PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS PART TWO OF A FOUR-PART SERIAL TO BE READ IN ORDER. PART ONE IS MYSTERIOUS MR. DARCY.
Marrying Mr. Darcy is an epic sweet and clean Regency romantic suspense serial in four thrilling parts. It reimagines the lives of the main characters from Pride and Prejudice. There will be intrigue and high tension along the way, but rest assured that this dramatic love story will be resolved fully in the final book.

A Shrill and Silly Lizzy
I don’t like this author’s portrayal of Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet in this serialized book. This is the second installment, and she’s made Elizabeth stupid and argumentative over the least things and things that should be obvious. Yes, she has amnesia, but that doesn’t mean that you lose complete sense of reason. You just lose memories. The things she and Darcy argue over are just ridiculous. And they seem to argue a lot. The author has attempted Regency speak but has fallen short of the mark; it just ends up sounding stilted and awkward. She also uses incorrect words on occasion, like traced instead of tracked and decadent instead of indecent. I actually feel sorry for Mr. Darcy as I do wish he would find a less silly woman. There are two more parts to go in the serial, and I don’t see them having any sort of a romantic arc whatsoever—it feels like it’s all about her amnesia and his legal difficulties (believed to be a thief and murderer), i.e., not about them as a couple—nor can I see how it can come about between them. And, my goodness, I can’t quite believe the whole bit with Colonel Fitzwilliam and Wickham as well as who Darcy is supposed to have murdered (and that Col. F. would have believed it possible). To say the story strains credulity is an understatement. It is simply too far fetched. Very disappointing.
I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
Interesting story. Lots of drama! What a thrilling and intriguing book this is. Once you start you can’t put it down until you reach the last page. Lots of twists and turns in this one with some familiar characters. Good historical read.

This is the second book in the Marrying Mr. Darcy series. This picks up where book 1 left off, so it’s better if you read the books in order. I like this book in that through Miss Rose we get a little more of Darcy’s backstory. Some danger and intrigue made this an entertaining story. Looking forward to the next one!

This is the second part of a four part saga. The story starts where the last book ended with our couple fleeing a dangerous situation and shows their journey to England. Mr Darcy decides that Col. Fitzwilliam is the best person to help Miss Rose find her family. Is asking for his help going to put our couple in more danger though?
I enjoyed seeing Mr Darcy starting to open up to Miss Rose and the trust they are building between them. Miss Rose is starting to get flashes of memory and we are getting more of Mr Darcy’s back story. His situation is a living hell and I hope our couples trust is not completely broken when Miss Rose finds out.

I felt this book was short. It narrates of what happened while they were being pursued from the cabin to thenearest town. It tells of Fd’s struggle on how to keep them safe. They travelled back to England and met FD’s nemesis/nemeses. I would have not guessed what FD learned in the end and EB’s choice.
Though I find it short, I loved the development of the story ( I just find this part slow as there was a lot of self-reflecting/monologues)Love the possible villain/s of this story. i wonder where FD is going next. How will the story end.
I cannot wait for the next segment.
