This was a bit of an odd read for me. Had I read the editorial reviews I would have been better prepared for the apocalyptic/dystopian/Leftovers turn of the story, but as it was, I purchased after reading only the blurb…. and the blurb is a little vague (purposely?) about just how pervasive that dark narrative vision permeates the …
