I’m in trouble… Two impossible males—the rich as sin Jack Griffin and Wilbur, the cranky feline—have latched onto me and won’t let go. One is eating me out of my dorm, the other ruins my carefully organized one-night stand for the elusive O.As tempting as Jack is with his wicked smile and sexy body, my plans for the future don’t include the notorious former player. Then, with a single, smoking … a single, smoking kiss, he storms his way into my life with promises of pleasure. But I’m not the woman for him…even if I want to be. Our worlds are just too far apart.
One kiss was all it took for me to fall…
And the woman who knocks me off my axis is annoyingly dismissive of me. Because in Rayen Logan’s world, I don’t exist, a fact I damn-well intend to change. Her plan to attain her first O has my name on it, and she will be mine in every other way too…as soon as I can convince the difficult woman to let me prove that my player days are done. Nothing will stand in my way of getting what I want, not even Ray herself.
Just when I think maybe we have a chance at a relationship, a life-long nemesis intrudes, determined to destroy the tenuous bonds forming between us…

This was Ray and Jack’s story, and I found it more emotional than the last book. Maybe it was because it was a friend’s to lovers story. It was all consuming for me. Brilliant in the back and forth. Loved how focused and driven Ray was. And I loved how Jack just decided he has nothing to lose by going for it. Jack…my heart broke for him, but his story was really beautiful. Completely cliche proof, Hunter has created a story that destroys genre standards.
“After the regurgitation of my past, it’d felt as if a severed part of me had been healed, and I could breathe easier. H@@, like sunlight, she warmed the loneliness inside me. She’d given me her unreserved acceptance, despite knowing and seeing some of my #$%&. She’d given me a sense of peace I’d never expected.”
These two were just made for each other, and the chemistry was smokin up the page! Jack and Ray were written with what I can only describe as joy and a desperation not to be defined by your past…only your future.
I loved Max and Ila story but this one had me in tears!! Jack and Ray’s story had me at the very beginning until the very end. Georgia Lyn Hunter’s writing is graceful with every stroke of the pen, she builds her story to a blinding array of emotions, laughter, heartache at never begin loved and beautifully written never ending love story!!
Will Jack and Ray get their happily ever after or will Jack’s family ruin it for him?
I loved the first book in this series and I was not let down by the second!!! I loved this book too the authour style off writing grips you and keeps you intrigued and you have to keep turning the page to see what happens next. I loved Ray and jack.story it had me giggling and had me feeling like I’d be sucker punched. Such an amazing read I cant not wait for the third in this series.
I knew this would be a great book and I was so right. Jack just broke my heart. He had so many reasons for his out of control behavior. I loved his “dirty, sexy mouth” and the way he protected Ray. And Ray is such a fun, giving old soul. She just wanted a “ONS” and an “O” that she had been denied. Nigel is the perfect grandfather. His B of a grandmother is the perfect villainess. This is a great follow up in the Players to Men series.
Amazing read – Completely engrossing!!
The depths of characterizations in this story is phenomenal. Ray is trying to figure out what she will do over the summer before her last year of college. Working at the bar is not ideal, nor provides enough money. Jack, a frequent visitor and best man to her sister’s future husband, has been labeled a player and is not on her “possible” list.
Wedding plans and common spheres of influence have these two constantly running into each other. Jack is being pressured into a “good-for-the-family” marriage but pursues Ray instead.
If you haven’t read #1 in this series, you are truly missing out. Those characters spill into this story, and the main characters here are totally relatable and balance the sparks with humor.
Humorous banter, sexy interplay and story twists to keep you guessing!! I highly recommend!
Jack is heir to the Blackstone-Griffin hotel chain and one of the men known to be in the Player’s Club. He lives his life reckless and fast and never sees the same woman twice. Rayen is the sister to Ila who who we met in the first book and stole Max’s heart, which just happens to be Jack’s best friend. Jack and the gang hang out at the bar Ray works at and generally look out for her. When he learns that his buddy War is fixing her up on a date all best are off and he suddenly can’t get enough of Ray. Jack’s world is calculating and cold and if Ray isn’t careful it will swallow her up. Can the two of them find love and happiness? The characters are written in a manner that draws you in and leaves you fully vested in their future. Jack is the boyfriend you want with his good looks, attentiveness, and willingness to fight the world for what he wants. Ray is everything right in a book heroine. Perfectly constructed together, you will love this steamy drama. I volunteered to read this book.
