Enjoy dual perspectives of totally opposite twins as they dodge each other and put their faith in love.
***MEET BRITTANY***
If my twin sister talks to me, I want to rip my ears off… family issues. I’m too busy crushing on the new guy. With his crystal blue eyes and cheeky smile, I’m totally melting.
He’s sensitive, and kind, and thinks I’m funny. But, I swear, he’s keeping something close to his chest.
I just can’t wait to get closer to this gorgeous mystery guy. But he sits with the popular crowd… And if I want to be with him, I need to become a cheerleader.
***MEET CHARLI***
If my twin sister talks to me, it means hell has frozen over…
Brittany took Mum’s side. I took Dad’s side. And since their divorce, our rift has grown deeper.
I’m so lucky to have two loyal best friends. But sometimes, I leave them in the dark. Solitude has become a comfort. That is until I met Travis.
My friends are skeptical. They only know him as a jock. No one but me knows him as a loving, creative soul.
Their doubts keep me on edge. But I can’t deal with this right now. Dad wants to see good grades, and I’m willing to do anything to reach the top and make him proud.
Warning: contains swoon-worthy hot guys who will steal your heart, evil cheerleaders who will have your blood boiling, and self-serving, dysfunctional parents causing the ultimate family drama.

Emily Bourne
Rating:./5 (4.5/5)
A thoroughly enjoyable read!! The author discusses serious issues teenagers face in this day and age. Set in a high school, Emily introduces Charlotte and Brittany who are identical twins but their personality is far from identical. Popularity means everything to Brittany and Charlie is least bothered by it she hangs out with the nerds and geeks and is counted as one of the boys because of her tomboyish nature.
And Bryce!! Oh my God he’s a character I just loved so much!! Of course I loved every single character because each had their own important roles yet this guy had my heart when he first entered the page!! Such a heartbreakingly awesome character in every way, if/ when I become an author my main goal would be to portray a character like him I mean not him but a character that’s so well written that the reader cannot help it but fall in love!
The author addresses the peer pressure factor students face at school and the added pressure of parental expectations that stress out the children and make their lives messier.
Emily has thrown the “I’m just like you ” Twin mould out the window and shown each girl apart yet the same, like looking in a mirror. Looking forward to read more from the author!!

A very well written story. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this story. I liked how the author placed the reveals which propelled the story forward. I liked the characters who were intriguing. I found the story to be very entertaining.

This is the 3rd book I’ve read written by Emily Bourne; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

This book was a great read. You get lost in the pages and into the story so fast. From the first few pages I was hooked and could not put it down.

This story took me back to my own high school days, and what a wild ride. The secrets harbored, the petty jealousies and the wild rumors made for an entertaining read with an emphasis on the rattling angst of the teen years, trying to make the grade, and all the while trying to fit in. Is there anything more difficult than this?
The story revolves around twin sisters and how they are living through and perceiving the going’s on, not only at their school but in their homes and love lives too. The only warning is that you’ll need a name card for there are SO many characters to keep track of. But isn’t that what high school is; a melting pot of characters and personalities?
I can’t wait to read the second book in the series. Now that I know who everyone is and how they’re all connected, I look forward to seeing where everyone winds up.

Emily Bourne did a good job on this story, the characters and plot was strong, the story was written well, it was packed with many emotions. The characters’ journey was a bumpy one but they were strong.
I enjoyed this story, looking forward to reading more.
Thanks, Emily Bourne. Good work 🙂
Brittney and Charli give you quite the roller-coaster of emotions and drama for sure. This book was very naive for my taste, and I really just couldn’t get into the book. Thought it was more NA but it’s really just reliving high school over again, and I DO NOT by any means want to do that.
