies had been there for each other through the good and the bad. They built each other up and provided the needed wisdom or a kick in the butt when necessary.
I had so much fun reading this hilarious and entertaining story. I highly recommended this series to anyone looking for something fun, sexy and creative with a fairy tale twist. I’m looking forward to Ariel’s story. With her unfiltered mouth, I’m certain her story will be awesomely hilarious.
I usually doesn’t read fairytale retellings because I am not attracted to fairytale stories much, but this one was cute and funny. “In bed with the beast” is the retelling of Beauty aka Isabelle and Beast aka Vincent.
Belle was a weirdo. She was a bookworm and liked to say random facts when it wasn’t necessary, and this made me laugh sometimes but frown other times. I liked her enough because she was awkward and didn’t take herself easily, but there was something missing… maybe she needed more personality, I don’t know. Sometimes her actions and her thoughts were contradicting.
Beast was weird as well, but for other reasons. He was the closed off bouncer of a nightclub and didn’t talk much. I would have preferred more talking and more actions, or maybe his POV, because sometimes it didn’t seem like he was into Isabelle like she seemed to be into him.
Overall, the story was very funny and we see various characters from the original story making an appearence in comic-worthy situations. I liked Cindy and Ariel a lot because they added more humor to the story, but sometimes I found their strip club idea meh.
This is book 2 in the Naughty Princess Club. It can be read as a standalone but the characters are in each book and I recommend them all. I somehow started with book 3 and am making my way back through them backwards.
Love Belle and Beast’s story. Beast is definitely all alpha but I love how Belle brings out the sweet, romantic side in him! Such a cute, sweet book that had me blushing one minute and laughing hysterically the next!! Look forward to finally reading Cindy’s story in book 1.
This series is amazing. It is funny, steamy, and mixed with little emotional pieces that will have you glued to the pages. I will admit that there were pieces to this that made my eyes moist. (I’ve always wanted to use moist in a review. Giggle) Anyway… This book is my fave of the trilogy so far. I love Belle and her Beast so much. Highly recommend Tara and all her work. I’ve been a fan for years, and she only continues to top herself. Five huge beastly stars! – By Cat
